'Return to the lands of the living' [Exitium]

He was a ruler of bones now. Body so malnourished and uncared for that it looked as dead as the things piled around him. But why would Exitium care. This was his kingdom now, a kingdom of rotting corpses, a cave in the shadows of a world he could have ruled. He had been so close, a Demonic world was on the horizon, clouds coloured red with blood, and a throne fit for someone of Exitium's power. But it had been taken, his heart destroyed, magic lost. Now that world flourished into something sickening. Even the war, the one he and his one follower had watched from the darkness, was revolting to Exitium. A pointless effort from Humanity to prove themselves to be strong, and yet despite how pathetic the pigs were, they were winning, defeating a foe that should have easily toppled them all, enslaved and taught them all how inferior they were. It made Exitium angry, more than the last year had done. That Demons had grown so weak under new rule, they were being stepped on, rather than burning fear into their enemies. And as the war ended, Exitium's disgust didn't leave. Peace was just as sickening as watching his race fall to Human filth. All of it was sickening, and nothing was fair, in the skeleton King's opinion. 

He sat on his new throne, one constructed out of hollowed out bodies, magic consumed by the King, just staring into the light lingering near the edges of his cave. Aisu was out, collecting information on any new villages the two could overpower, ones Exitium could steal the power from and strengthen his magic, if not his fragile body. He could still create crystals, even after having his own powered one removed. So Exitium had become a collector, over the last few years, picking off those who had tried to escape the recent conflict and taken their magic, no matter what kind of power it was. He was a man shrouded in the death of others, sitting atop their corpses. Sometimes Exitium wished others could see him now, his power, the lives he had taken and how their souls were now a part of him. He was a Necromancer now, controlling death, absorbing life and turning it into his own power. 

Someone approached the cave, a figure appearing and cutting through the light that filtered in. They spoke to Exitium, only seeing his silhouette, the shadow of the King, and his glowing red eyes watching carefully. This... girl, she dared Exitium, and then gave him news of the outside, of someone who wanted to recruit the King to use his power to help them, and help him get revenge. There was silence, red eyes still watching from the shadows, then Exitium laughed, it was a harsh and dry noise, like glass was running down Exitium's throat as he chuckled. Then he finally spoke, "You assume, that I am up for employment, little girl." Exitium hissed, red eyes blinking, "Or that I do not know what is currently rotting this world. Believe me, I know everything. Other than the name of this... ruler, you speak off." Exitium paused, a few clattering sounds of bones falling from his makeshift throne as the King moved a little. "I don't take sides, other than my own. Tell me, why would I need to join this ruler's side? What will she offer me? Revenge yes? Well..." Exitium rose to his feet, taking a few steps down from his throne, appearing at last fully in the light. And the girl would see him now as he was. Hair turning grey, skin pale as death, a cracked skull adorning his head like a new crown. And one arm, his left, made entirely out of shattered pieces of bone, held together with a green, deathly magic. Exitium's sunken eyes couldn't look further down at this girl before him, before he finally smirked slightly. "I can handle that on my own."

Fear was what Exitium consumed these days. Coarse screams of those he killed, the fear in their eyes, as life and colour is drained from their families around them, homes destroyed. Fear made the King feel like he had purpose again, like when he stole his powers of Destruction. It gave Exitium a purpose to be as himself once more, to live, despite his body's condition. Even his breathing wheezed, as this girl spoke to him, the Demon showing no change to his glare. "That I do." He replied, blinking once and going silent once more. A brow rose, as the girl gave him a compliment, towards his deathly look. The King always desired respect, but he'd grown more weary of it over the years. Itami once praised him daily, at every moment she could, but as her death, it never felt the same. The words became more honeyed, they just told the King what he already knew was true, what he didn't need confirming by anyone else anymore. Exitium began pacing around the girl for a bit, listening, but circling like a cunning predator, listening to it's prey talk. There was no saying Exitium wouldn't kill this girl, there was no longer anyone in this world that Exitium wouldn't hesitate to kill. For now he was just listening, to anything this brat had to say that actually meant something to the King. His glare narrowed as she brought up the two Kings, unworthy of their positions, at fault for what happened to the ex-Demon King and his kingdom. So this girl knew her facts and history, as did this Queen, Emeri. 
She then explained something Exitium didn't know, that the two Kings had a family now, a smirk crept onto the King's face, bony hand lifting to his chin as he thought. But, as enticing as the offer was, there was something expected of Exitium: To follow orders. He sighed heavily then, not waiting for the girl to continue before finally interrupting. 
"There are years of suffering they need to pay for. Taking my power, and my Kingdom from me. I plan to make them pay for it all, sap the life from their very blood, use it as my own force. Yes, they are at fault, for turning me into this. But it is this, that will destroy their existence, take whatever happiness they feel entitled to and crushing it." Exitium replied, voice getting harsher and harsher until he needed to stop, coughing up his lungs until blood dripped from the corners of his mouth. Exitium wheezed, "However, if you think I will be this Emeri's lackey, you are wrong. I do as I wish. It is my power she wants to use, she will have to deal with how unstable it is." Exitium replied. Itami had asked him once for his help, but her method of employment had been beautiful. There was no ordering Exitium, only offering an opportunity for him to have his way, gain power. This girl and her ruler, would have to try harder, Exitium was old to this game now, very wise in it.

But the girl did offer more, Exitium stopped in front of her, to the word Sun children. It changed things, just those two words. Exitium's plans for this encounter had suddenly changed, that hunger to kill only increased, and yet because of that, Exitium's urge to destroy this girl was gone entirely. For he had plans. "You're his blood aren't you?" Exitium asked, hungry eyes staring down at the girl. "I met a Sun child once, he was the only one left alive. You must be his blood. His power was incredible, and I wonder... just how much of it, is hiding in you." Exitium hissed, skeletal hand rising, the large palm opened out, lifting higher as if desiring to wrap around the girl's skull, and crush it. But, it stopped, and with a chuckle, Exitium dropped the hand. "This offer of yours is very curious. You offer me your brother, to become a weapon of mine. I've dealt with such weapons in the past, manipulated them and changed their purpose before. This... this is a very interesting offer." Exitium paused, brushing his good hand through his speckled, matted hair. "But it is not enough. There is something more I want from you. You carry a perfect opportunity for me, because of whose blood runs through your body. I want your brother, for his power. And... I want your father, for the pleasure of ripping him to pieces."

Co-operation was a strong word. Exitium wouldn't kill this girl, that was as much of the deal she was getting. But his smirk did rise as her laughter began echoing through the cave, the sheer joy this girl must feel at watching death, letting chaos destroy things around her so long as she got to sit there and watch it happen. Exitium's remembered this girl's father. Akvan, Flood, whatever he went by. He had been a thorn in Exitium's side, ruining plan after plan, and what made Exitium despise him the most was that the man was still alive despite all of Exitium's attempts. The Demon wanted to finally end that privilege. Exitium took a deep breath, "I will explain our deal then, in the way I see it. You and Emeri want my power. In return for my assistance, you will bring me your brother, to become my own weapon, as well as your father, so that I may finally destroy him. I will also be given the opportunity to kill Kakushin and Rurushu, and return to my rightful place, able to reform the Demon race into what it should be. Until I get what I want, I will follow under this Queen's orders." Exitium explained. He sighed, before moving his left hand forward. The large skeletal hand reached out towards Meinu, humming with the necrotic magic keeping it together, as he offered it to shake. "Demons do not make promises, remember that, girl. But, we do believe in fair trades, give me what I want, and I will willingly crush whatever you or Emeri want me to."

The bony hand pretty much engulfed the girl's small one, and as soon as the deal had been sealed, Exitium had a smirk on his face. He retracted his necrotic hand, before putting it and his other behind his back. The girl had some more talk in her, and whilst the compliments were beyond the Demon, her curiosity was not. Sometimes, Exitium just couldn't resist showing off. So he moved his left hand to his side, moving the skeletal digits, magic a sickly green in colour seeping from them. They drifted into the floor and behind Exitium, into bodies piled up. The magic surrounded the bodies, making them rise, crawl forward or stand up. After about six has risen, Exitium chuckled. "I don't just enjoy death, I work with it. Death and fear are my domains now, and I feast on them. Just imagine, the corpses of Kings added to my collection, or any of our enemies." Exitium replied, gesturing to the walking corpses around him. "My soul does scream, it contains the essence of fear I struck into every single person I've killed, as well as their powers. Whilst my greater skills lie in rising the dead, or striking fear into others, I also contain an endless list of magic, of all types." Exitium explained. "I'm not looking for a successor, girl, this power dies with me. And... since I've escaped death for this long, I doubt that will be any time soon."
