Notes: A little collective thread of the Mun Clan recently, and how they're handling the recent Nightmare attacks. It's set in current time, so yeah.
For a clan that loved the night, sleep was still something they appreciated. And right now, people weren't getting much of it. Hada refused to sleep most of the time, thinking she could help keep them from trouble if she was awake. Of course, recent information told the clan that this murderer might not be possible to stop for those awake. Whoever they were, they attacked those in a dream, so anyone left awake could do nothing but be helpless to their friends being hurt. And Hada hated that the most, as did everyone. So perhaps people were considering ignoring sleep altogether as the only way to avoid trouble. Hada could see adults handling the tired strain, but the young ones of the clan, Hada didn't want to see them get sick from all this worry. Walking around, Hada saw a lot more faces going around then there should be at this point of night. Twice she ran into youngsters, trying to get them to go and sleep for a bit, reassuring them that the clan would look after them. Hada did wonder, the clan had little to no spark of an attack. And Hada had her own little theory... Of course, based completely from what her brother had told her. That many in the clan were tough, and the murders weren't completely random. It seemed the killer went for targets they know they could defeat. Because if they couldn't, then it meant the victim would be able to wake up and tell others what was happening. As far as Hada, or rather Akvan, was concerned, the Mun Clan was pretty safe, since many members here were built to be tougher than most. Hada yawned loudly, hauling her sword over her shoulder to keep safe, and simply paced the housing area like some sort of guard. But all Hada really tried to do was ward off sleep, try to help the weaker ones from getting some to regain strength, and look around at the third resurrection of the Mun Clan.

Akvan certainly wasn't going to sleep. And he could use the excuse that he himself sort of believed. That as a Sun Child, sleeping wasn't necessary, so long as Akvan could absorb power from the Sun or Moon. Of course, since the Sun Goddess told Akvan she wasn't granting him power anymore, receiving energy from the sunlight was harder, and perhaps it wasn't working at all. But Akvan wouldn't admit in his doubts, he would sleep even if he was tired, and no one was making him. Because he was needed for night watch. No one else had the power Akvan did, being able to see souls and entities of magic. It was unproven so far, but after learning that the recent murders were induced by a killer working through nightmares, Akvan assumed he could locate who was being attacked, by the change in colour or magic in their souls. So Akvan would remain awake for as long as he could, either walking around, or floating on a golden disk in the sky and observing all from above. Stopping himself from yawning, Akvan noticed his sister wandering about down below, the same need to protect the clan like Akvan was expressed on her soul. Smiling, Akvan summoned a few more disks to stairway his descent down, before walking to catch up with Hada. "Shouldn't you be sleeping young one?" Akvan asked over, in a mocking tone, knowing it would annoy Hada. Chuckling at he dropped the act, Akvan looked around. "Y-you were never one to get sleep. Even w-when you were a kid, that energy you had never ended." Akvan commented, getting a good look at Hada. "S-sister, you look pale and tired. The clan will be fine tonight, you should sleep whilst it's still calm."
He sighed, "But I can't b-blame you, hardly anyone I can see is actually sleeping. We need to fix this, and soon." Akvan stated. What annoyed and made Akvan dread this nightmare attacker most, was the fact that the dreamer was all but alone during an attack. Akvan couldn't protect others if they were caught, and that made the Sun child feel weak.

Labari hadn't slept at all since hearing how all these deaths had occurred, and how easy it was for the culprit to get someone. Instead, Labari watched the members sleeping, in a hope that she could wake them at the slightest sign of danger, but it was easier said then done, not knowing the signs until it was too late, as she had heard from others. She had asked around, people who had family as victims, to see if she could find anything out. But watching as both Hada and Flood began talking as she switched rooms, proved to her just how little people knew, Labari joined them both, perhaps they could work out something, anything... Maybe get this notorious Yume's help in some way, because from everything she has heard, she may be the only one who can stop this, the only one who can help. "Only a couple are sleeping, and its because they physically couldn't remain awake anymore. But I agree, this needs stopping before more innocent people die." Labari hated this feeling of uselessness, unable to do anything to help, not knowing what to do to help. "We have to do something."

Hada rolled her eyes at the voice behind her. She'd not heard that tone since she was a kid trying to avoid her helpful older brother and his desire to get her sleeping a good long night, when all she really wanted to do was go explore like he did late at night, go fight bad guys and look awesome. Glaring back to Flood, Hada almost smiled at his need to reminisce. Ever since the girl was just as tall as him, Flood was always going on about what Hada was like as that stubborn little ex-slave girl. She then huffed, looking Flood up and down. "Don't look that good yourself, brother." Hada replied, beginning to drop the glare. Sighing, and yawning, Hada nodded to Flood, smiling to Labari as she also came over. "Yeah, I don't like seeing all the youngsters walking around so scared, and just hearing the stories too." Hada replied to both, placing her sword into the ground to lean on it. "Wasn't there that Angel lady we needed the help of?"

It annoyed Akvan that he couldn't figure out this magic. Or at least, it was very complex. If only Akvan could get to see it in action, being actually used, then he could try and mirror it to understand the properties. Maybe find a way to counter it, or else find the culprit from it. It felt like the strong magic users duty to this clan to know all there was to know about magic, and to tell those who asked him that Akvan had no clue about this very ancient and very complex nightmare magic, only dwindled that already weak faith the clan members collectively had in him. Akvan looked over to Labari when she joined them, humming in agreement, and ignoring Hada's concern for his health. He'd easily outlast everyone in terms of getting sleep, even without sunlight to support the Sun child, he was tougher. "Y-yes, the Angel Guardian of Dreams, Yume." Akvan replied, placing arms over his chest. "Not m-many know where she is, or dare to approach. A-apparently she doesn't like... well, p-people. For someone to get her help, that someone would have to be p-pretty... charismatic about it."

Labari gave a small smile to the other two. We all knew very little about this nightmare magic being used, but Labari had been talking to Tenshi, the source of their knowledge. All Labari knew was that to truly defeat this woman plaguing these people, they would have to destroy the source, and the only one who could help was the infamous Yume. A woman so crazy and secluded, few knew of her location, few dared go near that place, in fear of what she would do. Labari had found the information from Tenshi, the two on good terms despite her leave as an Angel, a secret Labari still carried even today. But, Akvan was right, it would take someone Charismatic to convince her, and even then, it would take more, Yume refused access to both Tenshi, and the new King. A random other wouldn't get such a nice treatment. "She hates people, Tenshi nor King Kakushin could get close without repercussions. For her to help, we need someone willing to be both Charismatic, and unstoppable with their mission... Yume is one to scare another off with her... Quirks. Most wont be able to deal with that... And even then its a slim chance, she may not know a thing as well, so its a long shot for both. But, if we manage to find someone... I know where she is..."

Post by Gensho Night on Jun 15, 2015 22:03:53 GMT
Gensho did enjoy his job for all the years he'd run it. But when controlling the night also meant maintaining the time when those poor tired people around were attacked by some evil nightmare woman, Gensho began to enjoy getting on with his job less and less. Tonight was another night were Gensho himself dreaded wandering around too much. He didn't want to hear the horrible screams of people woken up by their own nightmares over what might happen, or the ones waking up to find their family killed. Gensho didn't like it, and after all the nice things that had happened over the last couple of years, Gensho felt like this was really dampening the mood of everyone. But spirits were never low with Gensho, he remained positive through a lot of things, and this would be no different. His clever twin brother was already thinking endlessly on the way to fix everything, as was everyone else in the Mun clan and in other places. Collectively, as all races suffered from these attacks, they could all finally find a reason to come together and find a solution to the nightmares. Gensho was just about done flying around his night sky, landing back in the clan to soon spot his brother and two sisters. He overheard the last few things said by Labari. "Well, well, no lady can be that closed off. Perhaps we are not giving her a chance, a true Gentleman might be able to win over our reluctant friend." Gensho added, placing a hand on Labari's shoulder before addressing all three of them. "I can't help but feel like you were calling me specifically, with this 'someone' talk," Gensho said, "and if the situation concerning this lady Yume is as dire as you say, then I would be honoured to offer my assistance, on the word of a Gentleman to win over her help in solving the current issue."
