It had certainly been a busy night. For someone's whose only job was supposed to be watching over his men, Jasper had been through a lot. A revelation of sorts. Thanks to Nanari's caring nature, Jasper had been opened up to the idea that he was still young. Too young to never know what a real family was. He could consider the Saints as his brothers and sisters in arms, and very close friends. But they weren't family, not a real one, though the bonds Jasper shared to them could grow still to a family level. Jasper needed a real family to return to when the Saints weren't active, and Nanari had offered him that. Jasper felt a little old to be adopted, but that was exactly what was happening. Jasper was certain on his decision, and all that needed to happen now was to tell the other two. As Jasper's closest friends, Hino and Marzzi would need to be told about the development, for better or worse depending on their reactions. Jasper sat down, just waiting for the two to come back. All the dreamers had woken up a short while ago, most leaving to get fresh air or food. Hino and Marzzi would likely return soon to inform Jasper on how things went, and he'd have to seize that chance to tell them. He glanced to Nanari, having asked her to be there as well, considering she was a rather important part of the development, and would probably place words better than Jasper if certain people over-reacted. Hearing the door, Jasper got up. "Hino, Marzzi. I respect that this is a little sudden, but might I be able to talk to you both about something?" He asked quickly, gesturing for both to take a seat. Jasper followed by sitting back down, pondering over words he'd use. "Whilst you two were in the Dream world, I... There's been a change." Jasper put in a strange way, unsure how to even word this in a way both Hino and Marzzi could respect. The latter being the difficult one.

Nanari couldn't be happier with todays events. Besides people coming back from the dreams less wounded then last time, Nanari was getting a family to call her own, and the thought both terrified her inside and made her heart explode with happiness. Many joked around about her being mother hen of everyone, she could understand why, but she had never actually been a mother, and though she wouldn't change her decision for anything, she was terrified of making a mistake. But that would come as needed, she knew Jasper wasn't young, and could do everything himself, but she wanted to give him something, and that alone gave her the courage to try, knowing he accepted it. Looking as the two Jasper needed to talk to entered, Nanari gave a laugh, he really wasn't beating around the bush... But she was glad he wanted her here to tell them the changes as he put it. Now she knew explaining this wasn't easy for him, and considering she put him in this condition, Nanari decided it would be best to explain herself. "Before either of you worry its not a bad change... And Jasper hasn't been forced into this choice. Its difficult to explain, but during the night we got talking, and it has lead to me asking if I could adopt him, to give him a family beyond what he share with you and the Saints. Jasper has let me."

It was weird to feel tired when thinking about it, Marzzi had been sleeping a lot. Though the energy used in the Dream world was shared by their sleeping bodies in the real world, so it wasn't all that stupid to say that Marzzi felt tired. Though everyone was, those sleeping were putting up with the nights of fighting and trauma, and those awake never got any sleep over guarding their slumbering friend's bodies. All of it was a funny time, not one Marzzi would forget any time soon. The dreams were getting easy now, since the first one being a little tough, Marzzi felt like he knew how to best them. The real challenge now was getting Mitasu to spill her location, which the Demon bitch just wasn't giving them. He was sure repetition would do the trick, eventually. Waking up to a new day, both Marzzi and Hino had left for a bit of air, and Marzzi made sure to pick a spot to relax that was far away from the other dreamers. He was eager to return to the 'safe-room' after a little while of stretching his legs, though didn't expect to find Jasper looking rather serious. Marzzi huffed, the little guy must have some sort of news going around in his head that couldn't wait even a second. Humouring the leader, Marzzi sat down on the bed given to him, relaxing back against the wall as he listened with half-interest. Though, the brute's brow lifted after Jasper spoke. A change? The hell did that mean? And Marzzi certainly didn't expect the change to be what Nanari said it was. Instantly, Marzzi's brows both levelled, and he leaned forward. "You shitting me?" He muttered, looking to Jasper. "What the hell kind of change is that, Jasper? All of a sudden you want to go off and be someone's kid? You're leader of the Saints for fuck's sake." Jasper replied, completely taken back by this. He knew Jasper was younger, but never considered the tough little guy to be that young. Jazz always acted older, so why all of a sudden he'd changed to want to be a kid and belong to a family again was confusing as hell to Marzzi.

Once awake, Hino decided to stretch his legs and grab a drink, things had gotten easier, either due to knowing what to expect, or because Mitasu focused on another team that night, he hoped it to be the former. They hadn't gotten a location out of her, nor did it seem like she would give it up anytime soon, but he was ready to go back in again to find out, something would slip for one of the teams, and then they would jump into action. Yawning, Hino began the walk back to the kitchen, they may be asleep for it all, but it wasn't proper, and Hino needed a nap before going back in for night three. What he didn't expect was for Jasper to need to talk to him and Marzzi, it looked serious, so he happily obliged. But what this change was about, was the last thing he expected. Giving a sigh, Hino thought it over, letting Marzzi react verbally first, Jasper was leader of the Saints, and didn't really need this, but he was young, and thinking on it, they knew little of Jasper and where he came from, so it could be expected that this Nanari knew more then them... It was a tough thing to judge, but Jasper seemed happy, so who were Hino and Marzzi to judge. "Ignore the brute... I think its sweet, as long as your happy Jasper... And Nanari doesn't steal you away from us completely." From what he's seen though, he doubted she would, but it was better to be sure. The only issue he had was her relation to the other races, but could only assume Jasper took that into consideration... It was just telling Marzzi that.

Jasper was glad Nanari was handling the actual news, knowing if he was the one stating it, it would be far too seriously put, and not the good news it was supposed to be. So Jasper simply nodded along to Nanari, making sure the others knew that this was precisely Jasper's decision. It would be a surprise at first, Jasper could respect that, but he also hoped that his men could understand the situation. And as hard as it might be, see their leader for his age for once, not just his position. He glared towards Marzzi though, even through knowing beforehand that Marzzi would probably react this way. It still didn't please Jasper, who'd already gone through a night of a lot of emotion strain. Having the support of his most trusted men was Jazz's goal, which meant he'd have to convince this Marzzi before him currently conflicting the news. However, Jasper's brow was softened by Hino's reply, knowing he'd be a little more accepting of this. "Thank you Hino, and of course this change will have no effect on my position, or my dedication to the Saints." Jasper replied, glancing to Marzzi as well. "I know it might seem like I'm showing a weak side to you Marzzi, but that isn't the case. This is about my personal life. The Jasper you know as your leader will remain the same, I just want you both to know that. Besides, Nanari promised me herself that this is all my choice, I can come and go as I please, and won't have any new pressures put on me." Jasper added, hoping the brute might calm down just a little.

Nanari gave a smile over to the others. She knew their support is what Jasper wanted the most, and she could see Marzzi was someone she needed to talk to the most for that. Hino seemed kind enough to understand, and she hoped that is what he really though, and not just what he wanted Jasper to know. Giving a little sigh, Nanari turned her attention to Marzzi first, hoping to calm him down at least a little with this, knowing where he was coming from. "I understand you have concerns for this... But I'm not trying to cause a problem, Jasper is telling the truth, this all up to him and what he wants. I don't wish to pull him away from his duties, nor add pressure to them, the Saints are a big part of his life and I understand that, if anything I want to help, not drag him away." It was going to be tough to ease Marzzi's mind, she could tell, but she knew he was saying it in concern for Jasper, so she hoped by letting him know that everything was to how Jasper wanted it, would help him understand a little more. Now turning her attention to Hino, Nanari gave a smile. "Thanks I guess, and I don't plan to steal him away, as I said, he can come and go as he pleases, I will be there for when and if he needs me... And I'm willing to help out the Saints as well with things, I cant fight, but I can heal, so I don't intend to steal him away, more like I'm going to mould my life to fit with his, rather then alter Jaspers to much."

Marzzi sent a look to Hino, annoyed but not surprised that the small fry would accept this. He run an orphanage, of course he felt happy for Jasper. He just didn't see the issue with this, the major issue that left Marzzi looking at Jasper with a new eye. A doubtful one. It would take a lot of convincing to get Marzzi back on the right page of thinking that his leader was the tough little guy he'd thought before. Marzzi listened to all the others, leaving his eyes on Nanari for a moment. Whilst he was glad about her saving him a lot of trouble last night with his burnt face when she'd healed it, he couldn't let himself trust her quite yet. After all, there was a big thing everyone was forgetting about here. "I don't just see a weak side of you Jasper. I think she," Marzzi pointed to Nanari, "is manipulating you. I don't care if you both claim that this is all on your terms Jasper, no matter what, if you become her kid, she's gonna have some influence on you. Especially her connections... Sure you think it's fine and dandy having a mother like Nanari here, but what about your new uncle, the Demon King? Need I mention all the other Angels and Demons this woman's connected to." Marzzi stated, his voice getting more and more agitated, just knowing he was the only Saint in this room thinking clearly. "I'll give you a month before you get too soft to face off against Angels and Demons like the rest of us." Marzzi spat, folding his arms across his chest. "And be prepared to see just what kind of fucking stupid idea this has been when the Demon King's using all he's learnt about us from you against us all. No doubt that bastard'll use whatever info he can sap from you to get rid of even more Humans. Isn't that all his kind cares about after all?"

Hino wanted to shut Marzzi up, knowing he was over thinking things. But the brute had a point, Nanari's connections could reign disaster on the Saints, and she could very well be manipulating Jasper with this, to the point in trying to make sure he doesn't fight... Then again, the kids at the orphanage were doing the same with Hino, even if he didn't show it. But looking to Nanari, Hino couldn't see her doing that, he asked around about her after the first night, in a hope to understand who Jasper was with, many loved her, and said she didn't have a bad bone in her body, to anyone. Be it, Human, Angel, Demon, Exorcist, and all the sort, she was said to help them all, so though Marzzi raised a good point, Hino couldn't see it... And he trusted Jasper to make the right choices, if Nanari happened to try that, he would know, and either send her the wrong information, or leave entirely. But he never voiced this, Hino wanted to see Nanari's reaction first, so she didn't have to defend herself from two people just yet, besides he was curious to it, and felt it to be safer from Marzzi's wrath if Hino didn't take his side with this.

Of course Marzzi would only be considering how this affected the Saints' goals. He didn't care about the positive change for Jasper's life, or wasn't allowing himself to right now, all the brute cared about was how this changed his future fights against Angels and Demons. Sometimes the fact that Marzzi only ever thought about fighting and not about others really annoyed Jasper. But he needed to control the situation. Marzzi was known to drill into someone with insults to try and get an aggressive response. Jasper wasn't going to give his subordinate the pleasure of making him break like that. Although, Jasper's hands were clasped tightly closed when Marzzi talked. He understood where the brute came from with his response, but it still agitated Jasper. "So... what would you have me do, Marzzi? Remain alone for the rest of my life, however short that is?" Jasper replied quietly. He took a deep breath, "I don't care for any of the others that Nanari keeps close. I asked her to adopt me, not her whole family. Any connection to the others, are non-existent." Jasper added, hoping Nanari didn't mind that either. Jasper really wanted to have Nanari adopt him, but that was as far as it went. The Angels and Demons she also kept as company, Jasper didn't want to be around, knowing just gaining a mother alone was a big step.

Nanari completely understood where Marzzi was coming from in some respects, and she didn't blame Jasper for thinking of the others as non existent, she assumed as much when asking him, and was already planning on working around that. "I'm working around the rest of my family for Jasper so that there wont even be any surprise meetings at mine or when they are around. As far as I'm concerned, Jasper has no relation to them, and I don't mind that. Nor will I give away anything, like I said, I'm willing to help the Saints, if that's by being told nothing, then so be it." But there was an issue with this Nanari wanted to get across, and she didn't mind how she sounded to the others when doing so... Because Marzzi didn't know Ruru, and she sure as hell didn't like what opinion he had for him and all Demons, even if she understood. "There is one thing I need to say... Now I fully understand you hate Demons and such, but don't go thinking you know the first things about my brother or their kind in general... Because if not for Ru, I wouldn't be alive as a human right now, considering he gave up his human life for me, both figuratively and literally, he didn't have to do that... But he did, and that's what caused him to become a Demon in the first place. As for their kind, yeah, you get a bad bunch in the lot, but Ru's trying to change that, to work alongside Humans and keep them alive, to make sure his kind don't go pointlessly killing like in the past... Even if I did tell him secrets, he wouldn't use them... So don't go thinking you can judge them all because you met a few bad ones who made their kind terrible... Not when you don't know them as a person." She didn't want to sound so mean, but this was her family, and Marzzi didn't know what happened for them to get where they were. "Need I remind you that whatever race we go into, is decided how our Human self lived. Ru stole and killed as a Human as our parents were abusive, killed our sister and sold me off, Ru got me out of their and doomed himself to a Demon life young for my sake. So its not just Demons killing Humans..." Giving a hard stare to Marzzi, Nanari turned her gaze to Jasper, feeling bad for snapping like that at one of his friends. "Sorry Jasper, like I said, I do understand your views, and will respect them... But I needed to get that off my chest..." She hoped Jasper didn't hate her for that.

All the lines that Marzzi knew he was stepping over, but he did need them to be done. For this was madness, and Marzzi didn't care if he ended up losing the argument, he at least wanted to get his point across. Because when all this came crashing down in front of Jasper's face, Marzzi wanted to be there to boast over how he'd always been right. So the brute tried to hold his ground, refusing to react to Jasper's reply. Of course the deep down part of Marzzi that cared did stir a little. In some respects Jasper was still a kid. But Marzzi remembered his first meeting with Jasper, how their leader made sure that everyone understood the situation, that he was young but mature beyond his years. And he'd promise to act like a wise leader even when his appearance failed. "Struggling to still see the tough little bastard I once followed behind this wimp talking to me right now." Marzzi muttered, a slight smirk on his face. Everyone knew Marzzi's game when talking to others. He was a cruel talker, putting things harshly to get a better, more amusing response. Call it mean, but it was proven to get good results. Though Marzzi couldn't continue to try and irritate Jasper, as Nanari made her point known to the brute. Marzzi huffed, unstirred by the words that would convince many others. She was right though, Marzzi didn't know Demons as people. Simply because he didn't think of them as people. Though he had to admit, Nanari's past didn't sound like sunshine an rainbows, like one might assume from her personality. But he shook it off. Yeah, pretty much everyone in this day and age had a harsh life, Marzzi knew that well enough. "So a caring brother saves his sister. And then his soul is stolen by those monsters and used. And now he's a Demon, who can't even remember the good he did. Nice little reminder missy, just make sure to remind yourself about that little fact."

Hino found this whole situation amusing really, from Jasper finding the one woman who had ties with everyone, to the fact that she was also the only one who seemed to be willing to verbally fight Marzzi and have a chance with doing so. Not even he or Jasper managed that. But in all, Hino was glad with her answer, she really did understand what most others wouldn't, but still stuck by her own views, and despite how different they were to theirs, he could respect that, just like how Nanari was respecting their views, for the most part, he could see that using her family against her brought out a side very few probably have seen. Looking to Marzzi, Hino gave him an amused smile. "Don't be so mean Marzzi... I see her point, and its not like she's going to shout out to the world our secrets, Nanari here seems trustworthy, and we have to respect both that, and Jasper's decision." It was going to be difficult to convince Marzzi otherwise, but Hino hoped he would at least care enough to accept it with no issues, he should know as well as anyone, it doesn't matter how old you are, or wise, everyone needs to give up the tough guy act, and Jasper had put up such a brave face already. "You know Jasper, ignore the brute, I like her, she's able to stand up against Marzzi in a verbal fight, not many can do that."

Tension was unavoidable when Marzzi was involved, Jasper knew this, and yet he just wished for once the stubborn gorilla would accept things and calm down. He refused to let up, and it was becoming more than just aggravating to listen to Marzzi insult everyone over not having things his way. And the intimidation Jasper felt when Marzzi glared towards him, doubt in those eyes. The leader knew he'd have to prove himself to his subordinates, not just Marzzi, later on when the nightmares were stopped. And proof to Marzzi usually meant a fight, which Jasper didn't always enjoy. He'd done it before with Marzzi, when the leader first met the weapon's maker, but Jasper had hoped not to beat up the gorilla again if he could. But Jasper got distracted from worrying about that, instead listening to Nanari's story. He couldn't help but find some respect for the Demon King, or at least, the caring personality he had that led to saving his sister like that. And, there was a stronger connection to Nanari made when thinking just how harsh her past had been as well. To come so far from that was inspiration, and Jasper would refuse to let Marzzi or anyone else ruin Jasper's decision. Jasper went to say something to Nanari after smiling, but Marzzi had to butt in again. Jazz glared to the brute, hoping he knew exactly what trouble he could get in if this continued. Being mean was one thing everyone knew from Marzzi, but if he got too cruel, then Jasper wouldn't let it go on. But Hino calmed Jasper down enough, making a true response. Not many got Marzzi this agitated, and Nanari seemed to be holding her ground well against the bully. "No matter what the brute says, my decision stands. Any problems with it, can be saved until the current situation has been dealt with, all right, Marzzi?"

Nanari smirked over to Marzzi, a different side of her coming out... If he thinks anything he says will hinder her beliefs he has another thing coming. She respected their own beliefs, going as far to agree with some views, but for him to just outright throw away her own was another matter. But he had no idea. "Better my brother who is willing to try and make a change, to help humans... Then someone like Exitium who wanted to enslave them... May I remind you there are many worse people you will meet out in this world, be it Demon, Angel or Human..." Nanari took a breath to calm down, listening to Hino and Jasper, before giving a little smile. She had no physical strength, never has, Nanari could only rely on her words for defence, hence why she could stand up to him. Giving a moment to think over her next words to Marzzi, Nanari gave him a hard glare. "One last thing Marzzi, I'm a healer, so I deal with a lot of wounded and ill characters... For my records, I write down all their injuries and how they occurred, in the hundred journals I have of this, most are caused by Humans, very few by another race. Often, I have people who get amnesia, where they cant remember stuff... Your telling me to keep in mind how my brother had his taken from him... Imagine those poor souls having it ripped from their grasp due to another Human; children unable to remember their parents, husbands and wives unable to remember the other, elders, fighters who have done good and cant remember that. So yes, my brother had his taken just like everyone else in those worlds, but they can ask for the truth on what they were like, it doesn't affect who they are in that life. Those with amnesia here, they have more lost to them, they have to live with people knowing them, having a connection that they don't know and have to watch that person break down when they realise that, all because of some condition they cant help, or injury another gave them..." Nanari hoped Marzzi would understand, again, she respected his views completely, but it seemed as if he was forgetting that Humans could be just as bad as the other races, if not worse, and he was picking on the easier option to hate. Turning her gaze onto Jasper and Hino, Nanari gave them a small smile. "Sorry again for that... I don't mean to sound as if I hate your views, because I don't. I just hate him picking on my family because its an easy target to get to me."

Marzzi huffed once more, as he listened to Hino's point. He supposed as long as he was a Saint, listening to Jasper's views and going along with them was almost a law. Jasper was chosen as a leader for his skills in making decisions, because like sheep, the others would have to follow them. But this didn't feel like it was just about Jasper being childish and wanting to be adopted anymore. Jasper was opening up to the debate that this was turning into, a debate between this naive woman and Marzzi. And he knew he'd never get along with her, respect her sure, for being able to stand up to the brute, but never trust her. Even Jasper said that anything wrong with his plans to be adopted could be dealt with later, which Marzzi could understand. His strength was needed for these dreams, after that though, Jazz better get ready to prove himself to the gorilla again, or find himself with a real problem. Marzzi scratched his chin, smirking to Nanari, "True, but it's a lot easier to deal with evil when there's only once race to take care of." Marzzi replied, making it fully obvious that his idea of a future involved no such thing a three races, or even three worlds. It frustrated Marzzi that Nanari had a point with her next comment, but the brute didn't let it beat him. "Shit happens." Marzzi muttered in response. Despite not wanting to lose, Marzzi didn't want to say something out of frustration that the others might not like, and something Marzzi himself didn't believe. He wasn't completely evil, after all.
