After the blast from Mo at Baransu, Ru being caught in the fire as it hit, he went into hiding, treating his wounds and making sure he could hit when least expected. It was unfair on Kaku and his kids, but he hoped after many years Kaku would at least know that Ru wouldn't leave without saying bye, that his husband would understand. Rurushu hid out in Dranar, both a place he knew would be looked in and forgotten, someplace so obvious and in the open none would bat an eye. But his time waiting was up, hearing the rumours on all that's happened, and finally he could stand back no more. Shifting into dragon form, Ru roamed the skies waiting for Mo to turn up, covering miles and miles before setting sights on the purple figure. Breath ready, Ru sent a wave of fire at him, non threatening at first as to get his attention, and ward off the few who may be in the skies about the battle about to commence. "Why Mo? Why suddenly destroy all you once protected?" Ru hovered a little away from Mo, ready to defend himself from any impending attack. "Many looked up to you once in greatness. And now they look up to you in fear..." Ru once looked up to the king, and now he was just another backstabber in the line of those who followed the wrong path.

Mo was wondering when he should stop, and let the world rebuild itself. He'd removed the threat of Sun children, although they remained, they were slowly dying, without a home to shelter themselves in. Angels were still an issue, that Mo was having trouble thinking of dealing with. They were her first creation, which meant Angels were offspring of the Sun Goddess, just like Sun children were. But, the Dragon didn't know if he could bring himself to destroy them as well. They'd done many great things, and Tenshi was amongst them. Their race, just like the Demon race, had been abused by her powers, which led Mo to believe she no longer saw Angels as her children. It was a reason to spare Aura from attack, at least not attacks that would render them gone forever. Humans were the biggest threat, the Sun Goddess made them with the purpose of ending the world with their thirst for power, unlike Angels who were made simply to live as a part of nature. Plus their deaths meant more lands for Angels and Demons to retake, once their populations increased once more. Human souls were still going to Angels and Demons, despite Mo's attack on the Goddess that allowed such a thing. But, no matter. Once there were no more Humans left to kill off, Angels and Demons would have the chance to realise how Mo had saved their races, granted them the fundamental ability to create their own once more, now that the being preventing that was gone.
His job was almost done, Mo could rest soon. He flew for now, forgetting when the last time he'd slept was, thinking on his next attack, or rather, waiting for it to come to him. As it did, and Mo smirked as he sensed the flames come towards him, dodging them easily, grinning to the one who sent them. His successor, or rather, the one Mo had used to distract his own race from his ulterior motives. Rurushu had served as a great distraction, and he'd continue to be a great King, but... Mo had a feeling he'd have to end the King now, before he became a problem. The Dragon turned, hovering in the air, waiting for the boy to finish. "I am protecting it, and to do so, I must destroy it. Though unlike the beings of destruction that have come before me, my motives are clear, and for an ultimate good." Mo explained. "Let them look at me in fear, for now, I accept the hatred of others. In time they will all learn what I have done for them. How I've protected them from a doom they would have faced, if not for my interference. I've saved the world from oppression from the Sun above us, now it must recover... once I remove any markings she's left on these lands."
Mo sighed, moving slightly closer, although making no moves yet. "The world will be beautiful at last... I only wish you could see it, my boy. I had hoped you'd continue to lead our race into this new time... but, if you aim to stop me... then your fate will differ from what I'd hoped it to be."

Ru shook his head, it all sounded too rehearsed for him, this 'protection' method, the same as all the others they swore to kill under the same influences, even if they were different by nature. Mo just topped it by aiming for their creator, but it still meant nothing new compared to the past. "Your motives you find clear are yours alone, and just like those before you, its nothing but familiar footsteps. And I don't believe this is the ultimate good... Your doing nothing but putting fear into people, and they wont ever follow you because of it, for a while yes, but only until they can rise up. It was the same song and dance with Exitium, it will be the same as you... And you know how the dance ends, with your life, if you don't back down now." Ru took a breath, knowing his time to fight was here, he was no match for Mo, be he hoped to at least weaken the old dragon before falling. "The world is already beautiful, I've seen enough to know it can only grow as the races continue to grow, with or without your influence, you wont win, and I care not if we fight, one day you will lose, the fate you have in your head is just that, and I so hope ill be here to watch as you realise it."

Rurushu was like the others, perhaps Mo had hoped the Demon King would be willing to see things a little differently, but he only saw Mo's sins as something selfish. None of them understood, and Mo didn't know if they ever would, but they'd see the results of his actions in time. That was what Mo worked towards, he didn't care if no one understood his actions, it wasn't going to stop him. So Mo smiled, showing little signs of aggression yet. "Then like the others, you are blind to what this world has become... or rather, what it would have become." Mo replied, before sighing. "But this is alright, I did not put all of my expectations into hoping you'd understand me." He added.
"I don't expect to be followed, I don't expect to be understood, to be loved... in fact the only thing I know expect from this world is it's hatred. But, I've found solace in knowing that. It is dangerous for a true God to be loved, it is far better to be hated, when one becomes as strong as I." Mo said, pausing, then grinning. "I can tell you don't quite follow me, allow me to explain..." Mo flapped his wings, still hovering in a passive manner. "In your life time, there have been many conflicts, rising from those like me who try to take rather than share. But, in those instances, there has been a growth, a union amongst the races that set aside differences- for a time- in order to work together to solve a universal problem. In those instances, there has been a spark of this 'beautiful' world you speak of, however, it has always been short lived. As a conflict dies, so does the need to work together, and we set ourselves back into the idea of being different from one another. From there, only more conflict arises, and the cycle continues itself, indefinitely, unless something is done to change that." Mo paused, glancing to the bi-coloured skies, now blending together thanks to his actions. "That is what I plan to do... what I have already done. You are correct, as the races grow, the world will become a better version of itself. But, there is... or there was, a being out there who didn't want this growth. She feared it, and thus prevented us from growing to our potential, only allowing Humans that benefit, for the sake of continuing this cycle of conflict she's feasted on for so long. In removing her, I have made sure the suppression on our races is gone, we can make our own paths now, and grow, as you hope we shall. Humans are an issue though, I conflict with myself on whether to allow them to remain, or remove them for their likelihood of greed and need for violence."
Mo sighed once more, then chuckled, "Perhaps they deserve to live, once all this is over, as greedy as they might seem, they've shown promise from time to time. It's only their power I fear, the kind of power I now wield."
"And you are mistaken, my boy. I have already won. You can see the difference, people coming together, seeing me as the ultimate threat, a reason to cast their hatred of each other aside in order to face me. And one day they will face me, and one day, they will defeat me. I have no doubt about that. I only hope to cure this world before then, so that it may be forever beautiful, even though I won't ever get to see it that way."

Ru could understand Mo's belief, he really could. But he was still blinded by his own views, and not acknowledging the bigger picture... While yes, Ru can see the issue from the gods, Ru himself following the Sun Goddess, but only out of respect, then belief. Gods should not hold such power over them all, its why when he became King, he gave all Demons a purpose, not just those needed to keep the balance, and he followed the new Demons born, watching the growth rate, because while they themselves couldn't reproduce, couldn't grow in that sense, its not like they needed to worry about things, it was natural they way they grew, if with a few rules, and Mo seemed to take it in a stride that meant he protected his own self, not the many others. "You speak of humans as if they are the sole purpose to everything, greed, violence, our ability to no longer grow to a need that makes you believe Humans are there to end us. We all have a part to play, and its clear you cant see the bigger issue. You destroy to create, but what happens when everyone turns against you and your left alone in a new world none wanted, you think you've won? We come together to destroy you, and if you think that's winning? Then there is clearly something wrong with you. Either way you lose, death, or fear, you wont come out of this on top." Ru honestly didn't know what to say to Mo, not anything he could say to change hi mind that was for sure, but Ru wouldn't be sucked into Mo's belief, even if he agreed with some of his points. "The world is already beautiful, and its you destroying it with your anger and hatred for a being that has played a part and left us alone. You think you've destroyed her? I doubt it, your not that powerful, and it takes more then a single attack to destroy a god... I hope you remember that the next time you think you've won."

Mo didn't know what else he could say. No one would listen, but he wasn't out to make everyone agree with him. In fact, it would be best if they all decided against him, the more passionately they fought for their home, the more likely they'd continue to protect it when Mo was gone. So he let Ru run his mouth about why Mo was wrong, that he'd lose in the end, it only made the old Demon smile. He laughed, a loud laugh from his belly. "They were created for those purposes. But, I see they might be better than what she'd designed them to be. If Angels could become better, perhaps Humans can have that chance too. I'm willing to grant them the chance... should they fail... well, the generations to come can deal with the consequences." Mo replied, before grinning again. "Yes, yes I have." He repeated, incapable of seeing this as a loss. "I am playing my part, my boy. A reason for this broken world to fight back and reform into something better."
Mo sighed, looking down to his large claws, a form that was possibly twice the size of Ru's, simply by the age difference. "I am old, living an immortal life I had no choice in receiving. To die, would be a gift." He explained, and sighed again. "She has done more to this world than you care to realise, my boy. I've uncovered truths, read the ancient histories of her creation... I know what she is. Destroyed or not, her influence over this fine world has gone, perhaps in due time, as the world recovers, you'll see for yourself how much she's suppressed this world." Mo flapped his wings, pushing back a bit. "And I hope you see it, so please Rurushu, don't try to stop me now, not until my work is done." Mo added, aiming to take his leave, almost mentally begging Ru not to start something Mo would be forced to finish.

Ru knew the second Mo began to turn away this was his only chance to fight before it was too late. But he also knew it was pointless alone, Mo was too powerful against him, and wouldn't let up even on the verge of death, something Ru knew far too well. And still, while Mo held good points, knew things Ru never would, seen things and taken part in far more then any lifetime he would live, he could never agree and just follow. To just turn his back on what he promised to protect. "I once looked up to you... Made promises as a king when you gave me the power, one in which to always protect Humans, Angels and Demons alike because we were equal... That means even against you. No matter the cost." That was all he said before sending a rush of fire towards Mo and ducking down in the air to flight back up claws and tail at the ready. Pointless with the new power Ru heard Mo had, but hopefully as he gave a moment to at least listen Mo may make this an even fight. If only for the pretences of it, to prove a point, or whatever he may believe.

Mo didn't stop flying, but he listened to Ru's words. And smiled. The boy had heart, he knew about equally better than anyone, one reason why Mo chose him, and Ru was determined to fight for that equality. As he always had, either when the world regretted him, or when it chose to trust him enough to hold the scales of right and wrong in his hand, and judgement in the other. Mo nodded his head, "No matter the cost." He repeated, just before hearing the whistle of heated air, and a ball of fire skim his side as Mo dodged it. Behind him, Ru had vanished, Mo just catching the younger Drake's tail in his descent. Mo still smiled, continued to do so as he was forced to fly up, so that Ru didn't crash into him with claws and intent, able to block the boy's blows with his own, larger talons. He didn't use magic, in fact this was a fight Mo didn't plan on winning any other way then with his strength alone, not what he'd taken. If Ru should almost win, which Mo doubted, then he'd be forced to act with his new gifts, but... Mo wanted this fight to be fair for as long as possible. Ru deserved the respect to fall as a courageous fighter. So countering claw for claw, smiling as he did so, Mo looked Ru directly in the eye, catching one of his claws rather than blocking it, and using his might to toss the boy away through the skies, sending purple flames after him as he was knocked back. With that momentary distraction, Mo continued flying, now descending rapidly, hoping to take this sky battle to the ground as soon as possible.
