Tenshi was in panic when she returned to Nanari's to find Hane had up and disappeared... While she was glad he was finally awake, she had no idea where he may have gone with Shiro in ruins and Kaku all crazy... She hoped she found him, and part of her knew he had, and was now on the road of recovery, if some damage still. But that left the question of where are they now? Answered by a few quick questions that Tenshi had no time to process the answers off, as she headed to the newly being built Shiro. It was nice to see how suddenly everyone was helpful again and the war over now the hold from Shinda had been set free, and people began seeing sense again. It wasn't hard finding Hane when entering Shiro, not with the Angels giving directions in seeing her panic. Landing down a fair distance away from him and just watching, Tenshi felt tears wee up in her eyes as she observed him. It had been too long, and too close to losing him, and despite his dislike for hugs, she definitely wasn't about to hold back after so long. Not even bothering to shout, Tenshi began running over, heels clicking against the floor being his only warning before she pounced on her friend, and lips met.
[Short and sweet.]

Coping with the fact that there were so few Angels left was hard, but Hane kept himself distracted. He didn't have a legion of guards to order around, so he simply ordered himself around Shiro. Rebuilt now, or at least looking on the mend, Hane busied himself with organising rooms, looking for survivors and making sure they were all taken care of. The most important thing to look into was the rebirth tower. It had been rebuilt now, but no souls rose from it yet. The Angel race wasn't strong enough for new Angels to be born, it seemed. Time would change that, Hane had hope that soon, the race could begin to rebuilt itself, they'd done it once before. Kakushin wasn't in Aura today, spending time down with Rurushu. So Hane had the castle to himself, and for once, was glad there were three others around as well. Hane wasn't thrilled with Sky's new attitude, but he did enjoy the girl's company, and Art's, now that the Demon boy wasn't so impulsive and clingy. They had an odd friend, a Kyuban, that kept the two busy. Whilst Hane didn't know this Havok, he did approve of the fact that Havok was looking after the two, and Hane didn't have to baby-sit anymore. Which left Hane completely to his own devices. And it was hard, figuring out what to even do. All the rooms were looking furbished and clean again, there were arrangements for an apparent trade between Angels and Humans, which would help restock all the Angels were currently missing. So other than stand and think, Hane had nothing to do. So naturally, the old guard did what he did best. The courtyard was a good spot to train, and Hane trained himself hard, remembering how he'd almost failed to protect Kakushin in the last fight against assassins, due to some sort of... complication. Hane didn't want to know what triggered the acute head-ache, he only hoped it wouldn't bother him again at such an important time. He'd not thought about Tenshi as much as he should of. Too busy worrying about his race, or his King, or this pain in his head. Hane only thought about his friend when he heard footsteps. An adults, and footsteps Hane knew well. He almost smiled, glad to know Tenshi was alright, before turning around to give her a formal greeting. Hane didn't even get a chance to speak before his lips were sealed as another's met them. And, seeing that this was the first time Hane had ever received such a thing, his face very quickly went red. Hane swiftly moved back, unable to cool the heat of his face, or the fact that his eyes were stuck widened. "T..Tenshi." Hane greeted simply, before clearing his throat. "I-I assume that was out of relief, nothing more... And I... um... I apologise for not announcing then end of my ailment to you sooner."

The second Hane pulled back, Tenshi's eyes widened and her face went as red as Hanes, she didn't mean to do that... Well, no denying she wanted to, but she didn't mean to... Nope, that was definitely impulse from happiness at seeing him okay... Back at training no less. And she wouldn't deny to herself that she missed the feeling, and felt cold at the loss. NO TENSHI. Bad thought... Terribly bad thoughts right now. You do not need to be thinking this went talking to him, thinking about it. No. "Erm.... Hi? And yeah, to-totally impulse, I'm so sorry if that made you uncomfortable... I mean I liked it... But not like that that... Well yeah like that, but, oh god." She was rambling, something she did when nervous, and she mentally slapped herself... She was making a total fool out of herself and this was not how she expecting their first meeting to go... If only the others could see her now. "And its fine... I'm sorry I wasn't there... Other matters came up..." She felt so awkward right now, wanting nothing more then to resume the lock, should she say. "How, are you feeling?" Tenshi gave a small smile as she patted her sides, holding back from trying to hug him again... Or more....

Hane resisted the urge to show how... interesting, that just felt. No, he didn't want it to happen again, but it was intriguing. Left some sort of tingle, which the guard hoped was just magic or something arcane. But, continuing to think about it wouldn't help this situation, especially as Hane watched Tenshi begin to panic. She lit up with a burning red, and in her usual manner, began mumbling things or stuttering her words. Hane could have laughed, just the Tenshi he'd missed, instead, he gave her a small smile. "It's alright. I've known you for many years, impulses are common enough.... of course you rarely ever did them towards myself, but... I have been gone a while I suppose." Hane replied, hoping to calm the woman's rambling before Tenshi said something she really regretted. Hoping to move on quickly, Hane folded his arms around his back, before replying swiftly enough to Tenshi's question. "I have been healthier. But from the damage I'd taken, I am glad to simply be alive. It... was an interesting experience, being gone for so long. Frustrating, terribly so, and I wouldn't want to go through it again. I can't remember anything about it, only before and after." Hane replied. He wouldn't mention the head-ache, or muscle spasms, not right now anyway. Hane instead looked around, looking anywhere else other than over to Tenshi. "The war has ended. I'm sure you are relieved about that." Hane added.

At the words 'I have been gone a while' Tenshi snapped and hugged him close and tightly, it had been a while, and too much of a close call for her liking. It was only pure luck and skill and a too nice Akvan that saved Hane this time around, and Tenshi never wanted to go through that again, let alone imaging what it must be like for Hane, especially if he didn't wish to go through it again either. "It was pure torture, you just laid there unmoving, hooked up and cared for, for ears, unresponsive, we all spoke to you, in case you could hear us. Probably me the most, always hoped you would wake up and spent as much time as possible around to make sure you didn't wake alone... And then things happened and I was busy again, trust that to be the time you awaken." Tenshi did roll her eyes at that, still annoyed with herself over the fact that she wasn't there for him, and forgot in the mess that was Shinda coming back, and the joy at seeing her brother once more. "I am relieved, but we lost Akvan in the process, self sacrificing fool, were about to embark on a mission to find him... Its a long story, and when I get back, I'll explain all that happened these last few years to you." And she would, just sit there and chat for hours, finally being able to get a response. "I missed you, you know? It was absolute torture not having you around, even if part of me is glad you don't remember what happened while asleep, I said some pretty embarrassing things..." Like admitting my love for you... But she wouldn't say that out loud.

Hane wasn't so ready for the sudden hug. Perhaps Tenshi's previous... action, had thrown the guard off his usual instincts. Either way, it surprised him for once, but was welcome. It was comforting, just being able to receive something so simple after lying next to death for so long. Hane couldn't remember the entire coma, only how hopeless and alone he'd felt, despite being able to hear. Memories had never stuck with Hane during the time, and even now he had a hard time recalling things. "I understand it would be more comforting to know that I could hear you, but I'm afraid whatever damage I took, it effected my memory. I have no recollection of the coma, only... the feeling of helplessness." Hane explained. "You shouldn't feel guilty for not being with me then when I woke." Hane answered, after hearing Tenshi explain how busy things had gotten. "I would assist you on this mission, however, the King has decide now is a good time to act as a responsible ruler again, and demands I stay here. His majesty worries for my health, irksome as it might be to have to remain here, I do understand the King's concerns... It may be that I am not entirely cured." Hane explained, trying to ease his words in a way that wouldn't make Tenshi worry, but that itself had always been an impossible feat. Hane almost chuckled, "I am used to you saying embarrassing things, Tenshi... though a part of me is also glad I can't remember them." Hane answered, before looking away and speaking again. "And... I missed your company as well, Tenshi. Of all the people in my life, you've been the only one I've known for the entirety of it, being kept from your side by that coma brought me more stress than I'd care to feel again."

"I'm just glad your memory isn't effected enough to forget who I am... Now that would be a disaster." Which was true, to come back to find he had amnesia to the worst degree would have killed her inside, and just that alone was good enough for her. And despite his reassurances, she still felt guilty, she never wanted him to be alone in that hopelessness, and she would damn well make it up to him when she got back. Chuckling slightly for a moment, before hardening her gaze again at the thought of him not being better, Tenshi tried finding the right words to say. "Damn right your not joining on this, god knows where we'll end up, and you do need to recover... So I must thank Kaku for this. I mean, I would love you to join, but recovery is more important." Tenshi took a moment to breath, before racking her mind for possible outcomes on why he may not be fully cured. "You were in a coma for a while, head wound no less and almost died... My guess would be headaches? Possible nerve problems that effect movement or body functions, you may even get lightheaded and exhausted after not long up... Things near impossible to cure I'm afraid, but easier to deal with in time... And rest, plenty of rest and don't over work yourself." It was things she remembered seeing from previous wars, but most were minor wounds compared to Hane's and they never lived through it, so god knows what the exact problems were. And as much as she would love to stay to check what was wrong, Tenshi couldn't, other matters to attend to, besides, she trusted her protégé turned master Nanari enough to help. Smiling softly, Tenshi rested her head onto his shoulder in the hug, breathing in. "I thought you weren't going to wake up... That I would lose someone so important to me because he's a self sacrificing idiot, a good and kind one, but an idiot none the less."

Hane huffed a little, looking off behind Tenshi, since she still seemed to insist on this hug. "I'm lead to believe that no amount of injuries will cause me to forget you, Tenshi." Hane commented back. Hane could roll his eyes, it was obvious Tenshi would worry enough to make Hane stay, just like Kakushin and the others. But it frankly annoyed the guard. This head-damage business was completely time wasting, when the guard could be doing more useful things than being grounded to Aura. He was glad Tenshi didn't see Hane's frustration at been schooled again at resting. But, he put his annoyance beside to listen to an expert's opinion on his head aches. Trauma, it seemed, physical trauma caused from the damage to his head, and spending so long in a coma. "I lost complete feeling of my arms." Hane stated, "In Sohul, when I was assisting the King." It sounded on par with the kind of symptoms Tenshi spoke of, which put some of Hane's questions at ease. But he himself didn't feel more relaxed by knowing what was wrong. What made him feel worse was that these issues were permanent. Not that over his long life-time, Hane wouldn't overcome them, but for at least a while they'd hinder the old guard's strength. Hane felt a small wave of uselessness, as the idea of being so handicapped for however long, before putting it to the back of his mind. "I've defeated many things before." Hane stated, feeling his friend's head move to his shoulder, taking a deep breath, "And I wasn't going to let it defeat me either. My injuries, the coma, all of it was a challenge I wanted to defeat." Hane added. His brow creased for a moment, "If idiocy is trying to protect those... most important to me, and trying to prevent their deaths at the hands of sudden and ruthless enemies, then I accept that I am indeed a fool. But a fool is what I'll remain, I'd repeat the actions I made the day Shiro fell a dozen times, if I had to." Hane said, sighing again. "And... I'd try to save even more souls. Too many died, that I could have helped to save."

Tenshi was glad he wouldn't forget her, otherwise there would have been problems. And she wasn't afraid to admit that, because the whole world would have shook if that was the case, so it wouldn't have been hidden either way. And Tenshi did see his frustrations, knowing it would frustrate him the 'bed rest' but didn't comment on it, knowing Hane, he wouldn't listen anyways, and while she wouldn't let him join her on this hunt, she knew he would be doing much here that was just as bad for his body and health. It was just the way he was. Her gaze dropped a little now knowing of his injuries, and how handicapped he would become of them, she would worry more for him in battles now then ever before, and it would frustrate him to no end. But again, knowing Hane, he would either ignore them, or fight his way through it... Nothing got him down, and if adapting to a new injury was the case, then she knew he would take it in stride. "You have defeated it, and will continue to do so with the after effects. I know you, and if anyone was going to beat this, then as bad as it probably sounds to say, I'm glad it was you." Giving a slight chuckle, Tenshi looked to Hane and smiled. "I know you would, and that's why I lo... Why your such an infuriating lovable pain to everyone. Its very noble of you, and a fool you may be, but remember, other will be affected by your death too, so no more close calls like that again okay? And you cant save everyone, but even one life saved makes a difference, and you saved two that day."

Hane had been pretty good over the last two hundred years. After he'd recovered from the injuries he'd received as a mortal, he'd never really hurt himself as much. Plus, Tenshi had always been there, healing the guard when he was particularly reckless. Hane certainly wasn't the worst Angel when it came to rushing into danger, a certain ex-student of his happened to be one of the worst Hane had known. Losing his wings for a start, but Hane wouldn't focus too much on his students and all the trouble they'd caused, a lot of them were reckless, and it all had to come from somewhere, Hane would just deny he had any influence on their rash attitudes. This new injury was very new on Hane, a handicap he wasn't looking forward to. Hane raised a brow to Tenshi, huffing a little. Her comment, whilst shrewd, made the Guard feel a little encouraged. "I trust your judgement more than my own, Tenshi." Hane replied simply, "Your confidence in my has always been welcome, and I'm grateful for it." Hane shrugged his shoulders a little. "I will try to avoid them." He said simply, before looking over to the direction the kids had gone. "I am glad they are both still safe. And... despite changes to her vocabulary, Sky has grown well, Art as well... His majesty should be proud of them."

Tenshi smiled to Hane, finally releasing him from the hug, knowing she would have to go soon, having no time to waste for Akvan, and she trusted Kaku enough to take care of her friend, hell, she knew everyone would, seeing how upset she was over it all, and god forbid if Takeo got a hold of him, the two might not talk much, but Tenshi knew the guy still respected Hane just as before, and wanted no harm to come to him. "Just as I trust your judgement when it comes to everyone but your own health." Tenshi gave him a pointed look for all the times he worried more about others then himself, but she was grateful for his comment all the same. And she knew he would try to avoid them, for the first few times, after that he would be back his old self, and she wouldn't change that for the world. Following his gaze, Tenshi gave a small smile and chuckle. "Probably the work of the Saints for the change in vocabulary. Sky had always been a child who never backed down from a fight, especially a verbal one, and probably adapted to how her victims spoke to her. And I have yet to either but with Art, I know if Sky was looking after him, then he cant be too bad. And I'm sure Kaku is... I'm assuming you are too making that comment. Ever the loving Grandpa..." Tenshi would have loved to see how he is with his own child, he may act as if he doesn't want one, but with how he acts around those he use to teach... Takeo, Kakushin, she knew deep down he wanted it. And he was such a joy with Sky and Art when they were younger. "You know, when we have population to the race return, I'm going to propose making sure all grow up with someone like family to them... You would be a fine candidate for someone. Have a child of your own in a sense, that wasn't like Kaku who became one... "
