Shinda's plan was already exploding in his head. He wasn't as confident as he sounded to Tenshi, not in his head anyway. Of course it felt great to have this power, but the pain that came as a cost. Shinda still hurt from losing Sayo, and losing his faith in everything he thought he could rely on, but the Demon wanted to use that pain. Oblivia ran better on pain. That was what Shinda called his magic, Oblivia, magic of the oblivion, that would over the course of time bring an end to many evils that got in Shinda's way. With this magic, somehow Shinda would make a difference on the world. Change it to be right, and not the horror that it was currently. But, he had no idea on how he'd do that. Shinda was strong, his will was unbreakable now, but alone he couldn't be a match to the enemy yet. He needed the alliance of all Demons, which meant creating an entire race of intelligent beings from the feral creatures they currently were. Shinda would consider that later, hopefully relying on the variable power of Oblivia to help accomplish that. Time to think on and consider his course of action was incredibly short, as soon as Shinda was out of Tenshi's house and into the skies, a blast hit his back. It didn't hurt his armoured back much, but caused his wings to stop for that moment. A new flier like Shinda was immediately falling, but as he fell, the swarm of Angels chasing him were already trying to gut the Demon in the sky with their swords. Two minor cuts to his stomach caused the pain Shinda needed to wake up, and he grabbed the arm of one Angel, practically climbing them before biting into their throat. The cries were sweet, as was the Angel's blood Shinda swallowed down. Shoving the injured Angel away, Shinda's wings caught some wind again to keep him in the skies.
Escaping was much harder than Shinda considered. The few who'd first followed the Demon soon gathered in numbers as more were alerted of the violence erupting on their lands. Shinda was deep in a chaotic fight right now, far above any stable ground and using newly grown and never used wings. And the Demon was terrified, to see how easily he was surrounded, and how much pain each Angel gave him with each arrow in his back or cuts to his side. And Shinda didn't even know where to go, not to Dranar at least. He couldn't cause chaos there and endanger the lives of the currently simple and innocent Demons yet. So by nature, Shinda flew towards home, his old home where he'd always considered it to be a sanctuary. Managing to catch the Angel by surprise by releasing a huge field of red mist, Shinda managed to escape them for now, gliding down towards the house he'd once loved. He landed harshly by the front door, exhausted and injured everywhere. His tail dragged as he forced his way inside the quiet, unknowingly peaceful home, and it caught on the door frame. Shinda tugged the pointed tail until he got it loose, losing the cloth used to cover the poisonous tip in the process. Shinda assumed he'd at least have time to dress his wounds a bit, but already he could hear voices outside. The Demon looked all around to each window he could see out of, heart beating heavily as he felt this entrapping situation bear down on him.

Life these days seemed so boring to Sakana now. It was all the same routine. She was becoming just like her parents, the only thing that when growing up Sakana didn't want to end up like. But she'd been dragged down the family trade of worshippers and priests, being priest in training now. She had to go around in pure white clothing that was far too uncomfortable, and was forced away from home too much. She felt bad, with Iruka also training up once more for a job he'd kept secret from the others, Shinda was left alone most days. He only had Sayo nowadays , so Sakana had taken the chance on her rare days off to give him a lift to his others house. The adult Demon hardly got to go out, and after years of teasing him, Sakana wanted her brother to be happy. She had a smile on her face as she left him at Tenshi's, returning to the empty house to be alone, without complaint. Sakana made her way into the kitchen, pouring a drink of tea for herself and sat by the window. Laid out on the table already were notes Sakana had been forced to make, notes on the Sun goddess and the powers of souls. It was the least boring of the boring crap Sakana had to remember as a priest. Something about how the soul was a source of pure power, when one died, their souls travelled to the sun to connect to their goddess and give her the power to continue to shine upon them all. Sakana really didn't care for it, she didn't even have her own magic yet to care about how her soul worked. As far as gaining magic was concerned, Sakana was a really late bloomer, and it kinda annoyed her. Sakana sipped her tea, sieving through all the notes with little interest. It would be boring until some others got back, but Sakana could hardly complain. A lot of the time Shinda was left alone like this, and he did fine, more than fine considering all the chores he did. Sakana wasn't so dedicated to helping around the house, she considered that fact that she was thus far complying with her parents desires to make her priest as enough work. The Angel girl had just finished her tea, looking up as shadows passed across the sun-rays coming from the window. First one, then many more. Sakana leaned over to look better, up in the sky, a small army of Angels seemed to be making their way passed the house. Which was a weird sight, this house was far from anyone to be flown over by so many.
Already struck with a bad feeling, as Sakana went to get up, she was startled by the noise at the front door. Someone had broken it down. Sakana quietly made her way to the front door, seeing who it was. Almost unrecognisable at first due to the wings, but it was pretty hard not to recognise a Demon. She was about to ask Shinda what was up, until she noticed his wounds. The poor guy had been sliced up badly, all over the soft area of his body from stomach to neck and face. There were voices outside, Angels screaming for the attention of others. They were ordering an attack, insulting Demons with harsh words and claiming that 'they'd no longer show mercy'. Sakana was no genius, but even she could grasp at what this all meant. She swallowed hard, wondering what kind of trauma Shinda must have been put through to be like this, and wanting to help. So she shuffled closer, skittishly checking around as the noise outside amplified. Sakana carefully placed a hand on Shinda's shoulder as it heaved, "Shinda, what's-" Sakana begun, before her voice was ripped from her, as a poisoned tail stuck her in the stomach.

Shinda's wings felt so heavy and painful, due to living a life without having them there. In fact, everything hurt, and the blood loss from those damn, silver Angel weapons was pulsing like a toxin through Shinda's head. So much, too much, had happened so quickly. From the heart ache to the realisations to the chase from so many. Shinda had become a true Demon so quickly, and he felt like it was now killing him. And if the pain wasn't going to end Shinda, then the evil outside was going to try. He didn't want to give up, but there were voices everywhere outside, all asking for Demon blood. Shinda growled weakly, damn those Angels. All the plans the awakened Demon wanted to have to create a better world, now he was going to be put down for just being of a different blood. He felt so infuriated. His growls got stronger as he heard more commotion outside, everyone forming an plan to kill the Demon without losing to many of their own. Whilst it gave Shinda a moment, it also terrified him as each noise felt like a danger. There was scratching against the roof as those outside began to land, which made Shinda wait now to the inevitable. And it appeared behind him, one the Angels must have sneaked in from around the back, going to kill the Demon mercilessly from behind. Well, Shinda didn't wait for one moment, or even turn around to face the attacker who'd grabbed his shoulder. With one swift movement of his lighter tail, Shinda stabbed them in the stomach, the strength of his tail pushing the tip almost all the way through. The savage look Shinda had as he turned to face his attack, soon withdrew to horror as he looked up to the surprised, pale face of his close friend, his once sister. "S... Sakana? N-no." Shinda muttered, removing his poisoned tail and catching the unfortunate girl as she began to fall back. Shinda began to whimper, his heart had changed to hate all Angels now, but there was no way he could hate his family. Sure, he'd try to never again consider them so close, but that didn't mean he wanted to kill them. Sakana, she'd made Shinda scared and attack blindly, he'd not meant to hurt her like this. But there was nothing the Demon could do, other than watch the life bleed out of his sister from his deadly poison.

Sakana had a ways to go before she understood how the world worked. In the past, as the others came to grips with things such as love, or starting families, Sakana was just looking to have fun. She'd never cared that Shinda was a Demon, or cared about how Demons were different anyway or about any part of life beyond adolescence. Sakana was truly a child at heart, so naive as she desired life to be nothing but spent with her friends and family. To have fun and laugh at them, whilst aiming to become a famous and well known Angel. Sakana never had the chance to feel what love was like, beyond the care for her family, and it looked like she never would. Past the excruciating pain of Shinda stabbing her, she felt the full force of his potent poison that they'd avoided for years. It was like the poison had it's own pulse, beating and punching around Sakana's blood stream as it travelled all around. Her legs felt non-existent, so weak as the poison cut off movement. And the pain was like nothing the peaceful girl had ever experienced. The poison changed all other senses in Sakana's body into pure pain, so much that she couldn't breath, let alone speak out for Shinda's sake. Though her mind rapidly closed down, Sakana still wasn't an idiot, this was just a mistake, one the others had hoped to avoid in the past by covering Shinda's tail. He jumped easy, and was only defending himself from what he thought was a threat. By the looks of his wounds, and the sounds from outside, Sakana knew Shinda must be in trouble, and even more scared than usual. So despite this hellish pain, Sakana felt bad for her brother still, knowing he hated harm coming to his friends. Right now he must feel beyond awful for this, but there was no way for Sakana to reassure him that this was all an accident, especially as her mouth began to foam up. What movement there was left in Sakana's little dying body, she used to lift a hand to Shinda's head, just behind his ears, where the Demon always used to love to be scratched. It almost made her chuckle, remembering how the cute little Demon used to always squirm and coo in a silly little way, each time he got a fuss. Times sure did change. With that happy memory in her head, Sakana hand dropped down dead, the pain in her body calming down like waves after a storm, and her innocent blue eyes turned dull and embraced in death.

There was no return from Shinda's poison. He'd never killed that Demon with it, back when they'd first visited Dranar. But that was a tough Demon, and Sakana was one smaller than average Angel. And, it went to say that Shinda's tail had a lot of poison stored in it, for years it had waited without a use. Now it finally struck its prey, and showed Sakana no mercy as the poison sank its way right into her. Shinda could do nothing but watch his sister in pain, his head shaking slightly, and whimpering coming from his quivering lips. This wasn't how Shinda wanted his family to die. Forgotten as he wanted them to be, Shinda didn't want them dead yet, he wanted them living to the end, to see the new and wonderful world Shinda would offer. But, that world required the death of each and every Angel. So Shinda looked down to his sister, refusing to drop any tears, just as he'd refused to before. He supposed, it was best Sakana died now, thinking that all was still right with the world, that her little Demon brother had simply killed her by accident, and he wasn't a true murderer. But Shinda's taste for blood had already taken lives before hers, and it would continue to do so even after this fateful night. It such a confusing belief Shinda held. He wanted his friends to live, but he also didn't want them alive to bear witness to his new world. He managed to smile as Sakana's last energy was put into stroking his head, the Demon humouring her with a little coo. But then the life left Sakana's eyes, and Shinda knew now what the signs of death looked like enough to know there was no need to comfort Sakana anymore. As he went to move on, Shinda was made aware of the people outside, as they blasted through the kitchen window. The strong winds caused papers left on the side to fly towards Shinda's feet, and the Demon got to look at one particular picture as he blocked himself from the shattered glass. It depicted someone's soul, and described how ones soul was the essence of magic. The sun goddess took souls of the dead to keep powerful. Which meant, one could absorb the soul of another to get more power. Shinda's eyes became serious, as he looked to Sakana's body. It was still fresh with a soul inside, and so prematurely, Shinda thanked his friend for the gift she was about to give Shinda, a gift that might just get the Demon out of this situation alive. He stood back, holding his hand out before Sakana's body, and letting the flow of Oblivia magic take over her. It went inside the dead girls body, sucking all essence of power out. It sucked Sakana dry, until finally, her body exploded into particles of red, particles Shinda then proceeded to eat like floating snacks. They tasted of nothing, but once consumed, Shinda felt the new burst of energy. Satisfied, Shinda gathered up the notes that had fallen to the floor in his hand, preparing to make his escape once more, only there were now Angels inside the house, with weapons aimed at the Demon now. And the one who stood out from the group, closer to Shinda, was a face the Demon recognised all too well.

There was a reason Iruka had been keeping it secret from the others about his current job. Because he'd decided to join Aura's main defence. A group formed to, more often than not, repel and destroy Demon activity. Iruka knew if the others were aware of it, they'd assume their Iruka was changing sides, removing Demons from his heart. But in fact, it was the opposite. Iruka had done nothing but serve the guard faction well. He'd come across no situation that required him to take a life, Angel or Demon, and Iruka hoped his good faith and work would gain him titles as a reward. And the higher Iruka climbed, the more his voice might be heard. At that point, Iruka could explain to the world of clouds, that Demons aren't evil monsters to eliminate. That both races could live in peace, if only Angels would throw away their prejudice and discriminating ways. So right now, Iruka just needed to go through the boring ass training and earn his way to the top. All the while, hoping the others would forgive him on the day they found out. Iruka didn't plan on letting them know any time soon. After all, there was so much happiness in Iruka little group of adolescents, whom he couldn't believe were all young adults now. Tenshi's pregnancy, Shinda and Sayo's desire to create their own family and home. Many things to warm the hearts of all in Iruka's group, and so he didn't want to have the blame for breaking such happiness just yet. Not until he could back it up with the news of a peace between races.
Iruka was just ending his scout, untying the ropes on his armour, before one other scout came bursting into the room. Apparently, the Tyrion household was under attack from an unknown Demon type. The description was vague, but Iruka was well aware who they were speaking of. Iruka wanted desperately to be there to stop the others from hurting Shinda, but he'd missed the chance, being turned around by the scout group that had travelled before him, as they explained the Demon had fled elsewhere. According to the words of his fellows, Iruka was told that Shinda had completely destroyed the body of Tyrion, killed Tenshi's mother and even a female Demon. Iruka refused to believe that Shinda was the cause of the latter's death, but all the deaths he couldn't conceive as being Shinda's fault. He wasn't that kind of Demon... unless it was to protect the others. Iruka flew as fast as he could. He couldn't trust his comrades to not kill Shinda, as many of them had been injured just trying to stop the wanted Demon. Iruka followed the group of guards all the way to his own home. Iruka's usually neutral face was always contorted with sweat and fear, and his fellow scouts continued to glance suspiciously his way as they honed down on Iruka's house. It took a while to find entry into the house, and Iruka barged to the front of the group of Angels, hoping to make sure no more tragedy sudden befell on this day. Although, Iruka's eyes felt burned by what he saw. Sakana, her body was already limb and dead, and above her stood Shinda. He was changed, from his stance to his glare, Shinda was broken. And, using some sort of magic, something none of the Angelic eyes in the room could believe, Shinda continued to destroy Sayo's body, taking her very soul and consuming it. When Shinda's eyes met his, Iruka felt it hard to even stand anymore. "Shinda you..." Iruka muttered, not caring if the other Angels now knew his connection to this Demon. "You... killed her?" Iruka's voice was shattered now, and tears wetted his face. "And... the reports... did you, kill the others too?" Iruka shook like a leaf, before he shook his head, flickering tears away. He refused to break completely, this wasn't the time. "Why... please, tell me why." Iruka asked, wanting to know his closest friend, the Demon he'd raised's side of this horrid story.
But a reply never came from Shinda, or rather, the Demon's voice was stolen before he could speak. An arrow came down and shot straight through Shinda's lower neck. Iruka looked for the archer, but was distracted by the other Angels now advancing on Shinda. Iruka didn't even think, he just drew his sword and slammed it down over the other's spears and weapons, trying his hardest to make sure no more Angelic weapons touched Shinda. "G-go! Shinda, run now!" Iruka ordered to his little Demon friend, before soon being disarmed and pinned by the guards around him. He'd gained as much attention away from Shinda as he could, but now Iruka was forced to watch his gravely injured friend try to run from the unrelenting force surround him, and it wasn't a sight Iruka wanted to see after all that had already happened today.

Shinda stared right at Iruka. A part of him wondered why the Angel he'd viewed like a father, was surrounding himself with the likes of those who hunted Demons. But, Shinda couldn't let his mind shy away from the most important matter now. Iruka would have to know what happened here. Shinda hated Angels now, but he could never hate someone like Iruka, who saw Demons with a spark of... admiration, and caring. The likes of which others hadn't possessed to such an extent before. And so, he didn't want to leave this place with Iruka believing his Demon son had brutally killed his sister in cold blood. It was an accident, Shinda needed to explain that to him. But, giving Iruka importance over his own skin, Shinda was distracted from the eminent danger around him. He went to speak, before blood, rather than words, left his mouth. Shinda tried to breathe, finding pain in every meaningless breath. He lifted a claw to the area of pain, looking down to see an Arrow pierced through his neck. Shinda's voice squealed and cried, unable to fathom any words in front of these Angels who all saw him as an injured, savage animal. Shinda feel to the floor, almost caught by the pain and lack of breath, before he witnessed Iruka's desperate attempt to save him.
Shinda was woken from his pained trance by Iruka's orders. The Demon ripped the arrow from his throat, having no time to even heal the wound with magic as others swarmed. Shinda turned his heel, unable to even give Iruka a silent farewell as he was forced to barge through others. By the time Shinda had forced his way out of the door, spears rested like pins on his body. They restricted Shinda, but they wouldn't stop him from flying. Shinda fell into the air, using his new wings to lift him up, to prepare to dive down and escape to the safety of Dranar. But then, Shinda saw a flash of light skim his head, and the feeling of his wings disappeared. In a split second, Shinda discovered what had been his fate. Other Angels laying in wait on the rooftops had prepared a Light magic cannon, and fired it at the Demon when he took to the skies. Shinda's wings were scorched into nothingness, and along with that, a good portion of Shinda's side had also been bitten off by the merciless cannon. All feeling left Shinda, the magic cannon wielded by Angels ripped everything from Shinda. All he could do was keep his lifeless eyes open, and consciousness hanging from a fragile thread as he watched the world spin around him. From flying, to falling, Shinda had just enough life left to watch everything go drifting away from him, until all that was left were dark clouds that soon engulfed the Demon, as he dropped into Dranar like a rock. Shinda slammed into the earth that he'd wanted to return to, but by that point, there wasn't a spark of life left in him.
