Chester just looked towards Akvan. She could guess what he was going through, a lot of the worlds deaths did consist of one dying from an disease after all, but it was a way of life, and if he didn't control such a power... Then somebody else would. "Im sure you'll figure it out, all you need is a little faith. Like I said, your strong. Just knowing that you dislike what your doing and are trying to control it better is prove of that." Chester took a glance in the direction they were headed, she forgot all about the river, though it was a place she often hung around. She realised she didn't exactly want to get wet when attempting to cross it, despite the rocks that acted as a light bridge to the other side. So when Akvan asked if she wanted a lift, it was difficult to keep the happiness off her face. "I would love one thanks." She wanted to say more over the fact he would pollute it, but wasn't sure what to say in the first place. Even if he could handle his powers, even she knows that restraint would only go so far. It was not a thought she was happy to have, but dealed with it none the less.

Akvan hated water anyway, and he could wash himself as many time as he liked and still have the same smell. So the Demon tended to avoid contact with water, since his skin was more or less coated in toxins and bacteria. Although Humans could sometimes avoid absorbing some of that infectious coat, water was a lot more absorbent to the sickly skin on the God. Though Chester didn't seem to mind, to her the idea of a lift was enough to make her face light up. Akvan chuckled, nodding as he moved to support her. It was probably the closest Akvan had been to someone, since the hug earlier. He felt a slight blush as he glanced to Chester's face so close to his, but soon pushed his concentration towards flying. His wings were almost completely healed from Itami's attack, the Goddess had healed a lot of the damage herself, but a few scars remained. Akvan cleared his throat, "R-right, you'd better hold on." He asked with a slight smile. A strong beat of his wings, and Akvan slowly lifted them into the air. It was a slow journey over, since Akvan wasn't the biggest Demon in the world, and his wings were just below the average size. But he could keep them in the air and away from the chilly water for the short journey. As soon as the crispy, pebble sides were under hi feet, Akvan dropped his wings down, making sure he landed before Chester, so that the girl didn't get too much of the impact. Akvan stretched his wings out, "Ever flown before?" He asked, as a simple continuation of conversation.

Chester linked her arms around Akvan and did as he asked, burying her face into his shoulder to hide the blush, she made sure to have a firm grip. She didn't watch as they flew up, and the trip though was a reasonable amount of time, went way too quick for her liking. She was pleased when her feet touched the ground, she hadn't ever been flying before, which was amusing since she lived with so many who could. Though she enjoyed the trip, probably more due to Akvan then anything, she much preferred the solid ground below. The only time she ever allowed herself to go such heights was when using her magic, but at that point, she was the one controlling it, and if anything happened to her it would have been her fault rather than another's. "Depends on what you consider flying. Like that no, not even close. But my magic allows me to jump and soar through the air for a short amount of time. But I much preferred your flight." It wasn't until she finished speaking that she realised she had yet to let go... And that she could have easily jumped over the river, and admitted it out loud. But even with those thoughts... She couldn't find it in herself to release her hold.

Akvan moved his wings in front to check them. He must have been the most cautious Demon there was in terms of looking after his wings. They were always being scratched and damaged, so it was a good thing they were darkness wings and not Angel wings, since the latter didn't heal as well. The Demon chuckled, hands by his side as Chester linked around his neck, refusing to let go. It was, sweet, and Akvan didn't feel that too often. But they needed to keep moving, so Akvan had to slowly prize Chester from around him. "That's a nice magic, but I suppose winged flight is safer." Akvan wanted to think of a logical reason to prefer a Demon assisted flight than just because Chester like being close to him, since that thought made Akvan go red. The Demon smiled, looking at the rocky road ahead. "Should be right ahead yeah?"

Chester reluctantly let go of Akvan and held a slight blush "Honestly not exactly, your wings can be ripped rendering you flightless or struggling to fly, with my magic jump, I can control the speed and how far I go, but is just as prone to problems... So they are pretty equal in safeness." She gave a huge smile towards Akvan and took his hand once again before walking on. "Sure thing, its not too bad a walk up the mountain at first, but the higher we get the less of an actual path there is." She slightly shuddered at the walk ahead, she had only done it once before, and though she had fun doing so... She was so worn out afterwards it took Rurushu to get her down again. "Hey, after today... When do you think I could see you again?"

This magic sounded complicated. But Chester wasn't wrong either. Demon wings were supposedly less safe than Angels, because they were made of magic and not natural, and so more delicate. Akvan followed behind Chester, smile on his face as their hands linked again. Akvan was used to moving around enough to not care too much for the climb. But he could see some anticipation on Chester's face. It would be a tough climb, for someone walking bare foot and recently trapped on spider webs for hours. But Akvan was here, and his wings were their ticket down if Chester was too tired. Akvan was so caught up in the moment he was having now that he'd not thought of actually leaving Chester's side. But he did have a duty, even if he loathed it. Akvan thought, he blushed a little with the idea that Chester wanted to see him again. "Whenever, I don't visit Dranar often. It's, too strange there, and I'm probably the only Demon that doesn't see Dranar as a home. So I'll be in Sohul all of the time. There's no schedule... but I do move around a lot." Akvan bit his lip, thinking of a place he could actually meet up with Chester. "The hospital. The southern hospital in Sora. I visit it often to watch the ill, you know... try to make up for what I do to them by simply watching. But I'm there almost every night, if not there then any place housing the sick." Akvan stated.

Chester looked towards Akvan and smiled. "It looks like I will very soon be planning a trip into Sora." Chester began to climb the mountain, feet straining at the effort from being bare, this was not a climb that should be done in such a fashion. "I wont be able to visit Sora too often, traveling there can be a nuisance half the time. But if you do ever wish to talk or hang or whatever. You can usually find me around that area of the Rycora forest." Her eyes were shining bright. She was already working out when she could visit Sora, Outlaw meetings took up the majority of her time, but if need be, she could convince her brother to get her time away. "And again Akvan, your only doing your job.. None can blame you for that, no matter how much they want to. Okay? Your such a sweet and loving Demon, and your perfectly yourself."

Sora was the place between good and bad for Akvan. It was large, full of wealthy people with the ability to look out for themselves. Unlike Minato it wasn't full of contamination and disease, but what peace Akvan could find in Sora, he was also easier to find. The multistory roads and buildings meant it was hard to hide in Sora, and so Akvan was easily harassed by Itami or his brothers, the latter was much preferred. Akvan smiled, he liked the idea of meeting up with Chester more. Who knew, maybe she could help counsel him whilst he sat watching the dying in the hospital, make Akvan feel a little better about it. "Rycora is a good place too. If a little big, but the fact that it's almost all forest means I don't have to worry about being around too long." Akvan stated. Rycora was a nice place. Akvan tended to stay away from the main town in the forest, since infections there were the worst to try and treat, but the forests offered the God time to think, most often alone. Akvan watched their footing up the rocky path, trying to scatter any sharp rocks or debris from Chester's bare footed path. He sighed, "It's hard to believe that when the result of your job is lying right before you, in a bed surrounded by family who wonder what could their child or parent possibly have done to deserve such a fate. But thank you, sometimes I feel as though I should have been an Angel, just hearing all these things about being kind from you and Gensho... makes me wonder if I was actually reborn a Demon, or did something go wrong along the way."

Chester knew her feet would be sore for days to come, but just being able to help Akvan made it all worth it in the end. Though she slowed down their climb at a level spot when she heard those things from Akvan. "Does it matter if your Demon or Angel? You can do good as whoever you are. The fact you were born as a Demon doesn't change who you are inside." Chester grabbed one of his hands before placing it over her heart, while she placed one of her own over his. "This defies who you are... Not what you are, just like it does for all. The fact alone, that you care for those you don't even know, that you hate to hurt people even if you have to... So you may be a Demon, but you have the heart of an Angel, a heart of purity and kindness." Chester gave him a warm smile before giving him another hug and burying her head into his shoulder. "In my mind, you are one."

Demons were the once condemned, made to live as beings with a natural sense of chaos and destruction. True, current day Demons were the kindest Demons ever to live, but it didn't mean that they were entirely good. Every Demon felt a sense of pride when causing suffering or chaos. Akvan himself felt some sense of 'fun' when creating new diseases, even if he felt awful later for ever feeling happy about doing so. But that was it, everything else a Demon should feel was absent in Akvan. But he listened to Chester's every word, wanting to actually be convinced for once, rather than reject others in self-hated. Akvan froze during the hug. A heart of an Angel, no. Akvan didn't deserve something so pure, but someone close to him did. "This should be flipped around," Akvan muttered, "You deserve to be an Angel, Chester. Not me. You see the good in darkness, what better pure heart is there. All I see is pitch black darkness. But with you around... it's like, I can accept that all I can see is the dark in everything, so long as I can be guided by the kind people like you."

Chester couldn't tell if she wished to cry out of happiness or sadness. It was sweet what he told her, and it warmed her heart. But Chester was far from deserving. She was an Angel hunter, by her family's request, she was lying to Akvan about things. She was the only human member of the Outlaw Rebellion, that's planning to destroy so much, and yet she tells no one. Chester did not deserve such kindness. "You do though." Chester looked right into Akvan's eyes as she spoke, not wanting him to miss a thing she was saying. "You deserve to be an Angel. You have a pure heart. You don't meet many like you, ones who hate to hurt, hate to kill. The Demons I've met are all for chaos and destruction, they enjoy watching people suffer, and not just as its a way of the world. But you... Your not like that. You say I see the good in darkness, that may be true... But you Akvan... You make the darkness good. You show that even when you have such power, such a duty that many may hate you for... You don't abuse it, if anything you try to use it as little as possible, try to help. Your pure Akvan, I cant say that about many."

Seeing darkness as good, not something many Humans thought. But perhaps that was what made Chester better than others, kinder and more open-minded. If Akvan was good, then why did he never refuse the job? He had, at first. It took convincing from Mo to get Akvan to agree to the role. The Demon King seemed to see some quality in Akvan that was fit for role as God of Disease, no explanation, and Akvan himself couldn't even see what Mo saw in him. If Akvan was indeed good, then why didn't he try harder to cure others? The power was his, he could control the diseases and stop them from infecting anyone. In one day, Akvan could destroy the world, but in one day he could also cure it. So why didn't he? Surly someone pure, someone with the heart and soul that Chester so dearly described would feel inclined to stop Sohul's suffering. And yet Akvan didn't, he just cowered away, refusing to accept the blame he knew he deserved. Akvan sighed, he couldn't express this to Chester. Not after she'd worked so hard, tried to make him feel so much better. So the Demon put on a smile, nodding to Chester before taking the lead. They weren't far now, Akvan was starting to see landmarks that he'd spotted around his sword. The God stopped to take a deep breath, closing his eyes. "It's not far from here." Akvan stated, letting go of Chester's warm hand to rush forwards and up to a clearing. He smiled at what he saw. The sword was embedded into the gravel ground, no damage done to the surroundings at all. Akvan slowly walked up to the sword. As soon as he pulled it up, it began glowing a sickly green. Akvan sheathed the blade before it could pollute the air with its strong magic. Sighing with relief, Akvan turned to face Chester, smiling with a grateful expression.

Chester wasn't fooled by his smile, she could tell there was more to this than she thought, but she didn't push. She would find out eventually, from Akvan or one of his friends, but she hoped it was from the former. Chester watched as Akvan rushed forth, and she knew this meeting was coming to an end, though they would meet again she couldn't help but feel a slight sadness of leaving him. But she followed on and got a slight glance of his sword they were on the hunt for. Before it was sheathed in a hope to conceal the power it possessed. "Glad to see it wasn't broken. And it didn't kill anyone like you feared." Chester gave him a smile, though she knew it was a bit shaky, who knew when she would see him again after this. "So then... What now?"

Akvan place a hand over the sword, chuckling when Chester spoke. True, it hadn't killed anyone or done any damage. Akvan was far enough away for the sword not to pollute anything as well. "Demon swords don't break, at least not without magic involved. I suppose that was why Onrah threw it, you know, under all of that alcohol he must have been at least thinking a little." Akvan replied, smiling. The Demon looked at the ground, feet shuffling as he though. "Well, we've planned to meet up again. A-and I'd like too, since I don't get to talk to such kind people very often. Umm..." Akvan moved closer to Chester, hesitating before giving her a hug from him. It was a little weird, Akvan wasn't used to receiving or giving out hugs. "I'll be in Sora, or maybe Baranus, I can usually find people easily with my powers, so if you're around the area I should be able to find you if I concentrate. I'll stick to Sora for now." Akvan closed his eyes into the hug before moving back and away, wings stretching to warm up. "I'll, uh, promise to see you again, don't worry. So, I'll see you then. Thanks Chester, for... everything. I would have broken the webs either way, but I'm glad I decided to for you." Akvan smiled through the slight blush, before beating his wings to take off into the Sohul skies.
