"Girls... you ain't comin' on this mission." Mizetto growled back to the two Nephalems. They glared back, Terra huffing a little. They'd wanted to follow their dad, go to this fight with him, but despite how strong they'd grown, he refused. Ari would kill him if she knew Mizetto had allowed the girls to jump into such dangers, especially if they were as bad as Emeri made them sound. The Taiyo clan. They'd once protected the Angelic race during the war, including Ari, and Gash. But now, according to information gathered by the Queen, they had a new leader. Exitium, a name Mizetto never wanted to hear again, much less close to home. The Taiyo clan had changed completely, according to Emeri, and were now supporting the ex-Demon King in his new desire for power. Mizetto didn't know if he could believe her, but Maraz seemed to agree with her, claiming some of his scouts had discovered that the clan of light was being un-characteristically suspicious for a while now. Mizetto would follow his orders and go, refusing to let his daughters come along. Because there was something beyond the mission that Mizetto needed to do.
The Taiyo Clan... they had Ari. Her frozen body had been captured by the light clan after it had been discovered just outside, and if they really were harbouring sub-ordinance to someone like Exitium, then Mizetto needed to get her out of there. His stone hands clenched, looking around the dark streets, other Iwa members also approaching, hoods up and silent. They wouldn't let the light clan have favourable grounds in the daylight. No, this mission was more to scout inside the clan, make sure Emeri's words were completely true, and if the clan attacked, then the Iwa members would finish them quickly. Mizetto wouldn't argue, he was here to get Ari out, safe back to the Iwa clan where he and the girls could watch over her until she broke free.
Boots hit the damp grounds of the gates, all quiets making their way inside, some going into the ground, some flying above. Mizetto went from the entrance, just outside where Ari had been attacked, where Mizetto life had changed yet again. He silently went through the gates, looking for any clues or marks in the ground of a body being dragged.

Gash hated the fact of a second war. Because that's what this was, blind faith put in a leader using all she could to gain power, and now those who trusted Emeri and realised the truth regretted it. Gash never knew the demon Exitium, but he heard the stories, and the second they discovered that she recruited him, the Taiyo clan had been on high alert, keeping it a secret as to not scare the masses, and most holding back the armies he sent. But in the days to follow, news reached them about Emeri's manipulation techniques, when one of their own turned against them, and since then guards had been put up, Gash held the main gates, watching for any sign of intruders, no longer able not put it past Emeri to take out the competition. It wasn't long before a figure came into view, and Gash would recognise him anywhere. Mizetto, the one to break his precious Ari's heart for his own jealousy, and then watched as she used the one power that very well might have caused her death, the one she swore to never use, not to that extent. Gash knew why the other was here, he came to get Ari's frozen body back, but it would be over his dead body, the filthy traitor working for both Emeri and under the command of Exitium... "You think your being sneaky traitor scum, but we've been guarding the entrances and exits for days... Come to collect Ari? Poor little Mizetto, thinking he can get away working for the traitor queen and come here, the worlds first line of defence currently, trying to stop another war from breaking out all over..."

Mizetto wasn't exactly sneaky, he usually just marched straight into a fight. He was only partly good at staying hidden because of his size. Though he didn't care too much this time about remaining hidden, if he was found, so be it, he'd just demand to know where Ari was. It happened very soon, just as Mizetto began to run, he was stopped by a voice, it made his blood boil the moment he heard it. Mizetto stood straight, pulling down his hood and glaring over to Gash. He had some words to say, and it made Mizetto furious, but also see the sense in Gash turning to Exitium for help. "Of course you'd do all this, it's all just to get revenge on me." Mizetto muttered. He glared some more, before attempting to get out of this without having to crush Gash. "I don't want another war, Gash. Emeri may be weird, but I trust her, so does my family." Mizetto replied, remembering his mission now. He glared once more, "The Iwa clan's here to snuff out you traitors to the people, turns out the light ain't so nice as people thought, an' I'm sure we can prove that you ain't the nice, pretty guy who just wants to help everyone... Where is she, Gash?" Mizetto demanded. Fists clenched, waiting for an answer he wanted, or else more persuasion would be needed, it seemed.

Gash jumped down from where he was perched and stood a little distance from Mizetto, hard glare and raised eyebrow. "And you think we do? That's why were fighting Emeri, she's causing another war, I've seen it, she was the one to hire Exitium to return, the man who destroyed not just the Iwa Clan, but The Yaku, and the Nix, the very same clan precious Ari came from... And by siding with Emeri, you side with him..." Mizetto thought they were the traitors? Oh how he had no idea, Gash's glare hardened as he walked closer, arm raised ready to attack, knowing this talk would only go one way. "Us the traitors? Were the ones fighting Exitium's scull army before they reach the major cities, were the ones who broke away from the Queen as to fight a battle so that others don't go through yet another so soon... Your people are the traitors for siding with that Bitch." Smirking to Mizetto when Ari was mentioned, Gash shook his head. "I wont tell you, she's here under our protection, her fathers wishes... You have no right to take her... You would have, if you were married, but not even the union you hold, or your kids will break apart the right we have to keep her." Gash wasn't lying either, though he wanted to keep her here for selfish reasons, but Takeo did ask the Taiyo clan to look after her, and Mizetto without having married Ari had no right to go against those wishes unless addressed by Takeo. Though Gash knew Mizetto wouldn't take that well, even if it was his fault for not having the right.

Gash wasn't a man Mizetto would ever believe. He may sound like a smooth talker to some, but the Demon saw through it all. He knew Gash's words were nothing, just bluffs and lies. Because he believed his brother more. Maraz had proof from his Iwa contacts that the Taiyo clan was being shifty, and most likely working for Exitium. There was no way Mizetto would work for Exitium again, he'd know it in his blood if he was. Because that bastard Demon had done too much in the past to Mizetto. Captured him, tortured him, forced him to almost commit genocide by destroying all of Sohul and Dranar. "I'd never side with that bastard again!" Mizetto barked, knowing he was just breaking cover now, but he couldn't hold in his anger. "Exitium tried to take everythin' from me once, an' he almost did. It's funny.." Mizetto growled, "He reminds me a lot of someone recently, who took everthin' from me. An' it's almost like I'm lookin' at Exitium himself right now." Mizetto added.
But the conversation changed, it wasn't about Exitium or Emeri anymore. It all came down to Ari, as it did, between Gash and Mizetto. The ground shook for a moment, Mizetto hands clenching so hard they might just crack a little. "You... your sayin' you, a pathetic weasel of a man, has more right to protect Ari... then me? Or much more than just me, her own two girls?" Gash was just rubbing it in Mizetto's face that he wasn't married to Ari. Deep down Mizetto knew, even if he was, it wouldn't change anything. Because it was just Gash and his jealousy, his need to have Ari no matter what. Takeo made his choice in this, which also annoyed Mizetto, not nearly as much as Gash did. Mizetto didn't want to do this, but he had to. "Gash, you'll never have Ari. An' I don't want to see her as an object to own, no one has a right to protect her." Mizetto begun, correcting both Gash and himself, "But she does deserve to one day wake up to her lovin' family, not some selfish snake." Mizetto said, earth rumbling again, cracking around Gash's feet to get the Angel moving, Mizetto in fighting position now.

Gash knew it was too late to change the minds of the Iwa Clan, and he hoped that they suffered when they learned the truth about who they were really helping, but Emeri had her claws in them too deep now, to ever hope removing them. And Gash only wanted Ari happy with him once more, Mizetto was the one to push her away, so his claims on how he was like Exitium never effected him so the other probably hoped, all it did was make him laugh. "Suit yourself, but when you learn the truth, as I vowed myself never to lie, I hope you suffer." Gash really hated Mizetto, and against it all, he knew it was mutual. Giving a laugh, Gash shook his head, Mizetto not really getting it. "Its not just me protecting her... Its the Taiyo Clan, her father, her step father... Your the one who abandoned her when she needed you the most, we never held restrictions on visiting, and yet you and the girls never showed... As for protection, your right, none have a right to do so... But her father wishes for us to do so, and by that we take it as his right, family and all..." Smirking to Mizetto, Gash had one last parting thing to say before the talk was over. "Loving family? If I recall, you made her feel as if you never loved her any more, she froze thinking you hated her... I could see the love she had for you in her eyes everyday at the Temple, saw how hard she worked to protect both her Angel family and be with you and her children... But you never did. And I saw the way she wished for more, something secure, and you never delivered, and how long had you two been together? With no change? Years right?" Gash froze the earth beneath his feet as it crumbled, keeping it together, having trained his magic enough to emit from more then just his hands, though it still remained weak. Before moving forward in an attack, hand hoping to connect with any part of the others body.

Mizetto did his best to be all for equality, seeing no Angel or Demon as different, much unlike how he'd acted as a kid. But, right now he was understanding where the line appeared between the two races. Angels justified every single one of their actions, with laws, with 'good deeds' that they think cover them. They'd never lie, or at least claim to, and because of how pretty and kind they all were, everyone always believed them. Demons accepted they weren't perfect, and they didn't make any efforts to force themselves to appear more so. If this were the other way around, rather than using an excuse like, it's her fathers wish, you have no right, you 'abandoned' her, I take no blame. Mizetto would instead say it how it was, he was keeping her because he wanted to, and that's exactly what Gash was thinking about, along with bitter hatred towards Mizetto, and joy at seeing himself higher than the Demon. And more words that pissed Mizetto off. Again with this marriage thing. How in Mizetto's opinion, having some sort of official binding just made love seem weaker. If Ari doubted Mizetto loved her that much, she should have asked him herself. But he stopped his thoughts there, refusing to shatter what remained of his love for Ari. He'd almost done it before, and sacrificed a lot in his life for doing so. One of which was demonstrated, as Gash rushed forward, aiming a hand towards Mizetto. The Demon countered it with a solid punch towards the hand, impacting it with a mighty clashing sound, the hard impact of a solid stone hand probably doing some internal damage to the Angel's hand. "I lost a lot, because you made me believe I wasn't worth of her. And because of that, Ari's where she is now, the girls are scared... and I'm broken. So, I ain't lettin' you mess around with my family anymore, Gash."

Gash felt the impact, but that's not what he was aiming for, it was enough to distract the other as he swung his leg and got the back of Mizetto's knees, freezing one of his legs in the process, though it wouldn't take long to thaw out, it was enough for Gash, for now as he took a step back and nursed his broken hand, blowing a cold breeze on it to help, and then freezing it over to make sure nothing got worse. "I told you the fact that I could see, your the one who made your own love for her unworthy. And she would have been here anyways, its just how Ari is, protecting her family and dying for it. Its how she died the first time, at least here she's not really dead." Gash didn't care if the other was broken, it wasn't his fault, Mizetto caused all this himself, and he knew deep down when Ari came back ,he would realise that, when she made him. "Your the one who has come here under false accusations... I refused to mess with your family the moment I lost Ari in that ice." Gash had no more time for talk as he took another swing at Mizetto, this time with the violin, as to not break anymore bones, after of course covering it with ice, to made the impact more painful.

Nothing would ever be the Angel's fault. Mizetto's teeth gritted together. It's not like Gash could be anything but an innocent Angel, right? Oh how no one would look at this fight now and see Mizetto as the one in the right. He was a Demon after all, and filth like Demons always fought without morals. There was so much hate in Mizetto right now, at himself, but mostly at Gash. He was in full belief, that if this man didn't exist, to mess around with Ari, to make her believe Mizetto was at fault for everything in her past life, then none of this wouldn't have happened. Ari wouldn't have frozen herself. Mizetto's arms would still be living matter, and Clue... he'd still be alive. Mizetto was knocked down, stuck knelling, but his reflex was unnatural as the violin came towards him. A hand snapped up to catch the frozen instrument, and Mizetto's stone fist quickly crushed the mix of ice and wood, glaring up at Gash, hoping to make the Angel count how many mistakes he'd made so far. There was another crack, as Mizetto freed his leg, moving one step forward, carrying his fist with him as he punched up into Gash's stomach with a disgusting level of brute strength. "So, now she's frozen you don't see the point in messin' around anymore? It's only good when she's alive? When you can try an' force her to love you again." Mizetto lashed out with his other fist.

Gash moved back at the blunt force of the attack, before all fight left him and he allowed himself to be pounded, freezing parts of his body with every hit but not being able to do much more then that. Gash was never built for fighting, and this moment clearly showed it. "I never wanted to force her..." Gash felt blood drip from his mouth and face burn from the punches and yet he refused to stop talking. "You'll see, when she unfreezes, she wont believe you care, she'll hide away. You'll see how you broke her." Gash coughed out some of the blood, still baring the punches, but getting one last hit in to push him away, getting his chest and neck so it hurt to move, as to sit up and catch his breath for a few moments. "I know what your past was, how you met, I knew you would only hurt her in the end, I didn't want that for the woman I love. To be broken because the one she cared for didn't have the courage to move beyond what they had, to admit things to her as she so craved." Gash knew this was his end, but he still had one trump card to play, one that gave him so much joy to say. "She's not here... Takeo took her already, when we found out you would be coming. Took her home, you want Ari back, I wish you luck getting through her fathers, those two having a hate for you right now beyond anything. I don't know when she will unfreeze, but when she does, I hope Ari makes you suffer." Gash waited for the blow to come, for Mizetto to end it, but he did not fear death, it already felt as if he had lived too many lives from the memories of others.

Mizetto didn't hold back. And Gash wasn't all that strong anyway, the blows did a lot, Mizetto could tell. The crunches would make the Demon sick if this Angel hadn't already done the job with his existence. His words continued to flow though, making Mizetto growl more. He no longer believed this Angel, and Mizetto knew his gut instinct about Gash had been right all along. He loved Ari, wanted her back, and so he'd gone out of his way to push Mizetto and Ari over the edge. Gash seemed to know that Mizetto would hurt Ari, but without proof, he'd forced it to be official, telling her his past, making Mizetto appear the monster for something he'd never done. The Demon would still never admit to the actions his Human part had done, it wasn't him, he'd never do that, so he shouldn't feel the guilt for it. The only guilt he felt was not trying to convince Ari further about that, giving up instead and accepting himself as a monster. Mizetto marched closer, about to punch again, straight into Gash's face, but his words stopped him. Ari wasn't here, she was with Takeo. And, Gash wanted Ari to make the Demon suffer. That was when the glare settled back in, his fist steadied itself, and he gave Gash one last growl. "You would wish for such a thing, creep. Maybe when you're gone, you can think about what you've destroyed, and how you've gained nothin' from this. Jack-shit, you've broken up somethin' special for nothin' but the right to gloat about it. Think on that when you're floatin' away." Mizetto spat, before the fist came down, and there was a deafening snap.
