Akvan's hand seemed to move like a motor, just automatic in how he tried to write the same words over and over. He was eventually stopped, those around to support him did their job. He felt his head being so slowly moved onto a softer blanket, with someone close to it. Then Zuura took a hold of his shaking hand, to stop it from writing anymore heart-breaking pleas. They all spoke to him, making Akvan's wheezing quiet down as he tried to listen. It felt hard to listen to his sister's talk, and still think he wanted... needed to die now. They looked up to him still, still wanted to believe that Akvan wasn't going down as easily as this. He wished he could make sure they were true, but none of them could understand what kind of hell it was to even breath right now. As selfish as Akvan felt for thinking so, he wanted out of this hell now. Zuura spoke as well, his chirpy voice so obvious even to Akvan's dying ears, and mentioned some things that got the dead man's interest all right. He couldn't focus on them properly, but his red glazed eye did move to look at Hada for a moment. He sought out from his mind what kind of moron would ever try to 'woo' his little sister, almost reaching the point of being amused by it. But the distractions all dissolved into nothing. The first snap, vibrating down into his open chest and causing an orchestra of pain. Akvan arm wanted to clench up and move around in panic, but Zuura's hold on it was very firm. So all Akvan could do was gasp at every snap, voice constantly whimpering from the pain caused. He no longer knew, or cared if it was a pain for good or bad results anymore. Once over though, Akvan's breathing returned to as normal as it could be. "B...b..better h...hurry." Akvan stated, once again the alien voice taking over to deliver more fear to his loved ones.

Later, Chester knew she would regret the offer made to get the blood, money, not even coming into play for this exchange. She should have known the offer wouldn't have been a good one, considering how easy it was to walk into the Humans domain, without anyone averting their attacks to her... In fact, the place was empty save for one, the man she had to talk to, the offer that taboo, enough that even his own kind could not hear of it. What a twisted man he was. But, she wouldn't dwell on such a thing just yet, first she needed to get back to her husband, time was of the essence, and she wasted enough deciding if the offer would be worth it, or if Akvan would later hate her for accepting. But, he was worth it, she loved him, and she wouldn't lose him like this, not when she was able to help. Rushing back to the arch, blood bags safely in her arms, Chester never had used her wings so fast before, it was mere minuets before Akvan's time was up, and she refused to let him leave without at least taking them with him. "I GOT BLOOD..." Chester didn't give the others times to digest the information as she stumbled and fell next to Akvan, hooking up the first bag and making sure he had the rest on him. She knew there wouldn't be enough time to give him them all straight to the system, but at least she knew he wouldn't be on the verge of death anymore. Moving the hair out of his face carefully, Chester leant down to give Akvan a small kiss and to look him in the eyes. "I love you, please don't go and die in there, I cant live without you."

The voice meant nothing to Akvan now. He'd asked and asked them to let him die, and yet everyone continued to try and help him. Heal damage that just couldn't be recovered like that. Akvan might be able to feel the ease of breathing, but it was still under a lot of support from Shinda. Akvan could feel it in his very mind, how everything from his heart to brain was currently being woven together by the Oblivia magic alone. Once that dropped, Akvan would fall into a fit, and die shortly after. It was a predictable end to the suffering, but Akvan just felt bad that no-one had given him peace before then. They'd watch the last of their hope die in their arms, after trying so hard to save Akvan. He wished he could have warned them, but it really was too late. Without blood or energy, Akvan would die and leave everyone so crushed. It was hard to cope with all the pain, and all the mental destruction going on as Akvan himself counted down. They wouldn't make it. Despite clearing his lungs out, and fixing his heart, Akvan still felt Oblivia guide every breath and every beat of his heart. He'd drop like a puppet the moment the strings were cut, he just knew it. But then someone dropped next to him, Akvan mentally shocked by the sudden entrance. Chester, she really was here, not running away this time. Akvan wished he could smile, or say something. But all that came out was noise and wheezing, the Sun child feeling something warm as well. It hardly felt like anything yet, the blood entering Akvan's system, but he felt a little relieved to feel it. His wife, the amazing woman she was still tried to save him, even after seeing this horrible state Akvan was in. His hope might be dead, but hers wasn't, not yet. For a while, Akvan just stared up at her, the others working on what was needed on his back, but Akvan completely distracted by watching Chester. He remained like that for a while, feeling warmer and warmer as the pints of blood lost were finally replaced. It almost got Akvan hopeful in their success, wondering if Shinda's silence showed that as well. But Akvan should have never considered Shinda's silence as a good thing. His eyes were already forced opened, but they widened even more suddenly, as it felt like something was ripping through them from the inside. All around Akvan, he felt internal strings being pulled and retracted. His back and legs couldn't move, but the rest of Akvan went into a fit. Dragging out of his eye, red mist began to force it's way out. As the Oblivia magic was sucked out of him, Akvan felt more and more of his body go into shock, uncontrollable shock. The support his body was given to remain alive left, and even with his lungs and heart fixed, and blood levels being restored, it just couldn't cope. All the panicking movements Akvan made probably made things worse, but he had no control anymore, it was a last burst of energy before he suddenly dropped, motionless. His eyes remained open, no longer glazed in red, but no longer showing any life either.

Note: All my characters in this thread are NPC in this reply. Tenshi, Nanari, Labari, Chester.
The spasm attack should have been expected, the shock on his body as they watched the oblivia be removed, but the sheer effect of it wasn't. Akvan dropping lifeless wasn't what they believed to have happened, and while they should have been glad that Shinda hadn't dragged him back in, they could only feel anger to Shinda for lying, if he didn't, they would have been able to do more at a better job. "Damn you Shinda..." Tenshi was furious that she believed what he said, as she looked over the wounds, doing what she could while she knew he would be watching in laugher the things happening. "Akvan, come on brother, don't do this to us... Not now." Labari was a little more clam, shaking Akvan to try and get him to respond, hand flying in front of his face to see if he followed it, to no avail. Nanari was silent for the most part, body shaking and eyes shut as she calmed herself down from the shock, it should have been okay, what they did should have kept him alive, especially as Chester got blood for him. "Its all a dream, nothing but a sick and twisted dream..." Chester was silent at first, body shaking from the shock as she checked to see if he was breathing, everyone else blocked out and only Akvan could be seen, it wasn't long for the dam to break, as tears poured out her eyes, leaning on the floor next to him, face in her hands shaking as she smoothed them over his cheeks. "You promised... YOU PROMISED TO LIVE FOR ME. DONT DO THIS AKVAN... I CANT DO IT AGAIN, I LOVE YOU, PLEASE, PLEASE. DONT LEAVE ME BEHIND AGAIN, OH GOD PLEASE..." Chester shuffled back from whoever it was that tried to comfort her, pressing closer to Akvan to cry into his shoulder. He promised...

Akvan didn't think death would be so quick. One moment he was in nothing but pain, until it seemed to reach too much and burst, causing everything to just melt around him. all he heard were the last, muffled voices of everyone around him. All of them, his sisters, Tenshi and Nanari, and then Chester. She begged for him to live, he thought, but it was the last thing he heard and thought on. He'd promised, hadn't he? Akvan could only just now recall the promise to live he'd made, now that he was void of pain. And Akvan could only regret breaking it for a split second, before death came like a relief. All that pain, worrying and suffering washed away, and Akvan's mind slowly faded out. But, with a flicker of it left, something stirred. Akvan's rolling into death came to a stop. The mist around his eyes that had escaped also froze, before suddenly darting back into him, far faster than it had come out. The magic jumped back inside of Akvan, and with it, everything lit back up all at once. Akvan's chest was forced to rise, no matter how much his lungs could handle, and his heart danced violently. Akvan's mind was forced back into life, and of course, all the sudden changes made him burn all over with fresh pains. How violently he'd been forced back into living from the re-entry of Oblivia magic made Akvan start coughing blood again, heaving as he struggled to cope with whatever just happened. His body went into another fit, his one good arm just digging around at the ground for some grip. Akvan couldn't catch his breath properly, not that it would stop him from dying again. And whilst he could hardly breath, words were forced out of him. Akvan laughed, and his voice sounded so painful, "J... just k..k..kid....ding!" The voice began, before making Akvan laugh again, forcing his voice in a way that damaged it even more. "W...wouldn't b....break m...my n..n..new toy n..now wou...would I?" It continued, Akvan gasped at a breath, "B....bring him back t...to to m...me i...in a...a w...week.... or el...else." The voice stopped, leaving everyone in silence and shock, whilst Akvan still wheezed in pain. He was a lot more spirited this time around, unable to lie still and accept what operations were going on around him, trying to drag himself forward with that one arm that still worked.

Tenshi almost let herself break down, that being until Shinda sent the magic back inside Akvan's body. Growling, not about the fact that Shinda has allowed them more time, because that she was overjoyed for, she can have Akvan mostly patched up in that week. But she growled over the fact this was all so typical for him to do, how she didn't see through his lie in the first place and let herself be caught in this trap, after so long making sure she could recognise these things, he just had to fuck over her mind. "ONCE I GET MY HANDS ON YOU SHINDA... I SWEAR." Tenshi wanted nothing more then to go in with Akvan next time around, to finish what was started all those years ago... If she never let him escape for Sayo's sake, even after everything, then this may never of happened, any of it. Shaking her head, Tenshi looked to the others and took a breath. "We have a week now, lets get him back to the house... Akvan, no trying to run." Tenshi leant down to place a hand on his leg as he tried moving. "Fix what we can, focus on his breathing and heart... I'm going to need all your help getting him back... Its going to be no easy trip..." It wouldn't be, not with trying to move him without aggravating his wounds, and that means no flying, and carrying him back to avoid bumps in the trip. At least they had the chance to really save him now. "No more panic and tears... We need to be strong right now."

Post by Hada on Dec 15, 2015 23:21:30 GMT
Seeing her brother die before her eyes was something Hada never wanted to see. And then being tricked like a fool when he was suddenly brought back made Hada feel even worse. Her tears dried from the surprise of seeing Akvan suddenly splutter for breath, and the voice that took over once again. It forced her brother to talk when he couldn't, and that made Hada furious, as furious as knowing all of their worries had been for nothing earlier. Shinda had gotten what he wanted. Exhaustion and broken hope for all of them. It didn't matter that now that Akvan was allowed to live he'd be spared and healed, with a week to do so, everyone had that moment of despair, which made their host happy. Hada could almost hear the creep chuckling in the breeze, before focusing on her brother. Tenshi gave the instructions, and Hada nodded. The piece of armour around his neck stayed where it was, it would keep Akvan's head from lashing around or dropping as he was carried. Beyond just carrying him without causing more damage, there was also the new issue of how resistant Hada's brother was being. Getting close to him and he would lash out with an arm, surprisingly strong considering all the damage to his body. Hada turned around to look at the little camp set up. She pulled Zuura and Labari with her towards a flat bed, dragging it back over to the others. "We can put him on here, should be easier to lift. Those not lifting should probably stop him from going crazy on us." Hada suggested, grabbing a hold of Akvan's arm as it tried to drag him up. She cleared the last of her sad emotions, agreeing with how Tenshi thought the situation should be. "That bastard wants us to be weak, so I say be the opposite, be as stubborn as this flailing idiot is right now." Hada replied, getting ready to carefully move Akvan over onto the bed.

Post by Nanari on Dec 16, 2015 22:42:04 GMT
Nanari knew she blanked out for a while once Akvan died, mind shutting down in despair over the fact she failed to save him, failed to save family. It wasn't the normal blank out though, and for that she was grateful, this time it was like a ringing in her ears with people talking and moving, like part of her knew. It wasn't until Hada moved did the ringing stop, and everyone's voices become clearer as Nanari listened to what was going on. Standing on shaky legs, Nanari looked down to Akvan, running her fingers through his hair, knowing she would have no strength to lift the bed, while the others worked, whispering words of comfort and hope to him in mantra, anything to keep his mind occupied and sane. "Come one, you cant leave us now, not while we have an even bigger chance." Once on the bed, Nanari began moving forward, so that she could get a head start on preparation back home ready for the long hours of healing, but as she reached the forest edge, she heard voices. Looking back to the others, Nanari gave a look of concern. "Voices, don't know who they belong to..." It was better safe then sorry, if they happened to be hunters searching the deeper parts of the area.

Post by Gensho Night on Dec 16, 2015 23:20:11 GMT
Gensho had to be dragged from where he'd collapsed. Before he'd even woken up properly. Yume had grabbed onto the Demon's shirt and dragged him straight out of the room. Gensho could only glimpse at the mess he'd made before being forced out. But that glimpse was enough. That room used to hold Akvan's soul, such a large and inspiring structure that Gensho looked at and thought of the letter Onrah left them. How he'd said Akvan had a bigger soul than he thought he did. And there it was, destroyed until nothing but clear crystals remained, empty of all soul. And Gensho remembered the memory, the blurry vision as he stabbed the golden crystal himself, broke it and devoured it without thinking.
Gensho couldn't stop his crying, thinking how he'd done such a thing to his brother, the one he'd promised never to hurt again, like Akvan promised to him. Even Yume couldn't stop Gensho's grief, though she tried. Gensho just imagined what Akvan was being put through. If he lived through having his soul stolen that was. Gensho decided to go straight to where the others were supposed to gather, following his acute sense of smell alone to get there. He didn't know what to do once he got there, Gensho was just praying to see his brother alive, shaken but not harmed. But no, it couldn't be further from what Gensho hoped. He and Yume caught the others just as they were carrying Akvan away. They had to carry his brother with such care, because Akvan's back had been torn open. It wasn't the only thing done, but alone was enough for Gensho to back up away from the group, head shaking from the living nightmare. Gensho couldn't get close, or make eye contact with anyone. He just lingered around, face gone pale as Gensho couldn't find one word to say to his tortured brother, or anyone for that matter. Silently, Gensho could only follow them all, forced to hear Akvan try to call out or cry in pain, whatever the distorted noises he made were for. He couldn't understand how Akvan was even still awake with all that was going on, which made Gensho at least do one thing. He glanced to Yume, eyes pleading to her. "Please... help him." Gensho mumbled to her, before his eyes returned to the ground.

Post by Yume on Dec 17, 2015 22:00:57 GMT
The second Yume woke up she hated how she let this happen because she was weak, how she couldn't do it, and while she hated that choice, she couldn't force herself to regret it. But she knew they needed out of this room, sooner the better, so Yume got up and grabbed Gensho, dragging him out, not caring for the looks anyone gave them as she dragged him some empty room to calm down. She did what she could to console him, despite her lack of skills in that department, but she did try, which was more then what anyone would ever get. She followed Gensho as he left, knowing and yet not knowing what he was doing... The sight he brought them too made her feel sick to her stomach, something she never thought she would say, but she refused to let it show, someone had to be strong and indifferent here... It was obvious no one else would be. She noticed how Gensho lingered back, this must of been the occupant of the soul, shaking her head, Yume swallowed her pride to give Gensho's hand a squeeze, before hardening her face and glaring to him, eyes softening as he asked her to help, Dropping her shoulders, Yume gave a light nod before stopping the group and holding a hand above Akvan's face, mumbling softly as his eyes drooped shut. "My magic will help him sleep peacefully tonight, no pain as you work, no waking to feel it. But this will be the only night, my magic only stretches so far within the mind, one this broken will push past any other peaceful sleep I try to give him while still doing my job." Yume kept a straight face during speaking, but if they listened closely one could hear the worry and care.
