Name: Percival Ohere
Age: 18
Gender: Boy
Race: Human
Job: Being a missing Prince.
Rank: Like... beyond Rank 10 really.
Appearance: Parts of Percival's appearance give away his heritage. Like his Turquoise hair, or his bi-coloured eyes, the right being a deep blue, and the left being gold. He also keeps his slightly curly hair short, and well kept for the most part. His clothing however is rather run down. A shirt that was once white, now grey, and a thick black coat, covering the boy's unhealthy and small physique under it. His skin is pale, with dark rings around and under his eyes constantly, as if he never truly sleeps. In his hand is usually a bottle of some sort of alcohol, usually a very strong liquor, and Percival always carries the scent of a drunk around with him, sober or not. Put bluntly, from afar, the Human Prince looks his part, noble and well kept, but up close, it's obvious that his royal blood never really kicked in, or Percival refused it.
Personality: What hurt Percival feels, emotionally and physically, each and every day. After so long of being someone that never belongs, he's created a shell of indifference towards almost everything, hiding the kind soul that really resides beneath the layers of suffering and alcohol. He was taught by those who raised him to think of himself as better than everyone else, that his powers could easily defeat them all. But, all Percy really felt was envy, towards those who didn't have to live the life of a monster, with uncontrollable powers that torment him constantly, blood running through his veins that he didn't want to be a part of.
He longs to live a simple life, but can't. And most days, Percy tries his hardest to just forget who he even is, travel from tavern to tavern to drink and block out the suffering in his head. To detail what exactly goes on in his head, it's just a ever increasing pile of memories. The pasts of everyone Percy has met from the moment he was born, all seen through his uncontrolled Time magic. There is so much information on others lodged in the boys head that he often overlaps other's memories with his own, and when Percy really suffers from his mental state, others tend to look at him like a mad man. When he was old enough, Percy decided to just drown himself, better to look the part of a drunk man than a mad one, in his opinion. He knows exactly who's son he is, but it's fairly obvious after all this time of wandering, Percy doesn't really even want to accept his father either. What he wants is Peace of Mind, to spend just one day of his life without his only mind attacking him, the overflowing pasts of everyone he's seen in his head causing him constant headaches. Percy wants to be normal, to explore the world, make such a thing a friend, but he's wise enough to life now to believe such a thing isn't possible, even without looking into the future to check.
Likes: Alcohol, Peace of Mind, calm, exploring the world, making a friend.
Dislikes: His powers, the acute headaches, pain, judgement, being mad.
Weapons: He's a scrawny teenager with no weapons, but enough power to rip the world in two, if he wanted to.
Magic: There was a chance Percival would be born without his parent's powers, or just one of them. But, by chance, he was born with both. And not just both the Magic of Space and Time, but a superior form of both. Percival's powers excel those of his parents, similar, but stronger.
Time Magic:
Being able to manipulate time has it's uses, when one is in control. But, when the magic controls it's user, then things get interesting, and dangerous. Percy has never really got to grips with Time magic, though slowly over time he's learnt it's various uses.
Freeze: Like his father, Percy can easily freeze time, on everything but himself and whoever he touches. However, he can also direct this magic onto someone, freezing them in time, unable to move or age or do anything. Percy used to see the fun in pranking people with it, but now, he knows how dangerous it could be.
Rewind: Percy can touch anything and send it back in time. He can touch a broken bottle and reform it, or an entire building. Or, terrifyingly, a person. He could easily rewind them, making them young again, or even non-existent entirely. Percy can also rewind all time around him to backtrack his actions, however, it's only by a few minutes, otherwise this would require more magic, and of a different style.
Forward: Again, by touching something, Percy can age it as much as he likes, until it turns into dust, if he chose to.
Time Travel: His father could, until recently, only send himself back as a spirit, or in his own body. But, Percy has no such boundaries. He can send himself, his present self, back if he wanted to, or just his soul. And not just himself, Percy can send anyone he wanted to back to the past, but he's never been foolish enough or pissed off enough to do so. Using this, Percy can jump into either the past or the future.
Recollection: His father had once dedicated part of his Past-travelling magic to learn of other's pasts. Percy can also do that, but it's done far more efficiently. He could go and just watch someone else's whole past life from his own perspective, but Percy can also go directly into their mind, go through their past from their point of view. Like this, he has their memories, their feelings, any pain they experience, he experiences. How personal he can go into someone else's life is what sends Percy's mind into chaos, and this magic is passive, Percy can't help but look at another's past the moment he meets them.
Space Magic:
Space magic, as far as Percival is concerned, is far less trouble to control, and far less dangerous if used right. He doesn't use it often, Percy wouldn't use any of his magic if he actually had control of it, but it does come in handy in sticky situations.
Transmutation: Everything in the realm of space has mass, and everything in life is made from mass. Therefore, whoever controls the powers of space, can control the mass in it. Percy can, at his will, change any one object into another. He can also change elements into other elements, or even living creatures into something else, although it isn't as simple. This magic takes time to cast, as Percy has to focus on what mass he is breaking apart, and what he is creating from it as a result. It was taxing and annoying, until he figured out how he could personally add a good bit of alcohol to any liquid he happened upon. Transmutation also links in with the ability to telekinetically manipulating parts of life, such as turning water vapour into balls of water to attack with, or turning dust particles into miniature comets to throw.
Power of the stars: Percy can command stars in two different ways. He can command them to lose their light, creating an eclipse to make a particular area comepletely shrouded in darkness. Percival can also make a list of different stars appear in his hand. From the infamous Yellow Dwarf, a small and tiny sun that burns through anything he wants it to. The star, if held long enough, will turn Red. This sun cannot control what it burns and what it doesn't, it absorbs moisture from the air, drying out throats and burning severely even from a distance. Held even longer, it turns pure white. This star does not give off heat, but takes it in, and it takes in so much heat that, on touching someone, it can freeze their skin, give them frostbite after a few seconds of contact, if not sooner. Held even longer than that, it increases in size, slowly turns back from white to red to yellow, expanding and expanding in Percy's hand. Percy could release it then, for a large amount of impact, or hold it even further, until it turns into a Supernova. An explosion like no other, burning everything it would touch, at a degrees nothing could withstand for long. The Supernova would end, collapsing in on itself and causing an uncontrollable Black Hole, sucking in and destroying everything. At this point, not even Percy could control it, it would be a final resort.
Black Hole: An alternative to the long-process and ultimate form, Percy can make miniature Black Holes, formed anywhere within eyesight, that only absorb what he wants them to absorb.
Gravity: Percy can manipulate gravity around him and in a particular area, to either be non-existent or very heavy. He can use this to fly, as well as summon things towards or away from him, amongst other tricks.
Vacuum: Using this Vacuum, Percy can teleport himself to a different location. He can't promise it would be a safer place, but so long as he concentrates, the magic won't just tear him apart.
The Constellations: The stars guide, but also hold much more meaning. Even the one who designs them, does so from an instinct in the back of his mind, making him place them perfectly to how they should be. These twelve Constellations have living minds, although they are celestial beings, and as the user of Space magic, Percy can summon them to help him. At times, he doesn't even summon the spirits, in danger, one may just appear to protect him, before he casts it away. Each constellation can do different things, different magic abilities or attacks, but after one use, they disappear back to the skies. As an alternative to summoning them, Percy can Invoke their powers as his own, being gifted with a faint, celestial glow around his body and a limited use of his chosen Constellation's powers.
History: Percival was born as an impossible child. His mother had been killed nine months ago, and yet he still existed, a newborn showing no signs of not being able to exist. He was kept alive by his magic, living as a anomaly. But he was still found, by the one person aware of his existence. Meinu, a Sun child with a passion for her purpose to destroy. Her last orders from Percy's mother were to find him and protect him. And seeing as Emeri Ohere had been gone for the last nine months, Meinu knew that it wasn't going to be about baby-sitting the boy, but raising him herself. She had help, however, from Aisu, who had split away from his previous master, after being discarded.
They raised him well, considering at even a very young age, Percy's magic was powerful, both in Time and Space. And it was uncontrollable too, but both still managed to keep themselves, and Percival alive. They got along, at some points Percy was convinced Meinu and Aisu cared for one another like real parents, but the arguments they had could convince him otherwise. He understood it though, they were different, and probably stressed with having to try and manage the uncontrollable young boy without harming him. And he'd also known their pasts from the moment he could even use magic. Percy knew they weren't his real parents, but it didn't matter much to him.
What did matter was how over time, Percy didn't get any better handle on his magic, it only grew worse the more emotional he became. The pasts of others would filter into his mind without his permission, before Percy even reached 10 he was already suffering, seeing gruesome pasts of others, seeing things a child his age shouldn't have to bear, and all of it was overflowing in his mind, causing him acute headaches. To distract him, Meinu and Aisu put more work into teaching him their morals, telling him about his real mother, this powerful Queen named Emeri. And his coward of a father, Blye. They said that it was his father's magic that brought Percy all this pain, and therefore the King was to blame for it all. It made Percival hate his father on the outside, but more curious on the inside, to know the man who made him, and who shared in some of Percy's gifts, perhaps enough to know how to stop them. But it was a hope he had for all but a few days, forgetting his desire to meet his real father, and instead learning more from his foster one. Aisu encourages Percy to find his more violent side, taking the boy on hunts, destroying things to vent out some of Percy's uncontrollable magic. Whilst Meinu also encourages Percy to find a love for destruction, telling him to start believing that the world is imperfect, and he was allowed to live as an impossibility because he needed to help them wipe out the world and restart it.
Percy loved his parents, liars that they were about many things, like being together. But it frustrated him, not knowing how they truly felt. If they loved each other, hated each other, if they really loved Percy at all, or just saw him as a weapon that they could perfect. It got worse when lives were on the line, when Percy was pressed into taking lives. He'd always refused. He may be brought up by two people without any morals, but he still held some himself, he saw too much life in others to kill them. In his later years, frustrated and confused in how he should feel, he found something to null the pains, alcohol. Sweet liquor that drowned out the confusion and replaced it with white noise. He returned to his parents constantly drunk or beaten, but neither Meinu nor Aisu cared too much. They didn't stop him drinking, and in fact encouraged it. It hurt Percival, as he knew what he was doing wasn't exactly healthy, and was expecting the two people in this world that actually cared about him to stop him. But, he still, as usual, took their encouragements to heart. Older now, wise of the world, Percy hardly ever meets up with his parents, preferring to spend his days exploring forests or streets, and nights drowning himself in drink until he passes out.
