As soon as the red magic went off in the basic direction of the Archway, Chester was off, ignoring both Nanari and Tenshi in favour to see what was going on. When her husband was dragged on through in his state, the others physically had to drag her away, and Chester's been on her guard ever since, trying to find what exactly happened, and in case he returned. It was unsettling, how quick Akvan was sent back, and she knew to expect the worse, like Shinda purposefully wanted to toy with them, which, he probably did... But no amount of mental preparation, would ever prepare Chester for the state she found him in, hung up to dry by the entrance, on his death bed. Chester froze where she was in the sky, she doubted Akvan even saw her, he must have definitely heard the gasp though. She could feel her self shaking, tears pouring down her face as she rushed to his side, fingers barely ghosting over his skin as she looked to his injuries, for his sake, ignoring the words carved onto his skin, before backing away in fear, feeling the Disease magic want to take hold. Shaking her head at the very thought of making things worse, Chester looked to Akvan with wide eyes. "Stay awake for me, I'll go get more help... I love you." Chester wanted nothing more then to stay and comfort, but if she did that, she couldn't bare to think of the consequences. Rushing back to find Tenshi and Nanari, let them know of the extent of his wounds, and in hope Tenshi will go on ahead while Chester brings over Nanari, she knew that while he was being worked on, Chester had to stay away, or let him get worse, because god knows she wont be able to control her emotions.

None of them had been able to move when Akvan was suddenly crippled with pain. In a few seconds he'd gone from standing, to knelling down in a ball of pain. And by the time anyone moved to help, he'd been whisked off. Hada couldn't understand, how his health could just plummet like that. Once he was gone, and everyone was left in confusion and panic, Labari had brought some sense to Hada. Both sisters knew their brother had his soul kept elsewhere than on his person, and as Labari suggested, something must have happened to it. Hada had summoned her Holy Armour, less effective without Joyeux, but still able to carry her up to Dranar to investigate herself. Hada didn't remain long there, long enough to see the empty room, the light of the Sun tear destroyed, and two who remained around it. Gensho and Yume, the first being the obvious culprit. And it hurt Hada a lot, Gensho was her brother as well, linked to the Human by Akvan, and to think someone so close to her cherished brother would hurt him like this. Hada knew, she hoped Gensho had no control over what he did, or else he'd get more than a few words from Hada later. But she wouldn't remain there now, Gensho and Yume were out of it, and Hada wanted to get back down to Sohul, tell the others what happened. She begun the descent when the sky around her flashed red, fireworks calling down from where the gateway was. Hada's gauntlets clenched, it was like Shinda was just celebrating what he'd done. Hada dreaded what kind of things the monster did to her brother, but knowing he'd taken Akvan only after the Sun child was incapacitated told Hada he wasn't going to play fair. As Hada got lower and lower, flying fast on her artificial wings, she spotted Chester running away from the portal, Hada replaced her. But the sight, Hada felt like she'd seen more decency in her years of being a slave. Nothing in all her life could compare to how damaged her brother was. And hidden by the helmet of her golden armour, Hada was already at the edge of tears. But she couldn't give into the shock. First was getting Akvan down, but Hada felt frozen on the spot. Touching him felt like Hada's brother might just shatter. And she didn't want to be the one to end him. It looked impossible for Akvan to even be alive right now anyway, but Hada wasn't going to question it, just be grateful that he'd not been lost yet. All sorts of things punctured his skin, though Hada seemed focused on the shards that seemed to reflect back at her. She then felt something slide, and hit her foot. Hada looked down to the object that had just been rolled out of the gateway, probably by Shinda himself. It was the hilt of her sword, Joyeux, that she'd given Akvan in hopes of keeping him safe. The hilt was missing the blade, and her realisation made Hada finally begin to quietly whimper. That one thing she gave to Akvan to help him, knowing she'd long been in his debt since he'd rescued her all those years ago, had been used to embed horrible words into his skin and impale Hada's brother. Hada's face was creased as she cried, flicking her hand to release the golden armour around herself and rush up to Akvan. He looked so harmed and pale that Hada had a hard time convincing herself he was still alive. The movement of his eyes was her only clue. "Oi..." Hada muttered, her voice failing her. She reached a hand to point towards his neck, summoning part of her golden armour around it, "You better stay alive, idiot, you hear?" Hada ordered, hoping her magic armour would at least support his neck, and perhaps heal the throat, since it was all Hada could do on her own, too terrified to look at the worst injury on Akvan's back.

Tenshi rushed off at the flash of red, admittedly not as quick as Chester, it was never a good sign something like that, and so soon after Akvan re entered too... God forbid whatever Shinda has done to him, because Tenshi would make him live through so much worse. She knew Nanari would be running on behind, so Tenshi didn't hold up for her, right now, it was probably the best plan, until they worked out what was happening. Nothing good by the way Chester rushed back in a state, garbling nonsense and making Tenshi fly quicker. Nothing could hold in the chocked gasp at his state, and Tenshi, even after so long as a healer, wanted nothing more then to empty her stomachs contents. But she swallowed down the bile, taking quick steps to Akvan and looking him over, his back was obviously in the worst state, but she couldn't even begin to patch that up until they checked to see what happened within... Missing bones and punctured lungs by the way he was breathing, but unless they could find a way to move him, she could do little to help. She needed Nanari here as soon as possible, her fellow healer might be able to help with the worst injuries, as they would need to tackle those first. Taking a breath, Tenshi looked to Hada. "Hada, I need you to grab any supplies you can to help, including some things to set up base, we cannot move Akvan far, if at all, and we are going to be here a while. Get Labari and Zuura here too, I will need people to keep him distracted and awake. Oh and good work with the armour, I cannot say if its helping, but either way, keeping his neck supported is better then nothing." They had a long time ahead of them to heal Akvan, that being if Shinda didn't drag him back in too soon.

He couldn't feel any closer to being like a toy. Akvan felt almost nothing, but sickening pain that was now natural to him. More skin was torn open, this time more delicately, like precious artwork, as the two Devils over him wrote words over his body. Akvan didn't know what they said, and he was glad he didn't. His mind could hardly comprehend life as it was right now, he was nothing but a hair's width from falling into complete loss of everything. He'd faded into some sort of unconscious, yet still awake state. The stress and pain levels had gone too far, Akvan stopped concentrating on what was going on, feeling himself being dragged and moved, but no longer having the willpower to care about it. Shinda wanted him brain-dead and hurt beyond repair, and there was nothing the Sun child could do to stop anything the Devil felt like doing. So he no longer cared about where he was. Not until sound entered his ears again, the soft hum of the swamp that told Akvan he was out of Purgatory. It was one hell replaced with another though, because there would be no comfort no matter what realm he was placed in. Akvan just wanted to die, get this pain out of him even if it was forced out by the loss of his life. He no longer cared for promises, he couldn't even recall them in his current state, the natural urge to die was all that was left in him. That was until he heard a gasp. Akvan's eyes still worked, and they twitched slightly with movement as he tried to find that voice. It was replaceable, even to the torn up heart Akvan now had. He wanted to call out to Chester, letting thoughts of her struggle to replace the pain and sorrow in his head. But she disappeared, leaving Akvan to wonder if she was ever even standing in front of him, or if it was just a hallucination of the dying man's hopeless mind. But, like heavenly lights to bring Akvan back to life, more voices appeared, more that Akvan recognised, that brought him that little bit more energy. Hada, his sister, ordering him to keep himself alive and then Tenshi. Akvan's voice wheezed, no air to come out from his destroyed lungs and no voice box to convey them. He could hardly breath, air sucked in just popped right back out in the form of clotted blood or spit. So after gurgling a bit on blood, Akvan tried something else. His hands were numb, but he could still clench and move them. His whole arm in fact was more or less intact, if impaled in places with pieces of blade or bone. One arm was hooked into the wall, causing Akvan to hang as he was, whilst the other rested dead by his side. The dying Sun child didn't have anything left to help the others cope with all of this, he could only do one thing to himself that they wouldn't have to worry about later. But Akvan knew as soon as he forced himself to move and live again all the pain and suffering would return. He'd probably scream and cry breathlessly throughout, but there was no choice left. Swiftly raising his arm, using the one burst of energy left, Akvan used one arm to knock into the other, dislodging himself from where he hung, whilst tearing out a good chunk of flesh from his arm. The fall was only two feet, but it felt like a drop from a cliff. Akvan's legs collapsed, and his back and rips crumbled even more as he crashed down onto his front.

At the look of Chester, Nanari headed over quicker, with the help of her sister of course. Knowing that whatever it was couldn't be good, she knew Tenshi would do what she could while she headed over. But no matter what Nanari imagined she would walk into, watching a basically dead Akvan lift himself up and drop to the floor, back open and red was the last thing she expected. Nanari touched the ground and could feel panic coming along, could feel her mind acting up as it once did. But she had to remain calm, rushing over and hovering a hand above his back. "He's in really bad shape. Tenshi, we need to stop blood flow, fix his back, and his lungs and heart by the looks of it all at once... I don't, I cant... I don't have enough Magic energy to do so fully." It wasn't an easy thing to pick, what to work on first, all areas were as bad as the other, and even with her medical knowledge, Nanari didn't know what to do, but, she could take a good guess. "Tenshi, I need you to do anything you seem fit to keep him alive... I'm going to begin cleaning his lungs, and fixing his heart..." Nanari couldn't say much more, not if she wanted her mind here to help, rather then letting it go off, especially as she had no idea where to start with cleaning the lungs. And inspecting his heart... Nanari could feel something in it, something she was afraid to ask of. And she couldn't even go and fish it out, not without the tools, and they had no time to get them.

Hada was shaking, not knowing what else she could do. Akvan began to try and respond to her, but all that came out was dried up blood and more, and it made Hada a little sick. Her pale face turned to Tenshi when she arrived, relieved to see someone else to help. And Hada wanted orders, anything to help her feel like she was doing something to keep her brother alive, even if living right now looked so horrific. She'd turn to run and get help, hearing the rip of flesh and Akvan falling just as she moved off. Hada didn't look back, leaving her brother in Nanari and Tenshi's hands until she got back with Zuura and Labari. Hada raced back to the clan, unable to summon her magic whilst it was still being used to help Akvan. So it was a long run, but Hada didn't stop, her legs weak and aching by the time she caught up to the others. Hada guessed they knew Akvan was back, if they saw the sky. Hada stopped, hardly taking a breath. "He's back... but... It's really bad. I don't think I can even describe Akvan right now." Hada told them. She looked behind her, before back to the others. "Tenshi told us to go there with supplies to set up camp, they can't move him, so we'll have to remain there. We should hurry." Hada stated, rushing along with Labari and Zuura to get the supplies. Things were still stored in the Hall from the Nightmares, so it was easy for them to grab make-shift beds, and things to prop up as a cover as well. After that, it was a rush back, little to no words spoken, even from Zuura. Hada didn't look at Akvan twice, she'd been shocked once already, and so busied herself with the supplies. Zuura was painfully quiet, just staring down at Akvan. And he wasn't smiling. "Nanari..." Zuura muttered, before his smile returned, looking much more forced than usual, "We're going to fix him, right?"

Tenshi set straight to work once Nanari gave her verdict, keeping an eye on her friend, knowing that this was much harder for her then normal. And giving Chester a small lingering look as she went off, Tenshi knew why, it much be hard for her, and as much as Tenshi hated to say it, Chester leaving was probably the best option right now for Akvan's survival, even if Tenshi wanted nothing more then to let Chester say and tell her all would be fine. Because even Tenshi had her doubts right now. Summoning her magic, Tenshi began making sure that Akvan wouldn't bleed to death, looking up only as Zuura spoke, knowing Nanari was in no mind to answer such questions right now. "Of course we will... Its me and Nanari helping out..." She knew her voice cracked, and that she didn't sound convincing, probably what Shinda wanted, but she was determined to not let Akvan die. Hovering a hand above Akvan's lungs, Tenshi focused on making sure she could help him breath. "Whatever you have planned to clean out the lungs, do so now why I can help breath for him." Oh the power of years and years of healing knowledge, if Tenshi didn't know half of what she knew, Akvan would already be dead.

The impact of the fall destroyed more of the bones shattered in Akvan's chest, the shards of rib stuck in his body twisted and dug in deeper, and Akvan coughed out blood and more in pain from it all. But he was on the ground now, not hung up, and he'd just have to rely on the others to stop this pain soon. Be it heal him, or kill him, Akvan didn't care. He just wanted out of this internal hell right now. He heard Tenshi and Nanari around him, wanting to also hear Chester's voice as well. But it never returned, and Akvan's good eye searched around desperately for it. Moving his neck hurt however, causing his back to protest, and blood to flood into his mouth again. Choking made his lungs move more than usual, which ended up bringing him more pain and damage, but he couldn't help it. Akvan didn't think he'd be able to talk. Tenshi began to secure his breathing, giving Akvan the opportunity to clean his mouth of blood and gasp for breath again. But as the opportunity to speak came back, so did something else. More of Akvan's vision and mind faded into red, and his lips moved without his control. Without his consent, Akvan was able to speak, clearly, though obviously enhanced by magic so that he could talk with the injury to his neck. "T... two... hours... you have.. two h..hours t..to f...fix him." Akvan said, "B...before I t..take ba..back the ma...magic k..keeping h...him alive.... If he d...doesn't live on... on his o...own in tw..two hours... then... say g..goodbye."
The voice faded, it's obvious owner probably cackling in Purgatory right now, ready to flip the switch he had on keeping Akvan from dying right now. Akvan himself panicked, thinking on what the voice made him explain. In two hours, the Oblivia magic would leave, Akvan would be able to die again, but it meant for those wanting him alive, they'd have to put everything into making sure Akvan's body kept itself going. The thought of what exhaustion it would put them through, Akvan wished he could tell them to just give up. That he wasn't worth them working themselves to death over, not anymore. One of Akvan's hand, laid out by his side, began to shake, slowly bending into a pointing finger that dug into the ground. He slowly wrote words into the soft dirt around them. 'Kill me.' It stated, and the silent Akvan hoped they could see his plea behind the words, and the tears down his face.

The second Chester got Nanari over, she ran, hiding behind the closest trees and silently crying. She wanted nothing more then to go over and hold his hand and tell Akvan everything would be alright, but right now, Chester had no hope, though she trusted Tenshi and Nanari, Akvan was in terrible condition, one she didn't think even they could fix. And she couldn't pretend of be near him anyways, she would make things worse with her magic, she could see from her state already that being so close to an open wound would just hinder their progress. Taking a breath, Chester was about to move off, someplace secluded where she can let her emotions run wild, but that's when she heard Akvan speak, obviously Shinda's words. Two hours, even she knew the others couldn't fix him by then, and he lost too much blood, even if they managed it... Chester couldn't even think of what was going to happen. Moving off quickly, the forest dying around her as she left, Chester was in hysterics, she couldn't... Wouldn't, lose him again... But how to help, she couldn't use the totem on him, as much as she wanted to, but they needed something more. Touching down in Minato, calm enough not to kill everything in sight, Chester shook as she realised what she could do... The Bandits and Thugs having mentioned it far too many times. A man who provided blood and healing during this war... For a price. It wasn't someplace she wanted to go, pure Human territory, and dangerous in it self anyways. But she had no choice, no one was able to give Akvan blood back there, and god knows he needed it. She just hoped that the drying blood on her sleeve would be enough.

Zuura had busied himself with setting up the camp, smiling whenever others looked over to him. The clan leader was hurting, this being one rare occasion where the sight of pain and blood repulsed him. He'd never seen his best friend so hurt, and Hada hadn't either. It killed to see Akvan like this, able to do nothing to ease the pain. All Hada could do was hope the piece of Armour around his neck would seal the wounds there, to give Nanari and Tenshi one less job to do. Other than that, she just looked on, watching him breath artificially, and the two healers discuss what to do. Then came words. They sounded fake, even if in Akvan's voice, and Hada knew it wasn't really him talking. All her mind took in was that time limit. Two hours, it was a death sentence. They'd never be able to save Akvan with such little time, no matter how much work the two healers did. Hada was shaking her head, believing this was the worst announcement. But there was one even worse than that given by Akvan himself, marked into the ground to avoid his inability to speak prevent him from communicating. Hada stared down at the written request. There was no way, on Earth or in hell, that her big brother was begging to be killed. Hada's eyes soaked in tears, and she stormed forwards to mess up the words with her hand. "You're not going to die, you idiot. We won't let you." Hada muttered, glaring at Akvan's dead eyes. "Beg all you want bastard, I won't let you... you can't leave us." Hada spat, getting more and more upset with her words. Near the point of wailing in distress, Hada was picked up by Zuura, who pulled the girl away to let her cry on his shoulder instead. It was all he could do to help her, and avoid Hada seeing the slight tears in Zuura's eyes as well.

The second Nanari heard the words 'two hours' she blocked everything else out besides Tenshi. Working almost robotically to clear his lungs and remove whatever was in his heart. Nanari knew he needed blood, but, they needed to fix everything else first. She began prioritising what needed doing. Remove the dirt from his lungs and patch those up. Remove whatever is in his heart and patch that up, but that can wait a few moments, as it was easier to stop blood flow from there compared to his breathing issue. Then they needed to fix his back as best they could, not even to mention everything else. Nanari began to shake again when reading what Akvan put, but let Hada do the you must live speech, Nanari was too distress from his injuries alone to say anything positive, not without losing herself and butchering any chance Akvan had. Looking up to Tenshi, Nanari gave a half smile. "I need you to watch his heart... I'm going to have to dig my fingers in to find whatever Shinda hid." Taking a breath, and whispering a sorry to Akvan, Nanari dug into his heart until her fingers wrapped around the ring, tears pouring down her face as she realised what it was. Putting the ring between her lips, ignoring the coppery taste, Nanari healed up his heart enough so that she wasn't fearing his death, before removing it and cleaning the ring off as best she could and slipping it back onto his finger, going back to the task at hand.

Akvan knew his words would cause pain. But he couldn't ask them for anything more. Working themselves like this, worrying over Akvan's health and watching his life slowly fade in their hands. It was like Akvan's like was sand, and everyone was just trying their hardest to stop it falling through their fingers. He wanted death, to escape the pain of what happened, and what would continue to mark the Sun child for eternity. And he wanted the others to stop, stop trying to save him, when he felt like he was already gone. He'd put Nanari through enough suffering in the time he'd known her. Tenshi needed her powers elsewhere, to help her kind, and Akvan's sisters, he never wanted to appear so weak and fragile in front of them. Hada may have brushed the words off the ground, but after staring at it for a while, with a groan Akvan tried again. He needed them to understand what his voice couldn't ask. He'd marked the begging statement again, before his hand clenched up. Nanari was digging into his heart, and Akvan could feel every protest and rip of his vital organ as she did so. For a man with a broken back, Akvan did have some life left in his struggle. Mostly just in his arms, but Akvan used the one arm that could move properly to dig at the ground, try and drag his corpse away from the pain. He even tried to ask Nanari to stop, but all that came out was the squeaks and gasps of a dying animal, someone no longer capable of making any words. When Nanari stopped, Akvan's pain died down and he went silent again, other than a subtle wheezing sound. He gasped at what air he could, before Akvan's good eye glared back at the ground, and his shaking hand began to write the words again.

Labari hovered a little behind at the news, though she rushed, having collected a few extra pieces, like water and some blankets and such before moving off. If Hada's reaction was any indication, then Akvan was in terrible state, not just bad, and he worried for him. Nothing could prepare her for what she saw, and Labari felt herself tense up and freeze at the sight, eyes watching, but mind no processing, ears not listening. It wasn't until Hada screamed and Zuura dragger her back did Labari snap out of it, placing what she gathered next to the healers and taking a blanket for Akvan to lean on. She set up a mask, to stop herself from crying, she needed to be strong right now, even if her hands shook as she rested Akvan's head on the blanket. Seeing what he was writing out almost broke her, but she wanted to believe this was him just wanting from the pain, and this was the only way he believed how. Running a hand through his hair, wiping away the words, Labari hummed and whispered to him, to give him something to hold onto. "You cant go down like this. What happened to the explosions and the heroic saving act that was meant to kill you. Not some idiotic psychopathic Demon." It made Labari chuckle, and she looked back to the others before taking a breath and shouting to them. "OI. Akvan isn't going to die on us. So shut up with the sobbing and come help me distract him from the pain as the two greatest healers we know save his life." Labari wasn't going to let him go down without a fight, and even then, he wouldn't have a choice but to live, otherwise she would kill Shinda herself.

Zuura had a hard time keeping up his image of the mighty Zuura. Not afraid of blood, who in fact preferred mutilated bodies over ordinary ones. Because he couldn't like one bit of what happened to Akvan. It wasn't just for fun for Shinda, but to make sure Akvan was damaged enough to hurt other people. For Zuura of all people to be sickened by the state his best friend was in, was a sign of just how serious things were. Zuura was silenced from it, knowing broken bodies well, and knowing that even with the best healers working on him, two hours wasn't enough time to bring someone back to life. And, Zuura looked down at Akvan's silent plea, written into the ground, and felt tempted by it. He hated seeing his friend in pain like this, injuries like this were supposed to kill, their purpose wasn't to make someone suffer like this. But Zuura wouldn't act, he could only watch, pulling Hada back before she made things worse. Akvan had a pair of incredible sisters, so passionate about keeping his alive, and loved. Whilst Hada was suffering over the idea of Akvan dying, Labari was offering as much comfort as she could. Listening to her order, Zuura wiped his eyes quickly, shuffling over to Akvan's side. Hada still seemed hesitant, but Zuura had a job to give himself. He carefully sat down by his friends side, holding onto his hand so that he didn't write with it anymore. Beginning to hum, Zuura lowered his head for Akvan to see better. "You're sure making some funny noises Akvan. Don't damage that voice of yours though, we still need you on Friday nights, or else I might have to entertain instead." Zuura stated. He hummed a little more, glancing back to Hada before thinking up a good distraction, which might help Hada too. "Hey Akky. I forgot to tell you, did you know Hada's got an admirer? Someone in the clan's sending her little letters." Zuura stated, seeing Hada's crying face go red instead. "If you die here, you won't be able to be all big brotherly and chase away her suitors, you know." Zuura added, before feeling Hada hit down on his head. "Shut up, stupid Zuura!" Hada said, voice still shaky. She sniffed a little, before finding a smile. "But you're right. Akvan, you're the only one able to save me from these kind of icky relationships, so don't you dare leave me to suffer like that, alright?" Hada asked. It was hard to tell if Akvan was listening, his eyes remained wide as ever with the magic acting upon them, but the three distracting him could tell it was working, if only to keep Akvan quiet and still through the searing pain.

Tenshi and Nanari worked in tangent with each other the second they heard of how long they had left, fixing what they could and when. Starting with his heart, Tenshi had to repress a shudder at what they digged out of it, there was someone else helping Shinda, because there was no way he would have thought of something like that, and she dreaded to think who it was. Next they did what they could to his lungs, now that Nanari did what she could to clear them out, it took a lot of their combined magic to fix them up enough so that they worked with the slit in his neck, as they would have no time to work on that just yet. Now it was a case of working on his back, trying to find a way to fix him up with the broken ribs and time limit left... A few quick seconds chatting between themselves to work out the best course of action, glad that the others were keeping Akvan distracted, Tenshi gave them a look, one that explained everything. Taking a breath, Tenshi let a few tears fall, and waited for Nanari to look away, before snapping off the sharper edges of the ribs... Something she didn't want to do, but needed to be done for now. A few ribs later, Tenshi deemed them safe enough for wait, before flowing magic into his body to work as temporary weak ribs to keep him somewhat protected, while Nanari used the last of her magic to fix his back, and close up the wound. "That's all we can do, but he needs blood, fast, otherwise we are going to lose him." And that's where the problem was right now, none had the right blood to give him, why didn't they think of this earlier?
