Note: Thread takes place near the end of a final stand. Many characters will be mentioned but not used.
Mo thought of this as nothing but a scuffle. He was incredibly outnumbered, but didn't consider it a threat. Not until his magic stopped working. Mo had fled to try and check on the gem. It seemed to function, and a few moments later, it came back to him. Then, it spluttered again, and again. And Mo snarled. He thought he might have used up his power source and killed it from the strain, but, perhaps something sneaky was going on in that little pocket dimension Mo had left his daughter and the boy in. He'd used the chance, tore a hand into the dimension and grabbed Lilith, pulling her out. She had been tampering with the machine, trying to turn it off. In rage, Mo tosses the girl down towards the earth like a rock, huffing and returning to fight. His magic was working once more, but even with it, this battle seemed too long to rely on a limited magic source. Mo had knocked back many. Most suffering mortal wounds, or close enough to ones to keep them from battle. At one point, all who remained was Mo and Tenshi. But then she received back up, with enough force to hit Mo towards the ground, crashing into the remains of Baransu. Rubble and dust settled around him, Mo reverting to his smaller form as he picked himself up. He turned around to glare, attempt to turn back time and begin that little moment again, but... once more the collar spluttered, and nothing happened. Mo snarled, trying and trying again. The boy wasn't dead, he wouldn't die that easily... so the only answer was that he was resisting it for once. The small Demon growled, looking around for some help in combat, hearing the sound of wings coming towards him. He turned, only to see Tenshi alone, everyone else either heavily wounded or worse, unable to follow the ex-Queen in this possibly final assault. Mo glared at her. "There is so much more I could have done to make this world better... but you didn't give me time!" Mo exclaimed, before sighing. "All of you, so stubborn and blind... I suppose this was inevitable." Mo muttered, moving his little fingers around, summoning shadow to hug around his body like a low, imposing fog. "I won't die easily, this world still needs my help... If I go... I take you with me, old friend, as a last link to her." Mo explained, and the fight began once more, as if it had been going on for over two thousand years.
