Note: Any Angels who might be in Shiro, so Sky, Ikiru, Hane etc, to reply with reaction.
Banto never expected plans to go this well. He'd not anticipated being welcomed into the Saints, especially when one of the officers who'd constantly arrested Banto in the past was working there. His plans would have probably worked with or without the Saints, the only ones he needed to convince were the council nobles. And, they accepted the evidence and claims of the criminal very easily, almost too easily. It had made Banto a little suspicious of the nobles and their sanity, but it didn't matter. Banto got what he wanted, a war, and the chance to show the power of Humanity and finally rid them of the sky plagues. Banto stood on the front of the ship, looking up to the golden clouds above them. Beyond that layer of clouds, previously a warning sign to Human invaders, was the target. The criminal shook a little, not from fear, but from excitement to see one of his dreams realised. There would be no way the Angels would refuse a war after this, and the Demons would join them. The Saint moved back from the front, finding the mop of pink hair that was different from all the clones currently running the ship. "Todd, we'll be up there soon right? And you've made sure we'll appear by the castle too?" Banto asked, and the ship captain nodded his head, lips unmoving as the mute Todd gave his simple answer. Banto nodded his thanks, and spotted Marzzi finally coming out from the bowels of the ship.
The officer was warming up to Banto, since they both shared one view that got them on equal terms. Their desire for a war, and the plan they'd both devised together. Marzzi chuckled. "Well, I didn't think I'd get to see a day like this so soon. You work pretty quick Banto." Marzzi commented. Banto smiled slightly and shrugged his shoulders, "I need to repay Sohul for everything in the past, and finally give our kind the shove needed for a better future... how is it?" Banto asked, quieter. "You mean my baby? She's ready to be fired, Destiny is gonna make a hole right through those clouds." Marzzi mumbled, giggling like a child. Banto left the conversation there, and asked the others to be quiet as well. It was dark up in Aura, and the dark painted ship the Saints flew would remain stealthy for at least part of their arrival in Aura. Banto looked over one of the sides, waiting for the golden clouds to clear, and pointed his gaze towards the white walls of Shiro. Todd really did make sure they appeared right next to the castle, the white stone of Shiro was almost blinding from where it sat only a small distance away. Banto just hoped Marzzi hadn't gone too supernova with the weapon, or else the ship might just get some collateral damage from this. Everything was silent, those watching over the sides looked through the windows of the mighty castle to check for Angel scouts of guards. The silence was suffocating for Banto, but they needed to wait for the ship to align properly for the canon to be fired. All that could be heard was the hum of the magic engine, and the creak of wood. But then, there came a call from inside the castle, followed by more and more as the whole structure was alerted to the Saint's presence. Banto gritted his teeth, pushing off of his heels and darting down to where Marzzi was waiting by the canon. "How long?" Banto asked, and Marzzi didn't reply for a moment, before smirking. "We're ready." He growled excitedly. Banto smiled properly, looking to Shiro for a lasting picture of what the home base of Angels once looked like, before nodding to Marzzi. The weapons expert needed no more ushering. A few button clicks, and the air exploded with noise. The canon pulsed backwards, red fire and smoke erupted from its end, and Destiny was shot directly at the heart of Shiro. Banto thought the initial noise alone was enough to rupture his ears, but as he listened to Marzzi's triumphant laughter, Banto watched the bomb hit. He doubted even the previous God of Destruction could reach such a level of explosions, in an instant, most of Shiro was covered in a ball of flames. What wasn't caught in the blast was ripped apart from the sheer power and the blessed clouds of Aura were all blown and dissolved. The noise, it sunk down to the core, not just attacking the ears, but rupturing the gut as well. Banto felt genuinely sick after the tremendous boom had passed through him, but held himself together to watch the fires slowly die down. They revealed no structure underneath... Shiro was completely destroyed. Those on the ship were silent, but the air was filled with screams of terror, and cries for help or desperation. Those not incinerated in the blast were burnt or trapped and crushed, dying a painful death.
Pity was beyond Banto, this was what Angels rightly deserved, he just hoped the King wasn't amongst the casualties. He wanted the King of Angels to suffer, listening to the disappearing hope of his subjects and knowing what power Humans had that he'd so ignorantly refused to believe. Banto was still lost in the awe of everything, and the overwhelming feeling of victory. So Marzzi decided to speak up and be the one to order, waving his hand towards others on the ship. "Well she did her job alright! But this battle ain't done yet, grab a weapon or prepare to attack any Angel you see. Destroy their islands, and shoot any who try to escape out of the skies!" Marzzi ordered, leaving Banto to watch the glorious massacre continue to unfold.

Sky regretted waking up that morning believing everything to be the same as yesterday. It started off that way, her reading to Art a book many had told her was far too complex for such a young boy... But she knew it would help in the long run. She was only through half the first chapter when a ringing in her ears set out, and the screams echoing throughout. Closing the book, Sky lifted Art into her arms and on shaky steps moved to where she could her the commotion going on... It seemed to be close to home, for all the days she decided to head far away from Shiro to enjoy the day with her brother. But what she looked to was the last thing she expected... Shiro, her home destroyed. Sky hid her brothers face into the crook of her neck, not wanting him to see this, before debating with herself. Many were injured and dead down there, being killed as she watched... She wanted nothing more than to help, to see if her father was one in the rubble. But the more logical side of her brain told Sky to run, find a safe place out of Aura, taking Art with her. Aunt Nanari's seemed the best place, and Papa and Father would know where to look then, and Nanari had protection. Taking a breath, Sky turned from the scene, body screaming to turn back, she needed away from the commotion, hoping to either make it out of Aura alone, or find someone who could help them.

Post by Hane Light on Sept 24, 2015 21:51:46 GMT
One morning Hane finally got to the duties he was used to. No following children around or baby-sitting a toddler. Hane was allowed to patrol, along with other guards. Rumours were going around, of grander tensions evolving in Humans. They were out for conflict, as the rumours suggested, so Hane requested to be allowed to patrol rather than look after the royal children for once. The morning seemed so peaceful, and Hane wondered if his small fears about the rumour were even worth it. But, whilst he scouted around the back of Shiro, where the castle cut off to form a small village of sorts, with islands dotted with different houses in them, he heard a commotion echo it's way to him. "A ship!" "Appeared from the clouds!" "Looks to belong to the Saints, or maybe a Clan!" Came the random reports of others on duty. Hane frowned, preparing his sword and wings to take off and get to the front of Shiro. But then the whole ground shook, and Hane's rough wings almost tore from his back as an explosion ruptured, and engulfed the castle just in front of him. The first moment was nothing, as the initial winds of impact died, the force of the fiery blast continued to charge, and they slammed Hane, along with plenty of debris, back against a wall. The Guard watched the pieces of stone and glass come flying towards him, escaping the horrific flames. With his sword, Hane blocked what he could, but one piece of debris managed to hit. It punched against his chest, too blunt to pierce Hane, but enough to smash the Sun badge he wore. A token from the King, lost now from this sudden attack.
For a first in his long life, Hane was at a loss of how to react to this. In an instant, Shiro was destroyed, and above the smoke, Hane could see the enemy ship, and the dying screams of Angels trapped between him and the assailants. He wanted to move forwards to help who he could, but the ship continued to fire, smaller rounds, all over the area. Some even passed Hane, smashing into the smaller islands behind him and causing them to collapse. One of the furthest he could see was that of the library, and Hane's eyes widened. He recalled that Sky was seen taking Art up there. There was a deep, rumbling instinct of Hane, that overtook his reason for once. The guard didn't think, he just flew as hard and fast as he could to the library. Others were fleeing from the other islands in confusion, and as they passed Hane, he could hear gunfire, and beams of magic followed by more morbid cries. The Saints didn't plan on letting any Angel get below the clouds, no doubt they were soon going to aim for the quiet library island as well. Hane noticed a figure leaving, smaller than the others, and flew toward her. "Sky!" Hane called over the terrible commotion. He was faster than the young girl, easily able to hover next to to the princess. Hane probably didn't look much like himself, a face of panic was expressed, and of failure. "Pass Art to me, we need to find an opening to get below the clouds, so follow me very close." Hane ordered, carefully taking the small Demon, keeping him close. Hane had his sword away, and offered his free hand to Sky to take.
Once prepared, the Angel looked at the explosions of magic around him, waiting for a perfect moment. A bullet whizzed passed Hane's head, and exploded just in front of him. "Now!" Hane commanded, and he pulled himself and Sky forward, towards the ball of red flames, at the right moment to pass right through it as it retracted to become harmless smoke. Smoke to cover them, Hane managed to steer the trio away from other attacks. He assumed the Saints were running out of targets, having taken out many of the Angels already, in such a small space of time. For a moment he imagined what Kakushin would think, when he came back to Aura to find it like this. Hane felt guilt hit him, but was soon distracted. A well aimed bullet whistled through the air, before landing with a small thud into Hane's shoulder. It, fortunately, didn't pass all the way through, or else it would have also impacted Art's head. But Hane winced in pain, refusing to let up the descent despite the pain the wound caused. And of course, it didn't help that Hane had lost his token, and they began to head into Sohul skies. As expected, Hane felt his breathing get thinner, a tickling across his back as around the fresh wound, old wounds began to appear once more. But Hane didn't let anything deter him, and neglected to even speak to Sky as he made sure the two royal children got to Sohul. From then, he assumed they'd be chased, in which the Guard would just have to protect them until help came. Hane landed hard, though made sure to keep on his feet, and Art safe in his arms. Panting, Hane silently passed Art to his sister, freeing his arms to hold his sword again. "We... need to find help..." Hane stated, voice going rasp, "Your... fathers... or the clan... I'll protect you both... until then."

It was like they'd hit the nest. The castle that housed so many Angels, the centre piece of their species. It had been the perfect target, and made Banto proud as he watched just how many Angels tried to run. This wasn't their entire population, perhaps close to it, considering how few Angels were left. The rest could be picked off however, and the ship didn't plan to descend until as much of Aura was turned to dust as possible, before the act of surprise wore off, and Angels became an actual threat to the Saints. Until then, Banto just enjoyed what he could see before him. He chose not to use a weapon, letting the glory of picking off the survivors fall to his fellow Saints now, as they seemed to enjoy taking part. The ex-criminal just kept his eyes out for any escaping Angels, ones that made it through the floor of cloud to safety. Or, what they'd assume was safety. It was almost amusing to think, that when cornered, Angels assumed the safest place to be was the homeland of their enemy. Then again, that just proved that there were far too many Humans willing to help the sky races still, which would make rallying the Human Race harder than Banto had hoped. No matter, he and Vadium had ideas on how to change that soon, drop another bomb on the very fabric of trust between Angels and Humans. Demons were already feared and hated, those who claimed to like Demons, only did so out of fear of the result of stating their true thoughts.
It got harder to spot any Angels flying, and Banto knew this was because they'd been picked off. If anything, it made it easier to spot movement, and Banto noticed a pair of three Angels, flying near the furtherest island no doubt to try and slip away. "Hey Marzzi!" Banto called to grab the big guy's attention. Banto pointed out the three Angels, and Marzzi nodded, taking a powerful shot of his gun at the new target. There was an explosion that seemed to cover their vision, and it was conclusive as to whether Marzzi had got them, until they both noticed the shadows disappear under the clouds. Banto chuckled, which confused Marzzi in his frustration. But Banto ignored him, knowing now he could take his turn in the fun. Summoning one of his portals, and connecting it to one he'd pre-placed back down in Sohul, Banto hopped in. He landed in a wide, clear area of Rycora forest. Once he got his bearings, Banto tilted his head up, waiting for three figures to appear. When he spotted them, Banto retreated into numerous portals, making sure to be out of possible sight.
Two children, and an injured teenage kid. Odd group, and especially lucky to get out of Aura. Though Banto didn't plan on having that remain for long. He didn't recognise any of them, and didn't think he should care to try. So Banto just waited for the oldest kid to speak, before appearing before them, jumping out from behind the trees to smirk, and gloat before the three. "Were you three planning on escaping somewhere?" Banto asked, "Because you've chosen the wrong direction, Angels... and a Demon." Banto added, as he noticed the smaller boy, with slightly pointed ears and Demonic features. It didn't matter, either way he'd serve Banto's plan. Banto paused a bit, watching the oldest of the group ready his sword. But he looked faint, trying hard to keep himself steady let alone attack. So Banto chuckled, pulling out a gun from his belt, lifting it forwards and snapping back the trigger. The borrowed gun fired well, and before the wounded boy knew it, his side was torn open. Banto smiled at the display, noticing how the kid was already badly injured over his back. It just dwindled his chance of recovering, and boosted the pain. Exactly what Banto wanted then. But there was something more. He'd wondered if he could try and get more from the Angel King by kidnapping a young Angel, but now he could do exactly that, and also aggravate the Demon King as well by taking one of his young subjects. Banto kept his gun ready, shuffling towards the two unarmed children. He aimed it at the girls head, "Try to do anything, whatever magic you posses or run, and this bullet goes through your head, got it?" Banto growled, waiting for a reply. After that, the Saint grabbed one of the young Angel's arms, twisting it around and behind her back. He smirked, "We're going to take you somewhere nice and safe, isn't that what you wanted?" He commented, beginning to walk away from the puddle of blood around the dying Angel. But Banto stopped after a few steps, turning to glare at the white haired one. "We can't have you surviving, and spoiling the surprise for his highness too soon." Banto commented dryly, before aiming his gun once more. Another bang, this time Banto could just feel the impact of what he was doing, how this one bullet would etch into the memory of the child he was kidnapping, and all who knew the sorry dying Angel boy... as he shot Hane through the head.

Sky wanted to do so many things right now. Cry, scream, go help all those who needed it, but she knew she needed to get out, to protect her brother as best she could, had to remain strong for him. Sky hated to admit that she jumped a little when Hane arrived, but she hid it well, and was quick to pass Art over and hold onto Hanes hand. Things from there were a blur until they reached land once more, the flash of red and smell of smoke all she could remember. Sky hugged Art close when he was handed back, not willing to part with the boy for even a second, but she looked up to Hane with wide eyes. "NO MR SIR HANE. YOU NEED TO HELP THE OTHERS... AND YOURSELF." Sky didn't care if she was shouting, even those blind could tell how bad a state Hane was in, and she didn't want him anymore hurt. But before she could speak again, another turned up, Sky was shaking in fear slowing moving to hide behind Hane. That was until she saw the glint of the gun, and the ringing off a shot. "HANE" It was unbelievable, how quick Hane went down, considering how strong he was. Sky held onto Art tighter, trying to shuffle towards Hane, but the gun pointed to her head and the sudden arm pinned to her back stopped her. This could go either one of three ways, Sky can try to run, and have the possibility of all of them getting killed. She can try to fight, possibly winning, or dying leaving Art alone. Or leave with this guy, and play her cards to escape later on. Choosing the last option, Sky hardened her gaze, letting no emotion or hurt slip through, holding Art tight against her chest. "Your going to regret ever threatening me and my family." It was all Sky had to say, as she flinched watching Hane have his head shot... She wanted to cry out, fight back, but she also wanted to seem emotionless to their enemy, even if it was their only form of payback.

Fate never told you when it was going to explode in your face. Ikiru had no idea what was about to happen, and his last thoughts were of others. He wanted to see Hisan again, perhaps tease him about what the Demon had talked about during the Nightmares, considering the Angel refused to forget what was said. But the Demon wasn't letting up, and refused to remember it all. So Ikiru planned on going down to tease and pester Hisan some more, try and get something out of him. It was at that moment, that the Angel looked to the window to see the giant ship appear. And then there was a flash of light, and a gust of wind close to the strength of a brick wall, crushing Ikiru and throwing him back. The Angel's ears rung, and he easily fell into a darkness from the impact of Shiro falling on top of him. Ikiru's vision, stuck in darkness, began to turn blood red, and the Guardian of Life couldn't figure out why. The ringing in his ears didn't stop, and his stomach began to elevate in pain. Finally Ikiru opened his eyes, drearily looking to the rubble and blood all around him.
Shiro was silent now, freshly made ruins, filled with bodies and the smell of death. Ikiru couldn't move, and yet his body twitched. Groaning slightly, the disorientated Angel found it harder and harder to concentrate on what had happened. All he could think of, was hunger. His red eyes looked down to one of Ikiru's hands, now twisting and shaking around as nails grew sharper. Ikiru began to panic, his whole body was coming alive on it's own, changing and shaking like lightening was passing through him constantly. Then Ikiru happened to look just a bit away from his hand, to the staff his sister had given him, now snapped in half, and lost of all magic power. That constricting magic, was leaked and gone from the staff, and now there was no helping Ikiru. He began to growl, out of his own, awakened and crazed will. The last moment of sanity left in Ikiru was spent on begging, begging to the heavens that no one found him here. But like a tiny, flickering flame, that sanity was cut off from existence, as Ikiru's Kyuban nose picked up a new scent in the air. "Oh god... it's horrible." "Will we even find survivors here?" Came voices, murmuring, yet close to the Kyuban. Their fresh souls brought the Kyuban to stand, blood dripping down from his stained clothes, where regenerated injuries once were from the explosion. "Wait, there's someone there!" One voice called towards Ikiru. The Kyuban stared into space for a moment, red eyes slowly turning, like clockwork, towards the group of surviving Angels. Such rich souls. "Hey, are you alright?" They continued to call, but words meant nothing to Ikiru. Breathing rasp, and rough with a constant, quite growl, Ikiru stared at them for a manner of painful minutes. "R.... run." Ikiru muttered, before the Kyuban blood pulsed, and brought Ikiru forward. He skipped with such incredible speed towards the gathering of souls, and around Shiro, once again there were cries of death echoing the once peaceful, golden skies.

Post by Just Tenshi on Sept 27, 2015 21:02:54 GMT
Tenshi wasn't around Shiro when the attack happened, but news spread quickly about the sound of screams echoing from Aura. She knew something awful must have happened, could feel the dread set into her bones. Her heart telling her to go and help those who needed it, but mind knowing it would be fruitless to do so, not if she wanted to live to help the survivors. The break of war had begun, and Tenshi could feel that this is exactly what Shinda wanted, exactly how he planned things out, there would be no escape... The humans had rebelled, and behind the scenes, watching from the side-lines, was Shinda with the script, recreating it to fit his image, to allow what was needed to be done, done. It was sickening, but Tenshi knew this would not be easy to escape, and she would have to swallow her thoughts and beliefs to help out. She was going to warn the Mun clan of the developments, in a hope they would shelter whom they could, before heading into Dranar to find the Kings and warn them of this development, though, she was sure they must have heard by now, and if that really was the case, she hoped neither did anything stupid. But in the distance, Tenshi noticed two figures fall from Aura, just a blur, but she knew who it had to be. Tenshi was quick to rush over, in a hope to help out, now they were out the firing zone. But as she came across the scene, the smell of copper filling her senses, and the sickly image of Hane etched into her mind, Tenshi knew she was too late. And he whom he tried to help was gone, it would not be easy to explain to the kings... For now though, she had to help her lo... her friend, it easy to tell his totem was missing, and it took all of her magic strength to seep into his body just to keep him from dying due to being away from Aura and the king, let alone having enough to heal him. Taking a shaky breath, Tenshi lifted up Hane, struggling, weak from lack strength, and set out her wings, because god knows what she would do if she lost Hane as well. She had to find a safe place for him, a place she could keep him alive with, Dranar was the obvious place, seeing as it would become the refuge, and where Kaku would be, but she couldn't take him there just yet, knowing that it was probably being watched. Instead, Tenshi set off for Minato, Nanari would be able to help heal, and Tenshi could focus her attention on keeping him alive, while the cats could send the messages needed.

Post by Kakushin on Sept 27, 2015 21:42:01 GMT
Things remained calm in Dranar. Kakushin was spending what time he could with Rurushu. They were discussing many things. Talk of new families, including their own, and their sister's. It was all good news, and Kakushin was enjoying this time away in his other half's lands for a bit. Dranar looked so much better already. Mo treated it as best he could, but Ru just seemed to have a spark for caring for the lands. Demons could hardly believe that the colour green was returning to the hellish lands. But it was really happening, and Kakushin felt proud of Ru for it all. Kakushin was just thinking about going to check on Aura, when a boom shook even the rocky lands of Dranar. Something spiked in the King's heart, he felt the shock of what was happening, in his heart, even when his mind was at a loss to current events.
Kakushin's breath was caught, and he hardly spoke to Ru before taking flight. He dived down into the skies of Sohul, to pass over to Aura as quick as he could. But, the very effect of what had happened, made it clear to Kakushin before he'd even reached Aura. The golden clouds that protected their home, were all dissolved and broken down, and the islands of Aura were clear even from Sohul now. And the islands were all coated in flames. The Kings wings took him up to Aura faster than ever before, but it was clear he was far too late to do anything. A ship was lingering around an emptied, and completely violated island. Kakushin recognised the large island, barely, and couldn't believe what was clear now. These ruins, the small amount still standing, was Shiro. What once was Shiro, the main part of Aura that had housed more than half of the small Angel race. Kaku could not help ignoring the ship, glancing slightly to the aircraft before staring long and hard at his home. His kingdom, the one place Kakushin had promised to protect. Now, all he could protect was ruins. Kakushin landed in one the dusty island, now no different from a piece of floating rock. Though, as soon as the King landed, his legs gave up. No amount of hope could keep Kakushin going right now, and it felt like his heart had stopped, no longer giving Kaku the will to stand. Tears rolled down, from seeing at this angle, the bodies that lay around him, the crimson puddles, no, lakes that flooded Shiro now. "Someone... Ru, someone has to be alive." Kakushin muttered, but no hope left his voice. The King grew sick of looking around at his dead friends, only remembering how he'd talked to each and every one of them, and seen that hope and respect in their eyes for their ruler.
Kakushin's hands covered his face, making sure he could see no more of this, only what his mind forced him to remember and keep burnt into his head. He heard the hum of the airship leaving, finally having a small ounce of concentration to say something more. "That ship... who does it belong to?" Kakushin asked to his other half, hoping Ru could get a look at the sails before the ship disappeared to Sohul below, finishing it's mission, whatever horror that had been.

Ru always loved the time spent with Kaku, not nearly getting enough due to the combined efforts of King duties and new parents. And with the added addition Chester was bringing, things were about to get even more jam-packed in his life. He didn't mind though, he was use to multitasking, and always made time for those most important, just like today. The last thing he was expecting today though was the shaking of Dranar, and Ru instantly knew what must have happened, he himself once thinking of the idea back in another life. Ru felt a pang of worry for those in Aura, and for Kaku and how his beloved would act, he wanted nothing more to hold him back from going to help, knowing that things could turn out much worse. But refrained from doing so, knowing that he couldn't hold him back even if he tried. Instead, Ru quickly followed on behind, keeping an eye out for any signs on whom did this, and holding back a pained choke at the scene they entered. It was far worse then he imagined, and Ru was quick to look to the vessels that caused this, eyes hardening at the sight on the sails, they were warned of this, back with the nightmares, however small the warning was. He never expected things to happen so quickly though. Taking hold of Kaku, burying his beloved head into the crook of his neck, blocking out the bloodied sight that lay before them, Ru gave a breath. "I honestly don't know. I'm sure some are alive, those who are already down in Sohul, and Hane, Hane isn't one to die so easily, not from this. (TTT_TTT)" Ru was reluctant to tell Kaku of the culprits, not knowing how he would react, but with how much needed to be discussed right now, and the potential of an unwanted war on the horizon, it was better for Kaku to know, for all their sakes. "You wont like the Answer. It was the Human government, The Saints, to be exact. Now lets not do anything rash, we have things we need to do first, find survivors, get them somewhere safe, and then work out what to do next. I know this is hard, but we have to focus on what's more important, your people."

This wasn't real, it couldn't be real. Kakushin was completely tense, unable to move or think of anything else other than the death around him. When Ru took hold of him, Kakushin just collapsed into his other half's shoulder. And there was no holding back when comfort came, as Kakushin couldn't control the shudders and tears that came from him, all for those around him. Kakushin tried to listen to Ru's words, seek and grasp and some comfort from them. That was right, Hane would surely be alive, and he would have tried his hardest to save others as well. It didn't stop Kakushin's tears, but make him feel slightly calmer. Then came another thought, "Ru.. what about Sky? Sky and Art, they were here too." Kakushin stated, his voice too dry and pained to sound more urgent. Part of him knew that Hane would have kept them safe, from duty, and his own secret bond to the children.
Kakushin felt like it was obvious who had done this. Who else, but Humans. As much as it pained Kakushin's heart to think about that, there was no way it couldn't have been Human hands. Even after the Saints had helped with the Nightmares, and some of them had warmed up to Angels, they still decided to murder so many innocent souls like this. The King gritted his teeth, calming down his cries now to think on what Ru suggested. He knew that Rurushu didn't want Kakushin to lose himself to anger right now, and Kaku tried his hardest to remain calm, but there was still spite to Kakushin's voice. "They want a war... this was just a message they wanted to send to us... They should have just killed me if that was the case, and not cause so much... so much death." Kakushin murmured, without any will to his voice anymore.

Ru was terrified over the thought on what happened to their kids. But he knew either Hane had helped them escape, or Sky was smart enough to do so herself, he was sure they would be fine, and if not, then whomever caused their suffering in whatever form, was going to pay. Big time. But for now, he wouldn't allow himself to worry, not with the thought of them being okay in his mind, and the husband who needed him right now for support. "I'm sure they are fine, Either Hane or Sky got them out, and even if the worst happened... They would be used for ransom, Sky would keep Art safe, and she is one tough girl. She would break them before they ever had the chance to do so to her." Which was true, while Sky had no physical strength, her mental one matched that of people who had seen the worst in the world. He had no doubts that no matter what, they would live. Now, Ru knew this was a message... Its content being loud and clear. They didn't want just the King dead, they wanted all Angels to die alongside him, making sure Kaku suffered first. It was the painfully obvious truth, and Ru hoped he could convince Nanari to break down Jasper and find out why he has allowed this, because despite this war looming on the horizon, it happened all too quickly, and from experience, there is other factors working against them here. "They want a war... This was only the beginning, its certain they are planning to wipe out Angels, and soon after Demons. Its easier to rid of one race first, then to focus on the other..." It was the harsh truth, but it had to be said. "We can do little here right now with just the two of us... Lets get support from my people to shift through the rubble and find any survivors. And work out your next cause of action, safe haven for the survivors first, Dranar will be too obvious. Second gather those who scattered, or live down in Sohul already. I think the Kings words of wisdom and advice will be beneficial for your people right now."

Note: Going to end this one, so we can move along into others There was nothing to stop Kakushin worrying. Because everything before him now just proved the blood-lust and rage that faced them all. He listened to Ru, and in his heart prayed his husband was right. But, Kaku knew first hand what the rage of Humans could do, and how one had used it to defeat the King single-handedly. He trusted in Hane's skill, and in Sky's powers, but even the King had his fearful doubts about their safety. As far as Kakushin's heart could tell, they weren't safe until the King found them. It was so hard to move, but Kakushin knew he'd have to move from his hiding place in Ru's shoulder, and face everything with what decency he could still afford to give. Kakushin took a deep breath, before silently getting up, offering to help Ru up as well. The King was pale, and his face was damp from the tears, but he still listened to Ru's words and tried to follow the Demon King's advice. "Now that we know... what they desire, we can at least prepare ourselves." Kakushin replied, dully. He hoped they wouldn't do anything to Dranar, for Kakushin didn't want this same ripping pain in his chest to be shared with Ru. Kakushin smiled weakly, "Thank you, Ru... I just hope we don't act too late." He replied, before looking across the island, and down below the now missing clouds. Sohul seemed so much clearer, and so much more threatening, now that Aura wasn't safely hidden behind the golden clouds. The King calmed his breath down, and almost chuckled harshly, "I don't know what wisdom I can give them anymore, or if they'll even listen... But, I do know a safe place for the rest of my kind to hide."-------------------------------------------------- [END]
