Notes: Labari/Fable Is 17 at this time, three years before the 2nd plot is due to take place. She during this is mostly portrayed as her alias Fable.
Fable jumped down from Equus and brought her hood above her head more, hiding her face. "Equus, go hide someplace, I will find you once im out." Handing her beloved horse an apple, Fable began to climb to the roof of the building. She had word that a group of bandits were hiding out here after killing an elderly woman for her small cart of goods, they needed to pay, and Fable was just the one to do that. Sneaking across the roof, Fable melted into the shadows, so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. Making her way to the gap in the roof, she dropped a single nail into the room below to assure it was clear, but would gather at least a little attention from those within, before jumping down and sneaking to the wall, waiting until a bandit entered. Getting closer as the door opened, Fable took a plank of wood from the ground, and slammed it across the back of the bandits head, dragging the unconscious body into an empty cupboard in the room. Taking a good look at the mans face, Fable hovered her hand over his before taking up his look, her sure fire way to sneak around the warehouse without one picking her out. First she would get proof of what they did, and then she would find the leader, kill him, and the others scatter with their tails between their legs. Sneaking through the halls, making sure to keep little contact with the others, Fable kept a keen eye out for anything suspicious, until she noticed something out the ordinary, and resorted to hiding behind a nearby crate to better understand the intrusion.

Hada was bored of following her brothers plans for every mission, especially when it took Flood a good ten hours to draw out every option, and then another hour to pick the safest one where Hada was the least likely to get hurt. This time, he'd promised her that she could do it her way, and prove to him that Fairy could just as easily take care of herself than Flood. Today's mission was an easy one, simple bandits that Flood had picked out from rumours that were killing travellers to steal goods. Times were hard, whilst Flood usually let the everyday thief under his nose, murderers were not allowed to remain infesting his beloved world. Fairy didn't care, she just loved teaching bad people a lesson, and getting a good fight in. Reaching the warehouse, Hada eyed up the main door from behind their cover, before Flood forced her head down. "Remember, simple mission, no need to go charging in like a raging bull, right?" He whispered to her, quickly changing to his Eteru form. "We just need their leader, no killing, not unless things get serious." Hada tried pinching her brother on his nose, before smirking to him. "Yeah yeah, enough with the instructions, you promised me this mission was done MY way." Before Flood could reply, Hada was up and standing, commanding her Armour magic to appear, covering her in the golden armour. Flood went to stop her, but Fairy was already off. Heavy boots cracking the ground, Fairy charged right into the warehouse door, exactly like a 'raging bull'. Feeling no need for the door, Fairy went right through it, like a hot knife through butter in her magic armour, letting the wooden wall crumble into a large gaping hole around her. Flood had yet to follow, but Fairy wasn't waiting for things to settle. She'd crashed into the largest room of the warehouse, with a few bandits scattered around with their bodies still in shock, but no doubt anyone else in the other rooms of the building also heard and felt the intrusion, just as Fairy planned. One bandit was on the ground before Fairy, clearly knocked back when the girl had charged in. "You! Take me to your boss-man-guy-leader, no questions!"

Flood felt like he'd been doing these mediocre missions forever, but he knew he would never be able to live with himself if he stepped up the game and introduced Hada to some 'real' missions. They both wanted to change the world, as far as Flood knew anyway, but until he was certain Hada could handle herself, he'd take her on real jobs. It wasn't like the girl needed much more training in terms of fighting, any magic energy she couldn't summon herself, the Sun Goddess gave to her under the request of Flood. But it was her style; Hada never thought about she did before doing it, claiming that for too long in her life before Flood that she'd done nothing but follow orders to their exact requirements. Hada needed to calm down before Flood could think of taking her on missions that required at least part of a brain to complete. And the girl never listened to her older brother, even though they'd grown close in the past decade, so she needed to find her brain on her own. Sighing as Hada once again ignored everything Flood instructed, he got up to trail after her slowly, knowing she could handle anything and everything in that room. Flood could sense all magic in the warehouse, nothing appearing more than trivial in level. But, Flood focused. There was one source, a lot stronger than the others. He flinched. The bandit leader probably needed a lot of power for that title, even though the source of power might not be his, it still made Flood nervous. He turned into white fog, flooding into the room, reaching to the furthest corner before coming back together, knocking out one guard who'd prepared to fire a hand gun at the massive target that was Hada. Sighing, Flood let his little sister continue her quote 'interrogation', instead keeping his senses open for this strong source of power, ready to defend Hada if it got close.

Fable growled a little as her plan was interrupted by these loud and unorganised intruders. It would be no lie that the leader was now known to their presence, and would be making a run this very second... She knew this warehouse was used precisely for its many escape routes. Leaning back against the wall, Fable knew she wouldn't be able to do this mission with just the death of the leader, now that the Bandits knew that people were here. Watching for a second, Fable groaned in aggravation once more, before grabbing her bow, drawing it, and aiming at one of the bandits about to shoot they who intruded friend, before firing and taking the target down. Moving so that the next one was aimed at two who were just coming out of their shock and trying to draw their weapon, she fired and landed a hit right through their legs, arrow joining the two together. Fable knew others were coming at the slight sound of footsteps from an adjoining corridor, and just as one was about to fire, Fable rolled out the way towards the main door. She would have n choice but to help the other two, if they were to make it out of this unscathed.

Fairy thought that her plan was perfect. This way, she could fight everyone in the building, and not just a few during the escape or when trying to find their target. Chuckling as the man she was interrogating refused to speak, and tried to stab his knife into her hand, only for it to bend against the magic armour, Fairy eventually gave up on asking for directions. Instead, she'd just knock out every bandit here until one posed enough of a challenge to be assumed as the boss. Or she could ask Flood, since he was unnaturally good at telling who other people were. But her brother was probably mad right now, since Fairy had taken this mission into her own hands. She'd need to keep doing it solo, or else her plan up to this point would have been for nothing. Holding the bandit a little higher, Fairy spun him around once, chucking him with magic enforced strength towards two of his buddies, knocking them all out like bowling pins. Fairy smiled, dodging as a bandit running across a second level to the main room shot magic at her. It was simple fire magic, and wouldn't dent her armour, so Fairy didn't even try to dodge anymore of his attacks, standing still and taking them, before blasting his shoulder with her own light magic. Four down already, plenty more than Flood, since her brother didn't even seem to be fighting yet. Hada was ready to move to another target further down the room, before noticing movement in the corner of her vision. Fairy summoned Joyeuse, pointing it towards the bandit rolling her way. "Care to join your buddies in their nap?" Fairy threatened, going to charge a light blast from the end of her sword.

Flood knew their mission was probably going to go to pot, it was only natural after Fairy's entrance. But he'd at least clear out the bandits, let the authorities take over. If the leader got away, so be it, he'd be alone, without a gang to help him. From there, Flood could work hard to locate him with magic, and finish the job, probably alone since he didn't know if after today that Fairy could handle more of this mission without messing up. Flood summoned a few ball of light shadow into the air, sending them after different thugs. On contact, the shadows turned into ropes, or smashed into the bandit's heads to knock them out. Either way, the room was being cleared. But Flood didn't take that for much, especially when he felt the source of the power he'd been feeling even closer. They were in this room, and so Flood imagined it was only a matter of time before they went to strike. He did notice, amongst the chaos, that there was someone else other than Flood and Fairy taking out bandits. Flood eyes up particular bandits that had been incapacitated by arrows, and watched one such arrow fly by, looking for it's owner. They looked like any other thug, but Flood was almost certain they were the powerful entity he'd been sensing. Though it seemed action would have to be taken soon, as Hada planned on fighting this person. Judging either side, if this 'bandit' chose to fight back, they'd be equal in strength, and lead into an un-necessary fight. Flood dashed towards the pair, halting in front of Fairy, and pushing her sword arm into the sky, blasting a hole into the roof rather than into their possible ally. "Fairy, don't!" He almost commanded, before his crescent-like eyes moved to the interesting new person. "You... you look like these thugs, but you're not here for the same reason as them, are you?"

Fable got ready to duck and get away, alongside drawing her bow, if this person dared to attack, she wouldn't be standing for long. But before anything could happen, the other got in their way, Fable was proud to admit that she didn't even flinch at the blast. Instead, kept the bow drawn and aimed at the others in case of another attack. Taking a long look at the other, calculating his motives, Fable finally sighed and turned herself back into her alias form. Ignoring his question however, Fable turned and looked towards the corridor, there was no doubt they wouldn't be able to catch the leader within, and they were now better off scouting the outside. "Whoever decided this way to attack was a good idea... Well they're an idiot." Pushing past the two, Fable got ready to scout the outside in search for the leader. The escape routes exit wont be far from the warehouse, and with both Equus and Fable looking they might just catch him. Putting away her bow, Fable made a mental note to restock on arrows, though she was a little annoyed at that fact.

Fairy felt like she was on a role with this job. Finish off this bandit, and that would clear out this room. After that, she could break through into some other rooms, until everyone was seeing stars, and Flood could then locate the boss for them. A fool-proof plan, and one Fairy thought was much more fun than the usual job Flood organised. She was just about to fire from Joyeuse, when her brother came over to force the magic into the roof instead. Fairy shot him an angry look through her helmet, believing that perhaps Flood was just looking to get the last hit and seem better than her. But no, apparently Flood had recognised this person as someone other than a bandit, and that uncanny instinct of her brother was proven yet again true as the bandit Fairy tried to attack turned into some strange girl. Fairy was awfully confused, and wondered whether this girl was some sort of bounty hunter, or wannabe hero looking to make a mark by taking out groups of bandits solo. Probably just in it for the money, as Fairy assumed, not like her and Flood, who were in this kind of business to protect people... or something like that. Fairy's head followed the 'attitude' girl as she went to pass between her and Flood. "Hey! I'll have you know my plan is perfect, unlike yours! Just what the hell do you plan on finding outside?" Fairy demanded.

Flood smiled, though not really visible in Eteru form, as this rouge girl changed back into her 'normal' look. It could well be yet another disguise, but at least it definitely distinguished her from the common bandits. He sighed, already at the same conclusion this other person had got to. If the boss was still around, he wouldn't have stayed in the building, the crash caused by Fairy could well bring the structure down, so any idiot with common sense, even despicable ones like these bandits and murderers would have left. Flood let his sister yell some more, before summoning a thick tail of light shadow to reach up to her head and whack it hard. "Idiot, of course your plan was stupid. We need to take the boss out, not give him a head start into a wild goose chase." Sighing, Flood watched their 'ally' storm off. "I apologise for Fairy, and can assure you, if we are after the same man, then he won't get far." Flood claimed, before latching his light shadow tail up onto the hole in the roof, pulling himself up for a good view. Up there, he went to the edge, looking around before holding out his head. Around ten balls of light mist appeared, before transforming into birds. Flood glanced at each, "Go and find any exit points around this area, if you find him, call me." Flood asked, and the birds flew off in separate directions. Flood smiled a little, Zuura had almost forced Flood to create bird familiars with his semi-Dark magic, just for the clan master to play with. But now, Flood used the birds as the perfect scouts; small, fast and agile.

Fable scoffed and turned back around to look at the others, almost ready to shout at the stupidity of the female before the other stepped into help, probably a good thing too because Fable was ready to throw a casket. Rolling her eyes, Fable didn't really care what they did, as long as the bandit leader was killed, and Fable got out of there before anyone else saw her. She said nothing as she was addressed, but watched in slight fascination at the magic use, before she whistled and waited a few seconds for Equus to turn up. "He's most likely to have taken a route leading north, there's an outpost there that he's bound to stop at if we miss him now." Smiling to Equus and he trotted over, ready for chasing down the leader, Fable climbed up and looked down to the other. "If your here for glory or money then you wont find it with me. Im here to kill the leader and leave, simple as." Checking to make sure her hood was up, and bow in place, Fable maneuvered until Equus was ready to run. "And if your here for an honest reason, then either hop on or keep up... But you have five seconds to chose."

For an ex-assassin, Fairy had got out of all of her previous habits. The thought of the boss making a run for it didn't run through Fairy's mind. She had the mind of a fighter now, and assumed everyone would face her, and not run with tails between their legs. But in reality, the number of cowards that ran far outmatched the number of honourable fighters. Fairy didn't like this stranger calling her stupid, but Flood calling Fairy an idiot was almost a daily occurrence. It had lost its spark a long time ago for Fairy, and she only huffed when Flood spoke. She smiled through her helmet when Flood rushed off. The job was as good as done now, as Flood was a major spoil-sport when it came to finishing the job before anyone else got the chance. Fairy didn't like being left with the grumpy stranger though, although she did almost squeal at the horse. He was adorable, and as a Mun clan to her core, Fairy loved all animals. Fairy almost snorted, turning her magic armour off and letting it disappear into the air. "Nah, me and Flood are here to save the world, one evil at a time." Fairy replied, almost reciting her brother's words. Fairy would have refused the ride, but the thought of getting to ride such a cute horse like Equus was too good to refuse. Fairy jumped on behind Fable, admiring the height on this adorable creature. "Really, all we need to do is wait, because once Brother assures you that he'll do something, odds are it's finished in under five minutes."

Flood could hear the girls, and everything around them, yet another of his heightened senses. Although, he didn't concentrate on what they were speaking about, instead waiting to hear even the simplest noise from around them, a caw from one of his crow familiars, or the sound of surprise in the bandit leader. Closing his eyes to focus on sound alone, Flood took a deep breath. It had taken so many years for him to be able to control his senses, and on some days, it still caused severe head aches. If the enemy ever knew about Flood's super hearing and sight, they could probably use it against Flood, send him into a wave of madness that Flood hadn't drowned in for so long. He heard a subtle, out of the ordinary noise, coming from the north, just as their friend had spoken about. Flood opened his eyes to his black and white world, making sure to reduce the range before it snapped his mind in half, so that he only saw so far ahead, following the flickering red-orange light of someone running. There was their target, and Flood made a jump off the edge of the roof to make sure the man didn't leave the Sun child's field of vision. Flood landed on the ground hard, without a scratch of damage on himself, before turning into fog. He could easily catch up to the man now, but waited for Fairy and their new friend to follow the general direction, seeing this still as an opportunity for Fairy to learn some things. So Flood wouldn't go and finish the job without the others, unless they somehow didn't catch him, then Flood would go and put out the red-orange light of a soul himself.

Fable gave a half smile to herself, it wasn't everyday she got to meet someone else willing to help for the right reasons. Let alone two, but there was no time to consider such things, at least not until this guy was caught. Giving a pat to the head of Equus for taking the extra passenger on this run, Fable was grateful for the help with this. Though, Fable did scoff at the idea of waiting. "Doesn't matter, I'd rather head over to help knowing it was sorted, then sit and wait for any reason, now then. Hold tight." Kicking Equus in the side a little, her beloved companion was off, running to chase down the leader, Fable knew this land well enough by now to trust her instincts on where he was headed. Equus was fast, Fable knew he would easily catch up even with the extra weight, and it wasn't long until they came across a man, presumably the leader, running for his life, towards the very same out post she predicted. "You know, prove your not as stupid as you were earlier and give your method on how to catch this guy ahead..." Fable knew what she would do, ride ahead and block him off before taking her bow and disabling him, before giving a quick painless death. But she was curious as to how another would do so.

Fairy guessed she couldn't hold a grudge against this other girl for good, she was going after the same mission. And despite her attitude, Fairy didn't always mind sharing credit, so long as she at least got a fair share of it. Plus she got the chance to ride a horse, so all was good now. She smirked as she saw the white flash of Flood transforming into mist, before rushing like a gust of wind into the air, disappearing from sight. Fairy often wondered why she never asked Flood for duels anymore, but seeing his freaky skills when on missions, his beyond natural ability in everything. She thought a lot of herself, but even Fairy knew she'd last a minute against Flood, if that. But she did feel glad, glad that she'd agreed to follow that friendly, shadowy man in Baransu, who'd offered her a home and the key to a worth while future. This adorable horse was amazing in speed, and Fairy almost forgot where they were going as she enjoyed the ride. When the hooded girl asked for her idea, and Fairy skimmed over the fact that she'd called the knight stupid again, Fairy chuckled. They could easily cut the guy off, Fairy usually had Flood duplicate himself for that task, but it could be a little more interesting with three. Fairy looked around the road ahead, before smiling a bit. "Well, Flood can take care of the road ahead, can't you brother?" Fairy said, as if Flood was right next to them. "Now, the boss will probably fight back, so I'll get his attention and take the attack, and you can do what you do from the side... sound dumb still?" Fairy added, not waiting for their friend to answer before jumping off of Equus, not before giving his back a little pat. Before she'd even landed on the ground, Fairy had turned her armour back on, and summoned thin golden wings that turned into a blur in the air, keeping the heavy knight floating off the ground. Fairy got a little helpful push from a wall of white fog from Flood, before flying alongside the horse until they'd reached the boss. Once there, Flood did whatever he usually did, and Fairy made sure to make enough noise to get the boss focused on her, or ready to get in the way of his attack should he aim at Fable instead.

Flood was already doing laps around the boss, a weightless body like his moved at incredible, uncharted speeds. He could have finished it by now, but was too curious to see how the girls worked together. This other one, the one helping them, Flood was tempted to ask more from her. If she was indeed out for the same reason, to help the world, then no matter her style, she could prove to be a resourcefully ally. And a good person in general, her mysterious tone couldn't hide that from the soul-seeing Flood. Hanging around, Flood could hear his sisters plan, and would laugh if he could as a mist. It was an exaggerated plan, one that could be easily carried out by one person alone, but he could see where Fairy was going. She wanted to see how all three worked together, and was perhaps as curious as Flood about it. Leaving the girls to it, Flood rushed in front of the man, turning into a thick wall of white mist, one that blocked the entire path ahead. The boss panted, looking left to right as the path in front of him disappeared in a wall of white fire. Flood couldn't materialise yet, or rather didn't want to. He helped Fairy speed up, but after that remained 'invisible' as he watched the show. He could see this man's soul, a bloody orange colour that was too thick to cure. Whilst other evils Flood tried to cure when fighting them with Fairy, this man wouldn't change, even if a chance to was offered to him. The intention he could feel Fable had for this man's fate was obvious, but Flood was ready to accept that as well.
