Notes: Place looks like thisSleep was something Kakushin loved. Closing ones eyes and letting their mind create a barrier of peace as their bodies recovered from all previous day's traumas. It was something the Guardian of Peace appreciated, and he took every moment to indulge in a good nap somewhere. But, in a first for Kakushin. He'd not slept a proper wink in the past four days, and didn't plan on starting any time soon either. No, he had the best reason to stay away. Flying close behind was the only person in the realms Kakushin was prepared to keep his eyes open for. Kakushin glanced back to make sure Rurushu was keeping up through their long flight. He'd planned an area to take his loved Demon to, and hoped the journey wasn't worse than the place Kaku had picked. Where they were flying was far into unknown, untouched territory. Not since centuries ago did these far off places be visited by Humans. And back when Kakushin was exploring Sohul with Itamu, this far eastern land was a spot incredibly unpredictable. That was what made the special sights here so precious to the Angel. Kakushin smiled back to Rurushu as he led the pair past yet another network of tall, mystical looking mountains. It was a windy path, so Kakushin took it unnaturally slow. But the dangerous flight felt worthwhile when Kaku came to a stop at the entrance to the mountain sanctuary. Blocked off by the sharp, spider web of mountains and rock, the small temple was so quiet and untouched. It must have been centuries since a temple was built in this place for monks to pray to the Sun Goddess. Things were grey these days, it was just as hard to find a standing temple on Sohul than it was to find a monk still prepared to worship. Kakushin looked down over the running river, the small bridges and blooming cherry trees around the small temple. He'd no idea if Ru would like it, seeing his origins were different from the Angel. But loyalty to the Sun Goddess aside, Kakushin still treasured this place for it's tranquillity. It felt as if the temple was surrounded by a bubble, encouraging love and peace and repelling all conflict or hatred. The Angel looked to Rurushu, before slowly descending to the ground. Petals of pink from the cherry trees scattered away at the Angel's approach to the ground. Kakushin stretched his stiff arms as he waited for Ru.

Ru followed behind, quickly but safely after getting over the shock of the initial beginning flight. He watched his surroundings change, in all his years travelling around for the Outlaws and he had never even come across around here, which was surprising to say the least. Keeping up with the speedy Kaku was a slight problem, but he knew the end result would be worth it. Finally making their way past the wind, both landed outside of a temple, Ru already felt at peace here, and knew his plan to run for a few days was worth it. He made his way behind Kaku and hugged him from behind. "Its beautiful." Though Ru wasn't sure if he was saying that about the scenery or the Angel he was hugging. Looking around, Ru took in everything there was about the place, etching it into his memory for all of time. He held out his hand and let the cherry blossoms flying through the air dance around it, this placed seemed like it was made for Kaku, the peace and tranquillity... Ru had already decided he never wanted to leave. "It feels like a dream.."

Kakushin folded away his wings, making them disappear. His leg didn't hurt as much, the cool air during the long flight made the pain dull down, and it wasn't like Kaku was about to let it bother him now. He smiled as Rurushu came over, pressing against the Demon's head as he spoke. "I try not to disappoint." Kakushin replied, turning himself around to give Rurushu a proper hug. Silly, they'd been flying right next to each other, but even then Kakushin missed being in the arms of Ru. Kakushin placed a quick kiss on Rurushu's lips, before turning around to look up at the sights. It really hadn't changed since last time. But in the years he'd been away, Kaku felt as though he was discovering the temple all over again. And this time with Rurushu, as the Angel wanted to be here with the perfect person. Kakushin smiled, "As peaceful as the Guardian of Peace could find for you. I haven't been here in so long, it used to somewhere only I and... Itamu, knew of." Kakushin sighed through the thought of his old friend, "But now, it's our little secret huh?"

Rurushu returned the hug and kiss with longing, he felt so empty without the Angel in his arms, and he wondered how he managed all these years without him. Ru looked around once more, always seeing something new, something inspiring, oh how he really would love to stay here forever, without a care in the world. He would love to show this place to Chester, but at the same time, he wanted here all for himself and Kaku, a place where they shed their titles and acted just as Kaku and Ru, not Guardian and 2nd in Command. "Yeah, its out little secret." Ru pulled Kaku into a long breathless kiss, one of many, many ore to come within these few days. Pulling away, Ru had a thought. "You know what we should do first... Create a little memorial for Itamu next to one of the temples. Im sure he has one somewhere else already, but it would mean more if its one you created especially for him, which only you know of..."

Trusting a place like this a Demon never felt so right. Kakushin knew Ru would keep this place between them, since he'd learnt how on par their feelings were now. Nothing felt one sided between them, every kiss or embrace was passionate on either side. Kakushin pushed into the kiss, he'd have to count them as they went. Knowing he wasn't planning on forgetting a single one in these few days. Kakushin didn't want to stop the kiss, but Rurushu had to say something. The Angel held a breath, he normally heard Itamu's name and broke down. But this time, all he could do was smile, tucking his head under Ru's neck as he thought. If he could feel anything stronger for Rurushu, he felt it this time. Kakushin sniffed a little, before moving up and kissing Ru's cheek. "I... He'd... Thank you Ruru, I think he'd like that." Kakushin muttered, looking up to the few temples. He and Itamu had visited all of them once, but Kaku could really remember them anymore. He placed his head on Ru's. "I think there's one temple just up the path, small, but surrounded by cherry trees."

Ru held Kaku close and knew he thought of the right thing... He may be a Demon and an Outlaw, but even Ru had a heart that knew when to be kind about issues, and this was one he felt strongly about. "Anytime Kaku, absolutely anytime." Breathing in Kaku's scent, he looked around at the temples he could see, though in the end it would all be Kaku's choice, Ru never knew Itamu, so he didn't wish to impose on decisions for this memorial. "Whatever you wish Kaku, and I will make sure it is done." Ru would move even the realms itself if Kaku asked of him. Hiding his wings and tail, Ru figured it was a place where neither Angel or Demon should exist, just two people. Taking hold of one of Kaku's hands, Ru looked up the path mentioned. "Shall we go and take a look then?"

Kakushin smiled, taking Ru's hand and leading them on and up the path. This place was made a sanctuary as well as a temple, so there were plenty of remote homes and small stairs or bridges to get around. Kakushin led Rurushu across the small bridge, hanging over the rushing waterfall just below it. He pressed on, thinking back as his sight filled his memories again with the last visit here. How young Kakushin had seemed to be back then, probably in his late teens. In fact, this place, it's beauty and tranquillity, probably gave birth to Kakushin's first feelings for Itamu. The Angel look down and behind them, as the flowing river as it carried forth fish of wondrous and unknown natures. Kaku remembered how Itamu showed off once, trying to catch them a meal by chasing down the fish. He'd never thought the fish would try and catch him, and the poor Angel was dragged deep into the mountain's by a 6 foot fish with it's jaws around Itamu's wing. Kakushin giggled at the memory. He pulled Rurushu forwards, cutting passed paths leading off into forests of pink trees and out into the small field he'd remembered. There, at the end of the field, was the small temple, semi-circled by cherry trees. It was open to view the whole sanctuary, and Kakushin couldn't help but awe at the sight of the mountainous temple when he turned around. This place would be perfect for Itamu, able to relax and watch the breezy trees and spot the numerous temple houses. Kaku smiled, making sure to wipe the tears forming in his eyes before they could fall. He sighed, pulling Rurushu up close into a hug as he looked over the mountain village. So empty, yet so vibrant and full of life. "Perfect." Kaku stated simply, eyes closing for a moment before he turned around to face the temple. He walked up close to the entrance, brushing dust from the door before walking inside the darkened room. A small temple indeed, it was literally just a shrine in the centre of a room, with tables arranged around each corner of the temple, littered with partially used candles. Kakushin lit a small orb of light to float in the room, going right up to the sun shrine and clearing the dust off of it. He chuckled when he found some words buried by the dust. On the foot of the stone monument, someone had written in dark ink: "Approved by Angels, The mighty Itamu and his loyal dog Kakushin." Kakushin giggled a little, looking up to Ru, "In case you were wondering why I call you Itami's loyal dog, it was... something I was called once or twice myself."

Ru allowed himself to be dragged along the route to the temple Kaku chose... Taking in all the sights. So far his favourite was the waterfall, and he knew sometime in the space of them being here, Ru would have to just sit and watch it for a bit, something about them always made him feel at peace... But during his duties in the Outlaws and helping out his sister, he never really got chance to enjoy one as he wished. The small village, though now abandoned, was full of life, and Ru was able to picture people living in such a beautiful place. Returning the hug, Ru silently agreed before following Kaku into the temple. He knew that whatever they did in here today, Ru would wait until Kaku was asleep to make sure everything was perfect... It may be a small temple, but if they were going to be creating a monument for one who meant so much to Kaku, then Ru wanted everything to be perfect, to be right. Ru just chuckled slightly when he saw the writing, how it was roles reversed now, and he was playing Loyal dog, and not just to Itami.. "Im not only Itami's loyal dog now, remember?" Clearing away the rest of the dust, Ru knew they had their work cut of for them if they were to make things shine. "Im thinking we clean up the temple first, make it look like it once did, and maybe you can tell me more about Itamu? If you want, I don't wish to bring up any bad memories or make you upset with such a request."

Kakushin brushed a hand over the writing. Oh, Itamu. It was clear where Neko got his cheeky nature from, he learnt from the best after all. Kakushin raised a brow to Rurushu, giggling slightly. He got up, "Really? Never had my own loyal doggy, does that mean you'll fetch me items now too?" Kakushin replied, placing a tempting kiss on Rurushu's lips before looking over the shrine. He nodded. They'd need to clean up first, even though Itamu had always been an untidy soul, it didn't mean he deserved to sit around gathering dust. The Angel went over to the tables of candles, putting them in their correct places. He stopped when Rurushu brought up the idea of telling tales of Itamu. That was something Kakushin hadn't brought up since, then. He'd not needed to. The only person to tell them to would have been Neko, but he already knew all of the stories. But Kakushin didn't want to feel like he was forever avoiding the topic. Kaku cleared his throat. "It's fine... now, Itamu's stories... Well, he was always one for causing trouble, but not a bad kind. He was the kind of Angel that would cause pranks to make you laugh, but nothing more. He loved to sleep, I'm surprised we even found this place, I had to drag his lazy hide around everywhere. I'd either be called a dog or horse. Personal carrier bird also came up, backed up by my amazing singing as well." Kakushin smiled, moving onto the next table, glancing over to Rurushu. "We met when I was around, fifteen. I was always travelling out of Aura. One day I was play-attacked by a group of kids in a run down village, they wore funny, tribal paint over their faces, and little sticks with blunt ends. I went along with their games, and they took me to their leader. It was like seeing a dragon trying to fit in with a group of lizards. Itamu, wearing nothing by shorts and covered in a rainbow of paint. He was their crazy leader, and demanded that I pay them the fee for using their town. I couldn't pay, and so Itamu made me help out in their little tribal tasks. Angels wouldn't permit what they did, breaking windows and causing chaos, but there was something to the madness this crazed Angel was allowing. I'd only realized it after a week. The kids, they were terminally ill, time-bombs ready to go any day. Itamu knew that, and wanted the kids to have as much fun as they could before then. He saw the fun in creating chaos rather than simply sitting around in 'peace'. They died a little later, and me and Itamu travelled up to Aura to see their rebirth. That was his last visit to Aura, but Itamu couldn't wait to escape the clouds and back down to Sohul. He was probably the least Angelic Angel I'd ever met, when he offered to show me a new side of life that Aura didn't show me, I couldn't resist. I guess I kinda had a thing for chaos."

Ru leaned into the kiss, pressing his lips against Kaku's more forcefully, not wanting the contact to end so soon before smirking. "If that's what my master wants... But this doggie does anything for treats.." Ru began to collect the cobwebs and dust from the tables and temple in general. Even doing small things like that will drastically improve the place and make it cleaner then it originally was, though the place itself was in immaculate condition already. During this little cleaning session, he listened intensely to everything Kaku said, he wished to know all, so if Kaku ever needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to confide in... Ru could be there and know more about possible reasons why. Ru was also curious as to exactly who Itamu was, for him to make such a huge impact to Kaku's life, he felt as if he needed to know about him, so in a way, he could also know more about Kaku himself. When Kaku finished speaking Ru just smiled over to him. "Itamu already sounds like a wonderful person, a wonderful Angel. And does it matter that he was the most Un-Angelic Angel you knew? Even the most mature of Angels have their chaotic side... I would know, I spied on King Mo and your Queen take part in a pranking war when I was just a young Demon..." Ru then went on to raise his eyebrow and give Kaku a look. "And you only guess you had a thing for chaos... I think you still do.." I mean look at where he was now... Dating an Outlawed Demon, could Kaku really get anymore chaotic then that?

He was, Itamu, a wonderful person. But becoming wonderful wasn't a hard thing to do, staying wonderful for so long was. Kakushin couldn't think of a time when he'd argued, properly, with the Angel. Kakushin chuckled. He supposed Ru was right, now more than ever, he was certainly going against his 'peaceful' nature. But that didn't matter, chaos wasn't the horror Kakushin had assumed it was, Itamu and Rurushu taught him that. "Well, when you're stuck making things all quiet and peaceful, you tend to get attached to the chaotic ones, and seeing a handsome, outlawed Demon, it's a wonder I didn't give in sooner." Kakushin replied, moving to the centre shrine to brush it down.
"But yeah, Itamu was a great person. He didn't think that 'no' was ever an option. We could always travel further, never give up. There was a time, during a much less calming discovery like this place, that ended in a rock-slide. We were trapped, I shoved Itamu out of the way, but in turn got trapped in a small cave. I was in there for.... a week? And he refused to move, scratching at the rocky walls around the cave entrance until his fingers bled. A whole week, none stop desperate digging. Eventually, travellers made their way by, and they all got the rocks moved. I looked at Itamu's progress on the stone, he'd only dented the hard surface. But even knowing that, he didn't leave or give up. It was a joke at first, but since then, Itamu always carried a shovel with him, it soon became his infamous weapon of choice."

Ru chuckled in response and smiled... It was a pleasant feeling, knowing you were actually cared for, and hearing something like that come from Kaku meant more to Rurushu then he would ever know. "Well, im not close to being the most chaotic one out there, but im pretty high. So it sounds like you bagged yourself a handful, Mr Guardian Angel." It was funny the difference between the two, and how they should be natural enemies... And yet here they were. Ru gave Kaku a wink and a smile before turning back to what he was doing and once again listening. Itamu really did sound like the perfect Angel, someone Ru wished he got the pleasure of meeting. It was difficult to go out and meet other Angels and Demons when your an Outlaw, many don't trust you or just ignore your existence all together, so Ru could only imagine what someone like that was. "He sounds very determined, I wished I had the pleasure of meeting him... But not this shovel, I've had a bad run in with such a weapon..." Ru gave a light chuckle and turned towards Kaku. "But seriously I do wish I could have met him, he does sound wonderful."

Kakushin's face lifted, letting out a slight chuckle. "So you're not the most Chaotic one out there? Damn, I thought I'd picked the best." Kakushin replied, equalling with a wink and smile. Kakushin finished on his work on the centre piece, getting up and over to Rurushu, leaning on the Demon's side. "Yeah, but that shovel could bring grown men to their knees, it wasn't a toy... although Itamu sure needed some convincing on that part." Kakushin said, rubbing the back of his head. That was a day Kaku didn't remember much of, because most of it have been spent drooling on the floor after Itamu decided to test just how dangerous the shovel was when contacted onto an Angel's head. Kakushin dropped his eyes, "It would be nice if he was still around... but, thinking selfishly, I would never had met you if that was the case. And I kinda hope Itamu knew that all along, that the thick-skulled Angel he'd trained on the side of fun would be alright, even with him gone." The Angel smiled finally, looking up. "And I think he's happy that I was able to find someone else to give my heart to, someone worthy of it."

Ru wrapped his arms around Kaku and rested his head upon the others. "Oh, I am pretty high up there... But I can name several others who are more chaotic... But I am the nice kind of chaotic, and the top of that list... And again, glad I didn't meet the shovel." Rurushu tightened his grip and smiled slightly at the Angels words, he couldn't help but feel a warmth wrap around his heart. "Im sure we would have crossed paths... Im a huge believer in destiny and fate... Besides, im an Outlaw and your Guardian of Peace, you most likely would have been set on my tail at some point." Ru gave Kaku a slight peck on the cheek and closed his eyes. "Thanks for giving me your heart. And Im sure where ever he is, he's shouting at me right now to never break said heart... I can almost hear it." Ru gave Kaku another tight squeeze and kiss before moving onto kissing the others neck, in a hope to leave a mark for all to see that he was taken. "You know you have mine as well right?"

Destiny meant a great deal to both the Demon and Angel race. It was, after all, their meaning of existence. As well as living and surviving and enjoying life, Angels and Demons faced another ultimate goal. They helped create the fates of Humans, they create destiny. Whether it was someone's fate to die happy or otherwise, the beings of the skies were at the forefront of making it happen. Kakushin smiled to what Rurushu said. True, fate may have brought them together, and Kaku was grateful for it. But if Itamu didn't die, and he and Kakushin still travelled without end, then would Kaku even be a Guardian of Peace to begin with. It made Kakushin think. And to put it in a positive sense, he was thankful to Itamu, for seeing more for the Angel even after leaving him. Kakushin leaned into the kiss, humming as Rurushu spoke again. "Of course," He muttered, smiling, "I've never received such a meaningful gift, and I don't plan on losing it, now or ever." He placed a hand over Rurushu's cheek, pulling him into another kiss. Sending his determination on keeping Ru's heart into the act. "This place is looking better," Kaku stated, looking around the small room, "Itamu probably won't want anything big or fancy, so a few stones and words would make him happy, for the monument."
