Nanari made Percy two promises once, the first to keep his secret, tell none he was the missing prince and do all she could to make sure others never found out. The second was that of a promise to make sure he was kept safe from anything, she would do all in her power to make sure he never fell under the influence of alcohol or those who want to beat him up again, especially after Angus. And now in light of his execution, word spread like wildfire about the boy with the turquoise hair to be executed for crimes that weren't his own. And Nanari was faced with the biggest decision of her life, because while it was a no brainer on what she was going to do, she knew the consequences for both, and only hoped Percy would one day forgive her for her choice to keep him alive.
Nanari al but stormed into the castle and threatening the guards who tried to stop her into telling her where Blye was, no explanation, it was a saving grace that Nick came along and told them she had a right to visit him, otherwise Nanari would find herself in the prisons alongside Percy. I mean, who wouldn't after threatening the kings royal guards that she would gorge their eyes out with her own fingernails if they didn't and they would quote. 'Move the fuck out the way this instant you dim-witted mindless fools.' Each to their own really, Nanari was done playing nice. Storming right up to Blye as the doors shut, Nanari cut right to the chase. "Your son is alive but is about to be executed for crimes that are not his own. Now I love the dopey fool, and whether you help me or not, I'm not letting Percy die, so get your ass moving to Baransu right this fucking instance or you can be sure as hell that I will be, and that wont be pretty for anyone, I've already threatened your guards with gorging their eyes out, I have no shame in doing so to the guards at the prison..."

Life had been a lot of pain for Blye. Quite literally at first. He remembered waking up on a beach, in worlds of pain, but somehow alive. It took years, years to recover from the physical burns and tortures on his body, and years after that to mourn what he'd lost. Someone who's true nature, only Blye would remember seeing. He loved Emeri, even in her death, he did. What she'd done to him hurt a lot, but Blye was nothing if not forgiving. But he'd been in a rough place for a long time. The user of Time magic usually always looked forwards, always embraced his past and didn't let it control him. But, for a few years since her death, Blye couldn't focus on anything but the shame he felt for all the things he'd done wrong. He was glad to have Nick, and Kakushin and Rurushu. They practically ruled the Human race on Blye's behalf for those years of recovery, because it was obvious that the man himself wasn't fit enough to do so. He'd slowly got back into liking life. Blye still had friends, and as much as Emeri's death pained him, the world she'd once made in a timeline only Blye would know, didn't exist now. The world he could watch now was thriving, it was growing stronger, which made Blye ease back into his old self, as much of his old self as he could recover.
There were so many piles of paper on Blye's desk. Reports on trade, or farming, or weather changes, or complaints, or views on tax, to prosecutions of criminals. All lists Blye was slowly going through, just wishing Nick wasn't taking a break right now to help. But Blye's friend understood paper work even less than the King did, and Blye could swear it actually physically wounded Nick to sit down and read for so long. Blye put down his pen, leaning back and sighing, his one eye closing slowly, tempting him into a nap. He snorted awake when the door slammed open, a young woman storming into the room. Blye almost jumped, and righted himself a little too quickly, as his weak body twisted from the movement. Hissing away the old pains, Blye tried to smile despite Nanari's glare. He didn't listen to a single word, not after the word 'son'. Blye's smile dropped, and he looked into Nanari's past to make sure she was being truthful. And he stopped when he saw someone, a young man, turquoise hair, two-toned eyes...
Nanari was making threats, and the situation sounded dire, but... but Blye couldn't help but smile, and feel tears draw in his eye. "I knew he'd call himself Percy. Percival just sounds so... official, even for a Prince." Blye muttered, taking a deep breath and getting up slowly, making sure to grab hold of his walking stick, because moving hurt, and walking was just hell without it's support. "We... we have time." Blye began, giving Nanari a nervous smile, "What's my son like, Nanari?" Blye asked. He didn't look so far into Nanari's past. He stopped once seeing Percy. Blye didn't just want to see for himself directly what his son was like, he wanted someone to tell him, so Blye could live this moment himself, and he hoped despite her current temper, Nanari would humour the King a little.

Nanari knew now that Percy would be safe, and with the magic Blye had, she let herself relax knowing he wouldn't let Percy die right now. Instead she took the moment to breath, and then look to Blye. He was looking better then he had in years, and it was probably because he now knew the truth, she gave chuckle before shaking her head and smiling. "Percy is an alcoholic with a serious case of self loathing and an ability to get into fights." Not the best news to hear at first, but that is the first thing anyone notices, but she wasn't done, as she helped Blye walk, knowing he didn't want the help to heal things, as she and her mother offered in the past. "But he is kind, and pure, and hates to use his magic in fear of hurting people. And he's so amazing to be with, hated to take up ones time as he doesn't want to be a burden, and oh god, I really don't know where to begin." Summering up Percy was difficult, as he kept to his self so much, and you only see the real him once he trusts you more, its hard to categorise as well, unless you know him, so Nanari struggled to find the words, but she hoped her tone told Blye what he wanted to know, because she held nothing but love for his son. But there was something Blye needed to know, however upsetting it may be. "He knows your his father, and has been taught things about you from those who raised him, he didn't want you to know... I promised I wouldn't say anything, but I had no choice in order to save him... those who raised him are his parents, that's who he considers as his family. I need you to know this, instead of trying to force your way in, get to know him as a friend, not as a son first, don't force something like that on him. Please."

Blye did want to wonder why exactly his son was going to be executed. Obviously there would be no record of a Percival Setai-Nushi existing, because like Blye, he wasn't supposed to exist. But the King did feel his heart sink at the idea of what kind of trouble Percy got into to get this harsh a punishment. He didn't want to know, but knew he'd have to soon. He leaned on the walking stick, bright smile contrasting the tears in his eye, and chuckled at Nanari's first bit. They weren't good traits, but Blye was too overwhelmed to know his son was still alive to care. "Sounds like an interesting boy." Blye said, putting it lightly. They walked forward slowly, Blye could happily walk and talk, as they went to the closest messenger to get them to stop the upcoming execution. Nanari then began talking again, and the words were the sweetest and most welcome words Blye had heard in a while. He wanted to know so much, and every little detail about Percival just reminded the King that he wasn't completely alone, as he'd accepted himself to be. "I wish I could have helped him... To think, he had to deal with what I was taught to control, all on his own..." Blye's eye dropped, but he chuckled a little, "I don't even truly know him, but already I'm proud of him, for Percy to stay himself for this long, despite the... burden, we'd given him." Blye muttered, clearing his throat a little. He pushed on his glasses when Nanari explained how things had worked, and tried not to show the pain on his burnt face. Percy had a family already, parents of his own. and he didn't want to go back to his true one. It hurt, but Blye understood why. The only connection Percy had to his real parents throughout his life had been the magic causing him so much trouble and fear. But still, he was Blye's son, of course it was hard to accept the idea that Percy wouldn't accept him back. Blye swallowed hard, "I... I understand. There's nothing I want more than to just see him, at last. If he wants none of this life with me, then... it's fine."
Blye nodded a little after that, he was obviously upset from it, but tried to get over it. He rubbed his eye dry, then gave Nanari a look, and half a smile. "So, Nanari, you and Percy are close then?"

Nanari gave Blye a smile, before giving a chuckle. "He is very interesting, and hard work some days to convince of his worth, but he amazing all the same." And that's what Nanari thought too, how much help he could have received from, how Blye may have been able to help him with his magic from the start. But that's not how things went, and Percy may have been a completely different person if he was taught that, so Nanari couldn't really be sad for it. "His magic is uncontrolled, and temperamental. That's how he is where he is now... He also cannot control it, as he fears what he can do, but he does what he can not to use it, especially in a fight when he can. But his abilities are amazing. I have only seen a couple, and know of others. Like how he can bring constellations to life, amazing things, they have their own personalities and he did that for me. showed me that after a few words I said..." Nanari stopped and blushed a moment before continuing, this time on the more temperamental powers. "He learns everyone's history just by touching them I believe... Its a burden I cannot help with, and I know it hurts him constantly, Percy trying to remember what memories are his and what are others... Its a tough power to have, so you should be proud, he deserves it."
Stopping and putting a comforting hand on Blye's arm, Nanari gave him a smile. "I know it hurts, and will be a tough choice. But doesn't know the truth, not the full truth, he will warm up to you. He may consider others his parents now, and always will, but that doesn't mean he wont consider you it too. Percy is amazing, and still learning, his parents currently are not by blood unlike you. Give him time, be a friend, and one day, if he accepts, maybe you will become more to him. He wont want to see you at first, he will be confused and angry, but I know him, he'll eventually warm up to give you a chance." It would be a long road that, but she knew they would one day get there.
Looking down as Blye asked her if they were close, Nanari realised she told him she loved Percy, and while it was true, she never said those actual words out loud before, not even to her mother. "I would like to believe so. I met him at a tavern ten minuets into his first shift and worked out who he was straight away, it almost scared him off. Not long after, a few days at most I paid off his debt to the owner after he stole half the stock of alcohol and made him pay me back by humouring me. He's been my best friend ever since... And more on my end for a while."

Constellations. Blye smiled, and it only grew. Percy knew both Space and Time magic, and by the sound of Nanari's description, he knew both at a stronger level than Blye or Emeri ever could. It meant Blye was a proud father, but also a proud clan member. Because his son, Percy was living proof that the clan didn't die for nothing. They had a dream to make Humanity strong, and Percy was proof of their dream coming true, Blye only hoped he'd also be the light they hoped would bring a grand new future for all kinds as well. Not to put pressure on a boy Blye had yet to meet, of course, but he couldn't help but feel a little more excited.
He took a few deep breaths, brow furrowing at Nanari's description of Percy's history magic. "If it's anything like mine, he can see someone's past from merely looking at them. And... for someone who can't control it... oh Percy." Blye sighed, a sad smile on his face, "I can only imagine his hardships, all the memories in his head. I can only glimpse at another's past, for him to see it all, remember it all, it must be very hard. I am proud, but... I want to help him, he deserves much more from me than what I've given him so far, so the least I can do is try and help him control it."
Blye sighed again, looking to Nanari, smiling to her in thanks, but he did wince a little. "But, I fear what he'll think of me when he does learn the truth. He'd learn how much I care, but... he'd also see what I did. No... No child should have to watch one parent strike down the other." Blye explained, pinching the bridge of his nose. A passed on trait, that Blye had no idea his son also shared. Eventually after cradling his mind, Blye nodded. "Alright, I know. I've waited this long to see my son, I can wait a little longer to be able to truly see him." Blye explained. There was a smirk, when he asked Nanari about her connection to his son. She had claimed to love him, after all. And after listening to her side of it, Blye gave the girl a gentle shove. "And on his end too, I'm sure." Blye replied, "Believe me... if he's anything like his father, then he'll wait forever to admit his feelings."
They'd walked down to the closest guard patrol, that seemed to flinch as Nanari approached. Blye chuckled, coughing to clear his throat, "One of the messengers, could you please ask them to meet with me? There's a serious event I'd like to prevent, and it's important I do this quickly." Blye explained, they eventually nodded, marching off to find a messenger. Some Demons Blye had recruited from Rurushu, from the abundance of young Demons. They wanted to serve, and so he asked them to work for him, as messengers to work across all lands.

Nanari gave a sad smile looking to Blye, she could also only imagine the pain Percy goes through, even while seeing the torture of it in his face and even then its only a fraction of what he feels. "I've tried to find ways to help, to clear his mind or help him find methods to cope with the voices of the others pasts, reminding him of who Percy is, no matter how harsh some of the truth may be. It works for a little while, and he refused me getting yours and Sky's help on the matter." She knew one of them could do something. Sky could take away some of the memories, or bare the pain with him if only for a moment, Nanari knew she would help in a heart beat, and then there's Blye who could help him to control it, or at least to the point where its not as soon as he looks at someone, so he can pick when he does so. Giving Blye a small smile, Nanari shook her head. "Honestly, I don't think Percy will mind what you did... Sure he'll be upset, but he'll also see why you did so, something I don't think others have ever been told by you... So he may just be understanding eventually."
Shoving Blye back but giving a small smile to herself, Nanari gave a chuckle. "I think I would wait forever too." Nanari followed behind silently until they came across the guard she threatened earlier, giving a nod and a smirk, she stifled a chuckle as he shook in fear. Glaring at the guard after Blye spoke, Nanari did have one thing to add. "And yes, make sure its quick, otherwise I may just have to carry through my threat..." Stomping her foot and leaning towards him, Nanari did let the chuckle out as he scurried off before giving Blye a shrug and guilty look. "Sorry..." She wasn't, but this still was the kings guards she was threatening.

The problem with power was that it was more temperamental the more you had. Percy, he must be strong beyond anyone before him, but.. If merely looking at someone brought up so much pain, then his powers really were unstable. Blye was powerful enough to have the ability to bend time, look into someone's past. But, he could also chose whose past to look into, or chose to even forget what he saw. Blye's brow remained furrowed, and he worried even now what Percy was dealing with. Not only the stress and fear of execution, but also everything else going on in his mind. "He's stubborn." Blye stated, smiling in thought. Just like his mother, Blye believed, and he just hoped Percy wouldn't remind him too much of the boy's mother, or if so, only the traits Blye fell for. "I hope so, if what you say about my son is true, then perhaps Percy will surprise me. Maybe he'll forgive me where I can't forgive myself." Blye wondered.
He smirked to Nanari, with a glance towards the girl, looking her up and down. It was fairly obvious what Percy saw in her, other than just her kindness and care for him. Nanari seemed a perfect fit for Percy. But, then again, Blye thought Emeri fit him well, and that didn't end as he'd planned. "I'm sure you would, but... try not to wait too long?" He asked, smirk gradually fading. The guards scurried away, and Blye simply chuckled to how trained the young Nanari had them from simple threats. In only a minute, one of the messenger's came rushing over, wings and tail already showing, as he prepared to fly immediately. "My lord?" The messenger asked, holding a pen and paper in hand. Blye gave him a smile, "Please, head down to Baransu, to the main prison, and tell the wardens to cancel the execution for a 'Percival'. It's very important that he's not to be given such a dire sentence. Also, make it a direct order from the King, that the young Percival be brought up to Sora as soon as possible, and he has been completely pardoned for whatever crimes he has committed." Blye explained, listening to the scratching of pen on paper as the Demon boy nodded. He bowed, and rushed to fly out to relay the message. Meanwhile, Blye sighed heavily, "There... now we wait, I suppose. Oh... I should probably think about making some changes to Percy's room, that's if.. he wants to use it." Blye mumbled to himself, looking to the ground. It was hard to think that Percy had other parents, and another home, but Blye would just have to get used to it. His son was alive, asking for more would be selfish.

Nanari would wait forever, so she said nothing, but she knew she wouldn't be able to get over Percy easily, if at all, he had wormed his way, and she has told him as much. She just hoped Blye was right and he did feel the same way, otherwise she knew she would break. Though she gave a small nod, to show she heard what he said. Nanari gave a smile as the messenger turned up quickly, and she would make sure to get cupcakes to the guard as an apology for her threats, but that thought was short lived as Blye spoke his message, and she was routed to the spot for too long in shock and slight fear. Percy wouldn't want to be fully pardoned... He said so himself in another form, even Nanari understood why, she just needed him off death sentence as she managed to get the conditions they agreed on for him... It was too late when she was back in her own head, as she frantically looked to Blye. "Percy wont want that, to be completely pardoned... What he did.. While justified and an accident the worst part, we understand why he was arrested... I just needed him off execution... If he thinks I've come here and got him fully freed, he'll hate me more then just the fact I broke a promise to him..." She hoped Blye would think of some other way for Percy to serve his 'punishment' knowing her friend would feel better for it, but she also knew Blye may not do that... Not considering. Oh how she hoped this would come and bite her in the ass later on when Percy was here.

The messenger was already flying out of the nearest window when Nanari finally spoke up. Blye frowned, he didn't know what crime Percy did, obviously murder of some degree, or else he couldn't be up for execution. But, it didn't make the King hesitate to pardon his child. Nanari seemed to worry over it though, and Blye slowly understood why. Blye pursed a lip. "If my son was killed for the burden his powers bring him, then I should die with him, for the accidental murder of over one hundred thousand people, none of whom anyone will ever know." Blye stated, sad smile on his face, "I can't let Percy die, nor can I let him slowly rot in prison, stuck in his own world of suffering... I understand why he can't forgive himself, I don't forgive myself for many things, but it doesn't mean I lock myself away because of them." Blye said. The world would need someone like Percy, if Blye's clan was correct. And they didn't need a prisoner in a cell, but a future ruler that would do them much good, and bring much prosperity. It wasn't an entirely fair system, considering that deep down, Percy was being pardoned where others were not, but in the end, it was all for a higher purpose. And Blye was sure in the future they'd all understand. Blye gave a reassuring pat to Nanari's shoulder, "He won't hate you, I'm sure. You just want him safe, as do I. Even if it's the shock of it all at first, Percy will come around to thank you for this." Blye stated. He went off the basis that Percy was anything like his blood parents, and that he might be more lenient to forgive, if he took after his father anyway.

Nanari understood where Blye was coming from, and she wholeheartedly agreed with him on her end, but she knew Percy, knew what he would want, and to be completely pardoned for this wasn't it... Anything in exchange would be better. "Percy is not you Blye, he is his own person, he knows he needs punishment for what he has done, and a few weeks in prison is not it... Find something, anything for him to make up for his wrong doings, even if its forcing him to help rebuild the homes lost in the attack..." Nanari was thinking of anything that would be acceptable, anything that meant repaying his debt to the lives lost as she knew he would want at least that, and despite how difficult it would be for Percy, he would have to forgive himself one day, even if it meant years of hard work and atonement. Nanari gave Blye a look as he patted her shoulder, she hoped he was right, but couldn't be sure anymore. She was breaking once promise for the other, though she knew which one he would rather she kept... But she couldn't do it, and she hoped he would understand, at least from her. Because Percy was complex, and she really couldn't determine what his reaction would be. "Shock is most definitely an understatement... Especially if your right about how his magic works, and he see's your memories."

"You won't find it." Percy said, a sigh to his voice, annoyance to his otherwise terrified eyes. The fear had passed at this point. Being dragged from his cell, put in the kind of restraints a rabid dog was put in, to then have to stand there whilst those organising the execution try, yet again, to find any sign of Percy's existence. The old man's hands shook as he looked through the papers, no one was very comfortable when Percy's voice grew angry, they knew the details of what he'd done to get himself here. Shaken when Percy spoke, the older man almost squealed, dropping papers as he did. Percy rolled his eyes with a tut, at this point he was so close to begging for this death. It wasn't even public, he was just in a back room of the prison, executioners there, ready to aim a gun to the back of his head, (easiest way to end the monster without giving him the chance to attack back). Everyone in the room was restless, and Percy hadn't slept even a little since knowing his fate. He didn't eat, he didn't sleep, in fact the boy had been a shell for the last few days. Death, knowing it was coming, was far more terrifying then having it sprung on you, so naturally Percy didn't do well for the last few days. And no amount of visits could help him.
He just had to keep reminding himself that this was just his fate, he deserved this. It would clear the headache, that was a plus. Percy sighed again as this was getting no where. And, when the man finally gave up, straightened his jacket, and motioned to the executioner, the door behind them slammed as the heavy lock was lifted, and a young man came charging in. A demon, from the wings on his back. He whispered something to the organiser, who's eyes flew open even more than before. He gave Percy a good long stare, before firing a finger in his direction. "R... release that young man at once!" He said suddenly, Percy frowning at many of the words used. Then the click as after a little hesitation, his shackles were removed. Percy rubbed his wrists, more confused and scared than before. "He... he.." The old man stammered, before suddenly kneeling on the ground. "M-master Percival, I assure you we had no idea. Um.... the King claims that you are important to him? We apologise for this mix up, and well, his highness wishes to pardon you."
Percy blinked quite a few times after that, and didn't speak a single word. Not even when he was given better clothes, and a ride up to Sora. Even as he was shown into a nice, warm and bright room, and told by servants that they'd give him whatever he needed. The boy was mute, right until someone knocked on the door, that wasn't a servant.

Nanari was shaking as the messenger returned after what seemed like hours wait. Not in fear of Percy hurting her, but in fear of him hating her for her choice, she made Blye wait behind for a moment, as to get a few words alone with Percy about it, to ease him into knowing what was to come, a cup of tea, and a slice of pie she 'convinced' the guard to go and get with her. A peace offering, as well as something nicer then what he has been eating. She made sure to stay away from the alcohol, knowing that would be the first thing Percy went off looking for if things went sour, and she expected they will. Knocking on the door, a room she knew was assigned to Percy now he was back, Nanari made sure to stay calm as it opened and she gave her friend a smile. "Hey Percy... How you feeling?" She didn't let herself in, nor try to make it seem as if anything was wrong as she looked to him. "I brought some tea, and pie... I hope its alright..."

Percy's teeth clenched together, his eyes cold and hard when they moved to the door. A voice he knew well, it used to sooth him. It still did, a little, but not in this place. Percy didn't prefer the prison cell, but at least there he could be plain old Percy, having others scared of him but not knowing his bloodline. Here, Percy knew the moment someone close to the King saw him, he'd be doomed. They'd find him out, know he was Blye's son, he'd be a Prince, they'd expect things from him. No one should expect anything from Percy, it was a mistake.
Just like believing he could trust anyone with his secret.
Nanari opened the door, smiling over to him, acting calm, acting naturally Nanari. She was a good actress, other than the fact that she was obviously faking for the sake of trying to keep things calm here, not show Percy her fear about what she'd started. He was still silent, looking to her then to the tray. And Percy wanted to ignore her. A Percy from a month ago would have done exactly that, but this time he didn't show Nanari indifferent, or look too angry. He smiled weakly, walking over and lifting a cup. "Thank you." He said simply, taking the drink and sipping it slowly, a taste much better than the water from prison. "They were so close to ending me, Nanari." Percy said simply, "Had a gun ready and loaded. But, they never got the chance. All of a sudden, a messenger came along and told them to stop. Then, all of a sudden, I'm brought up to Sora." Percy spun the tea in his cup around a little, looking around the room. Then he sighed, a disappointed sigh, like the one given at the end of grieving a broken trust. "Why am I here, Nanari?"

Nanari knew Percy saw right through her, and it really didn't help as she tried to keep her composure about it. And with how calm he was, Nanari knew it was the silence before the storm, and she really hoped to survive it. Nanari gave a visible shudder at the description on how they were almost too late and she almost lost Percy, before giving him a small smile and letting a few tears fall as he asked the question she hoped would be put off a little while longer. "I couldn't let you die... Your too important to me, and I did the only thing I knew would work without getting you or me killed in the process. I'm so sorry Percy." She knew she breached his trust, that he might not be so forgiving, and she knew he would already know what she did by those few words. And that maybe he would give her chance to make amends and explain in full. "He's sworn not to force his way into your life of you don't want it. He wants to meet you though, at least once... He didn't tell the messenger who got you the truth, so far he is the only one to know..."
