Name: Onrah Death
Age: 26
Gender: Boy
Race: Demon
Job: Demon God of Death
Rank: 7
Appearance: Onrah's eyes have been partially consumed by his pure dark magic, so much that one eye has eroded completely. Whilst this right eye is covered by a jet black eye-patch, the other remains functional, but carries a pinkish, sore color. Onrah's look is dark and shadowy. His hair is neck long and dark blue, and hardly ever cared for. The Demon outfits a large dark coat marked with silver symbols and patterns. Under his coat he wears simple black get-up, along with metal chains with no real purpose. Onrah wears large boots, and by his hip he hooks his two specialized swords.
His Demon wings are the usual, leathery bat-wings, tipped with crimson red spikes. His tail is a jet black lions tail, kept hidden tucked under his coat most of the time. Onrah is usually seen with a smile on his face, and the man stands proud to speak good words for his kind. His voice is deep and rather growly, although this never seemed to nerve those around him.
Personality: For the man in charge of killing everyone, Onrah is surprisingly jolly and outgoing. He doesn't hate anyone naturally, only by force, and always accepts people's apologies. He cares deeply for his Demon siblings, and respects Mo like an old, wise Father. Onrah loves to have fun, even though his duties keep him very busy the Demon finds way to keep his boredom at bay. He tries to act like the experienced older brother of the other Demon Gods, since he was placed in charge of controlling the balance of life. Unlike most Demons, Onrah has a soft spot for Angels. He admires them, and has a 'thing' for the lady Angels. Call him flirt, but Onrah is always over-friendly around the Angel ladies he works with. He is a fun going guy, but Onrah works hard and doesn't always know how to take a break. Death is going on constantly, so it isn't like Onrah can take a vacation. Nevertheless, Onrah takes his job seriously, and goes out of his way to make sure others understand their position and feel happy in the life they're given. He might bring death wherever he goes, but Onrah loves and respects life as much as anyone should.
Likes: Demons, Angels, Humans, Lady Angels, Having Fun, Chatting, Life and Death, Creating a Balance.
Dislikes: Outlaws, (they make his job harder), Friends getting upset, troublemakers, being lost, being behind schedules.
Weapons: Onrah has two custom made blades that attach to his hands like gloves. Like claws, Onrah can use them to attack and defend himself.
Magic: Death Magic: Magic unique only the Demon God of Death, this magic literally controls the strings of life. In his pocket, Onrah has a golden string for every Human in Sohul, and by cutting a string, he can take their life. However, unless the person is on the verge of death already, the strings cannot be cut. So only when reaching their last breath can Onrah actually use this magic. Whilst in a fight this magic has little use, it is essential to all balance in the worlds. His magic also includes a mental link to all Demon Gods. Onrah can send simple instructions to his fellow Gods on lists of who must die in what matter, so that he can later end their lives. In a way, Onrah is responsible of all the actions taken by Demon Gods, and it is a weight he bares happily. Onrah is responsible with the power, only cutting the strings of those ready to die. But if placed in the wrong hands, all life could easily be erased at the cut of a string.
History: Onrah didn't live long in his Human life. In fact, he's been a Demon for more years than he'd been Human. He was the eldest brother of a struggling family in Minato. Onrah was protective of his family, keeping his younger brother Tyrone safe from the dirt of ill-willed men of the outside world. Whilst his own family struggled to find barely enough food and shelter to survive, Onrah often gave his shares of substance to orphans living in the streets. He was truly a wonder, kind and friendly to everyone. The boy thought little of the evil hearts of people, and although he wished for a better life for his family, he didn't hate anyone for the position he was placed in. As a teen, Onrah was set to work for a few friends as a thief and bodyguard. He did his job well, but was still set in the ways of giving what he had stolen to the poorer of the town. This didn't please his superior thieves, and Onrah was beaten a lot for his wasting of goods. Tyrone soon grew old enough to join in the thug life, but Onrah refused to let his brother get too far involved.
The brothers worked as the lower lives of the gangs, stealing petty things and basically licking the ground beneath their leaders for a living. Onrah was still in high spirits, until something went horribly wrong one afternoon. Tyrone had got mad in a beating with one of the leaders, and had brutally killed the man with a knife. Onrah withheld judgement of his murderous brother, and instead decided to take blame for the in-gang crime. Perhaps the plan to defeat the gang and keep them away from his brother had been a bit rash. Onrah was chased down by the entire crew after being accused of killing the leader. Cornered in an abandoned tunnel line under the houses of Minato, Onrah gave the gang one last surprise. Fatally wounded, Onrah set alight 20 barrels of gunpowder, and covered the entire gang in death's embrace. The explosion caused the houses above the tunnels to collapse, killing a total of 35 people. Onrah was sent to Dranar for his rebirth, since no mass murderer could have the chance of becoming an Angel no matter how kind-hearted they had been in their life. There is a reason however that no-one really hated Onrah's name for what he did. The houses that collapsed belonged to the rich, suppressing noble families of Minato. And in their rubble, the poor found scraps of jewels and riches for them to survive with. Onrah's last gift to those he'd help throughout his life... he couldn't leave the poor with nothing could he now?
Onrah grew as a regular Demon for 20 years, happy and willing. He met frequently with Angels, attempting to woo the fine ladies of Aura. He didn't succeed in finding love, but did succeed in patching holes in the relationship between Demon and Angel. King Mo saw something in Onrah, and was in tremendous gratitude for the boy's help in democracy. Onrah was entrusted with the highest role available to a Demon. He was made the Demon God of Death, and accepted the role happily. Since then, Onrah has become even closer to the Angels who understand the importance of his job, and how death not only benefited Demons but Angels as well. Onrah got to grips with his job, sending mental images to his fellow Gods of what to do and who was targeted. Truly, Onrah took his job in his stride, and aims to become a great image for his spiritual race in the future, hoping to make positive ties between the beings of Sohul, Aura and Dranar.
Free Item: Dragon Pet. Shu the Darkness Dragon:
How Onrah managed to befriend this great behemoth no one knows. But the pair seem to have an arrangement. Onrah doesn't give much away, but it involves feeding the dragon the rotten skulls of the dead in return of Shu's assistance when Onrah truly needs it. When not require to help in a mission or when his master is in danger, Shu retires to the deepest and most lifeless caves in Sohul.
