Name: Gensho Night
Age: 39
Gender: Boy
Race: Demon
Job: Demon God of Night
Rank: 5 Stars
Appearance: Fancy would be a good word to describe Gensho's setup. His dark hair, maroon red eyes and pointed ears are only the top of the overall design. Below, the Demon fashions a dashing jet black coat fit with a white undershirt and red lace. The scruffs of his coat are folded into white edges, and his coat falls down just near his knees where it remains rather torn and worn down. Atop his crown, Gensho wears a black top hat, worn at almost all times unless removed out of courtesy. A belt hangs loosely around the Demon's hip, used to house his sword when he neglects to need it. To keep his hands clean and tidy, Gensho also adorns a pair of black gloves. But the most dashing feature of Gensho's appearance is his royal red cape. Hooked around from the front of Gensho's neck, the cape descends down alongside his coat. The most remarkable thing about his treasured cape is that it isn't even a cape at all, but rather Gensho's wings. Using his magic, Gensho can disguise his wings as a red cape, when usually they are a pair of crimson red bat-wings. Gensho's tail is also kept hidden, as he thinks it is polite to keep the black furred tail away from the public eye. Gensho is a cheerful Demon, always acting the gentleman. So it wouldn't be a surprise to see the God taking a bow or talking sophisticated babble to his peers.
Personality: A friendly Demon, who loves to play pranks, have fun but also apologize frequently for his errors. He is a true gentleman, and puts his Demon silbing's interests before his own. Whilst most find his upbeat and over-exaggerated manner sometimes difficult to deal with, those who do make it to becoming Gensho's best friends are closely guarded by the Demon. He is the Demon to talk to about issues, especially when looking for someone who is a good listener and adviser. Gensho's heart is in the center of the party. He often partakes in nighttime events such as balls and parties that most inspire him, and doesn't mind the company of Humans. He isn't completely hated by Humans, since his job isn't all that deadly to them, and most Humans and Angels alike see Gensho's job as a necessity. If only they could view the crazy, party-loving Demon with the same respect as his job.
Likes: Star Gazing, Parties, Daydreaming, Parties, Dancing, Pranks, Friends, Fancy Clothes.
Dislikes: The Day, Boring People, Sour Tastes, Bad Fashion Senses, Change.
Weapons: Gensho is a speed based Sword wielder, he learnt his talents from Onrah, alongside his rebirth twin Akvan. He uses a quick paced style of fighting, dealing frequent small amounts of damage.
Magic: Moonlight Magic: The closest a Demon can get to using Light Magic. Gensho has complete and sole control over the light of the moon, and can harness it's light energy for his own uses. Gensho can cast beams of blue moonlight, like lasers. He can coat his sword in moonlight to make it stronger and lighter. Gensho can also absorb and create little balls of colored light from the moon, their color depicting what use they have, e.g. orange light burns, green light sticks.
History: Gensho was born a Demon. How? Well, as a Human, Gensho died during his own birth, and so has no experience of a Human life. Not that it would matter, since any recollection of his past would be lost anyway when becoming a Demon. The only thing special about Gensho dying so early was that it meant his personality as a Demon was complete original, and not passed on from his Human life. Waking up into the world of Demons, Gensho grew up like a regular kid. He was outgoing and extroverted, always chatting to others and playing around. He acted as a safety wall for his rebirth twin Akvan, whom he'd got close to as they were both reborn at the same time. Whilst his brother dealt with his own issues, Gensho spent time learning about the roles of Demon and Angels and the strange Human creatures. Gensho spent a lot of his child years with other Human children, lucky to find sapiens that didn't mind being around the chaotic spiritual beings. He grew more and more accustomed to the Human way of life, spending more time in Sohul than up in Dranar. Others feared for the boy's health, since a Demon was supposed to naturally reside in the Dranar atmosphere. But Gensho didn't let up of his love to life in Sohul. And the childish charm and enthusiasm of Gensho's behavior rubbed off on other Demons. Mo saw how happy the Demon was with Sohul life, and so gave the boy a fitting job while he was still young. Gensho was made the master of the night. He was the God that controlled 12 hours of the day in Sohul.
And having such an important and influential job meant that Gensho had a duty to spend time in Sohul, not just out of wanting to be there. During the nighttime, when he was carrying out his role in Sohul, Gensho grew into a fine gentleman, never experiencing harshness in life, and supporting the stressful life carried by his rebirth twin. He went to parties often, meeting up with his old Human childhood friends. Gensho wishes for nothing in his life to change, he loves it the way it is, and only wants to change the perspective of others to make life just as perfect for them. Gensho's love for pranks helped create the chaos and phobia of night, since as a Demon he was obliged to help Humans pass on as Demons, and he was just as much feared as he was loved by Humans. You could consider him as the monster under the bed, if only that monster wore a top hat and cape and loves to party.
Free Item: Custom Magic: Shadow Illusion Magic: A variant of Shadow Magic, Gensho has the ability to create darkness. An important magic for the God of Night to wield. From his hands, or from inside his hat, Gensho can cast forth shadowy bubbles that can grow to the size of cities. These bubbles lock whomever is inside in complete darkness. Along with this illusion, Gensho can also hide parts of his body, (his wings as an example), as well as take the appearance of others by collecting shadows together and reflecting an image. Illusion magic does take a while to charge up, depending on how big the job it's required for is, and uses up quite a bit of energy to control.
