It was hard to find a specific time to go meet with Sky. She was a prisoner here, enclosed somewhere without a choice in when others visited. But, Havok had some brain, and he knew kids needed sleep. He didn't visit at night, knowing the small Demon would be napping, and it was best to let Art sleep rather than wake him whilst Havok had his lessons. During the day was hard, because half the Saints wandering around weren't so pleased to see Havok around the prisoners, giving them interactions they didn't deserve in their position. He gave them both food too, better food than what they were 'allowed'. Along with a book, Havok brought snacks, for Sky to teach him more about, and to share. Trying to find the time and chance to go down and visit the two little flying people was hard. And being caught wasn't nice, depending on who caught Havok. The first time he'd gone, Jasper had found Havok wandering around carrying a whole lot of books towards the cell. He'd encouraged it, the leader claiming it made things easier on the others if Havok was happy to look after the prisoners and keep them occupied. After that, Havok just assumed it was alright to do so. He'd merrily go to the cell, carrying books and food and all that. But a few occasions he'd been caught by Marzzi or Banto, unable to explain to them properly that Jasper had let Havok to do it. He either couldn't explain right, or the two didn't care. Either way, Havok had been punished. Marzzi had knocked the boy out for a good few hours, and Banto had decided to deprive Havok's supply of blood until the Kyuban begged for it back, after stating that Banto was his owner, of course.
They were horrible punishments, that would usually get the message through to Havok that he should stop doing the thing that upset his masters. However, this time, Havok ignored them. No matter the punishment, Havok wanted to see his... small teacher. So now he just had to choose times when he knew it was safe, acting like a spy as he rushed around the Temple to collect the right things. A few bread rolls and tasty snacks from the kitchen, and a book Havok had been trying to read on his own. Sometimes Sky was allowed back in the library, in which she'd chose a book for Havok to try and read. From there, he simply went to her to explain any words he didn't understand. He didn't understand a lot of words in this particular book, but enjoyed it from reading the words he did know, and the pictures. Havok glanced down at the cover, before taking a turn at the door to the dungeon. He reached the cage's side, tapping the metal a little with the book. "I.. am here." Havok said carefully, picking from his growing list of known words. "Havoot!" Came a very young, little voice. Havok's red eyes looked across to the little golden haired toddler, smiling as Art came over. "Art!" The teenager mimicked, patting the Demon child's head. "I br... bring food and a books. How... how is Art?" Havok stated. "Yes!" The toddler replied, getting a little less attention as Havok looked over to Sky, giving her a smile as well.

Sky had long forgotten what day and time it was down here trapped, and long since stopped looking for a escape, instead using all her time to help her brother grow unaffected by all this, and helping to teach Havok. She enjoyed having a friend in this place, not because of the extra food, or how he would bring her books to read, none of that, but because his company was the best thing in the world. She hated it when her friend got told off for coming to hang out, and more then once had Sky had arguments with Marzzi, those getting more colourful and fun to be part of each day, Banto wasn't one she exactly liked complaining too, but she still did so, especially when he denied food from Havok... She still had to look into a way to get some spares for him down here in case that happened again. Looking to her brother, Sky felt terrible that he was growing up stuck down here without their fathers, Art growing, learning to walk and talk and they weren't here to witness it. Sky would tell him stories of their parents, so that he never grew up thinking he didn't have them, so that he could look to them once they had escaped, taking Havok with them of course. Smiling as she heard Havok, Sky gave a chuckle as Art went over first, ignoring the story she was telling him, Havok had learnt a lot with her, it was easier to hold conversations with him now that he understood, and Art was talking a liking to him, which was always lovely to see. Getting up, Sky went over and stood next to Art, just in case he fell over, before smiling to Havok. "And how's Havok today? Marzzi and Banto haven't given you much grief right?" Sky always liked to know what the two had done while they had been apart, so she could reprimand them later on.

Havok's hand patted down harder on Art's head, ruffling the little guy's hair until he chuckled. The tiny Demon was getting less tiny, which was both weird, and oddly good to see. Plus, him suddenly knowing words made Havok happy, if a little competitive to make sure he was always one step ahead of the vocabulary ladder than the Demon toddler. Havok's expression went funny after Sky's question, going from confused to understanding to confused again. "Grief? Havok's owner has tried to do bad thing. Havok av...avoided? Marzzi.. Stupid has tried less." Havok explained. Indeed, Banto caught Havok again not to long ago, making a false threat to turn the boy back into a monster with Vadium's help. It was impossible to do, but Havok didn't know that. He didn't want to become a bad Kyuban again, he liked being the good one that Sky said he was. So if Havok could help it, he tried to avoid his owner as much as possible, even running away now and then when he called. "Today others are not here. Doing things outside." Havok stated, before wriggling a hand into his pocket to pull out something. On other trips, Havok and the two prisoners could only talk and interact through the cage bars, but not so much today. Havok showed them the small silver key. "Stupid was sleeping." Havok muttered, grinning to Sky before getting up and going towards the door. Unlocking it, he carried both himself and his stuff inside the cell, shutting the door behind him. He'd like to risk letting them have some freedom, if only for a bit. But, Havok's punishment would be bad enough stealing the key and going into the jail with his friends, let alone letting them out. Art seemed overjoyed by the concept of being able to go right up to Havok, without bars between them. Havok knelt down, letting the toddler fall or hug him, whatever the chubby little boy did as he latched around the Kyuban's arm. "Better when Havok is inside." Havok stated, smiling to Sky, letting her know that he was well aware of the consequences of stealing and all of this. He gestured to the basket with food. Art stared at it with golden eyes, though only a few things in there were really good for a toddler.

Sky gave a little smile realising that Havok still hadn't gotten use to all words, but knew well enough, and really was learning, but it was still amusing seeing his confused expression. "Grief, in this context its another word for pestering you, keep going on about something, that sort of thing. And avoided is right, well done Havok! Glad to hear Marzzi has tried less, let me know if he starts up again, I'll give him a beating." It was nice to hear, and by the looks of things, Banto hadn't tried much either, otherwise Havok might not be here now. Sky gave a smile at the key, knowing now she had taught Havok terrible but wonderful things, she was corrupting him, and she hoped he wouldn't get told off for it. "Well done Havok, I'm proud of you!" If it was undermining Marzzi, then there was no question about it. Chuckling as Art went right over for a hug, Sky wasn't far behind, going to hug her friend herself, glad that there wasn't bars in between for once. "Definitely better with you inside." Sky followed her brothers gaze to the basket chuckling slightly, of course that would be what he noticed, though another thought entered her mind as well. "How much trouble will you be in for this? I don't want anything bad happening to you... Art! Don't go searching through the basket without permission..." Sky just shook her head.

Havok was much like Art when it came to learning words, though he was rather far ahead from the toddler. He was still congratulated for getting words right, which even for the teenager felt nice. He tried to remember what Grief meant, filing the word away with what other words he assumed it went with. Havok shrugged his shoulders a little, "Stupid has been-ed busy. He fights lots." Havok stated, seeing less and less of Marzzi each day as the brute seemed occupied in chasing down a particular enemy of his. Havok gave Sky a long look, thinking quiet on it, before trying to figure out what expression to give, he decided on smiling slightly. "Sky sh...should not give him a beating. Marzzi is strong, beating is... not end well." Havok replied with concern. He couldn't tell when Sky meant what she said or not. Whether it was her own self-confidence or not, Havok always felt on edge when the little Angel suggested getting involved violently with others. He hated the idea of anyone hurting Sky or Art, and the Kyuban didn't want to think about them being punished rather than he. Havok felt back as he knelt down and the two small people hugged him, carefully wrapping himself around the two. Havok thought on his punishment for this. "Some trouble. Trouble small..er, than if we went out... outside." He replied simply. He watched with a smile as the little toddler mess around looking at all the food, until his sister told him not to, then Art waddled towards the side of the cage. "Out! Out!" Art said, pointing to the bars, holding one with his tiny hand. Havok's smile dropped a little. He'd really like to let them both out, and for Art to see what being outside of a cage was like, but Havok just couldn't. What he was doing now was against the rules sure, but it was nothing compared to how serious freeing the prisoners would be, for all three of them.

Sky knew Marzzi must fight a lot, and was probably looking for someone when doing so, he seemed more and more on edge whenever Yume was mentioned, and it was probably killing him on the inside knowing he couldn't find her. It brought a smile to her face, and Sky filed it in the back of her head to mention later, the next time her good ol' 'friend' was on guard duty. "One of these days, Stupid will meet his match in a fight, and I will laugh at his loss when that happens." Chuckling slightly at the thought, Sky turned her attention onto what she herself would like to do to Marzzi, how badly she wanted to hurt him, even if she knows that right now, she had no hope in a fair fight... One day though. "I wont give him a beating, don't worry, I know it wont end well for me... But I am going to annoy him more, seeing as he has no right to hurt me for doing that." It was the one thing she liked about getting along somewhat well with people here, like Jasper, Havok and Hino, they wouldn't let her or Art get hurt. Sky's gaze dropped knowing Havok was going to get in trouble for this, and instantly thought to push him outside the cage again so that it wouldn't be as bad as finding him in here... Or working out a way to get him out of punishment, only coming up with one plan. "When you leave the cage... Give me the key, and I'll pretend I stole it from Marzzi... Then you wont get in trouble for this..." Sky didn't want him in trouble, she knew how bad it could be... Or we hope someone nice found him. Sky wanted to cry when Art reached beyond the cage, knowing she couldn't give her brother what he wanted... Getting up and dragging him into her lap, Sky ignored Havok for a moment to explain. "I'm sorry Art, you cant go beyond these bars, not unless my mean brute man lets us under his watchful eyes. I want to let you, but you need to be patient, while we wait for our daddies to come and get us." Sky knew it wasn't that simple, but Art didn't, and she was hoping that Art would except that, but clearly he did not, once the large wailing scream emitted from him. Sky knew that thses tears wouldn't be easy to stop like the others, and she resorted to holding him close and whispering what she could to him. "Shh, don't cry Art, please. I don't like your tears, we'll be able to visit the outside world one day... I'll try and talk Stupid into letting us for a moment yeah? But only if you stop crying... Please." Sky hated it when her brother cried.

Havok was relieved Sky wouldn't actually throw a punch as Marzzi. The brute did follow the rules and not harm Sky or Art, but he was the kind of person to use the excuse of self-defence just to do so. What made Havok so fearful of it was that his mind couldn't comprehend how to react. If he fought for Sky, which meant going against one of his masters. And the consequences of harming a master were far worse than any rules Havok already happily broke. "Annoy Marzzi is safest. Sky should not fight Stupid. It... It w..would make I upset." Havok replied, letting his concerned features change and relax a little more. Havok frowned at Sky's suggestion, not really knowing why she wanted the key from him, other than making sure Havok wasn't in trouble. The boy thought on it, before shaking his head. "Havok is... fine with get in trouble. I is not fine with Sky get in trouble." Havok answered, hoping Sky got what he meant. Havok looked away quickly when Art was looking to get out, feeling a pain in his heart that the Kyuban didn't like, or understand well. And for the Kyuban's sensitive hearing, Havok almost jumped right up when Art starting crying, his face in shock whilst Havok tried to continue to look away. It was really important to Art to get outside, if his loud cries were anything to go by. But, Art seeing the outside world was a slim idea. Stupid certainly wouldn't let the two outside the Temple, where the sky was above them and not a ceiling. Because they could fly, and Marzzi wouldn't trust that. Havok hated hearing tears, and seeing them, and Sky sounded like she had the same opinion. Havok glanced to the basket, and then the book. He thought of an idea, bringing a pencil out from his pocket and moving over to the book. He opened up the last page, which didn't have words or anything on it. "Sorry, poor pages." Havok muttered, before tearing the page out. He placed the paper down before quickly drawing on it. Havok then shuffled towards Sky and Art, tapping the latter's shoulder. "Art, Art, look." Havok said, getting the reddened eyes of the toddler to look his way before showing him the picture. "This is Bear," Havok stated, pointing to the picture of a round and bubbly looking bear he'd drawn. Art even touched the paper curiously. "Bear is Art friend, and he is... happy. But, Bear would be not happy if Art is sad." Havok added, until the little toddler went quieter, sniffing and whimpering a little. Havok smiled, patting Art's head. "If Art keeps Bear s...safe, for Havok. Then I take Art and Sky outside l..later, yes?"

Sky didn't want to make Havok upset, not while others did so, so despite how much she wanted to, Sky gave Havok a small smile. "Sky wont fight Mr Stupid..." That doesn't mean she wouldn't try anything else, or hope that another would fight him, and she wouldn't cut back with annoying him... If she can get away with annoying Banto, then Marzzi was a walk in the park. Dropping her shoulders and giving Havok a look, Sky gave a little huff of breath in annoyance. "But if I wasn't fine with you getting in trouble... I can look after myself, you shouldn't have to protect me all the time, let me take some of the burden too..." Havok was here helping her and Art, she hated knowing he got in trouble for it, and Sky wanted some of that blame... They can do what they want to Havok, she's bait, nothing but a prisoner needing to be kept alive... Art refused to quieten up, that being until Havok came over with a picture of the bear... Sky wanted to wince knowing where the paper came from, but Havok was only trying to help, his intentions good, so Sky held back. Giving Havok a smile as he managed to calm down Art, in a way even Sky wouldn't have thought of at this moment, her smile turned worried. If Havok got in trouble for this, she couldn't even begin to imagine what would happen if he took them outside... "Art, buddy, why don't you take Bear and find a safe spot for him and we can then find you food, yeah?" Watching as Art took the image and ran to the other side of the cage where his bed was. Sky turned her gaze onto her friend. "Havok, taking us outside? You could be killed for that, Arts going to look after that image as if his life depended on it... I don't want you hurt..."

Havok was relieved when the crying stopped, and his ears were as well. Slumping back against the floor, the Kyuban's warm red eyes watched little Art calm down. The toddler still sniffled, but he stared long and hard at the image with complete interest in it, chewing on his thumb a little as he did so. And as Art stopped crying, that pain Havok had in his chest also stopped, which made him glad and a little more understanding on what the pain was. Havok watched Art waddle off to his bed, before looking back to Sky. She looked concerned, and so Havok dedicated his attention to every word. And after hearing Sky, Havok needed to think through what he wanted to say. It was hard for the Kyuban to think up words before saying them, especially to explain what emotions and thoughts Havok currently had. But, he eventually spoke. "Havok was not talking for... years. I was bad Kyuban, a s.. savage? Sky teaches Havok talking, and calls him good Kyuban." Havok stated, shuffling closer to his friend and smiling. "Can Sky see it? Havok been killed before. I have life again with Sky and Art. The small people make I happy. So I wanted to make Sky and Art happy. Getting in trouble is fine. Havok... handle it." He explained, taking a breather to calm down his overheating mind. There was one thing Havok hoped didn't happen. He was fine getting in trouble, but death wasn't something he really wanted. And he'd only be killed if the two kids weren't brought back at some point. Even if Havok was spotted letting them out, so long as they were brought back, his punishment wouldn't be fatal. Which meant putting his trust in the two small people. Havok made a confused face, "Sky don't want Havok hurt. It mean we.. all come back, yes?" Havok asked, trying to make sure of his concerns before remaining determined to let Sky and Art feel some fresh air.

Sky let her shoulders slump as she listened to Havok, probably the longest he had ever said at once, with everything correct. She really didn't want him in trouble, was willing to put herself on the line if it meant getting him out of it. So she could hear his concern, and she was fully willing to do anything he asked, especially after that little speech. "You have never been a bad Kyuban, just confused in the head, and been ordered to do things by bad people. And I hoped I managed to make you happy, you deserve it. And though we have little to offer, the best I can being to teach you things... But you make us happy too... me especially... I didn't have any friends before a while ago, too caught up reading to socialise, and though that changed, being here, having you as a friend, is the best feeling." Sky wanted Havok to know his presence also made them happy, and that she trusted him, so that he could really trust in what she was about to say next, and understand what she has to say about it. "I don't want you hurt, but there's many looking for us, I just know it... If we go outside, one of them will try to intercept to take us back... Art... I will have to send Art back with them if that happened, but I promise, I wont run, nor will I take Art and run off if none find us... When I leave, I'm taking you with me, away from your masters, they don't treat you right, and I want you to see that you can live how you want." Sky knew that those looking for her and Art would swarm in like vultures the second they hit open air, and though she cant deny getting her brother out, she wont leave Havok behind. "If the worst comes to the worst, I'll just have it all blamed on me, I have my ways..."

Havok said what he thought was right, if he drew it, the words would be coming right out of his heart, not his mind. He didn't know the words for how he'd spoken, other than knowing his words were strong. And he felt that strength coming from Sky's words as well. "Best feeling." Havok repeated, liking that pairing of two words. The Kyuban smiled warmly, nodding a little. "I did not... know friend before. Now, best feeling." Havok replied sincerely. He looked around to the basket and book, before back to Sky. "Sky teach me words... and more. Havok has best feeling towards I's friends." He added in, explaining how in a simple year Havok had learnt more about what life could be like than he'd ever learnt under Banto's care. As Banto and Vadium's lackey, Havok thought his life was to be ordered like a living weapon. Now, he thought life was about his friends, making them happy and feeling happy himself. It was obvious that Sky and Art had changed Havok's views on many things for the better. "Havoot.." Art mumbled, Havok turning his head to see the little boy standing nearby, half a thumb in his mouth as he looked nervously towards the Kyuban. Havok smiled, patting Art's head to comfort him before the little Demon decided that was confirmation to climb onto his lap. A little taken back at first, used to hugs and not toddlers sitting on him, Havok quickly got comfortable, wrapping his arms around the golden haired kid as Art messed with one of Havok's blue sleeves. He frowned when listening to Sky's promise, and everything else. Havok should act like a Saint, and say there was no way either child was leaving for good. But, he glanced to Art, and thought that if it so happened that these people got Art, then Havok could accept that. He didn't really know who the people were exactly, but if Sky knew them and they knew her, then Havok assumed they were nice people too. Havok smiled for a moment, before it dropped, and his brow creased a little. "I have Owner." Havok stated, "Treat right, or not right. I cannot leave, I have Owner." The words were one's he'd been taught by Banto to say, using Havok's starvation as a stimulus to force them into his head. "Sky and Art must not comes to the worst. Havok promise. If Art send back with them, I would not... grief it?"

Sky never thought she would have friends, too caught up with things to make them, and whenever she did try by some fluke, she knew far too much for others to like her. So just having Havok as a friend was enough, and knowing he felt similar, was a much nicer feeling, and she wouldn't abuse that for the sake of escape, because she would happily spend her days trapped here, if it meant keeping Havok as a friend. Smiling as Art got comfortable in the others lap, Sky reached over to rub fingers through his hair, ruffling the locks. Her smile turned to a frown though as Havok spoke of his 'masters' and how he needed to see them, it seemed they had tried getting stupid and petty thoughts and beliefs into his head. Sky would find of a way to fix that. "You don't have an owner, you are your own person Havok, you make your own choices and decisions. No one own you, okay? If you want to leave, you have every right to." Cuddling up to Havok as he promised for things not to come to the worst, Sky had a feeling that it wasn't that simple, that things would go bad, they always did, especially with a war on. "So you wouldn't hate me if I sent Art back with them?" That's what Sky feared the most, Havok hating her for doing so, even if he says he wouldn't grief over it, doesn't mean he wouldn't hate her.

Art was a comfy addition to Havok's lap. He didn't know how to feel about being climbed on by these kids, having never been close enough before. But, it was comforting. And he didn't know why, but Havok didn't want to let go of little Art, the tyke was cuddled tight, like some living soft toy that Havok didn't want to part with. He liked this feeling of friendship, and being close to others. Before Sky was around to teach Havok about all of this, he didn't dare go near others. Staying up in banisters and away from people. Fearing they'd hurt him for no reason or confuse the Kyuban. Now he wanted nothing more than be to in a cage with two friends, it all made Havok very confused. His face shrivelled with such confusion as he thought about it, before letting the thought pass as Sky spoke. "Own person. Havok is not person. Kyuban. Kyuban not person." Havok replied, shaking his head back and forth. "Not want to leave. Leave is bad. I is hungry if leave. Havok owner feed him, s... so, can not leave." Havok explained, finding a hard time trying to explain it. He couldn't leave, his mind couldn't even comprehend leaving yet. He was always by Banto's side, and in this Temple to defend it. He was fed here, hurt here, taught and trained here. Havok couldn't understand leaving this place, even if his friends left it. Moving one arm to let Sky into the cuddle, Havok sighed to her question. "Havok wouldn't hate. Can not hate. Art... sent back if Art and Sky wants." Havok replied. His eyes gazed over to the food and book. "Sky and Art... hold Havok. I's can not move. Sh... should we read and... eat?"

Sky hated how Havok didn't believe he was his won person. Just because he was what's known as a Kyuban, doesn't make him any less then the others, it just means he eats differently, and there's nothing wrong with that. And she hated that he didn't want to leave, be it because against it all this was his home, or because he feared what laid beyond when to his own desires, she didn't know. And while Sky wouldn't push the issue, she did have one last thing to say on the matter. "Kyuban or not, you are living, and that makes you no less a person then anyone else. Ignore whatever Banto or the others have told you, and trust in me, your friend. Okay? And, I understand, but know I wouldn't leave you alone out there, I will help to feed you, teach you how to live as yourself, not as some slave to anyone. If you don't want to leave that's fine, but don't make that choice based on thinking you will be alone." It was all Sky could give in place of that, not knowing his full motives for it, but she hoped it was enough. Taking a small breath, cuddling closer to Havok, Sky looked up to him. "Sky would very much like it if Art can go back... I know our parents must miss us, and they have already missed so much of his life..." That's all Sky wanted right now, was to free her brother. Looking over to the food and book while chuckling, Sky got out the hug quickly to bring over the two, and placing them so that Havok can pick things out, before settling back into the cuddle. "Don't let the little monkey here have too much, his naps not too soon after, and what book did you pick out today? I have yet to actually check." Sky would have now, but she was far to comfortable.

It was hard to pinpoint everything Havok valued in life after only a year of knowing how to even value things. He did care for Sky and Art. They'd should him happiness and understanding in many ways over just a year. Sky taught Havok things without hurting him to get them to stick in his mind, like Banto did. And Havok preferred her way of learning to his master's. But that didn't mean the lessons his master gave him were forgotten. Havok knew the rules he had to keep. Not take blood from someone who didn't want him to. Never bite someone. Never talk back or attack Banto or the others. And Never leave the Temple or Banto without permission to do so. He relied on Banto heavily. Whilst Sky taught Havok so much, he didn't know how long he'd last in the insecurity of the outside world without such rules cut into him, almost literally. "Havoot friend!" Art suddenly stated, the Kyuban looking down to see the bright little Demon's smile. He tried to match it, before listening to Sky. "Scared. Havok t.. trust Sky. Sky and Art are friend. Will be alone not... but... will be scared." Havok explained. He did trust Sky, with his life almost, especially in situations where he'd be punished simply for talking to her or offering to take them outside. But there was much more danger in Havok taking them both away forever. He knew Banto would hunt him down and hurt him, possibly kill Sky and Art as well. And so it made Havok scared to try and comprehend the dangers of leaving just yet. Sky made it sound like giving Art back was a must do thing. And Havok tried to make sure to remember it was important. These people must really like Art for Sky to be so determined to give him back to them. Havok did frown though. "Parents?" He mumbled, confused by the word, though he felt like he'd heard it before. Art made some noises when the food came by, and Havok casually brought one of the softer snacks to Art's level, to allow the toddler to snatch it and feast. It was hard to move with two little ones on him, but Havok pushed the book onto it's front. He read the words with a funny look on his face, before replying. "Th..the g..guid-e to... d-r-a-g-o-n-s... and they.. re habitat-e..s." Havok stated, practising his reading skills. It wasn't a child's book, since it came with few pictures and a lot of writing. But easy books weren't around in a place like this.
