Kakushin let himself relax for a moment when Rurushu finally understood. All it took was a story of experience. Kaku didn't really like telling others about that past, he didn't want them to know. A selfish idea, but Kakushin didn't want his memory of Itamu to be treated like some tragic thing used to get pity, but in cases like now it seemed to be necessary. When he returned to the panic from what he'd said, Kaku heard a soft giggle from the roof. Neko remained out of sight, and clearly wasn't going to intervene and save Kakushin again, he wanted to see his friend squirm. Kakushin looked at Rurushu, then had to revert his eyes somewhere else. There was definitely something, but Kakushin wished there wasn't. Why did it have to be him? This arrogant little Demon wasn't Kakushin's first choice. But then there was the fact that Rurushu had managed to bring back Kakushin's past. There were feelings there that Kakushin hadn't felt in a long time, and thanks to this Demon, they were building again. Kakushin didn't like it. A part of him wanted to quickly stab and stun Ru and run away, but Kaku knew he could solve all his issues by his blade.
The Angel tried to relax, but when Rurushu spoke, it only made Kaku redden more. "I..." The Angel started. He heard movement on the roof. "Kaku just realized somethin', but I don't think he wishes it wasn't true." Kakushin shot a glare up to the roof, so Neko was bouncing from helping to damning the Angel tonight. Sighing, Kaku looked back to Rurushu, properly looking at him for once. Realizing he was staring, the Angel tried to shake off the glow to his face, standing up to look somewhere else.

Ru was at a loss on why things turned so differently all of a sudden, one moment Kaku was strangling him, and now he couldn't even face him. Not something he had ever experienced before. But he couldn't help but chuckle at the way Kaku was acting, it was so strange to see the once, 'proper' Guardian blush a bright shade of red, and seem to lose his words. Ru took a glance towards the cat, and for once, didn't hate the words coming out of his mouth... Ru could have some fun with this. Taking a step towards Kaku, in a hope to draw back his undivided attention, Ru began his fun... Maybe the game of wits was now a little unfair and he was playing against the rules... But what Outlaw followed the rules in the first place? "Really? Care to tell me exactly what you just realised, Kaku?"

Hearing Rurushu speak his nickname again gave Kakushin chills. This was a real problem. Rurushu knew something was up, and was about to play around with Kaku to try and get to him. That Demon, Kakushin wanted to smile as Ru got up, a mocking voice coming from Kakushin's back. The Angel shivered again, his body instinctively doing so. Kakushin hugged his sides, still staring at the opposite wall to hid his obviously embarrassed face. "N-nothing, it's nothing." The Angel lied, shaking his head. Neko continuously giggled from the roof, and Kakushin wanted the blast that little cat's behind just to get some quiet. Kakushin could hear the demon get up, glancing back quickly. These feelings were not welcome, looking at the Demon only brought them back again. Maybe this was like with Itamu, but Kaku refused to believe he'd fall that easily for the likes of an Outlaw. Hell, they were fighting not two minutes ago, so why was this happening now? The Angel mentally kicked himself, mouth sealed shut as he refused to give anything more away.

Ru at this point completely forgot that Neko was still around, he only had his site on the embarrassed Guardian... Taking the last few steps towards Kaku, Ru found himself plastered to his back, moving his lips to Kaku's ear once again, he knew that tonight he could possibly make the Guardian come undone. "Doesn't seem like nothing, Kaku. Besides, im going nowhere until I know the truth." Rurushu wasn't sure what was compelling him to do, or say, such things. But he knew whatever it was, didn't want him to stop... He found too much joy in making this Guardian squirm, and wanted the moment to last for as long as possible, as he was always drawn to this Angel, and be damned if he knew why.

Shivers turned to full body break downs as Kaku felt someone very close behind. He felt Rurushu's lips near his ear once more, although unlike last time, Kakushin actually cared that the Demon was so close to him. The Angel was at breaking point, and Kaku stood with his arms tightening around his stomach, eyes clenched shut. Rurushu refused to drop it, like Kakushin actually believed that he would, and the Angel wasn't left with many options. "P-please..." Kakushin muttered, before jumping forwards and against the wall, glaring up at Rurushu. He tried to put a serious face on, but the glare turned into some sort of sad plea. Damn it, Kakushin could no long look at this person in an angry way, not matter how much the Outlaw wanted to break Kakushin tonight. "Just drop it... R-Ruru, there's nothing else to say." Kaku didn't know how much more of this he could take. He'd proven himself the better fighter, and his level of power meant that Kakushin was a hard man to defeat. But this wasn't any normal fight, even Kakushin the Guardian of Peace didn't know how to settle things here, since he'd little idea what was going on inside of him to begin with.

Rurushu found the breaking down Guardian absolutely thrilling, and nothing would stop him from finding out the truth on why he was acting in such a way, though, he was beginning to have a good reason why, piecing it all together, and Ru had to admit... He didn't actually mind. Taking the walk over to Kaku once again, shielding him in with his arms next to his shoulders against the wall, Ru gave him a predatory grin. Making sure his breath mixed in with Kaku's, Ru spoke. "But there is so much more to say. I want to know what you just realised... It has you all shaken up, and we cant have that, Kaku. That's my job."

Kakushin wondered if, given a few more days, he would have been like this with Itamu. The man died before Kakushin could say anything about how he felt. Out of all of the feelings of loss and hatred, Kaku felt bad for never being able to admit it all to the Angel that died for him. He'd confessed in front of shrines and the like before, but it was never the same. Many, many things were different in the situation he was currently in, but thinking about it, there were some things that were the same. Kaku wasn't given the opportunity to think on it anymore, things began to progress rapidly before him. The pair had flipped, Kakushin was the one against the wall, trapped on both sides by Rurushu's arms. The Angel was way passed his cool to not react to the closeness. The small space of air between them heated up as Rurushu spoke again, and Kakushin had no where to look other than straight at the Outlaw. Kakushin swallowed the hot air. "I..." He muttered, before stopping himself. His stomach was moving at a rapid rate, along with pretty much every emotion and feeling inside of Kakushin. He wanted to run, run away from this situation and put it off again and again like he had with Itamu. But then, in doing so, Kakushin would never be able to admit his feelings. He'd lived his life hiding emotions from others, even those so close to him. He couldn't keep doing that, living in silence and regret. Kakushin wanted to run, but he also wanted to stay even more. One last look into Rurushu's eyes, and Kaku was set on his decision, sudden as it might be. Pushing himself up and off the wall, Kakushin placed his lips on Rurushu's. There would be no hiding his feelings anymore.

Ru smiled into the kiss, when he walked over here, and put the pieces together, he knew this was the most obvious outcome, and yet he did not care. He did not care for what the Outlaws may think, he did not care they were sworn enemies set out to kill one another, and he did not care that he would forever be damned to a life of lies within the rebellion. All he cared for was the Guardian pressing his lips, willingly, to his own. Closing his eyes he let the lock carry on for a few moments before pulling away. There would be plenty of time for that later on. Pressing his head against Kaku's, Ru attempted to make his breathing and heart rate return to normal. This was a totally new feeling inside of himself, one he could not place, but brought a warmth, no other could give. Ru smiled a true smile, and took a breath. "I hope you understand that getting out of this thing between us... Is a lot harder then getting in." Ru wasn't willing to say much more, nor was he able to find the words he wanted to say, but he hoped Kaku would understand the hidden meaning, and what he truly wished he could speak.

Going into it, Kakushin knew he was going to be in trouble later. But all those worries were far behind him when he felt Rurushu kiss back. It was a relief, to know things weren't one sided. And it felt great, if anything resembling doubt was in Kaku, it was wiped away now. He wasn't able to think about anything else during those few seconds, only joy he'd not felt in a long time. Feelings were followed, and Kakushin finally understood what it was like to actually follow them, instead of waiting for too long. He didn't want it to stop, but at least they were still close together. Rurushu took the news well, all of that teasing previously and the Demon was just as determined as Kaku to express how he felt. The Angel was able to smile again, perhaps that was Ru's plan all along. Kaku closed his eyes, breathing gently as he listened to Rurushu breath as well, pushing softly on his head. Kaku lifted his eyes, smiling slightly, "Maybe, but why would I every want to get out of this?" He said simply, neither of them spoke much. There wasn't much to say that wasn't already expressed. Kakushin didn't want to think about what it would mean to be something like this with a Demon, or even an Outlaw. But Kakushin didn't care, he didn't care his fellow Angel's opinion before, and surely wouldn't now. Previous decisions didn't matter anymore, the only thing that did was what was happening now, with Rurushu.

Ru was glad that Kaku didn't want to get out of whatever had come to pass between them, but there was that nagging feeling in the back of his mind on what would happen to both himself and more importantly Kaku if anyone found out. He didn't want him to get hurt, but the more selfish side of him never wanted to let go. It was an inner conflict that had its answer already decided. Things would be far too secret when acting upon this relationship, but Ru couldn't bring himself to care, he was far too happy, for the first time in his Demon life to give such a joy up. And yet he still felt the need to warn Kaku of what might be if he planned on truly being together. "Im happy, ever so happy. But I am still an Outlaw, and you are still a Guardian... Are you sure you truly want our lives to interweave in such a way? I do not want to see you get hurt." The thought of loosing Kaku alone was enough to put Ru out of his happy mood and drop his eyes, he did not wish to ask such a thing... To give him the chance to truly walk away, but Ru also didn't want to risk the chance of being broken in the end, to find Kaku walk away later on because of the differences, because he was risking pain beyond belief..

So they would live on the edge of destruction and pure happiness. Kaku didn't care, he'd not lived his life with caution anyway, so this was no different. The Angel smiled, his heart was set, and in Rurushu's eyes, he could see the same resolve. But something caught in his Demon, and Kakushin frowned. So, it seemed this tough Demon was worried. Kakushin smiled softly throughout Rurushu's words of concern, his fear of where their separate paths might lead them. Kakushin shook his head gently, wanted to respond, but he didn't know what to say. So instead, Kakushin started with another, determined kiss. Once he pulled back, the Angel grinned. "I told you already, I didn't plan on getting out of this, and by Aura I'm gonna try and stay. Say whatever warning you want, Ruru, it's all worth it to stick around." Kakushin didn't want Rurushu to get hurt either, he'd had enough heartache for one life, and felt like he deserved some kindness for once. And also, Kakushin didn't want Rurushu to miss out on something special like this, from what brought the Demon down earlier, Ru needed someone to care. He sighed again, bringing his breath back down calmly. Sure, this would be tough, but Kakushin felt it was worth the risks- all of them.

Ru was quick to respond to the second kiss, something he figured he would never get use to. But it did manage to make his worries go away, sure things would be tough, especially with the two different paths, but Ru now knew that they would be okay. Kaku was tough and wouldn't allow himself to get hurt easily, nor would Ru let him get hurt. "Glad to hear it. And regardless on what you said... I don't think I would have let you go." And Ru truly believed those words, he was happy, and if Kaku did decided just then that they couldn't be... Ru wouldn't have been able to let him leave, even if his life was on the line. Ru took a deep breath in, something seemed lighter in the air, and he began to remember where they were and that a certain feline was still about... He gave a slight, barely noticeable blush over the fact that Neko had probably been watching them. But for once he couldn't bring himself to care about what the cat was doing. "So you truly want to make this work? Because so do I."

Sly little Rurushu, so he'd given no choice really in warning Kakushin. He wanted him, and according to his own words, wouldn't have let Kaku go no matter the response. Kaku giggled, leaning on Rurushu's head, listening to them both breath. "Funny, you're the one so concerned, and yet who won our little fight earlier?" Kakushin responded softly, whispering the words. Rurushu made the official question, and Kakushin looked straight into his eyes. "Yes, I don't want to live any longer hiding away from things I've realized, people I realized I care for. You could Outlawed for killing a hundred people and I'd still stay around." Kakushin said. He didn't judge his Demon for the past, or the fact that this Rebellion was such a major issue. Kakushin wasn't going to be with Rurushu, second in charge of the Outlaws, he was with just Rurushu. Kaku smiled, closing his eyes as if he could just fall asleep. "Hey! Lovebirds!" Came a voice, it made Kakushin frown. "I'd just like to say you're making an excellent show, I've not seen entertainment this good for many years!" Kakushin smiled, but inside he was livid. "Dammit Neko, I'm gonna kill that cat, he's got nine lives, he can handle losing one or two right?"

It was hard to believe they were fighting not too long ago, but then again Ru technically was asking for it so he couldn't complain. Taking another deep breath, he closed his eyes and let a happy tear fall. It was strange to be accepted for all that he was, the bad and what he believes could be the good, it gave him a warm feeling inside that he knew wouldn't go away for a long, long time. "And it looks like I have another to add to the list of people I care for, who's managed to boost his way to the top." Ru took a moment to study Kaku's face before groaning. Scratch what he said earlier about not caring about the cat, he was going to murder him. But he still toppled his head back and laughed when Kaku spoke, it was nice to know he wasn't the only one annoyed with the loss of the moment. "When I get a hold of him, he's going to wish it was you taking away one of his lives." Giving Kaku a small smile to show he didn't truly, a hundred per cent mean what he said, Ru sent a glare at Neko. Only if looks could kill.

"And you've been added to my list of people I refuse to lose. It's a little empty right now, since a certain cat just found his way off the list." Kakushin replied, smiling as he lent back against the wall. He laughed too when Rurushu seemed affected by the devil cat behind them, ruining their peaceful moment. It was a nice change, Kakushin could have stayed in their moment forever, but this would be fun too. Kaku honestly didn't care if Ru was joking about killing Neko or not, Kakushin was honestly considering it himself. Kaku moved forward to wrap an arm around Rurushu as they both looked up to the annoying little intruder. Kaku glared at his friend, but in response, Neko just smiled, raising an eye as if trying to tempt Kakushin to do his worst. "Well, he has plenty of lives left, two little ones wouldn't go amiss." Kakushin muttered to Rurushu, knowing Neko's ears weren't the best in felines. "Don't stop because of me guys, I've been here the whole time!" Neko continued to call, although he braced his little cat legs as if ready to run.
