Note: A few months before current timeline, Zuura is happy in his clan, now big enough to accept new people. Plotting against the rule of Exitium, Zuura and Flood have been gathering forces from others who oppose him, as well as safeguarding those he is desperately trying to 'recruit' himself.
Zuura hummed, sitting in the master's hut at the edge of the clan, drawing doodles on a piece of paper. He'd had a lot of time recently, and decided to fill it by catching up on some work. Bills and silly things like that, starting them and then realising that he couldn't write, and so had given up in favour of drawing out stories instead. He smiled as he admired his work, placing a pencil in his mouth to take a moments thought. The Mun Clan was ever so busy recently. After many years, Flood had climbed himself to the top of the clan, being Zuura's second hand. After all, his hard work meant that Zuura's dream clan was almost twice as big as he'd imagined it to be. Mun was finally a name recognised by everyone, and well respected. And Zuura had a whole bunch of new friends, all coming to escape the terrors of everyday life now insured by the evil Demon King. If Zuura had the capacity to hate anyone, then he hated Exitium. The man killed a lot, and most of the time it was Mun Clan members trying to help others around Sohul. And so Zuura was all for fighting the big meanie, so long as Flood was willing to lend a hand, and find them a lot of back up. Zuura thought over the newest members. Some Demons, even an Angel or two. The leader couldn't quite remember all the names, but they'd looked powerful enough. Sighing, Zuura looked to his work, before getting up. Perhaps he'd take a break from the exhausting doodling session, get some fresh air and play tag with the clan kids.
Reaching the door, Zuura stopped, pressing his head against it. There was someone outside, right up close to his door and ready to knock. "I know you're in there..." Zuura called through the door, "Better come out, no hiding from clan leader, Mun rules!" The Clan leader giggled, not knowing that his statement made no sense, since he was the one inside, and they were outside. Finally, the strange man opened his door, smiling at the two youngsters giving him weird looks. Zuura hummed, a hand on his chin. "Ohohoho, I know you two.... Um... Ari, aaaaaand Mizeeto right?" Zuura guessed, remembering these two were recent, Flood bringing them along after fearing about what Exitium had planned, especially for one of them. "Can I help you kiddies?"

Exitium had gotten on Ari's last nerves, so when she and Mizetto found out about a group planning a rebellion against him, the two were quick to jump in and join. They hadn't joined for long, but Ari loved it there, she even managed to convince Takeo to help out, though due to his in capability to fly, he didn't visit base often, but that didn't bother Ari too much, her father seemed to understand the plan being made from just one look she gave him. Looking over to Mizetto, Ari smiled, they had been together for a long period of time, both as friends and as lovers, and each day Ari fell for him more and more, just as the jokes and teasing increased. She still chuckled over the fact that she was taller. But that teasing was put on hold at the moment, Ari being ill and not finding the strength most days to really argue, hell, she just let the Demon drag her to where ever they needed to be because of it. Upon reaching the door, Ari laughed at the leaders antics, having being somewhat use to his enthusiastic personality by now. Though, she did almost fall to the floor in tears at his belief of Mizetto's name. "Mizeeto! Awh, man that's going to follow you forever midget..." Wiping the tears from her eyes, Ari gave a kiss to his cheek, before addressing Zuura. "We were around, so decided to pop by before next proper meet up." Smiling to Zuura, Ari took a moment to close her eyes and fight off the incoming nausea she had been feeling for the last couple of weeks.

It had been so many years into Exitium's pestering that Mizetto felt it came naturally with life. The only thing stopping him from simply paying no attention to the pestering was that Ari was getting involved. The Demon was perfectly fine with his King annoying him, but not Ari. And being offered both a place to stay, as well as a chance to bring hell to the evil King, Mizetto and Ari took it without hesitation. Mizetto was already at the top of his game, and one of Exitium's minions even called him 'strongest earth mover' at one point, whatever they needed that fact for. So what better way to put his strength to the test than to crush Exitium's smug little face. The Mun clan probably wasn't the first place Mizetto would be looking to stay, but he went where Ari went. Every since they got together, a few months or so later, and Mizetto had practically moved in with her, more than before when invading hers and Takeo's house. Clue was around as well, and was a welcome addition to Zuura's younger side of the clan family. Ever at Ari's side, Mizetto didn't think he could more in love with her, and had changed ever so slightly because of it. He still remained ego-full as ever, but it was like his ego wrapped around the both of them. Teasing was all well and fine, but anyone calling Mizetto's woman weak or anything but perfect got a fist of stone in the gut. And so, when Ari got sick at random points, Mizetto was desperate to find a cause. The worst fear was that it would be like seventeen years ago, during the infamous Pandemic period, but Mizetto wanted to know what was going on, if and before it got to that stage. They got to Zuura's door, the clan leader as eccentric as ever with his weird giggle and muck up of Mizetto's name. The Demon smiled politely, resisting the urge to cause a clan-wide earthquake with his inner rage. "Thanks for that Zuura, now she has another name to call me." Mizetto muttered, although smiled at Ari's reaction. Whatever kept her happy, especially when sickness kept kicking in, like now. Mizetto took a hold of her hand, looking to Zuura. "Yeah, we thought we'd see how Zuura was holdin' up in all the chaos... and somethin' else." Mizetto glanced to Ari, "Ari's been gettin' sick lately, is that a problem?" Mizetto knew Ari would hate to be kicking into rest because of it, and although the Mun clan didn't have restriction zones for the sick like everywhere else nowadays, it was still a concern for the clan leader to consider.

Zuura smiled pleasantly, not sure how he'd made Ari laugh so much, but was happy to accept that one of his clan children were enjoying themselves. The overall goal of the Mun clan, after all. He wasn't expecting a simple, friendly visit. Most of the time these days, it was either adults asking for work, Flood asking for reports- and receiving doodles in return- or kids looking for food. And the occasional woodland animal, but other than that, almost never friendly talks. Zuura looked to Mizetto, "Zuura is just fine." He replied, glancing back to his desk. "In fact, I was just taking a break from work, so I suppose you two can be that break... though not literally... whilst I like breaking things, I don't think breaking you two would be as nice... too squishy." The clan leader was already quietly assessing Ari as Mizetto spoke, looking her up and down, almost slapping her forehead with his hand to check temperature. Zuura hummed, "Sickness isn't a problem, unless it is the yucky kind, like rashes or throwing up... but the clan doesn't have rules against it, so long as the person sick things they can fight alright. But I'd be pretty awful mad if they got themselves hurt trying to fight when they can't." That fear hopefully aside for the two young adults, Zuura continued his examination, after all, it was rather interesting. Knelling down, and probably confusing a lot of people, Zuura placed his head on Ari's stomach, like he'd done with the door. "Heart is still dancing, that's good... hmmm... does it hurt when I do this?" Zuura asked, then poking Ari in the stomach.

Ari chuckled slightly knowing Mizetto well enough by now to know he was keeping in rage from the mix up, though the chuckle escalated into another laugh at his response. But the laugh changed to a smile when he grabbed her hand, it wasn't often Mizetto did things like that, and each time was a pleasant surprize, leaning her head on his shoulder, squeezing his and growling slightly when he mentioned her getting ill. Before she could complain to him, Zuura spoke up, the concern from their leader helped to calm her anger, but that didn't mean she didn't jab her elbow into Mizetto's side because of it. "Im fine, just sick in the mornings that follow me for the rest of the day, making me feel a little weak... I'll be fine, as always." Addressing the last part to Mizetto, Ari knew that he was worrying for her a little, as was her father, because she had yet to show any signs of getting better. Freezing slightly when Zuura leaned down to her stomach, Ari just let it happen, use to his helpful antics by now. Groaning in slight discomfort when he jabbed her stomach, Ari wasn't too prideful to admit that she shied away from the touch. "Not hurting exactly, but it was more discomforting..." Ari really had no idea what was wrong, and had always assumed that she was just sick... Something the Angel could easily put up with.

Mizetto knew how silent Ari was about being ill or hurt. It was her only fault, and had been pretty dangerous in the past. Hell, seventeen years ago her ignorance to the disease meant Mizetto almost punched her into death's sleep, or at least close to it. Mizetto still withheld his guilt for doing that, something he planned on taking to his grave if necessary. The Demon barely winced at the elbow strike, seven years of being close to her, Ari's hits were nothing to Mizetto now, he received them too often to take them for much. Though he did look her way, frowning. "You don't know that, it could always get worse, and what then? If we can sort it out, Ari, then the sooner the better right?" Mizetto said, feeling his tongue go sour. He was so concerned right now, far unlike the usual Mizetto. Simple injures on Ari were nothing, but sickness was something everyone feared nowadays, from the simplest cold to coma-inducing diseases. Holding back his own discomfort at Zuura poking around Ari's stomach, although knowing their strange clan leader would never mean anything by his actions, Mizetto listened. Any knowledge Zuura had would be worth hearing, since Mizetto couldn't help but feel like the clan leader was planning on getting somewhere with his 'inspection'.

Zuura poked some more, before moving away, sitting cross-legged and humming to himself. This really was weird, all of Ari symptoms were similar to something... un-Angelic. He held his head on his chin, staring at the girls stomach like reading an intense and complex formula. He did lift a thumbs-up towards Mizetto, though. "Mizeeto is right, no matter what, we don't just keep hush hush about sickies, the sooner I know, the sooner something can be done." Zuura commented, before rocking back on forth like a little kid. "Buuuuut... I don't know if something can be done about this kind of sickie... Hey Ari, care to answer some more quizzes from me?" Zuura asked, smiling politely. He looked up to the couple, "How are you eating? Finding anything you used to like becoming yucky to eat? Do you get tired often? Does your chest ever hurt?... When did you two last woohoo with each other?" Zuura asked rapidly, not hiding his childish smirk at the last one.

Ari never liked talking about when she was sick, it was never something she cared to do, feeling as if she could handle it on her own... It never happened often anyways, and she knew she could easily deal with a little sickness and feeling weaker for a short time, so she didn't really understand their concern. Taking a breath, Ari first looked to Mizetto. "Look, its just a little sickie, I can handle myself fine. I survived seventeen years ago... I can easily survive now." Ari hated bringing up that sour time, but she needed to get it in Mizetto's head that she could handle herself, no matter the circumstances. Squeezing Mizetto's hand once more in comfort, Ari now turned her attention to Zuura. "Its just a little sickie, but sure, I'll answer more questions." She felt a little overwhelmed at how many her fired at her, and almost choked on her own saliva at the last one, heating up just a little, Ari looked down and tried to decipher the answers to the questions asked. "Im eating fine, but the chicken I had the other day tasted a little funny, but I assumed it was because im ill. And, not tired, but my muscles ache a little more, and my chest, only a little, again, I assumed it was from me feeling weak..." Taking a breath for the last question, not understanding why it was asked, but knowing Zuura of all people wouldn't ask unless there was a reason, Ari slightly looked up, not meeting anyone's eyes. "Couple of weeks ago, before I got ill... Why ask?" Ari really had no idea what would be wrong with her, but she guessed when mentioning everything out in the open made her realise there was more wrong with her then she thought.

The fact that Angels didn't usually get sick, they were as immune to diseases as Demons were, unless a sickness was specifically made for them, meant that for one to get ill it wasn't good. Mizetto knew how Ari felt about before when she was ill, and knew how she'd once reacted when he brought it up once in a not so nice manner of speaking. He'd promised to never mention that time again to her, and thus far had kept true to it. Zuura was no qualified doctor, but unless an outside source was brought in, he was the clan's best in medical knowledge. The strange man knew a lot, for his presumed age and behaviour. Mizetto felt like, even though they'd only been a part of Mun for a few weeks at most, he and Ari could trust the guy to anything just like the rest of his clan did. The questions asked felt pretty specific, and Mizetto could see that Zuura was trying to get somewhere, only using the questions to back up his initial conclusion. The last one made Mizetto go a little red, a pretty damn strange question to ask a sick person. How long ago the pair messed around didn't seem like the kind of thing to connect to being ill, not in normal terms anyway. But the fact that something like that was asked, by Zuura of all people, made Mizetto more nervous than being asked that kind of question any other day.

Zuura's head bopped back and forth through Ari's answers, holding back a giggle at her answer to the last one, since he needed to respect her for how embarrassing it must have been to answer. He could see what things were gathering to, and these two love-birds should be glad they came to see Zuura of all people. Smiling reassuringly, Zuura slowly got to his feet. "I'd predict you'll be experiencing a lot more of that, I'm afraid Ari... lots more sickies to come. You'll probably start hating different foods, be tired all the time... and grow. If you wanna come inside you two, I'd like to show you something cool." Zuura announced, looking around for eavesdroppers before leading the Demon and Angel into his small house. Zuura wandered over to his desk after closing the door, sitting on the edge with his feet swinging. "You know that when Humans die, they go and become sky babies, right?" Zuura began telling his little tale, one he'd saved up for a while without ever thinking of telling to anyone else until now, "Well that was because Sunny in the sky wanted to help Demons and Angels, because they couldn't make their own babies anymore. For a long time, people were happy with sky babies being made that way, but they didn't ever think about something else." Zuura paused, almost nervous for a moment, before finally coming to his conclusion. Someone should know his next bit, and these two seemed reliable enough, plus for reasons, they deserved to know. So, Zuura commanded his Dark magic, revealing pitch black, feathered wings on his back. A long black tail appeared, ending with black feathers at the tip, and Zuura's wrists were covered in a ring of similar feathers, whilst his hands became thicker skinned and clawed. The change was instant, but it was one Zuura had not used in a very long time. He let the transformation sink in a bit, before smiling, raising a finger to his lips. "Shhh... no one knows about this, 'kay?" Zuura winked, before getting up, almost feeling lighter now that his wings weren't hidden anymore. "So, you're probably all muddled as to why I have Angels wings AND a tail right? And I can use Dark magic naturally, not learnt like other Humans. Well... that's because I'm not Human." A fact Zuura had kept hidden away for so long. Because it was rule that a clan must be run by Humans. Angels and Demons could join the family, but the leader MUST be Human. Zuura was no where near that title, but he'd kept it secret for so long, because what he was was so rare that he didn't think he'd fit in going and doing much else. Zuura sieved around notes piled under his desk, before bringing out one ruffled up piece of paper, that he'd ripped right out of a book in Baransu's library. Zuura held it up for the others to see, it was some sort of diagram of half an Angel, and half a Demon, combined into one body. "For a long time... I didn't know what I was, mummy and daddy were long dead, and I was all alone. I've been hiding who I am for a loooooooong time, only figuring out what I am from a book I borrowed...It was really old, and I can't read it well, but I liked the picture." Zuura tapped his finger at the image on the page, "This is a Naphalem, it's a half Demon, half Angel. Very rare, as they're almost impossible. In fact I'm the only living one right now." Zuura sighed, "Yano, I thought I was some special miracle thingy... but after talking to you two... I guess I won't be the only Naphalem going around." Zuura mumbled, almost solemnly, before grinning as he looked from Ari's stomach, to the two almost definitely confused young adults.

Ari was confused on how Zuura came up with a idea on her illness so quick. Though she had no understanding on what was actually wrong still, she groaned at the thought of being ill for a long time... She could deal with it, but not for long periods of time, that was something she couldn't do. There was nothing she could logically come up with for what was wrong from the description, and unless another pandemic happened, she doubted any other Angel would know. But giving a small smile to Zuura, Ari dragged along Mizetto as they entered, curious as to what Zuura had to show them all of a sudden. Ari listened to his tale, head leaning on Mizetto's shoulder, wondering exactly why they were being told this. But that curiosity was quickly diminished when Zuura, the human, Zuura, sprouted wings and a tail. Her eyes widened in somewhat shock, and she could feel herself opening and closing her mouth with an unasked question that she just couldn't say. How was that even possible. Nodding dumbly to show she wouldn't tell... No one would believe her even if she did mind you. Ari began listening in again, just nodding, still in shock. Her eyes widened even more at finding out he wasn't human, and was unable to place exactly what he was... Because this, this wasn't normal... Hadn't been heard of before. But Ari's confusion got bigger and bigger with every word spoken, and by the time he was finished speaking, Ari wasn't listening properly, the words heard but not sinking in, instead she held a hand on her stomach and looked at it dumbfounded, ignoring everything else around her.

Zuura's analysis was random, just as random as his questions. How could he know all of what was going to happen from a simple poke and a few questions. But Zuura was a pretty wise guy, who wasn't known for playing pranks on people, as much as his personality would suggest it. The thought of Ari being ill for a long time, with whatever sickness this was, also brought Mizetto down. Obviously he'd be around to support her through anything, but if this was going to get worse, then so would Ari's temper moments, and Mizetto could almost feel the pain he'd be inflicted already. Mizetto didn't know what to think of Zuura inviting them inside, and begin to tell them a story every Demon and Angel was told before they could properly speak. Mizetto didn't know where Zuura was thinking he was going with all of this, connecting somehow to Ari and 'something cool'. But then Mizetto saw exactly what the cool thing was. He thought for a moment Zuura would continue to transform, right into a crow, like his favourite animal. But the man stopped after the wings, tail and claws. "You half bird or something?" Mizetto muttered as Zuura began to explain some more. So Zuura wasn't Human, which of course was obvious after seeing this. There were other little changes that made Mizetto silently stare. Split-pupil eyes, a flash of fangs, all made Zuura certainly look the Demon part. But his wings certainly weren't in the limitations of Demon wings, in fact they were identical to a fully grown Angel's. Before Mizetto could add more to his quizzical state, Zuura showed them the piece of paper. Some sort of Demon-Angel hybrid, on an old piece of paper. It took a moment to sink into Mizetto, his golden eyes went from the paper, to Zuura, to the paper, to Zuura again, then quickly back down to the paper before then glancing to Ari. Mizetto's mouth was slowly hanging lower and lower, before he grabbed the piece of paper to stare at it closer. "You.... what you sayin'? Naph... Naphalems? The hell is that? But that kinda thing is impossible, there ain't no way..." Mizetto blubbered, pacing a little. This couldn't be right, there had never been a word of this kind of thing happening before. Mizetto almost felt like he was melting right now. "What you guessin' about? There isn't.... this can't... you gotta, just be part bird or something, I'm mean... A-angels can't get..." Mizetto had to stop his disjointed jabs for a second, looking to Ari as she was silent. This visit felt draining, all in an instant, when Zuura told them about it, Mizetto felt weak. In fact, he felt his eyes water up a bit. "Ari... you're not... a-are you?"

Zuura had imagined their reactions to be much less entertaining than this. Whilst Ari was rather quiet, listening to the yapping Mizetto almost made Zuura giggle. He didn't understand why they were freaking out, though perhaps it was just the shock of something so rare happening to them of all people. The man let Mizetto get everything off of his chest, before smiling and patting the small Demon's head. "Now, now... it's not as bad as you think. After all, you two get to be proper mama and papa, to a little muddled up kid that looks like you." Zuura tried to say to reassure them, not knowing that he was probably doing the opposite. Zuura flicked Mizetto's head with his tail, before going to sit down again. "Don't you worry, I'm the leading expert on Naphalems, and you're in my clan, so this should be a cake walk... hmmm... cake." Zuura looked at Ari, not knowing if he should feel sorry or happy for her, or if he himself felt happy or sad. After all, he wouldn't be the only one of his kind anymore, but that also made Zuura feel a little less special. Zuura leaned on his hand, letting the young couple have their moment to gather some more thoughts on this matter. "I'm almost certain Miss mama Angel has a bun in the oven, Mr papa Demon, all the things added up. Man, you guys are really lucky. It's kind obvious, 'cus I'm the only one, but for a Angel and a Demon to get knocked up, it's really really really rare... like super rare."

Ari ignored everything around her, trying to sort out the thoughts in her head. An Angel and a Demon conceiving just wasn't possible, in all the years they had existed there had never been such a case, and yet, with everything Zuura had shown and told them, Ari knew there was no other explanation for things. First her sudden sickness, that happened after the last time they did it. Second the strange taste of the chicken, and the weakness she felt, most probably cause she suddenly, and unknowingly was providing for two, even this early on. And third, the pain in her chest and stomach, again even this early on. Taking a shuddering breath, Ari attempted to decide whether or not she was happy with this or not. Not because it meant she was a bigger target then most, knowing this was something considered 'impossible' and I really not... Many, especially the bastard king, would love to use this child later on. But Ari was incredibly happy as well, never being able to have her own in her human life, and always longing a proper family in this one, under the belief she would never have her own blood child... And that obviously no longer was the case. Suddenly looking up, Ari felt tears pouring down her face, and she in that instant knew what option she was in. "Im going to be a mummy!"

Mizetto did eventually calm down from the shock, he was in just as much surprise as Ari, but was only more verbal about it. He felt a mixture of everything, and didn't really know how to define how he felt. Zuura's words weren't really taken in anymore, although they felt somewhat reassuring. All Mizetto was doing was staring at Ari, trying himself to come to a conclusion on how he felt. Mizetto had never been a family person, he'd spent his entire Demon life wandering around with a huge dog as his only friend, and he'd never even been told of his Human life. When he met Ari, he felt a sense of what family was like, and it honestly didn't sound bad. Falling in love with her years ago, Mizetto felt like it was a connection he'd never want to break. Having a place to belong in someone else's world, it felt beyond a privilege. To the entire world, this kind of news was some sort of miracle. The two races that had once been forced to live family-less lives, at least not by blood, for so long, could now hold a connection beyond just love and longing. And also to think of the connections this would make between Angels and Demons, something the conflicting sky people could finally have in common. But Mizetto couldn't give a single care to what this meant for the realms, he only cared for what it meant to Ari, and to himself. Seeing Ari cry, through what could only be seen as pure happiness, it kicked Mizetto's own tears into falling as well. He knew he couldn't be upset by this, hell, he and Ari were being given a gift that should be impossible or rare beyond possibility. It wasn't something Mizetto couldn't be happy for, especially seeing what it meant for Ari. The Demon took a deep breath, shuffling over to Ari to wrap himself around her. "Yeah, you are... we're, gonna be real parents, aren't we?" Hearing those kind of words, Mizetto wondered why he ever seemed upset about this. This was the perfect gift for a Demon and Angel to receive, an opportunity they probably never planned for, but one that would never be refused. "You sure you're ok 'bout this?" Mizetto asked, not that Ari really had a choice anymore if she wasn't, "Because I promise to do everything I can to help."
