Note: Yes, Yes I am making this. Why? Need you ask such a thing after like 10 months of Jazzy's shenanigans? Takes place... lets say around the beginning of the site, so like half a year before the Ballroom's event.
It took a lot to get Onrah nervous. He was hated by as many people as he was loved. And the ones who hated him were almost always out for blood. But even they never got a reaction from Onrah. No, the one thing to truly make Onrah nervous were days like this, when working along his Angel Guardian counterpart. Dove, a name fit for a lady glowing in light and radiance, just like her. And of course, Onrah had told her that many many times over. In fact, he'd pretty much tried every trick in the book for trying to win over the Guardian of Life. All of the pick-up lines, all of the gifts and compliments. Hell, Onrah had even gone as far as to look to Gensho for help, but even Gensho's hopeless romanticism wasn't enough. Dove was one tough lady, and she'd known Onrah as her friend for many years. She gained her Guardianship before Onrah earned his Godliness, which meant from the moment Onrah had become God of Death, he'd had her willing assistance in getting the balance of life and death just right. And how long had Onrah gone on knowing he liked this woman? Well, Onrah had feelings for almost every Angel lady out there, but Dove was different. The way Onrah felt his stomach dance when around her... meant something, other than for all the other woman Onrah hopelessly complimented and tried to flirt with. And Onrah really wanted Dove to know that, other than just see Onrah's need to act all charismatic as nothing more than simple Onrah being Onrah, and realise what he was really trying to say.
Onrah took a few breaths, going to the usual meeting point. Since both were in charge of opposite things, and both got alone, Onrah and Dove agreed on most occasions to work together. Life and Death was, after all, the ultimate balance in these worlds. And for the Guardian and God of either to get along like the two long-time friends did, was perfect. Onrah ducked under a few branches, smiling as he saw Dove waiting patiently by the small waterfall. "Life bringing you down?" Onrah asked, like he did every time they met, as some sort of running joke. Stepping over to the stream, Onrah simply stared at Dove for a moment, blinking himself awake. "Oh, I got you these, found them on my way here, they looked beautiful, just like your eyes." Onrah said, holding out a bunch of azure blue flowers.

Note: Obviously not actually Ikiru in this, but using his account to RP as his older sister, Dove.
Dove looked up at the small trickle of water that came from the waterfall. This stream was always their meeting place, ever since Onrah had made some sort of cheesy comment like that the 'waterfall only radiated Dove's beauty' or something like that. She'd be lying if she said sometimes the Demon's compliments got to her, but Dove knew better than to be fallen by them. She was an Angel, and had plenty of other Angel lady friends who'd told her about the Demon God hunting around for them, looking to woo them all over with his funny pick-up lines or badly prepared yet somehow inspiring poems. So naturally, Dove knew that Onrah was only doing to her, what he did to every Angel woman out there. It would insult some, but Dove had known her friend for a long time, and now it just felt so natural to hear Onrah constantly look for any reason to compliment Dove.
She quietly chuckled to herself, thinking of the last time Onrah tried to, and failed to, woo Dove with some sort of little routine. Unfortunately, they'd been on an inclined rooftop, and moving one foot only ended with Onrah crashing down to the empty street below. He tried so hard, Dove assumed it was all to make her laugh. Sighing, Dove turned when she heard the heavy footsteps of her Demon God companion. He was seven foot tall, there was no way the elephant of a man could be quiet about anything, so it made Dove smile to watch Onrah manoeuvre through the forest to get to her. She lightly chuckled as he repeated the same phrase to her as always, and as always, she replied as she always did. "You bet, it'll bring Death to me." She replied, turning to face Onrah. She scoffed at the presentation of flowers, shaking her head lightly. "And so you decided to end their beautiful lives just to present me with their corpses?" Dove asked, before taking the flowers to let Onrah know she was joking, but she knew he'd probably react as if she wasn't anyway. "Thank you." She added, going on her tip-toes just to give her friend a hug. "How are the brothers? The shy and the fabulous? Still the same?" Dove asked as she pulled back.

Onrah chuckled to Dove's reply. It was a long running joke they'd both used for years now, almost a form of greetings between the pair. Dove's idea, because she was funny as well as clever and beautiful. He held out the flowers to Dove, hoping to see some sort of sparkle in her eyes, but instead Onrah winced. Yes, maybe presenting some picked flowers to the one in charge of given even plants their life source wasn't the best idea. But Onrah had been pressed on things to give Dove on his way here. And so flowers had been a rushed thing, but Onrah was being truthful on how they reflected Dove's amazing blue eyes at least. He chuckled awkwardly, "Well, no I just... Well the balance of flowers was all off, so I felt it was the best opportunity to bring the numbers down." He replied quickly, before Dove gave him a hug. Onrah leaned down a bit to be less imposing, squeezing Dove tight before listening to her question. "Oh their fine. Gensho is Gensho, doing what he loves all night and getting over the hangovers all day. Akvan is getting better. I know I say it every time, but I think the last chat I had with him really got through." He said, leaning against the side of the waterfall. "How's Ikiru?" Onrah asked, the textbook first conversation that he and Dove shared when meeting up. They had a few days together to discuss pretty much everything on their minds, but it always started with the others family first.

Dove's eyes did sparkle, but more over the fact that she'd got Onrah squirming with her harsh replies, and it was always funny when the usually cool Demon God made a funny face like the awkward one he was currently wearing. Dove raised a brow in a fake, judgemental manner. "Oh? So are you saying that I'm not doing my job at balancing Life very well? OR are you saying that you were merely doing your job? And these flowers were just left over from your duties?" Dove questioned, before chuckling healthily. She wouldn't press anymore into it, not point in remaining cruel to her best friend like that. So Dove simply poked Onrah a bit teasingly before holding her flowers tightly. She nodded to how Onrah's two little brothers were doing. They were the highlight of Onrah's usual conversations when he wasn't busy trying to woo. And it was easy to see how much the tall Demon cared for them, and Dove found it cute. She'd cared for her own little brother before he was even an Angel, watching his last few years as a Human before taking care of him in the Angelic world. Though she felt a little sympathy for Onrah, and his littlest brother Akvan. Every time he said the depressed little guy was getting better, but Dove knew otherwise. She never had the heart to not encourage Onrah to keep trying to help his little brother more, but after so long it almost felt a little pointless to try anymore. Dove hummed, "He's fine as ever, I'd prefer to see him take care of himself a little more. Our poor Shyni is getting old just making sure Ikiru doesn't accidentally drown or kill himself. I'd like Ikiru to show some maturity, perhaps then he could get a Guardianship at last, I just know he'd be good at it, if he tried." She replied, smiling to Onrah as she knelt down on the ground. She took one flower from her bunch, pressing the stem into the ground, and then tapping the top with some Life magic. The flower began gleaming with life again, and Dove smirked to Onrah. "There, now there's no harm done." She stated, before standing up again. "Shall we get started? I believe the first stop is Baransu?"

Onrah was going a little red now. Dove knew exactly how to crumble up his efforts to be kind and flirty. Onrah knew at this point, she must be joking, Dove never got actually made at Onrah, but even if she was joking or not, it still made the Demon God panic. "No! That's not what I... I'm just going to stop now, you'll win either way." Onrah stated, mostly to himself. He chuckled a little, letting that moment pass and Dove have her usual victory over him. He listened to Dove's side of family just as well as she'd done for his, and was quick to respond. "If he's anything like his sister, then Ikiru will be an amazing Guardian, but of course, no one can be as amazing as the lovely Guardian of Life." Onrah watched Dove bring life back to one of the flowers, a little trick she could only do on such simple lifeforms, but was still miraculous to watch. And when performed by someone with such alluring and soft hands, it was even more of a privilege to watch. "Dazzling, as always from someone so elegant." Onrah replied like it was second nature, although he wished it would be taken as more for once. Onrah pushed himself off of the side of rock, nodding to Dove. "Of course, your loveliness, time to put our balance on this world." Onrah said, summoning his wings, and holding a hand out to Dove to help her fly up to a good height, something rather courteous amongst the flying races. Baransu was a lot of work. It was the largest city known so far in Sohul, and thus had a lot of activity going on. Life being made here, Death being granted over there. But Onrah and Dove were used to this, flying around non stop to be at the aid of whatever side of their balancing scales needed their interference. It really was a constant day. Of course, Life and Death would occur naturally, without Dove or Onrah's help. But there were some cases where Guardian or Godly influence was needed, and the pair had instincts to tell them where and what those cases were. After a few hours, the Angel and Demon dropped their wings for a bit, choosing to land down on one of the small coasts of Baransu, empty and peaceful. Onrah prepared a little area to side down, offering to help Dove down with a smile. "Lots of activity, as usual." Onrah stated, before sitting down himself. They stayed there for a little, before Onrah thought of something, something at last that he really wanted to know. "As always, I loved your company, Dove." Onrah said, placing a hand across her face to brush some of the hair away. "I love you."

Dove laughed triumphantly. "Haha! Of course I always win." She replied with a wink, before taking Onrah's hand for a moment whilst they both flew up to get to Baransu. Dove enjoyed her work beyond watching the new life being granted into the world. She also enjoyed watching Onrah's reaction to it all. She didn't pity him for his job, since she knew Onrah understood what balance needed to exist. But she knew deep down, Onrah didn't like killing, or taking life away from someone, especially when they were so young. Then there were moments like this, when the Demon was watching through a window as Dove helped life fall over a new born baby, when Onrah's eyes sparkled again. And the joy in those eyes grew into a wisdom, a wisdom the Demon was so desperate to share onto his younger brother. And Dove felt... honoured, to be the source of that smile Onrah always wore when watching her help create life. They'd decided to take a break, two lives granted, and three taken, the average amount for half a days work on one city. Dove sighed as she sat down, nodding her head. "Yes, I can only imagine what it might be like in a few years. Our schedule makes a good balance, but even so, every time we come here I feel as though there are more and more people going around... It's a change, huh?" Dove commented, not knowing how to feel about the increasing Human population. Of course, she enjoyed seeing more life, but there were always other things to consider. Dove listened to Onrah like he said this all the time, which he did. But the last statement felt a little different, and Onrah almost looked serious when he said it. Dove took a hold of his hand nonetheless. "And I love you too, you've been my closest friend so as long as I can remember Onrah." Dove replied, squeezing Onrah's hand before leaning on his shoulder as she watched the waves brush the shore.

Onrah hummed. "A good change, as I see it. I almost feel, I don't know... proud? Like a parent watching a child grow up. Sure Humans would have flourished without us, but I just consider all of the trips they might have fallen over to get where they are now. Trips that we've managed to clear from their path. I wonder sometimes, where it will all lead. Will there be a time when all three races hold equal power and understanding? I can only hope greater numbers means greater chances for peace." Onrah monologued, speaking his feelings over the last few years. How Onrah longed to see the day that a three way deal could be made. If only for a moment, Onrah wanted everyone to stand and realise how similar everyone was to one another, and be at peace. If only for a moment, before the fight began again. Onrah felt a flicker of hope when Dove took his hand, smiling only to drop it a moment later, looking away towards the sea. "Yeah... friends, just friends." Onrah muttered, letting Dove rest on his shoulder, glad his missing eye was the one Dove could see, and not his good eye, which was currently glum as he too watched the waves just a few feet in front of them.

Dove listened to how Onrah put it, a smile on her face. "How very wisely put, you sound like some century old man." Dove jested as she leaned on his shoulder. Dove sighed a little. She may joke, but she understood wholeheartedly what Onrah meant. Yes, it did feel good to see Humans flourish. Not because it meant one day the numbers of Angels and Demons would also increase, that wasn't even a factor in Dove's opinion. But because, it did feel like a parent watching a child grow, helping them along the way whether the child liked it or not. And now, everyone was at the point where it was hard to tell if any of the three races was stronger than the others. In Dove's opinion, Humans were just as tough as Angels and Demons now. What this independence meant, Dove didn't know. How would Humans react in a few years when they were the largest population? Dove could only pray such a thing as war didn't appear, these worlds didn't need another one of those. Dove listened, and frowned, to how Onrah sounded when he muttered. Funny, she'd usually taken his comments like jokes. His needs to compliment or express his love as nothing but a friendly game Dove's friend had kept up for so long now. But, could it be that Dove was only assuming Onrah was simply being how he normally was. It was obviously harder for someone who openly flirted to find a way to express his actual feelings, so was Dove simply ignoring what Onrah really meant? Dove's head slowly lifted from the Demon's shoulder, frown increasing as she studied the half of Onrah's face she could see. "Hey... Onrah. You, haven't been serious all this time, have you?" The Angel asked, giggling a little as she felt like she already knew the answer. Honestly, it was flattering. To have the admiration of what some of Dove's friends called, the 'Tall, Dark and Handsome' Demon God. And she had to admit, she kind of felt the same. It was hard when mixed with all the feelings of close friendship. So Dove shook her head a little, leaning up to kiss Onrah's cheek. "You poor idiot." She muttered.
