Note: A few years back, about 5 or so. (So Noel would be 13).
Noel decided to leave the rest of the prank to Leon. They'd eaten all those damn bananas for the sake of this game, might as well use them. But, Noel didn't really want to get in the way. He'd tripped himself up a dozen times just setting up the trap, so he didn't dare attempt to do anything else. Leon had his luck, and Noel would just rejoin him once they'd lured the guards in, and tripped them all up. Noel could help pour the honey and feathers, as he'd told Leon, but until then, he explored Baransu a little. At first, he'd made sure not to go to far from Leon, for the sake of not getting lost. But, almost as if from nowhere, Noel found himself stuck in a busy market-street, shoved around until he managed to find himself down a street he didn't recognise. Cursing under his breath, Noel looked around, and then up at the Tower, and the large impressive castle of Shiro just beyond it. Word was about that the King was starting to visit more often, he was around Baransu at the moment. They might be Demons, under the rule of a different King, but Noel kind of wanted to meet the Human King, and he knew Leon was curious too. Noel smirked, he knew with his luck, he'd miss his chance, but Leon would no doubt find himself almost walking into the royal highness. Didn't make Noel jealous, that was simply how his brother was, and if Leon did manage to meet the king somehow, whilst also orchestrating this grant prank of theirs, then good for him.
Thinking on his brother, Noel felt his skin crawl a little, wanting to go find Leon again. He summoned his wings, flying up above the houses to find that busy street he'd gotten lost in and retrace his steps from there. Noel had got pretty high, eyes down as he searched. He got a good five seconds of vision before it was covered by a body of feathers, and a small screech hit his ears as a bird that had suddenly flew into his face pecked and clawed its way passed him. In the panic of it, Noel lost his flight, also gathering a few feathers in his mouth as he fell. He slammed into stone, not taking much damage. Thankfully the harder nature of a Demon countered a lot of the grief Noel unintentionally caused himself anyway. But it wasn't the fall that was the problem, it was where he'd landed. Spitting out feathers, Noel looked around confused as a crowd of people looked at him stunned, circling him in a wide arch, as a thin line of guards kept them at bay. The treatment wasn't because of Noel, he soon realised, when seeing the other person standing there, amongst a few others, with a head of blue hair, golden spectacles and a scarred but warm smile on his face.
