Sora at night was as dangerous as Minato or any other run down town. The complex roads and numerous alleyways were playgrounds to thieves and cut-throats. Unfortunately, Sora's reputation as one of the safest, most controlled cities of Sohul made it a rare stop for Guardians. Kakushin, however, was not blind to the corrupt night of this 'peaceful' place. He could see the grey sky behind all the bright sunshine, and Sora to Kaku was as bad as any Human city. The Angel was perched like a hawk, watching and listening for anything outside of the peaceful night atmosphere. And he wasn't kept too long before it broke through the silence. The scream of a woman. Kakushin could have smiled, seeing as his prediction was yet again proven right. But the situation wasn't the place for grinning. Wings appearing in a flash of light, Kaku practically dived into the sky in front of him. The wind took him forward, and Kakushin winded around the dazzlingly complex network of streets in Sora. The cry was a short while away, but any Guardian of Peace could hear it.
Before the group of thugs, or the woman they had cornered knew it, Kakushin landed in a cloud of feathers between the two. A glance up at the shocked faces of the four thugs, Kakushin smiled ever so slightly, standing firm. Three thugs held menacing looking, homemade axes, whilst the thinner one to the side had a simple knife. Kakushin acknowledge them all, judging strength, before drawing his sword. "In a place so close to the clouds of Aura, you'd think the thugs here would be a bit more subtle. But maybe the thin air up here is dulling your brains..." Kakushin stated, before his silver sword began to glow. One flick, and one thug was shot by a wickedly powerful blast of light. One down, Kaku looked to the others. "That's if you guys even have brains." He finished. Finally, the thugs tried to fight back. The strongest man, presumably the leader, attempted to hammer Kakushin into the ground with his axe. But with a small side step, Kaku dodged the hit, incapacitating the man with a cut on his leg. Before he could move, the other axe wielder had his weapon to Kakushin's back. The Angel didn't flinch, but looked at the greasy thug with a slight grin. "Hey Neko, how long you gonna play bad guy?" Kakushin asked to the smaller thug.
Face covered by mask and bandanna, the smaller thug seems to chuckle. Before, using his cat-like speed, the small thug darted forwards, shoving the larger thug away with a kick, and giving Kakushin the room he needed to turn around and paralyze the last aggressive thug. Watching the large man fall with a ground, Kakushin smiled, glancing to his shoulder as Neko, in his cat form, perched on it. "You ruined the fun, Kaku!" Neko meowed, licking his paw cheekily. Kakushin chuckled, before glancing to the terrified woman. Kakushin moved out of the way of the alleyway's exit. "Forgive the violence, now run home quick, I'll make sure you're not followed." The woman whimpered, before grabbing Kakushin's hand as a quick thanks before running into the street and away.
"She's over there! Get her!" Called a loud voice from the street.
Kakushin watched the chase of shadows in the street, before sighing. Whoever she was, that woman had herself in the wrong kind of trouble. A beat of his wings, and Kakushin was following her from the air, diving down to block off any thugs in pursuit.

Ru watched and chased in silence the woman, for reasons he was not sure. Itami had him undercover in a group of thugs, claiming that they had something that belonged to her, finally working out it was but a simple mask, made him wonder why she couldn't get it herself. But again, he wasn't sure of Itami's mind-set even today, so he went along with it, and now he was chasing down a woman. The things he did for the Outlaws. Four of the thugs managed to split from the group, and chase her down an ally, part of Ru wanted to help her, but that would both uncover his identity and not end well with Itami, so he waited until they returned. Rurushu was pleased when the woman came running out the ally, but knew such a thing wouldn't last long. "She's over there! Get her!" The largest of the five remaining thugs on the hunt began to chase the woman down once again.
Ru felt a familiar presence though, and knew the woman would be alright. Slightly smirking, Ru decided to act, and knocked down the remaining thug by his side.. Riley, his name was, if Ru remembered correctly, the one in possession of his collection, and the only thug to not trust him, for good reason too. Quickly sheathing his sword, Ru rummaged through his pack before finding the mask. Taking a glance towards the fray of thugs and the woman. Ru headed over to her, may as well keep up appearances for a little longer. Blocking of the woman's mouth to hide the screams, Ru brought his lips to her ear "You know dearie, you picked a bad crowd to get involved with... If I was you, I would run as far as possible, perhaps hide for a day or two." Releasing his hold, he allowed her to once again run, before watching the sight in front of him.

"Oh please tell me that's not who I think it is..." Kakushin muttered. Neko pointed his nose to the ground below them, spotting the dark haired man as well. "What's the Outlaws want with our lady, Kaku?" The cat asked, looking rather worried. Kakushin flapped his wings, shaking his head slightly. "Your guess is as good as mine. but one things for sure, if he's here, then this isn't just a simple bandit clear-out anymore." Kaku replied, before landing on a roof nearby the action. Neko hopped off of Kaku's shoulder, glancing to the Guardian. Kaku nodded to the clever cat, and Neko soon took off. The feline landed in the street, taking the form of the small thug he'd used before, and then chasing after his 'gang' to join them as they caught up to the woman. Rurushu, the little sidekick to the current big problem facing all realms. There was something about the guy that just oozed with evil, and yet Kaku didn't hate him completely. He had his issues, but Kaku felt like his tale as an Outlaw wasn't the only part to Rurushu's story.
Kakushin eyed his surrounding, before darting to the roof closer to the gang, listening carefully. Ru seemed to betray a fellow thug, taking whatever the man had, before towering over the exhausted woman. They were after something, but the Outlaw's interest in the woman seemed to thin out. The poor woman was allowed to run again, the remaining thugs chasing her again. Kaku decided to take action, taking a jump down onto the road, before racing straight passed Rurushu and towards the thugs. One slice on each back, and the men were down for the count. However, Kaku spared one, forcing the small thug to the ground. Kaku kept up his fighting image, but was a bit more gentle on his disguised feline friend. "Follow her, make sure there aren't any waiting for her at home." Kakushin instructed in a whisper, before picking Neko up and tossing him in the woman's direction. The cat stumbled to his feet, pretending to be terrified as he ran off. Kakushin turned to face the remaining enemy, glaring to Rurushu. He pointed his blade forwards. "Mind showing me what you took from that poor ally of yours?" He asked, blade glowing slightly.

To Ru, it was always a pleasure watching Kaku fight, he had a grace that none of the Outlaws possessed, not even himself. And it was always fun watching his little friend take part as well, especially undercover as he was today, even if only for a short amount of time. "Don't worry about the woman Kaku, those are the only thugs following her, none of the others know. And I must say, brilliant acting with Neko there, you almost had even me fooled." It was always a joy getting under the guardians skin, and side stepping the main issue. They often came into combat, due to the Outlaws, and it was always his favourite moments, and worth the wait. Ru brought the mask into the open and took a look at it. Blood red, covering only one eye and a small jewel hung just underneath, the perfect mask to cover Itami's tattoo under her eye, and perhaps the reason why she wanted back such a gem. "Cant really harm me for collecting what was stolen from us, can you? Its only a mere mask after all, Kaku." Sometimes the conversations between himself and Kaku were worth giving up his cover as Itami's little lap dog, and the real Rurushu could come out and have a little fun. It was always most enjoyable when he was able to make the great Kaku let down his guard for even a moment.

"Don't worry about the woman Kaku, those are the only thugs following her, none of the others know. And I must say, brilliant acting with Neko there, you almost had even me fooled." Kakushin smiled slightly, sword still aimed high. "Yeah well sorry Rurushu, don't blame me if I don't completely believe the words of an Outlaw..." Suddenly Kaku lowered his sword, hand on his side as he realized he'd no need to fight anymore. "And, thanks... Neko needs to be entertained." Kaku replied, a little calmer. Ru was, as usual, trying to get to Kaku. Not an easy task when the victim was the Guardian of Peace. Not many things made Kaku livid, and even the annoying little black rat Rurushu that always clashed horns with him. Kakushin eyes the item from afar. A mask? Interesting, and peculiar. What Itami wanted with a mask was beyond Kakushin, and that made him nervous. "Can't really harm me for collecting what was stolen from us, can you? It's only a mere mask after all, Kaku." Being called by his informal nickname made Kaku's face flush ever so slightly. It wasn't a name he allowed use of lightly. Smiling, Kakushin raised his blade again, stepping off from his feet. With light speed, Kaku was suddenly closer to Rurushu, looking closer at the mysterious mask. "Mere mask, and yet the second in command of the Rebellion decides to come and fetch it himself. I knew you were Itami's lap dog, but do you really go and fetch her items like a real doggie, Ruru?"

This was exactly what Ru wanted. Not a fight of strength, but a fight of wits, and he knew perfectly well that Kaku could give that. "At least I know how to bite." Ru gave Kaku a predatory grin before moving backwards and putting the mask in a safe place. Itami would not be happy if anything happened to it, but with the ways things were going he wouldn't have to worry. Kaku wasn't one to get into an unnecessary fight with him, they had plenty of time to do that on actual duty. "Besides I'm happy playing the loyal little doggie, I get all the best treats." Which was true, without doing what Itami asked, Ru may never have gotten half of what he had today... May never have gotten to meet certain people who make his life so interesting. "But yes its a mere mask... Don't tell me that after all we have been through you don't trust me... Forget that I'm an Outlaw, you know I would never lie to you."

"Yeah, and you bark pretty good too." Kaku returned, almost enjoying this little game. It was always the same with the pair of opposites, a game of toying with one another until either one cracked, or something else brought them back to earth. This talk was going far enough from a fight for Kakushin to even sheath his blade, holding his arms across his chest as he watched the sly man back away. "Well she is your loving owner after all Ruru, but I wouldn't let her know about our little talks, you wouldn't want to be fixed now would you?" Kaku wasn't always the kind and serious Guardian his Angel friends knew him as. Meeting with this Outlaw that entertained him, brought out the snappier side of Kakushin, something the Angel wasn't shy on hiding. "Even a mere mask can be put to the worst use by that woman, so don't blame me for staying cautious." But then Rurushu was true in one sense. Over all of their meetings, the Demon had never lied to Kaku, not even once. Why that was, Kakushin had no idea, but it did make a good point. "You're right... I believe you, but it's her I don't trust." Kaku replied with a sigh, glancing down the street as things quietened down.

"Damn right I bark pretty good... But only to certain individuals." Talking to Kaku was the one escape from his life that he allowed. It was the one moment Ru could actually be himself, and not worry about what was expected of him. "I'll be fixed any day if it meant getting to watch you squirm." Ru was never sure where he got his bold speech from during any of their talks, he was always quite prepared with what to say to those he encountered, but it was always different with Kaku. Rurushu had to agree a little with Kaku, Itami always found the worst in anything, and barely one could fully trust her. Hell, she even hid things from Ru. "Itami is never one to be trusted, but she is still the perfect owner for a loyal doggie like myself... I would say unless your willing to change that... but that wouldn't be loyal of me now would it..."

"To me right? I can't get enough of that barking, you're worse than Neko, you know that?" Kaku replied sarcastically. Loud people tended to annoy Kakushin, and among other reasons, Rurushu was one of those annoying people. And yet, Kaku was able to grin and bare it more than he would most, only Ru and Neko had that luxury. "I'll be fixed any day if it meant getting to watch you squirm." Kaku scoffed, smiling to the Demon. "You're a dirty little dog you know that? Makes me wonder why King Mo wanted rid of you." What a formal leader of a Rebellion Ruru was, unless this was all put on to make Kakushin laugh. It would seem even Ru's loyalty to Itami was thin, although there was no doubt the two leaders were still on the same page, for now. "What's loyalty to a Demon anyway?" Kaku asked with a shrug and smirk, "I thought you were all after chaos, not a pretty little companionship and trust." There was something under the evil tone of Rurushu in his statement. Was he really all for the Outlaw's cause, or was there something else on the Demon's mind? "You might be an Outlaw Ruru, but are you sure you're one of them? One of hers?"

Ru crossed his arms and just grinned. Of course he knew he was worse, he made sure of it, even if half the time he managed to get away with it. He knew Kaku didn't tolerate it from many. Rurushu couldn't help but give Kaku a knowing smirk. Many knew the reason for Ru's siding to the outlaws, he killed his own people and is still trying to extract revenge... But part of him couldn't help but be thankful for Mo, when he banded him as an outlaw, Mo was kind, seemingly knowing why Ru did such a thing in the first place. "You know, some doggies only do certain tricks for certain people... Or in this case, act in a certain way." Ru leant back against one of the nearby buildings, mulling over the next this Kaku said... It was true, loyalty within a Demon, especially in an Outlawed Demon was hardly necessary. "Some chaos is so large, that one cannot work alone... Not even a Demon. A little trust must be put in place."
Rurushu was caught out by the last question... Was he truly an Outlaw, sure he wanted revenge on the Demons and Humans for the way he treated him, or he believes they treated him, and Itami was the first friend he ever made... They made a promise after all... But it was true, though his mind was one, his heart was not, there were other ways less complicated to get revenge. But Kaku could not know this. "I am second in command to the rebels, and I agree whole heartedly with their plans... But I am not Itami's... I make my own choices, she does not force them upon me. If that was the case, you would be six feet under... Luckily for you, I don't want to see you gone, not just yet. I'm going to have my fun first."

Kakushin wasn't an Angel to work in a team himself, even if it was common place for his kind. The only back-up he needed was Neko, and even without the magic cat, Kaku was well off in most battles. He was one of the strongest Angel Guardians after all, it took a bit of work to bring him down. "Trust, it sounds so Angelic. But I suppose you Demons couldn't survive without a little of it... otherwise you'd be at one another's throats, or at least more than you already are." Something tugged inside of Rurushu, Kaku could feel the Demon's inner peace being disturbed. So, there was something hidden under this evil Demon, something not so foul and repulsive, perhaps seeing that was what made Kakushin hang around so often. "You're not hers, good. I know we like to joke about it, but being her slave isn't something I'd take lightly, slavery isn't peaceful." Ruru sure had the vision of being in control over all others, being in power. Sure the numbers of Outlaws was growing, but that didn't mean they were the greatest threat in the world, Kaku had probably seen worse. The brown haired Angel simply smiled, "Oh so you are sparing me? Why thank you, what a generous and benevolent Outlaw you are Ruru, if it wasn't for your kindness I'd be blood on Itami's hands." Kaku acted, placing a hand over his heart. He broke the act quicker than he started it, and Kaku ended in a fight of chuckling. "It's because I respect you Ru that you're not the one underground, and don't think even Itami has power over me either..." Kaku decided to do something. He pulled out his sword and stabbed it into the wall, a hair-width away from Rurushu's head, all done quicker than anyone could react to. Speed and swiftness, one of Kakushin's specialties, learnt directly from the small yet strong-willed Personal Guard to Queen Tenshi. Kakushin stood inches from Rurushu, looking over his sword with a grin wide enough to cover his eyes. "Within the drop of a stone, I could put an end to your plans. It would bring the most peace after all."

"Who said anything about being her slave?" Ru had to chuckle, Kaku's information on the matter must be terribly wrong if that was the case. Itami never enslaves people, her preferred method is to blackmail her 'victims' until they don't realise what they are doing. Or agree with the cause... Though the latter is rare. He did not reply when Kaku stated he was sparing him, as that was far from the case, instead Ru listened intensely to the conclusion he came up with, he knew Itami, and Kaku would not stand a chance when their plan comes into action, unless he finds her first, and that is impossible. Ru was unfazed when the sword came in contact right next to his head, for he knew Kaku wouldn't kill him. That and he knew he was only trying to scare him, and that would not happen easily. Instead, Ru took a hold of his own sword, and with a swiftness of his own held the blade to Kaku's throat, not enough to harm in any way, but enough to put that fear in place. Moving his lips to Kaku ear, Ru decided to voice his own reasoning. "Don't think im sparing you, Kaku. This is neither the time nor the place to end your life. And don't think im helpless either, I could take you down anytime, anywhere. And don't forget, if either of us fall, another will take our place... There are many Outlaws who are a part of this plan, and know it to the bone... You will be helpless against them."

Slave was a theoretical idea, Kaku knew slavery was strictly forbidden for any race, Demons included. What Itami did to get people to do as she said could be called enslaving them, when looking at it in a certain way. It a reason amongst many why Kaku didn't like her, the manipulating woman didn't get the golden Kaku ticket that Rurushu and Neko got. If he had the chance, and could find wherever the Goddess hid herself, Itami would certainly get a piece of Kaku's opinion. Kakushin's blade didn't scare the wits out of Rurushu, thought the Angel didn't consider that an issue. He didn't plan on scaring the Outlaw, just prove his strength. Stabbing a brick wall with such speed and precision only came from skill, Kaku wanted to prove that point. "Don't think I'm sparing you, Kaku. This is neither the time nor the place to end your life. And don't think I'm helpless either, I could take you down anytime, anywhere. And don't forget, if either of us fall, another will take our place... There are many Outlaws who are a part of this plan, and know it to the bone... You will be helpless against them." An emotion not usually felt by the being of Peace started to form. Anger, and something else. Whatever it was, the emotions made Kaku's head burn, his hands shake and fingers twitch around his sword. Feeling the metal near his neck didn't even get a response from Kakushin, nor did Rurushu's face near his ear. But the fact that this fool thought he 'owned' Kaku's right to live did get a response. The Angel decided to let go of his blade, jumping back and away from it as well as Rurushu's sword. A safer distance away, Kaku eyed the Demon, his breathing heavier as emotion built up. "How dare you view my life as a puppet for you to play with. It's mine, rightly deserved. I decide when I die, and it sure as Dranar won't be by your unworthy hands, Ruru." Kakushin held his palms towards one another, creating an orb of light magic between them. As the magic powered up, Kakushin stared at his foe with a serious expression. "You seem to make me more angry than anyone else can, and I hate that. If you say you're not helpless, then prove it, Ruru, prove to me that you could take me down whenever you wanted to."

Leaving his own weapon behind Ru took a slow decent towards Kaku, "A puppet? Who said anything like that... And decide when you want to die? You naïve fool, do you honestly think half of the Angels and Demons... Or Humans for that matter choose when they die? We are all puppets. So don't go blaming me for that." This was the thing Ru hated the most about Angels, their belief that things can be peaceful, that we have our own choices. Ru, just like all the others, doesn't remember his past life, but even he knows for him to become a Demon he must have died either unhappy, or done bad things... Part of him believes that it wasn't the life he chose, though he cannot be sure. Swirling around his palm, Ru summoned his own orb, this time however it was dark, filled with suffering and sorrow. One hit with this and Kaku would begin to lose the very thing he had inside of him... The light that made him and Angel. But Ru did not want to unleash such a power... By doing so the Kaku he knew would not be the same... And he would lose his true rival. But this may be what becomes. "To be honest, I don't know what you make me... But I will say there is something inside that makes me want to hurt you... You may be stronger than me, but doesn't your role as Guardian of peace make it impossible for you to truly harm me..? Unless, of course, you don't want to truly harm me?"

Kakushin refused to believe Ru's opinion. It was sick to think that life itself was just a story, something already written down in the book of all life. To the Guardian of Peace, life was a path unraveling as you walked through it, not something premade and planned out. No one had the right to decide for you in life, that was the ultimate peace that Kakushin strived for. He'd create it himself, one day, for everyone. Depending on whether they wanted to, an Angel or Demon could seek out from their elders the story of their Human life. For most, it didn't change much, but there was the risk of being harmed by knowing the person you once were. Kakushin knew his past, though it was a simple one of little tragedy. Rurushu probably refused to know his own, most Demons didn't want to know their story, since it was bound to end in tears. Kakushin pitied them for that, but it wasn't his duty to save Demons, it was his duty to protect everyone as a whole. Rurushu brought forth his own magic, and Kakushin smiled slightly. A battle between light and dark magic, this is be a collateral fight. Kakushin chuckled slightly to Rurushu attempt to predict the Angel's fighting style. He hid his frustration that Ru was correct beneath the outward laughter, "That's true, it's against what I protect to kill you, even though that would probably be for the greater peace, and a part of me doesn't want you dead, I'll admit. But harming you? You've no idea how much I want to do that... it's the one part of me that isn't pure Angelic and light." Kakushin admitted, before tiring of the idle chat. They'd both warmed up their magic, and Kakushin wasn't prepared to hold back anymore. A flick of his hand, and the Angel sent his beam of light magic forward. He didn't aim for Rurushu, however. The beam passed the Demon, and instead connected to Kaku's sword, still embedded in the building. As the light hit the metal sword, it was absorbed, and then reflected back at an angle. If it caught him off guard like Kakushin hoped, then the beam of magic should hit Rurushu's back, stunning him for sure.
