Akvan felt himself being relaxed simply by how this meeting was going. Inside, his stomach was still in pain, the knots of the injury, and his own nervousness, playing on his sickly feeling. But, in his heart Akvan felt tension being removed. And without force at all, Akvan was able to smile a little more brightly. "Good! Umm... Good. I-I'm so glad it worked." Akvan once had a lingering thought that perhaps the closeness of Oblivia and Light Shadow magic meant that they were the same. But where the red mist took apart someone's soul to break them, Akvan's light mist put souls back together again, or at least that was how it seemed now. He flinched slightly at that kiss, knowing every kind gesture like that from Chester would get the same, disbelieving reaction. Akvan looked a little pale still, and tired, but he was fine, or at least felt so. After all of today, Akvan's heart hadn't been so strong. He didn't dare move his injured finger, but looked down at it. "I suppose I'm tired, b-but I've been tired for near three w-weeks. My magic is still... s-stubborn. Even before the T-tower happened, I couldn't use it p-properly. But that's all, n-nothing of much of concern." Akvan stated. He was sure Nanari was aware of how Akvan was, otherwise she'd have sent her army of friends and family to track the Sun Child down already. Akvan blinked as Chester said her next bit. His good hand wrapped a little tighter around hers, slowly stroking it as Akvan shook his head. "You shouldn't need t-to regret it... I d-did deserve all of those things. I-If anything, it is a r-reminder to me to never do it again, r-right?"

Chester gave Akvan a small smile, glad to see him pick up a bit. But knew using that magic must have taken more out of him then either realised, considering he was still recovering. "I don't care how much concern it is... I'm still worried, I've seen what over using magic can do, and its not pretty..." Chester wanted to usher him to Nanari's so he could get some rest, but even Chester knew he would refuse that for as long as possible, instead she kept in mind to check how Akvan was doing for now, and voice that opinion if he got worse. Looking down to her hand as Akvan's tightened around it, Chester gave a sad smile. "I do regret it now though, after what you did to help and everything... Like I said though, at the time I didn't. But I guess your right, I just, promise I wont do so again... New leaf right?" Chester wanted things to be completely anew, so getting all this off her chest now, would help her achieve that want, as it wont be constricting her head or heart in the future. "Oh and I forgot to ask, how the new legs working out? Besides your little dance earlier."

Akvan knew Chester would mention something, any amount of pain or weakness Akvan was still under would bring concern from those who cared enough. He nodded his head slowly, "I-I know you are... and that makes me want to b-behave. I won't push m-myself, or use much magic beyond my limit until the issue i-is fixed." Akvan replied. Maybe his magic was as in as much shambles as Chester's was. But Akvan couldn't find a reason for his not to work. At first he thought it might be emotional based, though after fixing things here with Chester, Akvan's powers still fought against him when used. He couldn't help but be concerned about it himself. "I may need to v-visit that place finally." Akvan muttered to himself. Now that Dranar was free to enter again, Akvan might just need to find his Sun Tear, see if the crystal part of him was still around, and perhaps if he could contact the Sun Goddess from there. But it would be a mission for another day, once Akvan was ready, and could even get there in the first place. Akvan smiled a bit more, "New leaf, f-for the both of us." He agreed, feeling so happy to even be saying something like that. He glanced down to his feet. "They're... different. Hard to walk on, b-but I can only hope it gets e-easier with time." Akvan glanced around, "Perhaps w-walking in Rycora wasn't the best, considering the obstacles... b-but I like this place, holds a lot of... m-memories."

It was enough for Chester just knowing Akvan would try, so she was willing to drop the subject for now at least. She really didn't want him hurting himself for her sake, she knew that pain once, she refused to let it happen again. Chester wondered where this place was, but refrained from asking, Akvan would tell her in his own time, and they were probably better off talking in a better place then the Rycora forest. But the idea of a new leaf was good, and made Chester a little warm inside, maybe this time she could make things right, and not be controlled by factors out of her hands. "For the both of us... Starting now." It really was time to let things be right again. Chester glanced around alongside Akvan, giving a small smile. "Albeit the memories aren't all good, but they are the reason we are here now, as we are... I'm still trying to work out if I love or hate this place, love for the good memories, and hate... Well you know why. And this probably was the worst place to have a walk about... If you fell and couldn't get up, no one would probably be able to find yah."

Akvan would explain in time where he meant. But he himself hadn't visited that chamber since he was given his own body so many years ago. If it was still intact, and what Akvan would find when searching there, he himself didn't know. But he was happy to share about it, once he'd found time to go, perhaps even Chester could go with him, if she was still desiring to learn more about the Sun Child's new existence. Akvan could only hope he could find some answers from talking directly to his mother, as to why his magic was playing up, and how to go about getting rid of a problem that was still lurking around. Perhaps it added to Akvan's pale and sickly appearance, but now more than ever before, Akvan could sense Shinda around. No as in, right there in Rycora with them, but skulking around in the air, moving as an evil spirit and waiting for his chance to try again at taking this world. And he'd be heading straight for Akvan, when the chance to strike back came to him, Shinda would never pass up the chance to fight his former body-sharer once their powers were on par with one another. Akvan nodded. Yes, Rycora was the host for almost every memory that Akvan held most vividly. Meeting Chester, falling for her. Then... letting go of control as the Pandemic was caused by Akvan's weakness. "I try not to focus on the details... w-whilst I will always r-remember what happened here... I also l-like Rycora for another thing. It's just so... p-peaceful, so untouched. And m-maybe no one would be able to find me, b-but part of that fact i-is why I like to come here, to not b-be found... a-at least, not by a majority." Akvan wasn't saying he didn't like company, although he'd admit he was a lot more comfortable around people when they couldn't recognise his face as Flood, but he did like having a place to go where only a select few would find him, where for the most of time he could relax and think. "B-besides..." Akvan smiled, "W-we managed to f-find a sword in this forest once, r-remember, so it can't be that hard."

Chester could understand where Akvan was coming from, even she often travelled to Rycora when wanting to get away, Ru being the only one able to find her, as she stayed in her old home. It really was peaceful, and did allow for you to get away from the reality that they were living, even if they had to return. "I get what you mean, Rycora definitely is the most peaceful place, especially when you know the best areas. But its also the most active place, the life here that goes undetected... Its soothing to watch." Chester couldn't count the amount of times she hung around Rycora just to watch the wildlife, and spy on the wolves that roamed the woods. "That we did, after getting me unstuck from webbing." Chester gave a light chuckle thinking about back then, "and it is difficult... You were hanging with someone who knows the forest like the back of her hand."

Akvan looked up to the cover of the trees. "Life is something I-I've come to appreciate, in all forms." Akvan's eyes moved slightly, dilating as he looked around in his colourful vision. "I w-wish, one day, I can show you w-what looking at the c-colours of souls looks like. I-in cities, I see a s-sea of colour, different souls, d-different emotions from the happiest to the more c-conflicted." Akvan explained. The way he could see the world in this colour was one thing Akvan was eternally grateful for. Not for being able to use it to sense others souls and do something from learning them, but just to look at the world in this way, in it's purest form. He sighed, "But... I look a-around a forest like this... and e-everything is the same colour. Every living thing i-in this forest holds no conflict or need to f-feel such things. They are t-truly at peace, a forest of pure gold souls." Akvan felt like he was going on, but it felt so good to simply... talk. A similar comfort Akvan had once known before, where he could confide in Chester all of his feelings willingly. "I-It may seem too hopeful of me... b-but one day, I hope I can make the e-entire world share souls of g-gold. E-even for a moment, w-where everyone can accept one another." Akvan added. He winced a little as he moved, feeling the need to get up, or else have his legs weaken and have no hope of doing so for at least a few hours. Struggling to the climb to his fake feet, Akvan eventually got there, offering to help Chester up, or else just fall over again. "A-and I'm sure the s-sword would have been f-forever lost without your help. I-it's a good comfort to know if I do g-get myself stuck in the forest somewhere, a-at least you could still find me." Akvan replied, slightly smiling.

Chester would love to be able to see the world in such colour, but at the same time, she liked the feeling of someone trusting her with their conflicts on their own. But the idea of an entirely gold world was too far fetched, not everyone can be happy at once, the thing to look to though, was making who you could happy, when you can. "That it far too hopeful Akvan, having the whole world with souls of gold, someone will always be against someone. What you should look into, is helping who you can and when you can. Make the people who need it the most, truly happy, rather then focusing on making the whole world content." It was a large dream to make everyone happy, especially those who were too far gone. But it was a charming dream non the less, and Chester did wish Akvan could achieve such a thing, if even for a moment. Chester kept an eye on Akvan as he got up, accepting his offer but making sure she herself put most effort into getting up. Smiling slightly, Chester chuckled. "You have far too much faith in me, if you did get lost, I cannot assure you I would find you, Rycora is a large place, a lot of ground to cover, under the protection of trees... By the time someone finds you, it could already be too late."

He chuckled. True, dreaming that an entire world with three different races fighting for survival was a tough place to try and create peace, but it was something Akvan strived towards. After all, if he didn't believe in trying to save this world, and everyone who shared it, then his purpose might flow back towards the original one, and the Sun Child never wanted to follow that path. He sighed, "I know my d-dream is impossible. I've been t-trying to help for seventeen years, w-whilst there is s-some change from it, the world is s-still facing conflict..." Akvan looked up, "But to have the w-whole world s-show a sign of t-trust, and of peace... i-if only for a second, i-it might just be e-enough to convince t-the Sun Goddess to s-spare this world." Akvan still feared every moment when he knew this world was still not perfect, or at least by the Goddess' standards. He didn't know if in his entire life that Akvan could even make it any better, but he didn't want to give up. Because giving up would mean giving into his blood instinct, something Akvan struggled daily to avoid falling towards. Akvan couldn't listen to the negativity from Chester, she was absolutely true, but right now it only made Akvan chuckle. "O-over my lifetime, i-it's become c-clear that finding someone in t-this forest isn't as hard a-as you'd think." Akvan smiled slightly, swaying back and forth as his body tried to find balance on his legs, "A-and of course I have f-faith in you, i-if that's alright."

Chester really did wish full peace was something achievable, but she knew it would not be so, not ever. But with what Akvan said next, really made Chester wonder. "What do you mean by convincing the Sun Goddess to spare this world?" Chester could only guess that this was something only Akvan knew about, something shown to him to allow him to live now, but she, alongside everyone else had always worshipped the sun goddess, true some more then others. So, if she was a saviour, why would Akvan have to convince their worlds survival? Looking over to Akvan as he chuckle, brought a small smile to her face as Chester helped to steady him. "Trust me, its only easy if its in places you already know. Find yourself stranded randomly, and the wolves most likely have a new dinner item on the menu... But I guess its okay to have some faith in me, just not too much." Making sure she had a tight grip on Akvan so he didn't fall over, Chester gave a chuckle. "You have to remember, I grew up in the forest... Only ever travelled outside it on about five or six times."

It wasn't the Sun Child's intention to 'rat out' his mother on her previous plans. To be honest, Akvan almost feared them. He'd never told anyone else before, not even Nanari or the others. Because he'd not wanted them to lose faith in the Sun Goddess, someone who everyone should view with a high respect. Why? Because Akvan knew the truth, and if telling the world about her true nature made them stop worshipping the Sun, then she might just do the opposite to what Akvan desired. It was like a blackmail, but from a deity. Maybe Akvan had let it slip today, but he did promise to never lie to Chester again, so he didn't dwell on feeling bad for telling her for long. Akvan looked down awkwardly. "W-well... m-my original purpose w-was to destroy. Time has changed s-since then, but s-she... the Sun Goddess cannot f-forgive so easily, until I s-show her enough proof." Akvan didn't add to it, feeling like he might just tear down some of Chester's faith if he did. Akvan looked around a bit, glad to have Chester's support, and felt reassured of getting home without falling over at least. "There's n-not much meat l-left on me, if wolves w-want to chase me d-down, it might n-not be worth their time." Akvan joked, he could always throw a leg and hope they'd chase that instead, if ever the danger arose.

Chester knew she would find out more in time, she was just grateful that Akvan told her. Taking his face into her hands, Chester lifted his face a bit. "Thanks for telling, I wont tell anyone else. Promise." Taking a small breath, Chester smiled over to Akvan. "And proof we shall give her... You may not be able to change the world altogether. But we can show her humans can adapt and be the best they can be..." Chester knew perfection would never be achieved, but that didn't mean she couldn't help those she could. Giving a slight chuckle, Chester began to help Akvan move a little, gripping onto him tight. "The wolves will take anything they can get. I cant count the amount of times they've tried to get me... Hell one night of being chased caused me to meet a very exuberant Demon by the name of Gensho..." But really, the wolves in this forest had no mercy, it was both good and bad for the residents living within, too much danger, but plenty of chances for meat and furs and medicines for those practicing those kind of arts.

Akvan smiled slightly, taking in the warmth of the hands near him. "D-don't think any less of h-her... I-I'm sure the Sun Goddess has h-her reasons a-and can be trusted." Akvan added, though he didn't feel all that confident in his reply. Did he really believe in her now? Or was Akvan's faith in his mother in the sky simply based on a child to parent level. Akvan could only hope, and remain faithful and positive, like Flood had been according to the Sun Goddess. Akvan's smile only deepened. It seemed like Chester really was beginning to change back to the one Akvan knew and cared so much for that it hurt. There was still so much hope in there, a hope that even as Flood, Akvan had managed to see in her. Akvan began walking with Chester's support by his side, thinking now would be a good time to get back before Nanari sent out a whole clan to look for Akvan. The Sun child frowned a bit. "I d-don't think Gensho e-ever mentioned how he'd met y-you, one day he just c-came up to me making so many w-weird noises. W-whispering to Onrah behind m-my back, then they w-wouldn't leave me alone w-without asking me more a-about you." Akvan could be almost grateful for Rycora wolves in this case. If they'd not forced Chester into meeting Gensho, then perhaps Gensho wouldn't have learnt about Akvan and Chester's blooming relationship, and Akvan may never have even considered how he'd felt without his brother's teasing as well as Chester's ongoing kindness.

Chester wasn't going to lie, she did think less of the Sun Goddess, but she also had understanding for it all. "I do a little, but only as I don't know her true intentions, so I wont judge or try to do anything about those plans beside help you to prove it to her..." Chester knew lying about her feeling would be no good, so she hoped Akvan would be fine with her honesty in this... It wasn't like she hated the Sun Goddess, she just couldn't wrap her head around what her true intentions may be. Chester chuckled as she thought back to everything that happened that night, trying to got into words the best way to describe it. "It was a strange meeting... Climbed up a tree, and Gensho was standing there... I mean, out of all the trees, and all the people for it to be... Anyways, and after introductions the first thing he mentioned what that you spoke about me... I reprimanded him for throwing your sword away... And then we spoke about you again..." Thinking back now, it was quite an emotional conversation the two had, but then again, it was pleasant. "But I have always wondered exactly what you said about me, before then and after..." Giving Akvan a look, Chester chuckled. It was an untold mystery, even if Gensho did tell her a little.

"Thank y-you." Akvan replied simply. It was nice to at least tell someone the biggest secret Akvan had, which Akvan actually had a solid, understandable reason for hiding from others. And he knew Chester was honest when she said the news wouldn't reach anyone else's ears. Because Akvan feared what kind of revolt there would be from every corner of the world if those who worshipped the Sun Goddess realized she'd lost faith in them. Akvan was glad they could move the conversation on to Gensho and the first meeting everyone had back then. Sighing as he couldn't quite pinpoint how things were told, Akvan eventually remembered a few details. "Uhhh... W-well. I r-remember coming back to two hungover Demons with m-my sword retrieved at last, a-all they could ask was where I'd been. As soon as I-I'd mention seeing someone, t-they suddenly recovered. At first I w-was giving anything away... b-because I had this f-fear that Onrah might find the t-time to hunt you down or s-something." Akvan told, feeling fond over the memories of his brothers. "A-after you met with him... Gensho a-and Onrah both started asking me more q-questions. L-like how I felt about you... a-and I think they became a-almost obsessed with asking m-me about it."
