A nice warm lava bath. Clean ears, and brushed teeth. Fluffed tail, and smoothed claws. Indeed, the Demon King was looking sharp today. Mo stood in his room, looking into his personally made mirror that reached his mighty height. Yes, perhaps a suit would work better for today. Mo's poncho was looking worst for wear right now anyway, so Mo would have to fix it later. The Demon King smiled to himself in the mirror, perhaps his dinner date would like something new made for her as well. Not only was Mo an excellent chef, King, masseuse and wizard, but he was also a master tailor too. If he could have his way, Mo would instruct all Demons to wear his designs and look sharp twenty four-seven. No matter, Mo couldn't control everything his crazy kids did. Picking a small flake of meat from his tooth, Mo turned and placed his hat back on his head, little horns covered away from sight. Sighing to himself, the little demon smiled before clasping his hands together. "Oh little skulls! Darling come on out, we've got a guest to prepare for!" Mo commanded. Suddenly, the red and orange skulls on his hat popped into the world, floating around Mo's head like little flies. Suddenly, all of them flew off in different directions. Some towards the kitchen, others towards the dining room.
Mo walked along, peachy eyes watching his little minions work. This place would be so empty without them, and Mo would actually have to do the work, other than use his magic for it. Mo waddled around, following his skulls and watching their work. Dinner would be ready soon, and Mo wanted to prepare as much of it as he could himself. The skulls helped him collect the ingredients, but the little Demon would never allow them to cook for him. After all, Mo couldn't call himself an excellent chef if he didn't do something himself. When he heard the door ring, large purple ears lifting to the sound, Mo giggled. This was exciting, especially such a guest as today's. Grasping two cups and wrapping his tail around a tea pot, Mo gently placed them down on his special sized table before rushing towards the door to meet his guest.

Tenshi smiled to herself as she walked towards Mo's. It had felt like such a long time since they last met up, even if it was only two weeks since they had tea last. She knew Mo was probably rushing around making sure everything was in order for dinner, and chuckled to herself remembering all the times they had the conversation about him not needing to do so. Even if she did enjoy the home cooked meal, she still didn't see why he needed to go to such lengths after how long they have known each other. Tenshi during the familiar walk couldn't help but remember the first time she ever made the route, under completely different circumstances one may wish to forget. Though part of her didn't really mind, the older Demon's had soon grown accustomed to her arrivals, and made sure to keep newer Demons, who were either not sure about Angels, or hated them altogether, from site and kept her protection. Not that she asked or needed it, but she still felt welcomed by the gesture.
The manor came into view and Tenshi couldn't help but quicken her pace towards the doors and ring. She quickly made sure her attire was in shape, after all, she did shed her usual attire for a more formal white, knee length dress. The doors opened to reveal the adorable Mo, and her long term friend.
"Evening Mo."
Tenshi couldn't help but smile at the site of him, even after all these years.

Indeed, Angels were an odd sight in Dranar, but Mo had more or less got the word out to his fellow Demons to allow their entrance. Mo trusted the Angels, he just needed to make sure his unpredictable children didn't try to start another war. Rubbing his hands together, Mo hopped on his feet, going down into a dramatic bow, holding his hat up with on hand. "M'lady." He said with comic seriousness. Straightening up, Mo smiled, flashing his pearly white fangs. "I would offer to take your coat darling, but you still neglect to bring one.. you'll catch a cold you know." Mo grinned. Clapping his hands together, Mo looked into his manor.
"So then, straight to it eh? I've prepare us something special tonight, as per usual... only the best for an old friend. <3" Mo waited for Tenshi to enter, before walking next to her, showing the Angel Queen into the dinning room, even though she'd been here frequently enough to know her way. A skull followed quickly behind them, closing the front door before going around and lighting candles to keep the place bright. Mo pulled out a normal sized chair for Tenshi, whilst a skull familiar pulled out Mo's specially stilted chair. It was essentially a baby-seat, not that Mo would allow anyone to call it that. "The meal is still simmering, but my skulls are keeping an eye on it," Mo stated, before grasping the tea pot, "for now, I suggest our usual beverage?"

Tenshi was always in awe of the home Mo made for himself, it looked so different, yet so similar to her own. She allowed him to guide her around the manor, even if she could navigate her way blindfolded, it was always a simple yet powerful gesture in her own mind. "We have this conversation every time I come here, I do not own a coat, and one of these days im going to learn how to bake so that I don't come empty handed." Tenshi chuckled at her own memory as she recalled the last time she attempted to bake some cakes for one of their Tea parties. Flour littered the floor and batter somehow made its way onto the tall ceiling of the kitchen. It took days to remove the flour from her hair, but she still refused the help from the self proclaimed kitchen staff, even after almost setting her home on fire.
Her majesty happily accepted the seat and suppressed a laugh at Mo's, as she always does. The last time she laughed, things didn't end well, and several pranks were played on her in the following week. "Would we have anything but?" Tenshi received the mug full of her favourite beverage and let the soothing heat to warm her hands. She may not own a coat and not care, but gloves were something she keeps forgetting to invest in. "I hope you haven't added lots of chillies into the meal this time around, I still have to get you back for that one..."

"The day you bake, darling, is the day our worlds collapse." Mo answering, one Demon eye winking playfully. He did mean it. Though it was a nice gesture, Mo was a lot more about giving than receiving. Plus he needed to watch his figure, who knew how many more sweet buns and cakes Mo could handle before he became more round as well as small. Placing the kettle down, Mo grasped his cup with his two small hands, pulling his tongue out of his mouth. Licking up the tea, much like a cat, Mo drank his beverage with his usual animal-like manners. "So, Tenshi..." Mo said in between sips, "You know we care together tonight for more then just the tea and good food." Mo was suggesting that they begin the discussion now. Most dinner parties Mo held were just for fun, a social gathering between friends. But sometimes the two rulers needed to get serious, discuss real issues.
Mo slurped up the rest of his tea with as much noise as ravage wolves, refilling the cup soon after. "The Outlaws," Mo began, watching the golden liquid pour into his cup, "I have no reason to doubt that our decision to banish, but I fear of what further harm they will do now they have no restraints. Has there been any news of outlawed Angels causing trouble?"

Tenshi was waiting for this conversation, knowing fully well it was coming. She took an unladylike slurp of her tea, not caring for the full extent of her true manners, being too close to Mo for either to worry. But took longer to swallow before speaking. "I have not heard anything. But i have some of my children keeping an eye and ear out incase." Tenshi took a breath before speaking once again. "I always feel bad when the outlaws are mentioned... I feel as if im abandoning my children, just because they have done a bad thing."
She wiped away a tear that fell down her face, she did not wish to have this conversation, but knew it could not be helped, or ignored. Tenshi lived with the belief that she was disowning her children who did a bad thing, rather than doing all in her power to help them see better ways. A system herself and Mo came up with for severe punishment, that despite her knowledge on being the right thing to do, she was still reluctant to agree with.
"What about yourself? Any Outlaws of yours that are stiring up trouble, or suspected of doing so?"

Mo didn't expect many of the Angels would turn outlaw. It wasn't in their nature, as racist as it sounded, Angels were mostly all goodie-goodie. Mo meant no harm by thinking like that, after all it was more or less the truth. They weren't born into a harsh world like Demons. Angels had a job, but it was a nice one. Not all Demons liked creating chaos, and some like it too much. But perhaps Mo was being a bit biased, so the purple Demon took a sip of his tee, quietly humming and nodding along to Tenshi. "They are indeed something we cannot ignore though... although I do hate banishing my own children." Mo smiled to Tenshi, wanting to reach a hand over to hers for comfort... if he could have reached over to it.
Mo's ear lifted slightly to listen to any commotion in the kitchen, before drinking the last of his tea before taking reins in the conversation. "Trouble, daring, should be the name of this town. It is hard for me, I cannot simply scold my children for causing chaos, because that is what we do by our nature. But some do not see the difference in harmless chaos and murder. Onrah, even though his job makes it confusing for him, understands it perfectly." Mo smiled, Onrah was indeed a good successor, smart and dependable for his age. "I do suspect, naturally, that there are some out there looking to break our laws. So far, not many Outlaws have surfaced themselves, but we must stay alert." Mo tapped his cup before leaning back to sigh.
"We can only hope our strictness gets to the kids, stops them misbehaving eh?" Mo said with a grin, offering to pour his Angelic friend another cup. Mo was one to stay positive, even if the situation seemed like a bad one.

Tenshi offered a smile, though she knew that for the most part it was fake, and she expected that Mo knew that too. Though that thought she seemed to ignore. Gladly excepting the second of many cups of tea to come, she mulled over the question briefly. She knew that eventually the strictness would get through to them, if the current outlaws stayed mostly hidden, but she also knew that would take a very long time, and from the sounds of things, that was time they did not have. "I wish to believe that, but I fear the worst. For personally im not great at being too strict on my children, and so time is something I fear we do not have. Or is it just me?"
Tenshi took a sip of her tea and inhaled the delicious aroma that wafted from the kitchen, though she was still wary of what exactly they were eating. This- though only momentarily- was a good distraction from the current topic. "I understand we have much still to discuss, but I must know what that delightful smell is." She was close to drooling at this point, her kitchen staff were wonderful, magical cooks, but there was something about her friends cooking that made her taste the meal before it was even set on the table.

"It is not just you dear." Mo answered quickly, absorbing and diminishing any doubt his friend had in herself. Mo sighed, "No, I understand. And time has never been on our side. Strange, for two beings living immortal lives." Mo wiped his mouth, before tucking his hands into his poncho. Immortality was supposedly the gift he and Tenshi were given as rulers over their spiritual races. It came with the power to help their species thrive. But watching his children live and die and live and die around him was tough, and Mo was a sensitive guy. He held everyone close, and grew weaker and weaker when they all began to die. Mo couldn't actually cope at all with the losses at first. If it wasn't for Tenshi, the little purple man might not be the cheerful, positive little Demon he was know. The idea of creating this balance in nature, and allowing the rebirth of Humans into more happy children was her great idea. Mo might have the strength and heart of a God, but he was no match for Tenshi's holy mind.
Mo's four nostrils wriggled as Tenshi mentioned the smell. Indeed, the Skull familiars were cooking it well. Mo hopped to stand on top of his chair. "That, my dear, is a very rare dish indeed. Cooked Basilisk. A very tough skin to break through, not to mention how hard it is to remove the eyes so that you aren't killed while cooking it. But the meat is the sweetest, softest in Dranar." Mo smiled at the thought. He was known for the far-fetched meats and dishes cooked up, but no matter the substance, Mo's cooking never turned up any noises. He could serve dried Pegasus droppings and still get hums of pleasure from his guests over the dinner table. Jumping down from the chair, Mo's hands clasped together. "No doubt it's almost ready, I should prepare the dishes personally, since my Skull pets aren't always perfect in their presentation." Mo walked into the kitchen, smiling to his spirit pets as they continued to work, cleaning here and cooking there. Mo walked over to the low table, where a couple of red Skulls were placing down metal plates of cooked meat. Tasting a small sample, Mo held a thumb up to the Skulls, before gently placing equal amounts on each plate. The Familiars handled the vegetables and sauces, whilst Mo made an effort to present it perfectly. Commanding four Skulls, two on either sides of the plate, Mo walked back into the large yet rather empty dinning room. He grinned with his pearly fangs, before taking a seat as the Skulls quickly placed down the plates and dressed the table. Mo stroked the head of one passing Orange Skull. "They make the manor so much more alive. It's a relief I don't need to worry my children with serving me here whilst my Familiars are around." Clapping his hands, all the Skulls in the room returned to Mo's hat, and the Demon sat with anticipation for Tenshi to take the first bite.

Tenshi knew they should discuss more, but she simply didn't have the heart to. She was not as emotionally strong as many made her out to be, but kept up her charade, knowing others needed her to be strong for them. So she welcomed the easily made distraction. As Mo left to sort out their dinner, Tenshi let a few tears fall. Mo was right, it was strange how they had all the time in the world, and yet, none at all, she felt it to be unfair, but also like it was a punishment for living so long. She quickly wiped away any tears and set her empty cup down, before going over to make another pot of tea, she may be terrible cooking, but when it comes to her favourite beverage, nothing could go wrong.
She just sat down as Mo returned with dinner. Smiling at the miniature skulls, that she dares not to try and touch in fear of harming one, she silently thanks them. "It must be a nice feeling. I dislike allowing my children to help me out, there is much more they can do then help me in my own home, and yet they still do. Though I am thankful for those who help out in the kitchen, for... Obvious reasons." Tenshi gave a light chuckle and picked out a piece of the meat and popped it into her mouth. Of course she already knew that it was going to taste divine, but it still surprised her by how much so. "Wonderful as always my little friend... I may have to kidnap you into cooking for me all the time." She did not wait for Mo to start eating before popping another piece into her mouth, at a lost on whether to savour the taste, or finish the delectable meal. Though either way, she was going to forget the profundity of her manners for the time being and eat almost like a pig, but more civilised, its not everyday she gets to dine with her friend after all, and they have known each other far too long to care how the other acts.

If Queen Tenshi's eating was compared to a pigs, then Mo's eating was like some sort of mutant swamp creature. He might as well be lying on the table, lapping up the juicy meats like a dog on a bone. The Demon couldn't be blamed, he wasn't humanoid like his children. Mo was a pure Demon, not born from Human origins, and so his savage urges were a lot stronger. His ears were lifted up to listen to Tenshi throughout however. Not one to slowly enjoy the meal, Mo had finished his portion before Tenshi was half way through. The Demon King sat back to wipe his small jaws, smiling brightly to his friend's compliments. "How do you know I don't sneak into your castle and cook for you?" Mo asked with a wink. He was frankly rather territorial over what meals were served to his angelic friend. They needed to be perfect, since measuring up to the occasion Mo-specialty meals was a hard task.
The little Demon sighed, hidden hands patting his small stomach. "Perhaps I could send food over to Aura, I'm sure some of my more energetic children would relish the chance to use their bouncing energy for a job." Most Demons were surprisingly happy to help the Demon King. Whether it was actual joy or simply fear of Mo crushing them with his dragon tail if they refused, Mo was still surprised and grateful. Mo lifted a clawed finger to pick at his teeth, tail flickering in a cat fashion. "How goes the Angel Guardians? Nothing wrong on that front I presume?" Talking about the 'favorites' was always fun. It was like two parents gossiping about how proud they were of their children getting jobs and growing up.

Tenshi chuckled when watching Mo eat, it always did. It was nice to see her friend let go of his manners and act like the true little demon he is. "Not to disregard my children, but your meals are incomparable to them. I would know if you snuck into my castle." Tenshi finished eating her portion of the meal and was tempted to ask for seconds, the choice to do so was tough, but for once she refrained herself. "And that would be wonderful thank you. It'll be nice to have the company too. I know some of my children are close to yours, and I think they will enjoy the visit."
Tenshi took a moment to think about her children. They were doing their jobs well, and still managed to help her out whenever she needed it. "The Guardians are well. Doing their jobs to the best their ability and still seem to find the time to help not just me but others too. How about your Demons?" It wasn't everyday Tenshi got to talk in such a way about her children, though she was proud of each and everyone, some did stand out above the rest, but that was to be expected with how many there really are.

The old Demon chuckled, grinning his white fangs as he giggled. "I suppose you would, wouldn't you? I would be delighted to enlighten your children on the art of preparing a meal sometime, I know that personal guard of yours has a certain level of skill. But they've never seen Demon cooking, and I'm sure they'd learn something from it." Mo lifted his feet up to rest on the table, the stubble legs were only just long enough to reach the surface. "Of course. Some of my kids haven't even seen the grand city of Hikari or even Aura entirely, it would be nice to educate them better." Educate was a simply put word. Mo had ideas that if more Demons visited Aura on friendly terms, it would only strengthen the trust between the spiritual races, and make a second war even less likely.
It was nice to know Guardians were doing fine. Mo doubted the Angels would have many problems on their part, that was the Demon's job. The purple Demon sighed. "Those kids will be the death of me, if we ever discover if that is even possible. There are many inner conflicts uncovering themselves recently. Certain God are looking to cause trouble outside of what amount is granted to them. And there is a particular God who troubles me greatly... perhaps I may have to hire Onrah on that case." Mo tapped his chin with a clawed finger, before glancing into the dim lit kitchen. "There should be a dessert I prepared earlier." He stated, waiting a bit before hopping down to enter the kitchen.

"It would be lovely to have you for the day, im sure my children would be most delighted. And you may bring any of your children with you, perhaps we have a festival, so we can all get to know each other better." Tenshi was already going over plans for such a day in her head, it would be a pleasant day indeed if all the children got to know each other better, and improve relationships. She listened when Mo spoke about his children. She knew some were more rebellious than others and some days it was hard to keep on top of it all, so she knew where he was coming from. Watching Mo as he went to collect desert, Tenshi pondered over what she could do to help, it had always been slightly harder for Mo, as his children were a bit more, enthusiast, so to speak, about what they did.
When Mo returned Tenshi went about trying to take some of the weight of his shoulders. "What God is causing you the most trouble? I can always ask my Angels to keep an eye out for them." It was the best solution, the more eyes watching the more likely they could put a stop to the trouble being caused.

There were many Gods that Mo could reply with. Onrah was troubled with the duty to make bonds between races, and thus had been away for so long Mo barely saw his second in command. And he feared for Onrah. He wasn't as popular amongst other Demons than he should be. Itami, where could Mo begin? That fact that she was harboring a secret organizing under Mo's nose, thinking the immortal Demon didn't know what was going on. She wanted something typical of a Demon, chaos and power. And so Mo couldn't bring himself to hate his daughter, she was only doing what a natural Demon did. His children needed to learn about life from experiencing it. The ups and downs, which was why Mo was reluctant to bring an end to Itami's little army. Exitium. Mo didn't trust the Demon. He was given a God's power without being granted it officially by Mo. And so Exitium was inexperienced in the role of destruction. He saw it as a means to everything. Exitium had yet to learn that destruction was supposed to give way to new life, and not more destruction. If the naive man was hellbent on continuing down the path of destruction, Exitium would soon find himself in front of barriers even he could not handle. But Mo kept his mouth sealed for all of the Gods he'd thought of. They weren't his issue, his worry. He didn't want Tenshi troubling her Angels in matters that didn't change, but to allow them to help focus on the main problem.
Mo sipped his tea, genuinely feeling bad for what he was to say, but knowing it was necessary. "Akvan. Or rather, Shinda." Mo stated, breathing heavily through his four nostrils. "I am Demon King, and therefore I can see in the dark, my eyes can pierce through even the darkest of hearts. But the problem I have with this God is that of his split-personality. Akvan worries so much over doing the right things and coating his heart with the need to care and protect others, that Shinda is allowed to hide behind this good heart, and cause chaos even I cannot accept. There is something... soulless in those eyes. And I fear for the day that we lose the God of Disease we know is righteous, to the God that cares only for the creation of nothing."
