Name: Art Senshi
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Job: Doing the king's bidding.
Rank: 5 Stars
Appearance: Art is well known for his typical, Iwa Clan look. Golden hair and eyes make up his face, and each ear is pierced with two small golden rings attached. Art is an average size for his age, perhaps slightly smaller, he looks to be rather scrawny when in fact his body's strength is hidden by his thick choice of clothing. Across his waist, Art carries a small knife, that when revealed, seems to shimmer with a golden glow to it. Everything about Art would suggest a trustworthy soul, capable of doing great things and helping others. Around his neck is a red piece of rope. It's origin is unknown, but Art never takes it off, and never tells anyone why, much like the rest of his clan.
Personality: When not working, or around his family, Art is a friendly boy. Willing to help out in anything, Art takes it as his duty to help his younger siblings when they struggle on through current life in Iwa. He runs around with a smile on his face, longing to help and make life easier for others. But once he is called upon his duties, Art changes. He becomes quiet, a mute boy with a solemn face that seems to loath himself constantly. He becomes fearful of everything, looking around as if everything around him is burning into nothing. He does his job, no matter what, because he loves his family more preventing his soul from being drowned in sins. When appearing before others, Art always puts on a brave face, helping them unless his job requires otherwise, and pretends his life isn't what it is.
Likes: His clan, his younger siblings, his father, silence, laughter, seeing others smile.
Dislikes: The red rope, the sword, his job, his 'boss', Demons, killing.
Weapons: Art's skills at the clan's earth magic is at the top of its game. He isn't the strongest magic user in the clan, but he cannot improve any further. Art used to prefer fighting with short swords in a fencing style. But after receiving his current weapon from his master, Art finds the skill more and more sickening every day.
Magic: Earth Magic: Iwa Earth: Complex control of earth and stone, Art can levitate rocks of a medium size to float around him. He cannot shape the stone as well as others, but Art's speed of moving the floating pieces of earth is currently the fastest in the clan.
History: From the weeks after the Pandemic, a partially broken Iwa clan began to lay down it's roots once more. Maraz Senshi, the current leader of the clan, had to build his entire clan up from the earth. It didn't take too long, the clan still kept most of its wealth from before the sickness outbreak, and they received help from an unlikely source. Around a month after the Pandemic, a lone Demon came down, offering to Maraz a deal. He would help the Iwa clan rebuild itself and flourish, if in return, Maraz gave the man a piece of rope. The Iwa clan hated Demons with the passion of an earthquake, but in their shaken state, they could not refuse the offer. And so, their new Demon ally summoned his own helpers, a small army of Dragons. Using their magic and brawn, the Dragons assisted Iwa in the rebuilding of their home. Once it had been completed, a year later, Maraz gathered the entire clan together to celebrate, giving thanks to their Demon friend for his help. The Demon graciously accepted the praise, and offered his friends in the clan a gift. From the long piece of rope given to him so long ago, the Demon had cut them into shorter pieces, and painted them red. He claimed it was a Demonic symbol of friendship, and during the celebrations, the Iwa clan members wore them to show their new friendship. However, they were all made painfully aware of what kind of 'alliance' they were getting into.
During the night of partying, the Demon was watching over Maraz and his new family. His wife and half a year old son, Art. They smiled and spoke about life, before the Demon calmly requested that Maraz stab his wife through the heart. Maraz believed it was some Demonic joke, but as he refused the request, the rope around his neck tightened, and it sent a shock-wave of pain that forced the clan leader's throat to close. Grasping at the rope, Maraz found that he couldn't remove it. His body went through a world of pain, before his mind seemed to melt, and the clan leader was nothing but a choking mess under the Demons feet. Smirking, the Demon finally offered his real name to the Human. He was Exitium, God of Destruction, murderer of Maraz's older brother Mizetto, and current King of the Demon race. Suffering at his feet, Exitium pulled the man up, gesturing to his neck rope. He then explained it was a nasty piece of equipment, that send an electric shock into the host's neck to choke them, every time they refused to do as Exitium asked, or tried to remove it. The ropes had been fashioned by Mujihi, Goddess of Pain, who under Exitium's order enchanted the ropes for his use. Realising his position, Maraz sunk to the floor, panting as the pain stopped to let him breath. Exitium laughed, dragging the leader to present in front of the rest of the clan. Confused, Exitium smirked, before asking them all to kill themselves. Obviously, no one did so, and in return, the entire clan was shocked into suffocation, collapsing to the floor in heaps. Once they'd slowly recovered, Exitium laughed over their weak bodies, announcing that the Iwa Clan was now his to use, and the Humans in it were his slaves. The clan was outraged to be enslaved so easily, but those who resisted the most could not defend themselves from the restriction of the red ropes as Exitium dismantled them slowly in front of everyone else. He also killed Maraz's wife himself, to the clan leader's despair. He then noticed the young baby left motherless next to the pile of meat and blood, and ordered his new slaves to tie a rope around the boy's neck as well.
From the age of six months, Art was made a slave to the Demon King. He has never known life beyond the red ropes that now defined his clan. He hates Demons more than anything, only seeing the worst of them, and getting all of his beliefs about their overall nature by Exitium. Art was able to grow in his clan, but as soon as he could walk, Exitium was forcing him into work and labour a young boy his age should never have to deal with. Where some would get stronger from it, this situation could offer no mental adaptation. The daily suffering of the clan forced everyone into anxiety and fear. The clan fought amongst themselves, and those who rebelled were killed by Torto, Exitium's earth Dragon that he'd left in charge of punishment in the clan when away. She was a tough Dragon, who actually didn't like it when the clan rebelled for more than one reason. She didn't like killing, and treated those in the clan that didn't rebel against their lowly fates with a motherly kindness. She was the only one from the house of Exitium that didn't reek of evil, even though Torto was basically an executioner. Art was the first and only child at the time of enslavement, so he is the oldest of the Iwa family. The other children he treats like brothers and sisters, and is pained to see the red rope around their necks as well. Art serves as the strongest and most used asset of Exitium's, doing most assassination jobs with the help of his Sun tear weapon, Durendal. He hopes one day, he himself will be able to work for the entire clan, so that the others would be able to live a life without worrying when the rope tied around their necks and lives would stop punishing them.
Free Item: Magic Enchantment: Durendal, Knife of Death: A sword used in ancient Demon history when they were at war against Angels. Exitium found the sword in Dranar, and discovered that it held the power of a Sun tear that had been destroyed and harvested during the war to be used against Angels. The original purpose was to cause a wound on an opponent that could never heal. However, infusing his own Death magic into it, Exitium made it so that the knife would kill anyone cut by it, by any size of wound. Art was given the knife to use on his jobs, and because of it's side effect, Exitium didn't want to dirty his hands with it. The knife kills whoever it cuts, but the users life force is significantly reduced. Every kill knocks around five years off of Art's life.
