Note: Gensho is NPC for this thread
The crash through the window wasn't the worse moment of the flight. As they gained more and more distance from the tower, like a light, the magic fuelling the two Skull familiar's turned off, leaving a dazed Akvan and Gensho to fall without time to summon their wings. They spun uncontrollably in the air, before crashing like rocks straight through the roof of a large, one room building. Dust from the roof was everywhere, and both Demons were dead silent for a few moments as wind was knocked out of them. Akvan felt the pain the worst, for the skull that had carried him away hit him hard as it did so. But despite their physical pain, neither Akvan or Gensho could move for one reason alone. They just couldn't believe that the world around them was real, and what they'd witnessed going on in the Ballroom was also real. Akvan's injures were worse, but he was the first to rise, "W-we have... to go back." He muttered, stumbling to find a door. "No Akvan," Gensho spluttered, before clearing his throat, "you saw what was happening... Onrah, he... he used the last magic he had left to make sure we got out, w-we can't just let that... sacrifice go in vain." It sounded like Gensho could hardly believe his own words, and Akvan turned to see his brother's reddened face, and watery eyes. It then truly hit Akvan too, that this was all real, it really happened. Onrah was really...
Akvan choked, falling to his knees by a wall. "H-he can't of.... I-I-I mean, it's Onrah.. he'd never..." Akvan tried to force disbelief in his mind, but knew he could never shake the image of his bloodied, dying older brother from his head. Akvan too then cried, almost pain-stricken tears falling from his face. Gensho shuddered, knees to his chests as he could only close his eyes and give into silence. But then, something changed in Akvan's cries. They contorted, for moments it seemed as though the Demon God was almost laughing. Gensho frowned, red eyes looking up to see a smile over Akvan's face. Akvan himself went dizzy, feeling a pounding in his head that went out of control. Before long, he was full out cackling, only to stop with a grin a few moments later. "Freedom... It's so close... Give me, my freedom, you little shit." Came a coarse voice from Akvan. Gensho realized what was going on. This was bad, and no doubt the enemy knew that this would happen. Whatever god-forbidden things they did to Onrah, weren't just to kill the Demon God, but to make Akvan break. It was what they were always after, Itami and her goons. All they really wanted was for Akvan to crumble into nothing. Gensho glanced around the room for something hard, he couldn't allow them to have that, not tonight of all nights. And so, whilst Shinda was only just clinging onto control, Gensho came round the back of him, hitting him hard on the head with a plank of wood. He winced as he did so, knowing Akvan would feel that later, but for now the God of Disease would have to forgive Gensho for the drastic action. Dropping the plank of wood, Gensho lifted his head, hearing the voices of some unkindly men approaching, brutes no doubt hired to collect Akvan and probably kill Gensho.
Gensho shuddered to think of what kind of greasy, untidy men they were, before reminding himself of the job at hand. He picked Akvan's limp body up, hooking one of his brother's arms over his shoulder and around his neck, before lifting Akvan by his side. Gensho winced as something stung in his hand. No doubt the little trip Onrah forced on Gensho by his skull around his wrist had broken it. Gensho smiled slightly, you had to make this awkward for me, didn't you, brother? he thought to himself. Gensho summoned his wings, carrying himself and Akvan onto the roof through the hole they'd made landing in the building. Gensho regretted the decision when he realized how close the enemy were. At least three groups surrounded them. One crowding the street below, another in the sky flying, and the last one on the rooftops a block away. The last group only consisted of two people, the second in command of the outlaws, and Gensho's Jiko-Jiko team-mate, Makeru. The Demon smiled awkwardly, knowing what kind of job it would be to escape this mess. He had one plan, but it would take most of his magic energy. Still, it was the only shot left. Gensho used his free hand, and summoned a dark mist. Almost instantly, the entire volume of at least half a mile of Baransu turned pitch black. In this darkness, none of the Outlaws would be able to see, hopefully, and Gensho would be the only one able to manoeuvre through the black cloud by his night vision.
And so, Gensho managed to escape all of the groups, pleased to hear the silence behind him as the Outlaws remained dazed and confused in Gensho's dark mist. Gensho knew the only way they'd make enough distance from Baransu and the terrors of this night was by 'borrowing' an airship, and so the Demon God made a beeline for the main docks, not too far away. Gensho felt honestly exhausted when he reached the docks, pain in his broken wrist, and still feeling bruised from the fall. But none of the obvious health warnings currently blaring in Gensho's head were noticed, as making sure he and Akvan were safe was top priority. He felt some movement to his side.
Akvan's head pounded, and he felt dehydrated and exhausted. He couldn't remember what happened after collapsing to the floor, other than losing control. He opened his eyes slowly, not being able to focus on anything, but managed to make out that they were at some sort of docks. Akvan lifted his head to look to Gensho, but before he could say anything, there came footsteps from behind them.

Ru was waiting outside the tower, both he and Itami knew that Onrah wouldn't go without a fight and it was likely he would catch onto what was going as to help Akvan escape, and that's where he came in. Watching a waiting to see where that escape came from. It wasn't long until he heard the shatter of glass and two figures emerge from it, his guess being Akvan and Gensho. Nodding to Makeru, Ru began the flight after them, not before looking back, praying that Chester was okay, there was a funny feeling in his stomach that made him want to go back, but he could not.
Rushing after the two figures, Ru slowed down as they began to fall and landed on the nearby roof before looking to the other groups of Outlaws. "Go keep everyone else occupied, myself and Makeru will receive the prize." Ru felt uneasy, it was no lie to himself that he no longer wished to do this, but at the same time he wanted to keep his promise to Itami, and to keep Chester safe. Chuckling slightly as everything turned dark, Ru turned to Makeru. "Follow as best you can, my theory is that they will head to the docks, best way for both to escape without Gensho having to carry the other." And with that, Ru moulded into the shadows and quickly followed behind, making sure he wasn't seen. It wasn't long until Ru's theory was proven correct, and he came out of the shadows and headed over to where they were. If he failed to capture Akvan, Itami would not be pleased and Chester would be the one to suffer for it... But Ru also knew that Chester was feeling guilty over all that was happening, and even mentioned she no longer wished to be involved... So he was in conflict as to whether he should allow them to escape, or if he should follow the promise made many years ago. "There's nowhere for you to run... It will be less painful to yourselves if you give in now, Itami will get what she wants, and now she has Onrah's powers, she wants you Akvan... No matter how she has to get you..."

Note: Akvan and Gensho are NPC in this post
Mak followed like the obedient dog he was. The one thing he didn't want to become when doing all of this, and yet in the last few weeks, Makeru had felt lie just that. He was kind of glad he wasn't inside the Ballroom with the others to witness the 'plan'. Hearing the painful screams and evil cackles had been enough to make the indifferent man feel sick. Makeru munched on one of his apples as he waited for orders, being put under Rurushu's command for this mission. To be honest, Makeru felt bad that Ru was made to do this. He could feel doubt in the Demon's heart, and of all in the Outlaws, Rurushu had been the closest thing to a friend to Mak. But he knew that this plan had no backing out, unless they wanted their heads to be removed by Itami and her new powers.
Makeru followed through the black fog, knowing it would have been easier to follow if he could have flown, but managed to keep up with Rurushu all of the same. Makeru took a breather when they reached the docks, closing slowly on Gensho's position. The poor God of Night had run pretty far, especially injured and carrying his brother. A sibling's love for the other, Makeru knew all to well how that felt. Mak focused on what Rurushu said, thinking back to the corrosive cries of pain that came from the Ballroom. The Angel hated to think what that meant was going on in there, if Itami now had the God of Death's powers. Makeru could see something break in the eyes of the two siblings, and decided now to take his action. "Yeah, you guys are pretty surrounded, it would take an expert flyer and good airship to get you clear from the Outlaws..." Makeru stated, creating a ball of lightening in his hand. To the Demon brothers surprised expression, Makeru jabbed his electrified hand into Rurushu's side, instantly stunning the second in command. Soon after, Makeru pulled his necklace from around his neck, throwing it into the harbour for his Golden ship to appear. Rushing to Gensho's side to take a hold of Akvan between them, Makeru led the pair on board. "We don't have much time, I know for a fact there will be some enemy ships and flyers out there, so prepare for a rough ride." Makeru said, placing a hand on the ship's railing to command it to move off.
Gensho dropped his weaker brother down safely, before turning to Mak. "You have our thanks, as I'm sure it was risky to betray the Outlaws like this." Makeru looked at him, finally shrugging. "They never saw me as anything but a tool, and what they're doing is beyond even an ex-Angel's ideals." Gensho smiled and bowed his head, looking nervously behind them as three dark ships from high in the clouds were gaining on their position. "You sure we can escape?" He asked uneasily. Makeru chuckled, picking up an apple from some hidden storage on the deck, "Don't worry pal, I got us some help."

Whilst the Angels had been the first to leave the Ballroom, making sure everyone got out of the chaos, they were also the first to re-enter. Although, it wasn't the greatest place to be. It was a well known fact that Demon blood was acidic, and so burnt into almost anything. And so the entire area to the right of the stairwell was covered in burning holes, the hiss of acid and the body of a Demon God. Kaku couldn't get the image out of his mind, and connecting it to all that Makeru had told him yesterday, it made Kakushin want to be sick. But he couldn't focus on what he'd been told, not until he'd fulfilled the promise he made to Mak. So Kaku took off from the scene in the Ballroom, diving out of the window after asking Neko to go and find Nanari and make sure she was safe. He soared high into the sky in seconds, and followed the movements of the two fleeing Demons like a hawk in the clouds.
It wasn't Kakushin's time to strike until Rurushu was temporarily stunned by Mak, and when the Outlaws and their ships were bearing down on the Golden ship. Kakushin glanced to Rurushu, before shaking his head, that was something to consider once he'd don his job. Kaku surveyed the three dark ships chasing Makeru and the Demon Gods, and the at least ten flying Outlaws also on their tail. He had to make sure he could take them all out in thirty seconds, or else he'd be in trouble. Kakushin readied his sword, and tucked his wings into a shallow dive. Holding his breath, Kakushin concentrated, and his eyes suddenly glowed a golden yellow. It felt like he'd become as light as a feather, and there was no resistance in his movements. In less than a second, Kaku landed on the first Outlaw airship, stabbed his blade through the three men on board, and forced the ship to stop. He then jumped and flew to the next ship, disabling it and it's crew. The next ship was close enough to hop over to, and was just as quickly immobilized. The airships out of the way, Kakushin counted heads in the dark skies, and flew to each target, stabbing each through the chest before quickly landing on the docks before his Light-Speed magic's time ran out. Kakushin froze, his blade almost smoking from the light speed movements, and turned to watch the three ships stop, and ten confused and dazed Outlaws fall into the waters of Baransu docks.
Breathing heavily, Kakushin looked to Makeru's golden ship, nodding slightly to the outlawed Angel. The job, and promise, had been cleared, and now came the really tough bit. Kakushin swallowed, feeling as though he was shivering nervously. Makeru had come to him yesterday, and explained the entire plan of the Outlaws. They weren't the simply miscreants Angels believed them to be, but they had extreme, world changing plans. Killing a well known and much loved Demon God, and then going on to removing the entire Angel and Human race. Kakushin couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe that he had once been naive enough to think that Rurushu, the Demon he'd fallen in love with, was second in command for Kaku and his race's obliteration. Kakushin tried to steady his breathing, before letting out a hateful chuckle. "You know, when Mak told me all about the Outlaws and their plans, I couldn't believe him. I know Itami's a bitch, and every word of the Outlaws plan had her name written all over it... but what I couldn't believe was that Rurushu, my Rurushu, was a part of it too." Kakushin swallowed again, shaking his head in disbelief. "Clearly, I was an idiot right from the start of all this... And clearly you're not the Rurushu I thought you were." Kakushin spat, before pointing his blade towards the Demon Outlaw. "The Rurushu I thought I knew would never agree to a plan that alienated brothers, that tortured people and murdered them in cold blood. He would never agree to a plan that would cause suffering over this entire world, that would kill so many innocent people without thought or remorse. And he'd never... never agree to a plan that would result in killing me as well."
Kakushin sword began to waver as he heard the words coming out of his own mouth, none it sounded real. It all sounded like a nightmare, and Kaku hated nightmares. But hearing himself say it all, he was made aware that this nightmare was real, and that clearly the couple of months of happiness he'd thought he'd had weren't real. A tear dropped from Kakushin eye, before he composed himself once more, glaring to Rurushu. "I suggest you arm yourself, because I made a promise to Makeru that I'd keep anyone from following him, and unlike you Demons, Angels tend to keep their promises."

The second those words left Makeru's mouth, Ru knew what he was planning to do. But he didn't fight or try to stop him, this was the perfect excuse for Ru to allow them to escape, and considering Itami was the one to hire Makeru for this mission in the first place, Ru was not to blame. Letting himself be shocked, Ru fell to the ground and laughed, Itami would not be pleased about this, but it had to be done, even if he now had to fake chasing down the ship to 'prove' his loyalty to Itami... Even if his promise to her would be broken, it was made when Ru was a different person, one filled with hatred for his kind and longing for a better future, besides he had better promises to make now.
Ru began to stand up, watching the other Outlaws suddenly fall from the sky... There was no doubting who was the cause of that, Ru only hoped that after all this was over, regardless on how it ended, Kaku could forgive him for all he does now. Turning around, Ru was looking straight into the eyes of Kaku, and he knew then and there, before he even opened his mouth that Kaku was not happy, and getting forgiveness later on would not be a likely outcome. Ru didn't stop the shudder and the automatic move to the hilt of his weapon when Kaku laughed, it sounded so unlike him, and Ru had to double check that it was really the Guardian he had changed for. Controlling his own breathing, Ru listened to every word that escaped the others lips, words that were once loving now seemingly cold and menacing to him. Chuckling slightly himself once Kaku was finished, Rurushu glanced to the sword aimed at him. "You have always known I've been part of the Outlaws... Hell, the whole reason why we met was because of it. And obviously you do not know me at all to think I have changed... This has always been me.." Ru threw out his arms and gave another laugh. He couldn't believe the words coming from his own lips, but at the same time, Ru never believed Kaku would say such things either. "The Rurushu you knew is the same one standing here in all his glory... And he didn't just agree to the plan, he helped to create it... You do not know about the choices made in the past that lead me here, nor do you seem to know anything about me.... I warned you that I had a dark side in me, and yet you were too naïve to believe it. And don't think I want you dead, I never wanted you to get hurt, and if I could I would make sure you remained out of all clutches of the Outlaws... But I cant."
Ru took a look at Kaku, it was clear to him that there was no way he could get forgiveness, especially after all he said. But Ru never lied to him once, nor did he decline any thing about what he does. He didn't want to fight Kaku, but he knew he had no choice... Even if all he will be able to see is himself harming the man he loves, the man who made him want to finally break free of the Outlaws and finally become his own person, not a pawn for Itami to use to her liking. Ru wanted to cry himself once he got a quick glimpse of the lone tear to fall from Kaku's eyes... It may have only been one, but Ru knew it was because of him, and it may as well have been a dam breaking... He really didn't wish to ever make Kaku upset and cry, not because of him... Clutching the hilt of his sword, Ru unsheathed it, dreading the fight that was bound to come from it. "I told you, I never break my promises... Not unless things really call for it... And I don't want to hurt you Kaku... I still love you..."

It could all be that Kaku wasn't really mad at Rurushu. The man was just following his family. What Kaku was mad at was himself, the fact that he, over and over again allowed himself to be defeated, he would allow himself to become the victim of heartbreak all of the time. Kakushin was sick to the bone of being wrong, he always was, and always would be. Because after deciding years ago that acting indifferent and never letting others close would protect him from being hurt again, Kakushin had forgotten that, and thrown caution to the wind as he fell for Ru. He'd ignored the warnings because he didn't want them to be true, and thought that he could help make sure they weren't ever made true. But clearly, Kakushin didn't deserve to have someone like Rurushu if he couldn't even make a dent in helping the Demon stray from the path of chaos. Kakushin's eyes dropped. Perhaps he never could help the Demon change, because the pair of them were just too different. Sure, at a time, it must have felt good to rebel against what they knew was right, and fall for one another. But Kakushin considered it now, Angels and Demons had been enemies from the beginning. Although there would be occasions of an acceptance, Kaku was sure even King Mo and Queen Tenshi knew that true peace was impossible. If that was the case, then not only Kakushin's time with Rurushu, but his time as Guardian of Peace, were all completely meaningless.
Kakushin couldn't think on it too much, no matter how painfully it dug itself into his mind. He had to follow the will of his sword, and commit to the fight he'd already planned would probably happen. The Angel almost broke when Rurushu said he still loved him, and Kakushin knew that Rurushu could destroy the whole world, and he'd still love the Demon back. But nothing could prevent this happening now. Kakushin twisted his blade around his hand, before going in for a usual swift attack across the chest. He made sure he attacked without looking directly into Rurushu's eyes, because even a simple glance could break his focus.

Ru moved back as quick as his reflexes would take him, when he unsheathed his sword, Ru had no intention on attacking, but he would defend himself from the impending attacks. He could feel his eyes fill up with water, but refused to allow them to fall, regardless on the end here, Itami would get what she wants... She always does. So Kaku would soon perish alongside his kind, even if Ru's existence was ended here and now. Jumping to the left, he had to make it seem as if he was fighting back, and find a way to get away and chasing after the ship, even if he was never planning to capture Akvan. Gripping his sword tight, Ru aimed for a swipe at the others head, but made sure it was executed enough to be easily dodged. He refused to harm the man he loved. Ru knew that Kaku refused to properly look at him, the reason why he was unsure, but he wanted the other to see... As Ru knew what Kaku would find was a pleading apology, as Ru never wanted things to happen this way.... Even if his words said otherwise. "I've seen you do better then that Kaku... Don't hold back just because its me, either way one of us has to lose this battle..."

Kakushin couldn't look into the others eye because of what he'd said in the cherry sanctuary. It was to Kaku's belief that someone's nature could be read from looking into their eyes. He'd once claimed to see someone kind and honest, but feared what he'd see if he looked now. Sorrow, hopelessness, anger. That was how Kakushin felt, but those emotions were nothing new, only old and almost forgotten. Kaku's strike was avoided, and the Angel gritted his teeth, almost being hit by the easily avoidable hit because he couldn't properly look at his opponent. Although, Kaku did let a half hearted smile as Ru jested once more. It was just like they used to be, fighting, mocking the other to try and get a response. But Kakushin wasn't playing around anymore. He couldn't kill with his blade coated in Peace Magic, but he was hell-bent on making sure Rurushu was defeated. As far as Kaku was concerned, he'd never hold back again.
Gripping his blade tightly, Kakushin went for strike after strike, adopting his method of bringing down Hane. Attacking once, and then jumping back and to the side, so to run circles around his opponent. For a while, it would be the same stalemate, until Kaku's speed caught up with his opponents, and he could attack before they had time to turn and defend. Rurushu was surprisingly good at keeping up, considering he wasn't a fast swordsman like Hane was, and kept the spinning attacks at bay for a good few minutes. But Kaku knew what usually happened during his method. If the opponent thought ahead, they could meet Kaku in the middle of all of his attacks. Rurushu was in spirit of battle like Hane, especially now of all times. So Kaku had to end this quickly. He stopped his circling, and ran straight at Rurushu. The Demon was prepared, and almost hit Kaku as the Angel still refused to look at him properly. But Kaku managed to block the hit, and used his wings to force him to bound straight over Ru, landing right behind. In a split second, Kaku was turning on his heel, sword-arm swinging back with immense speed. And in a flash of light, it sliced straight across Rurushu's back. Kaku didn't even hesitate, because he knew his magic didn't hurt his victims, only paralyse them. But still, another tear fell from his eye as he finished the fight with the quick motion, stepping back for a moment to catch his breath.

Rurushu knew the second after Kaku began to circle him that he would lose this battle, hell before even beginning it Ru knew the other would win... After all Ru wasn't going to fight back, so would have lost either way. But despite knowing he was going to lose, Ru made sure to defend himself as best he could. And considering Ru trained himself in the art of sword fighting, whereas Kaku was taught by a master of it, he would say he lasted a pretty long time. Groaning in slight pain when the sword hit his back despite knowing it would only paralyse him... The ghost pain he knew would be there if it was a real attack being the reason why. Catching his breath, Ru looked up as best he could through the paralyse towards Kaku, and dropping his gaze when he saw the tear. "Don't you dare cry, your so much stronger then that..." It was over for Ru now anyways, so he might as well try to talk to Kaku how he wanted, without the fear of what would come from the Outlaws knowing. "I don't blame you for any of this love... And I know I have no right to ask, but will you be the one that ends me? Akvan has got away, and I rather be killed by the one I love, then the monster I helped to do all this."

Kakushin just stared at the ground after finishing the fight. He thought fighting Rurushu would let the anger out of his system, but Kaku still felt sick. Was he disappointed with himself, with Rurushu, or did his hate bend towards the Outlaws now? He didn't know, and not knowing who to trust and who to hate anymore was driving Kaku mad. He lifted his blade to stare at that instead, looking at himself in the reflection. Kakushin quickly sniffed, wiping the tear from his eye. A shudder came from Kakushin, he wanted to believe Rurushu, but Kaku was where he was now because he wasn't strong enough. He'd never been strong enough to help properly, perhaps being given Guardian powers had made Kaku assumed he could be stronger. But he was never strong enough to help Itamu, to be able to support Neko like the cat had supported him day and night. And Kakushin hadn't been strong enough to understand how to help make sure he and Ru could be together, and not fall into his naive little wonderland that led them to this. His ban on looking into Rurushu's eyes was soon broken, when the Demon requested to be put down. Kaku's head shot to the side, staring at Rurushu at the very idea of such a thing. Maybe before coming here, Kaku had been pretty sure he could only end this meeting one way. But now the opportunity to end it was presented to him, Kakushin froze. And looking into Rurushu's eyes made it harder. They were as saddened as Kaku assumed they'd be, and it made Kakushin want to run. He choked for a moment, shaking the tears from his eyes before they fell again. Taking a deep breath, Kakushin lifted his blade, running a hand across it until it lost it's magic glow, and became any normal, killing blade. Kakushin shivered, almost losing grip on his blade as he walked up to Rurushu. It felt like hours until Kaku could move again, lifting the blade to strike down. But it was all one big feint. Kaku knew the very moment he looked at Rurushu that he couldn't kill him. The Angel looked over to his blade, before simply letting it drop to the floor. Kaku soon fell after the sword, kneeling on the ground as he couldn't hold back his tears anymore. "Why... why would you ask me to do that? You know there's no way I could kill you. I could never lose you like that. No matter what I feel right now, I'd never be able to kill the one I love."

Well Exitium's evening was going wonderfully. He felt almost satisfied, making sure to log the cries of that pathetic Demon God in his mind forever. Oh how Exitium had wanted to kill Onrah was so long, to be honest, to have the opportunity presented to him so soon was a dream come true. And now Itami was even stronger, not as strong as the God of Destruction, but still beautifully destructive in her own right. It aroused Exitium to think of what was next in the plans, the sweet death and destruction of the scum of this world. It almost made Exi want to cry with joy, but for now he had another thing to pick up. Itami had told him that her trust in Rurushu was diminishing, which meant for Exitium, he could hopefully rid them of a parasite Exitium had been cautious of for so long now. Another toy for tonight, Exitium just couldn't wait. He soared over the bubble of darkness, made by the God of Night that had got away with their target, a few minutes behind the ships. Exitium was hoping to find an immobilized Akvan and possibly killed Gensho, but instead witnessed the three ships chasing them frozen in the air. And the filth, Makeru, had gone with their target.
Exitium didn't hide his anger well, rage taking over his face. He landed just out of sight of the docks, secretly listening in as some bright Angel seemed ready to finish off Rurushu. Whilst Exi wanted to take the job to kill that scum himself, he couldn't help but watch, until he was surprised as the Angel simply dropped his weapon and collapsed. What Exitium heard next made the Demon cackle out loud, and walk out to reveal himself. "Love? So that's why...." Exitium stated, clapping his blood-stained hands together. "You know, I always hated you Rurushu... but to think you'd be tempted to be with that... thing, that filthy insect, really makes me disappointed." The Demon was able to get a better look at the Angel, smiling as he recognised the face, and what that meant he could do. "Kakushin, Guardian of Peace... what a disgusting job. You're name is all over the Outlaws little base, everyone is just desperate for you to be dead. Oh, what kind of reward could I get for killing you know, and that traitor next to you." Exitium sneered to Rurushu, "Why, I'd be clearing all of our worries in one swoop! Haha... now, Guardian, what will you do? You and I know both Destruction and Peace cannot meet without one being destroyed, and if you don't stop me... sweet little Rurushu shall be sprayed everywhere." Whilst Exitium liked to prevent his toys from fighting as soon as he could so he could play, he also liked a good fight. For his prey to struggle before Exitium tortured them, that was almost as good as inflicting the pain was. Exitium held his hands at the ready, palms glowing read. "I'll let you decide."

Ru looked up surprised to Kaku, why would he do that? After everything he had done, why didn't he just end him while he had the chance. But before Ru even had time to answer and comprehend everything, he heard a cackle that made his blood run cold... Exitium. Ru knew Itami wanted him involved with their plans, and found out only a few days before that he was actually involved, and he was the only other person, neither liked the other, in any respect. But knowing that Exitium heard everything, meant that neither Ru nor Kaku were safe. But it also meant that all secrets were out the bag, and Ru would be exterminated either way, so why stay on the side of the Outlaws? "Im pretty sure your the only filthy insect here Exitium. Why not run back to Itami like the good bitch that you are..." If Ru could move, he would have no problems trying to end the Demon, but he could not, not until the paralysis wears off. Ru growled when Exitium addressed Kaku, there was no way he was letting Kaku get hurt because of him, even if he couldn't move. "Hey fucker. Your fight is with me, not him..." Rurushu knew he was just making his death promise more painful, but if he could distract Exitium long enough to allow Kaku to escape then he was happy. "I mean, im sure you only followed because that bitch realised my loyalties changed... And sent her new loyal play thing to rid of the dead weight... If she found out that, that attention was diverted... Bye, bye to her toy..."

Kaku had barely said the words he wanted to say when he heard laughter. Brutal laughter, and turned to look at a blood-covered Demon. He knew the one, Exitium, he'd been the one to kill the Demon God in the Ballroom. Or at least torture him, Kakushin was still struggling to get the image out of his head. Exitium wasn't someone Kakushin wanted to meet on a good day, since the two had opposite jobs. It was well know for Angels and Demons with opposite jobs to fight for power, and Kakushin didn't really want to do that at this moment. Kakushin was ready to ignore Exitium's pestering words, until he mentioned killing Rurushu. The Angel held his breath, getting up slowly, sending a glare of all the hate built up over the last few minutes at Exitium. Kakushin knew what Exitium did to kill, and the moment he pictured that happening to Rurushu, his mind was set. Before Kaku's move was made, Rurushu spoke, in Kaku's mind he groaned. He knew what the Demon was trying to do, direct attention to him, so that Kaku was left alone and safe. But Kakushin was never going to let himself play this game again, being the one to escape whilst the other died. "Rurushu, forgive me for this..." Kakushin muttered under his breath, barely audible. He then looked to Exitium, letting the idea of losing another love again fuel his next movement. It was risky, but Kakushin activated his Light-Speed again, and darted towards Exitium, connecting his fist with the sick Demon's jaw in less than a blink, whilst the Demon was distracted. The punch was back-up by the sheer speed at which Kaku was travelling, an sent the God of Destruction crashing into crates. Kakushin had to turn his magic off quick, already feeling his fist burn painfully from the second use of the powerful magic. Taking deep breaths, Kakushin continued his glare to Exitium. "No-one's your toy, you Demon bastard, and like hell I'm going to let you hurt Rurushu." Kakushin wished he had his blade on him, but it was still dropped near Rurushu. So for now, this really would be a battle between Peace and Destruction magic. Kaku let his hands glow white. "You wanted this battle, so bring it on."

Exitium smiled as the Demon traitor still had a mouth on him, even though he was almost a drooling mess on the floor. All of his stupid, words of filth only added to Exitium's urge to kill right now. And Destruction magic was stronger the angrier Exitium was, so he was almost daring Rurushu to continue. Exitium chuckled. "My fight is with both of you. And I can assure you, trash like the two of you will be dealt with as soon as possible. If I do not remove the trash today, I will eventually, as I always do." Exitium replied, smirking to Rurushu. He honestly wanted to wait until the Demon could do more than wriggle before killing him, as it would be more fun. So no matter what Rurushu said to piss him off, Exitium ignored it, knowing he could use it to kill the Angel filth in front of the Demon traitor in a minute.
But then, the Angel surprised Exitium by having more bite than he thought he would. To be honest, Exitium had never seen the Guardian of Peace in combat, and had only assumed him to be weak by his name. But, that punch made something happen that Exitium didn't experience often, or at all. He felt pain, his jaw stinging as a line of blood dribbled from a broken tooth in his mouth. In his pile of crates, Exitium shook the dizzy feeling from his head, and spat out the blood in his mouth. He glared to the Angel with as much fury as the Angel gave him, getting up slowly. "Oh I'm going to hurt him. But not yet, all of this rage... this burning desire to destroy... I'm going to use it all for you, scum... and then perhaps let you watch as I dismember Rurushu the traitor." Exitium purred, holding his hands of a red glow up. He wasn't going to wait for the Angel to catch him off guard again, and sent two explosions from each side at the Angel, before following him, trying to aim any power he could at an arm or leg to make it explode with fire.

Ru was itching to get his hands on Exitium. He knew he was planning on harming Kaku, killing him with a slow painful torturous death, but Ru wouldn't allow it, and cursed every moment he was paralysed. Groaning in annoyance for a single second, before flinching in fear over what Kaku just did... Why would the idiot do that? It was only going to make Exitium crave more blood... "KAKU. YOU IDIOT. YOU SHOULD HAVE ESCAPED WHILE YOU HAD THE BLOODY CHANCE." Ru struggled to free himself of the paralysis, he wanted... No, needed to help Kaku... Exitium was going to kill him, and Ru would be made to watch, he just knew it. "DONT YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON HIM YOU BASTARD..." Ru was panicking as Exitium got up, and felt tears running down his face as the battle begun... And all he could do was watch...
