Name: Blye Setai-Nushi
Age: 19
Gender: Boy
Race: Human
Job: Future king of Humans, crusader for peace.
Rank: 5 stars (though you know it won't stay that way for long)
Appearance: Blye is an average size for his age, and doesn't look on the strong side. His skin is pale, but shows some toning to it since he's left his home clan. Blye's hair is long, tied into a tailing plait behind his back and is deep blue in colour. His eyes share the blue of his hair, and remain rather dozy at most times even when Blye is serious. Blye's gone through numerous outfits, from the old clan robes to official officer clothing that he now wears after journeying under a cover. The solider outfit is one worn by most Humans serving under a cause for war, it is a mixture of blues, blacks and golds. The white scarf carried from Blye's clan continues to be seen around his neck, though is tucked into his uniform at all times. A very large tattoo appears across Blye's back: symboldictionary.net/?p=1031 It's meaning is unknown to others, but it is the symbol of time as depicted by Blye's clan.
Personality: Blye is young, but his wisdom seems to have existed for centuries. He knows exactly what to say to others, and how to approach the topic. He is kind, and good right down to his soul. There exists no hatred in Blye for anything, and the word 'grudge' does not exist for Blye. He can be betrayed, and his emotions will remain unwavered. That is how Blye has lived up until now, and he plans to make no changes to his personality.
However, Good is not to be confused with weak. Blye knows that in some cases, death is what moves life forward, and won't hesitate to take one should it be in the interest of future peace. And Blye will never look back on a decision, to do so is to show hate to ones past, and that is something Blye vows not to do. Despite his wisdom, Blye is still only 19. He is a young adult, and can be immature in front of friends, as well as a bit of a fool.
Likes: Peace, giving monologues, knowledge, making friends.
Dislikes: The elders of his old clan, those who don't want peace, idiots, people who blame themselves all the time, betrayal.
Weapons: Blye has a sword that has remained without any blood spilt from it. Truth is, Blye has never fought a battle that didn't end as soon as it had begun. His magic is all Blye needs to rely on, with it, he can win a fight by making it never begin in the first place.
Magic: Time Magic: A vast and complex magic, that is so powerful and complicated in fact that it's taken many lifetimes to even get to a point of understanding it, and even more to perfect it to a point a child could be taught the magic. Blye is the only being to know how Time Magic works, and can use it's vast powers without a bad consequence. Time magic can be used in various ways, and each way is almost a separate magic on it's own.
Future: Blye can speed up the age of anything he touches, turning it into dust if he chooses. The further in the future he forces something to go, however, the more power it uses. For the sake of not possibly creating a monster, Blye was never taught how to speed up the age of anything living, but such magic is possible if Blye chose to improve his skills.
Future-Sight: One of two ways in which Blye can transport himself through time as a spirit. By looking at something, Blye can jump any amount of distance into his future, (Though similar rules apply, the further he goes, the more energy is required). He remains a spectator in that certain time, unless he decides to change from spirit form to physical form in which he is then able to interact with others from that time.
Past: Opposite to 'Future', by touching something, Blye can age it backwards in time. Same rules also apply.
Past-Sight: A very dangerous but skilful magic indeed. Blye only needs to look at someone, and he can travel into the past via their specific past. This can be used in so many ways, to learn someone's history for himself, to go back and change a previous thing he's said, or to even change events of the past. The latter is something Blye has only done once, and he refuses to do so again.
Blye's sight magic's may take him to the future or past, where he can spend a long time in whatever time he transports himself to. However, to those in the present, Blye's sight magic only lasts a millisecond, as the present time doesn't effect time of the past or future.
Time pause: As it's name suggests, it allows Blye to stop time around himself, only allowing things he's touching to move along with him. He can keep this magic up for a surprisingly long time, without tiring.
As the user of Time magic, if Blye was to affect the past, the consequences that has on the present don'f effect Blye. For example, if he prevented his parents from conceiving him by killing one of them, it wouldn't cause Blye to disappear, even though for others this would be the case. Time magic is strong enough to negate the effects of a paradox upon himself only. Space magic, although different to Time magic, also protect's it's user from disappearing.
History: In the early ages of Humanity, when their existence was created by the Sun Goddess, there existed a Clan that remained apart from everything else, on the very edge of Sohul. There, they put all knowledge they could find into unlocking magic never considered before. Whilst many could grasp at the powers of elements, none had ever in any age mastered magic of Time and Space. This clan, known to themselves as the Jikan-Kukan Clan, believed that once Space and Time was in the power of Humans, a new and greater age could begin. It would be the power to protect their kind from destruction and peril, to shape the destiny of Human rather then let the flow of fate drag them down whatever path it would.
For generations, this belief held true, and the clan never gave up in their search for the magic they desired so much. And, over two thousand years later, the clan- which at this point had grown to the size of a vast city- finally brought together their powers and knowledge to perfect Space and Time magic. Blye's grandfather was the first to be born with Time magic as his skill. However, it wasn't a joyous discovery. When Blye's grandfather was only a year old, his powers flared, and he erased his father from existence with a single thought. Thanks to his Time magic, Blye's grandfather could stop this from also erasing his own existence, however, the same couldn't be said for his two younger siblings who didn't posses Time magic, and they disappeared along with his father. The clan was made aware of just how powerful Time magic was, and how deadly it could be if not controlled. Those of the Time users blood-line were kept in isolation, and the same conditions went for users of Space magic, as that magic as well was proving to be dangerous. Blye's grandfather wasn't mistreated, he was just carefully assisted in growing up, until he got control of his magic. It was a success for the clan, but Blye's grandfather could never do much with his magic. So when old enough, he researched more into it, using what powers he could to understand how further ones could be unlocked. And under the ancient traditions and ceremonies of the clan, a greater grasp of Time magic was passed onto the next generation, and Blye's mother. Knowing the risks of her magic, Blye's mother was kept at an arms reach, and her magic was suppressed until she was old enough to know how not to use it. She was powerful, and the clan were convinced that her magic was the success, the strongest that Time magic would be.
The clan was ready to begin their ultimate plan, to place Blye's mother at the top of the Human race, along with her Space magic counterpart. But one component of Humans that the clan didn't predict was their passions and love. Blye's mother became pregnant to a simple worker's child. Whilst unnerved by the sudden halt to their plans, the clan elders still saw the unborn baby as a new spark to their future. Someone to inherit their mothers powers and take her place when age failed her.
And so Blye was finally born into the world, and he showed the entire clan what real Time magic was. What his mother possessed, that they thought was the pinnacle of their worshipped magic, was no where near the true powers the users of Time could possess. As before, a restriction spell was placed on Blye when he was young to stop his magic from surfacing whilst he was still a child. However, as one elder looked over the boy, they noticed how he teleported back and forth. He was stopping time for everyone but himself, completely overpowering the restraints placed on him. All the elders were concerned, and they used all in their power to make sure Blye couldn't do anything reckless. Blye was freighted at times, only a young boy, so he had no idea why everyone feared him, when he only wanted to play.
After much discussion, his mother decided to try and teach the young Blye early about his powers and role to their clan. He, and the current user of Space magic, Emeri, were destined to help Humanity rise to their full height, and how his and Emeri's existence was proof the Humans could hold more power than other races thought of them. Even so young, the idea of helping so many made Blye very happy, and he grew as an excitably boy. Blye, because of his purpose, didn't find it hard to make friends in the clan from all the other children, though something did bother Blye a bit. He'd never seen any Angels or Demons, or anyone who wasn't a part of the clan. The clan was unknown to everyone on the outside world, and to Blye, this was tragic. Such a great and awesome clan deserved to be known about, and Blye expressed as much to his mother. Though she scolded the boy, told him that at the current time, it would be foolish to think about revealing the powerful clan to the outside, with the current evil going about. And Blye pouted, he just wanted to make the clan happy, by giving them the recognition they deserved. Whilst others were grateful that Blye was considering such things, they also told the boy to just forget about it. When he was older, Blye would prove the worth of the clan anyway with his rise to power.
Blye still wasn't pleased, and Emeri, his counterpart and friend, was on the side of the others as well. She was the only one in which he resided a plan with though. He said that if in this current time, it would be too risky to get attention on the clan, then Blye would go back to a time when the clan was only just beginning, and get them known from the very start. He thought it was wondrous, and that perhaps, if the world knew of the clan from the start, then perhaps in the future the clan would be so much bigger, so much stronger and influential. He'd almost got Emeri to agree with him, and almost was enough for Blye to go on with his plans. He didn't know just how hard it would be, but Blye sent himself back 2300 years into the past, when the clan had only just been formed. He was found by an awestruck and terrified, small group of Humans. But Blye wasn't discouraged. He explained where he'd come from, and how successful the clan would become, and that he claimed that making themselves more public would help towards a better future. After all, rather than just having a user of Time and user of Space suddenly appear and demand control, why not have it foretold of for over 2300 years? That way, Blye and the others of the clan wouldn't need to work up to respect and recognition, it would be handed to them, and the clan would be celebrated and not left forgotten. The freshly made clan agreed to Blye's idea, and the boy left them with joyous praise and thanks for what they'd later create, so far into the future.
Blye returned to his own time, with a smile imprinted on his face, but soon the smile was gone. The 15 year old Blye looked around at what should be the glorious city of the Jikan-Kukan clan, but it appeared as an empty wasteland. Everything, and everyone was gone, and it was as if the clan never existed. Blye panicked, unable to understand what this all meant. He remained on the barren rock of his former home for a long time, suffering in confusion. Finally, he saw a familiar face with hair of green. Emeri found Blye all alone, though she wasn't pleased to see him. She explained how that, whatever he did to change the past of the clan, it resulted in the destruction of the Space and Time clan, over 1000 years ago, as it grew known as too big a threat by the other races and was destroyed. There were none alive who could even remember the clan, and so it was as if the inspiring clan had never existed at all. By his foolish idea, Blye had wiped out his and Emeri's past, leaving them with nothing but their own powers. It felt destroying, to know that he no longer had such a thing as a past, that Blye simply existed, without proof of an origin. Emeri was deeply upset by what Blye did, and left him with a few harsh words, claiming that she'd continue the clan's legacy even if Blye had destroyed it recklessly. After more mourning, Blye eventually left the clan's grounds, finally able to explore the outside world, but under the most grim circumstances. He roamed aimlessly, but it was in this aimless pilgrimage of sorts that Blye understood just what the clan spent so long trying to create.
Blye saw all the troubles of the world, how their brothers and sisters of the skies were misinterpreted and how Humans were doing the opposite of evolving by becoming so savage and cruel. And he understood a lesson that the clan never got to teach him. That to them, their past or present did not matter, in fact it didn't matter if it ceased to exist, so long as the future was still capable of being made better, their role would be fulfilled. So Blye forgot his sin of his past and, though a few years behind Emeri in her journey, Blye put himself on the correct path towards power, and towards the creation of this hopeful future.
Free Item: Extra Magic: Space Magic: Blye has a small knowledge of the magic of his opposite, Emeri and her Space Magic. Whilst he can never understand the complex magic like she does, he can use some of the magic for himself, since they both came from the same clan. Blye can use Space Magic only to control his own body, to let it fly or float in the air and send him forward and fast speeds.
