What was only a few minutes of waiting felt like forever. Obviously they'd managed to fill up all the seats placed, and so the turn out of people there was perfect. But in waiting, all of Kakushin's impatient nerves were blooming, and it took a great deal of deep breaths. Neko had jumped for a moment on Kaku's shoulder, after letting in the last of the guests the cat was finally getting into the good mood of this occasion. "You look great Kaku, and this day is going to great too. So quit being nervous, nothing can change how good this day will be, believe me. We worked hard to make this day perfect for you two, because you deserve it, so start smiling before I force one on your face." Kakushin chuckled, nodding to his feline friend and stroking Neko's head. "Thanks Neko, for everything." The cat huffed, "No need to get all sentimental Kaku. This day marks the beginning of a new life for you, and Rurushu, hopefully one where I don't have to worry about babysitting you anymore." Neko smiled a little, brushing Kaku's face with his tail before hopping over to Ikiru's shoulder to remain there.
Just before anything else happened, a final visitor skipped his way up to the front. Kakushin grinned to the small purple man, bowing his head to Mo no matter the Demon's status now. There were murmurs already going around, Mo had kept hidden from a lot of people. Even though he was no longer hiding, it was hard to see Mo when he spent so long away somewhere. And so there were glad faces all around to see the old Demon still looking healthy. Kakushin looked up and down Mo's pick of outfits today. It was an altered version of his usual poncho, laced with gold around the usual black. His hat was also different, a smaller one that resembled more of a top hat. It still covered Mo's large head, but also uncovered a small bit of brushed pink hair as well. "Thanks Mo, for doing this for us."
The Demon giggled, waddling up the hand-crafted platform made for Mo to stand on to reach better heights. "No need to thank me. It's my pleasure, after all, thanks to you youngster me and Tenshi can finally live that retirement we dreamed of." Mo replied with a wink, waving to Tenshi as he mentioned his friend. Kaku didn't chat with the old Demon King for long, before many heads turned to hear footsteps of someone else. Kaku grinned to Nanari, knowing what her being here meant. She walked in quietly, sending down word to the front that it was time. Kakushin nodded, facing away from the door restlessly as his small peak of nerves were replaced with joy over it all beginning now.

Ru stood out the doors in complete and utter nervousness about what lied beyond them, rocking back and forth slightly waiting. He knew he would have to calm his jitters before entering, though he would have to admit the comfort from Chester and Nanari was enough to calm him down enough. Sending a small smile to the others, Ru looked to the door as he heard the music begin to play and the sound of everyone standing, taking a deep calming breath. The doors opened, and Ru began taking slow and steady steps, he could hear the mumbles and laughs about what he was wearing, but in all, he could tell most, despite the shock, actually liked it... It was showing in their eyes, not that he looked for long, when he saw Kaku. Ru felt a huge smile lift his face once he saw him, and his eyes never left the other figure the entire time, laughing slightly to himself over the look he bared, that alone made wearing a dress (and being shown as the girl in the relationship, not that Ru was really complaining) worth it. Sending Kaku a small amused smile as he reached the front, Ru looked to him sheepishly. "The girls made me." Being what he whispered loud enough for only Kaku to hear. Turning towards his bridesmaids briefly and giving them a smile, Ru turned his attention back to Kaku and taking his hands in his, before turning his attention to Mo, ready for the ceremony to begin.

All the chairs moved behind Kaku, though he made sure to continue to face forwards. Which sounded easy, but felt like the most impossibly hard thing to do, especially hearing the music start and the footsteps towards the front. And of course, Kaku not turning around lasted pretty much as long as it took Ru to move two feet forwards. And it was worth turning around for. After all, Kakushin needed the time to actually compose himself. He had to immediately mentally congratulate the girls on managing to get Ru to actually wear a dress, and then for the amazing work they'd done for it. It would have taken Kaku a hundred years to even begin to imagine his love looking like this. But the surprise was a good thing, because looking at Ru walk up the aisle look perfect in every way and looking like Kaku had never even seen before made the Angel King feel... honoured. Honoured to be able to realise how luck the Angel was at least. It wasn't until Ru whispered to Kaku that the Angel remembered to blink, covering his shocked look with a smile. "You love it really, though." Kaku muttered, probably too quiet for even Ru to hear. Kaku mirrored Rurushu as they links hands just before Mo, who gave Ru a friendly thumbs up before clearing his throat.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today for the joining of these two souls in eternal harmony and devotion. May you all please now take your seats. And before I begin, I have to ask if anyone here is against the joining from happening to please speak now." The purple Demon looked around almost challenging anyone to even dare say a word. Mo finally smiled. "Nope? Didn't think so. It has brought me great joy to commemorate the joining of these two. And I'm sure I speak for all when I say what is shared between the Angel and Demon before us is something to inspire us all... I will now ask for the vows." Mo glanced to Ru, "Rurushu, please state your vows."

Ru knew that none in the room would have anything against it, and if they did, Nanari would have realised before hand and threatened the living daylight out of them to make sure they never spoke up, so giving a huge smile to Kaku, not even bothering to glance around the room, wanting his full attention on his beloved, Ru gave a very quick glance to Mo before taking a breath and tightening his grip on Kaku. The Vows he created he hoped would be worthy of such a day. "Kakushin... I know most vows are to be promises on our lives together, but I have made many to you in our lives together so far, all in which I intend to keep more then anything. So, instead, I want to tell you exactly what you have done for me, exactly what you mean to me, and the light you brought into my life. So you know exactly how much I intend to keep my promises so far..." Taking another deep breath, Ru gave another huge smile to Kaku. "Before meeting you, I was a wreck, someone so intent on getting revenge that I was missing all the good things that were in my life... I was on the road to my own self destruction. But then all of a sudden you literally clashed into my life becoming my biggest rival, you and you alone being the only one able to foil my plans." Taking a quick chuckle, Ru continued. "You wormed your way into my life in more ways then one, and I knew I wouldn't be able to throw you out of it... And eventually we took it further, and you brought a light into my life that I was missing, my other half... Promises of never leaving and always protecting were made, and I know any promise I have ever made to you will be the easiest things to keep in this world, because my life wont exist without you by my side for eternity. And to make one solid promise to you here and now, I promise to keep you, and all of our family happy, now and always, and I will always be there whenever you need me." Squeezing his hands a little more, Ru resisted the urge to lean over and give Kaku a kiss just yet, knowing that the next time they do so, it would mean the start of their lives together, bonded for eternity. |

Kakushin didn't mind the order of their vows. He'd long since prepared his, and in a style that would no doubt influence Ikiru later, Kaku was prepared to improvise his own vows and alter them in the moment. Whatever Kaku said, it wouldn't compare to how Ru's vows made the Angel feel. Kaku didn't even need to think as he smiled over what was vowed to him, squeezing Ru's hands in return. Mo nodded his head to Rurushu once the Demon's piece was done. Looking like some proud, smug father over how well the Demon King had done, Mo finally looked to Kakushin. "Now, Kakushin, your vows if you please."
Kaku nodded his head to the purple Demon, before looking right at Ru.
"I remember once that I vowed that I'd help you gain your freedom. It was a promise once, amongst the many we both shared.
And despite all we'd been through, those promises remained. There was a time when I thought love was just some fantasy. A pointless hope not worth the risk to look for. And then I think of how quickly that all changed. I can't begin to list everything you've done for me
Rurushu, from the moment I'd met that headstrong Demon I saw a new side of life. And since then, life began to light up again. You helped me let go of the past and realise how wonderful the present was.
Throughout the years we've shared, I'm always thinking of ways I could possibly repay you for all of that. So I suppose one way I
can is make a vow right here and now." Kaku looked down to Ru's hands, holding them tighter in his before continuing.
"I vow... to remain stubborn. To refuse to ever give up on us, or to ever let you go. I vow to remain in a state of eternal gratitude,
always forgiving and always helping you, whether you accept that help or not. I vow that I will
forever refuse to leave your life, just as I plan on keeping you in mine, along with any we add to our family. And I vow that throughout anything our eternal lives might
bring us, there won't be one second where I don't love you." Kaku stated, nodding to Mo once he'd said his piece. Kakushin hoped it had come out right, a twist on the typical vow that Kaku knew fitted.
Mo cleared his throat.
"With the vows said, would the best men bring forward the two rings please." Ikiru skipped over to Ru's side to give him Kaku's ring, whilst the emotionless Hane gave Kaku Ru's ring. "I have seen many weddings in my long years," Mo announced, "but this certainly marks a new age above the ones I've witnessed before. From the moment I heard about you two joining together, I just knew what it would represent, beyond just an inspiration love for one another. Your love represents the bond between light and dark, peace and chaos, and I as well as my good friend Tenshi do not have to think twice when we say you will both lead our races into a proud future, one shared together." Kaku smiled to the old King. "As you now place the ring on each others fingers, you are pledging to the beginning of your lives together, as one."
The Angel King didn't even hesitate after the word go, fitting the ring on Ru's finger with a soft smile on his face.
Mo himself was smiling, the perky little Demon waiting patiently for the pair to be ready again. "Well then, I am honoured to announce this as the beginning of your eternity together. I wish you all the best luck and purest of hope for your future. You may now kiss the bride."

Ru could feel himself tear up with every word Kaku said, but alongside that, he couldn't be any happier. Watching as Ikiru skipped over with the rings, Ru also wasted no time in placing the ring on the others finger, letting the tears fall as he did so, and gripping the others hands in a tight hold once it was fitted. Giving a very, almost non existent amused glance to Mo once he finished speaking, Ru was quick to brink Kaku into a long lasting kiss... He had gone without for too long, though, he had to admit, this kiss felt so much better then the others, knowing what it signified today. Not letting it end for a few moments, despite the mummers of 'get a room' he could hear, Ru pulled away first, despite how difficult it was to do, and rested his head on the others, "I love you so much Kaku..." Giving another quick kiss to the other, Ru turned his attention to Mo briefly. "Thank you..." Grabbing hold of Kaku's hand, Ru gestured down the aisle that he came from. "Shall we?"
