Note: Takes place almost immediately after This thread.

Jasper hadn't spend long in the room, when he thought he'd never be allowed to leave. He stepped up into Baransu Tower, knowing he couldn't run, it would only make his disobedience worse, and therefore make the punishment worse. Jasper planned on begging them to reconsider, do whatever they wanted to him, just leave the innocent people of Minato alone, including his mother. The council were ready for him, the moment Jasper entered the room, the door behind him shut, a guard standing over it.

"Well then, Jasper.. Care to tell us how it went?" One member asked, their voice slipping out like a snakes. Jasper looked to the council, seeing some sigils of magic in use. One of which the leader knew was a true-teller, which had made it impossible for Jasper to bluff his way or lie his way out of being used by these people. Jasper swallowed, shaking his head as his eyes and face were still wet from the tears. "I couldn't do it." Jasper said, and soon there were disappointed sighs, mixed with some chuckles. "The Demon King has done nothing wrong! He's taken no lives, asked for no revenge on those he's lost! I won't kill someone innocent!" Jasper continued. One of the leading members lifted a hand. "Silence, boy. Your decision is your own, however, you must understand the consequences we are now forced to make." Some of the members began to stand, whispering into the ears of the rather full room of guards. Jasper hadn't really noticed just how many there were. "Leave Minato alone, there are children living there, families that have no say in this war. Do... do whatever you want to me as my punishment, but don't punish the people you rule for crimes they've not committed." Jasper asked of them. One of the younger members, a man with a broad face, short beard and dark hair laughed. "Oh, you'll be punished as well, you've failed our race too many times Jasper... it's time we changed the spear-head for Humanities rise, it seems the current one is too dull." And with a click of his finger, Jasper felt something hot on his back. His red curse flared up as one of the guards slammed their flaming fist into him, taking some damage from striking the cursed boy, but easily winding the surprised Jasper and knocking him forwards. One guard had attacked, and Jasper looked up as he assessed what kind of combat he was about to be put in, as nine more guards began to surround him.

This 'punishment' did not end until Jasper couldn't even stand, and he had to be dragged out by one member of the council and a couple of guards. They took Jasper out to the main entrance, planning on throwing him out into the quiet street like trash left to rot. The councilman hesitated as he noticed two figures gathering close to the tower's doors, though he kept on a wicked smile. Jasper was dragged out by the guards, who after reaching a few feet outside of the door, dropped the boy into a heap. The councilman raised his hands, "Ah good, hopefully we are met by a pair of capable Saints for once!" He addressed to the two who approached. "Take this boy back to your temple, and gather some of your members, pass the order to burn Minato to the ground, if you'd please." The councilman ordered calmly, his eyes beginning to glow with an ghostly green as he attempted to manipulate the two new Saints to do as he asked, a bending will magic that was lethal when used from a man of such power.

Hino was sick of this war, and sick of the council, he heard wind of what was asked of Jasper, and the consequences for not doing it. Hino would tolerate it no more. Jasper was not a weapon for their personal use, he was a friend, a leader, and it was time the council took out whatever fucking pole they shoved up their behinds and see that. Waiting outside the tower, Hino feared whatever state Jasper would return as, knowing his friend wouldn't meet the conditions. For good reason. But actually seeing the effects, sent Hino into a frenzy, one not Jasper nor Marzzi would be able to dispel. "You want us to burn innocent people to the ground? For what, because Jasper stood up to you fuckers and didn't do as asked... If they wanted the King dead, they should have done it themselves." Hino took hold of Jasper, carefully handing him over to Marzzi, before setting his hand alight and looking at it thoughtfully. "Burn Minato to the ground... Nah. Burn this tower to the ground right now... Oh, how I wish you people were worth it enough to do so."

Marzzi had obtained a lot of damage recently. He almost died because of Yume and her Kyuban pet-boyfriend thing. Almost had his body ripped apart. But he lived, partly because of Banto, but mostly because of that little Kyuban the ex-criminal had around. Being saved by Havok put a lot of things in perspective for Marzzi. Most of all, his respect for the others. He almost saw himself in Banto at one point, but watching others fight for his sake, despite their fears, reminding the brute of family. A family he was beginning to lose, because of a fight they made that was guaranteed to take them all down with it. If not by the Angels and Demons, then by one another. Marzzi liked fights, he was born into them, but fights were only worth it if they were won, by at least one side, be it the one Marzzi stood on or the one he fought against. Right now, this war would have no winners. Only those feeding off the chaos and turning it into power to rule by. Marzzi was still rather weak, able to walk around, but not much more. He still found Hino though, and after a short conversation with his brother, Marzzi agreed, or rather wouldn't let Hino stop him, from accompanying the small fry to Baransu Tower. They both wanted a change, or at least demand the council to stop what they were doing, specifically to Jasper. The kid shouldn't need to fight anymore, not in this pointless war. He should be spending time with his mother, all the short time the cursed kid had left.
Marzzi hid his opinions to himself, telling Hino he just wanted to make sure the small fry didn't get his ass kicked, as to be honest, after everything else Marzzi had done he was a little embarrassed to explain his change of opinion since the start of the war. It didn't remain that way for long. Seeing how Jasper had been treated, and the councilman who approached them both, Marzzi's fists clenched. He just wished he had a gun on him right now, but being bed-ridden until know meant Marzzi was all out of his precious weapons. Then the councilman spoke, trying to use a hypnosis magic on Hino and him. Marzzi blinked a little, huffing as he shook off the effect, especially when Jasper was handed to him. Jasper's curse burnt, still effect even whilst Jasper couldn't move, so Marzzi winced a little, but he held up the kid through it. Taking off of what Hino began to do, threatening the councilman, Marzzi finally spoke up. "I spend a lot of time protectin' what I thought was right, for a time that meant guardin' shit-heads like you. I thought it was just, and I felt good for doin' so. But just listenin' to you yap doesn't feel good anymore." Marzzi growled. And then, in one swift motion, he grabbed the gun he'd leant to Jasper from the kid's belt, lifted it confidently to the councilman's head and fired. The bang was resounding, and after a moment of silence, the Noble's legs caved in, and his limp body fell to the ground like a true pile of trash. Marzzi had the gun still point up, smoke coming from the barrel. "But that right there, felt real good."

Marzzi smirked a little, glancing over to Hino. "We got two options brother. Our leader needs some patchin' up right now, but there's a whole bucket of shit-heads still waitin' up there, and these two..." Marzzi pointed the gun towards the two guards, both rather flustered, despite their job description, from the sudden change of events. Marzzi's eyes moved back and forth from them to Hino. "It's your call, small fry." Marzzi grunted, giving Hino a grin.

Hino for once was glad of his and Marzzi's diverse differences. Because while they both are on different pages with personality, they follow the same story, and he was glad the other was there to do exactly what Hino wanted to do, but was too 'nice' to hold back. So watching the man be killed in the blink of an eye, didn't even faze Hino, instead brought a smile on his face, and Marzzi a clap on the back as he considered their options. "Oh how I would love to burn this place to the ground. But we have a brother to help, and we need to do so soon." Taking a breath, Hino looked to the two guards, before smirking and moving his gaze to the wall behind, setting it alight and burning a new symbol. Three skulls, one plain, one with a halo, and another with Demon horns, showing how this war has proved that either way, all races die together and the same... All thanks to the council. Taking Jasper off Marzzi, and pushing through the curse's pain, Hino began heading off for a healer. "Marzzi... Feel free to do whatever to the guards. But those up top aren't worth it, not more then getting our brother here well again."

Marzzi have Hino a grin after his brother didn't seem to object to his sudden actions. It was a change of heart on the brute's end, whilst demonstrated in a violent manner, it in itself was a positive thing. This war was pointless, as was the so-called 'conflict' holding Humans, Angels and Demons at the ends of one another's swords. And Marzzi didn't have time for pointless stuff like this. He had new weapons to build, a snotty-nosed apprentice to shape up into a great inventor like Marzzi, plenty of others that needed the big gorilla to train them up to be strong for their own sakes, holding their heads high to the future. Because right now, no one was going to get a future if this stupid fight kept on going. Nodding to Hino, Marzzi watched his brother's little display on the side of the Tower. It was a place Marzzi was once employed to protect, but now he relished in the chance to see it light up, with a rather powerful symbol of the Saints feelings. Marzzi chuckled, returning to Hino with a pat on his back. "Very nice, small fry, you're quite the artist." Marzzi replied, carefully handing over Jasper. "We should take him to Baxton, somethin' tells me it ain't safe to look for help around here, not that any doctor's gonna want to help a cursed kid." Marzzi suggested, before giving the two guards a grin. "Now then boys, payin' attention?" Marzzi asked them, before moving the gun a little and firing twice, a bullet entered one knee on each guard. They both fell against one another in pain. "You'll only need two legs between you both for this job... Go tell the rats up there that the Saints ain't theirs anymore, they can take any power they had over us and shove it up their asses for all I care. An' make sure they know that if they even touch one of our family again, they'll all get a bullet through the eye." Marzzi ordered, the two guards losing all resolve now, whimpering and nodding quickly to the request. They began to limp back inside, whilst Marzzi helped Hino move Jasper as quick as they could out of this sick city, full of infesting Nobles and monsters no longer considered Human. "Once we've got the kid some help, you an' me need to run to Minato, alright? There's a lot of innocent people down there, that are gonna get turned to charcoal if we don't warn 'em."
