Ru did not cry when Nanari died, knowing she lived a long and happy life with no regrets, and how she wouldn't want him mourning her death, but instead, celebrating her life. That's not to say he never gave her the proper burial, which he kept to friends and family, no matter how many there were. And it warmed his heart to see so many still visit her grave, leaving flowers in its wake... Nanari touched so many hearts, made so many things right that so many mourned for her, so many miss her. It was too long a wait as he waited for her rebirth into the Angel realm, both Kaku and Tenshi telling him there was no other place she would be born into, Nanari never earning or doing a thing to be born as a Demon. Ru was not afraid to admit to crying as his sister was placed in his arms once more as a baby, somewhere within him, remembering the first time it happened as a human, that ghost feel of such elation. But Ru already had two children of his own, and a kingdom to run, so as much as he would have loved to take Nanari in himself, and as much as he knew Kaku would be willing... Ru decided she would be better growing up with another, though he only had one choice, and if not them, then he really would take her in himself. Bundling up Nanari, Ru headed into the family room in Shiro, having asked Tenshi, Hane and Kaku to meet him there... Kaku for formalities, as he already knew the plan, and the others for a bigger reason. "Tenshi, Hane, thank you, I Erm, have a request for you both..." Showing Nanari to Tenshi, and letting the old queen take her into her arms, Ru gave each a smile. "I wont sugar coat this... Would you both be willing to adopt Nanari?"

Hane had paid respect to Nanari when she passed away. He wasn't new to this sort of routine, one could say only Tenshi could compare to the amount of deaths Hane had to pay respects to. But Nanari deserved a lot of respect, she'd done a lot in her life. Not only just healing of wounds, but of hearts and of families too. She brought many together. Hane thanked her for keeping him alive for those four years he'd been locked up in his own mind, and he thanked her for many other things, even recalling when she'd saved Kakushin's life all those years ago, when Exitium had left him for dead. So many things, and Hane almost drew a tear at just remembering them all. It was inspiring how much someone with a mortal life could do, that could exceed someone with an endless amount of years. He'd spent time close to Tenshi after that. Sorting out Shiro, it's many visitors and workers, as well as helping to create settlements for Humans now in Aura, after trade seemed to flourish with Blye's returning health and spirit. Being asked to go into a room to meet with the two Kings and Tenshi didn't rise much suspicion from Hane, he did so as he'd usually do, standing silently next to Tenshi like a personal guard. His face had been emotionless, right up until the point that Ru showed them both the bundle he held, and asked both Tenshi and Hane to adopt this reborn Nanari. BOTH. Hane's brow dropped over his eyes, so low it blocked some of his vision. Eyes bewildered for a moment, he looked to Ru then to Tenshi. Slowly Hane's face relaxed back, calmly thinking this through. "I have raised many Angels in the past, his majesty included. I would be more than willing to train Nanari like them, as well as act as her guardian." Hane explained, hoping things would be as simple as that, and no one would put the whole 'parent' situation on Hane's shoulders once more.

Tenshi was heart broken to hear of Nanari's passing, wishing to have a few moments with the woman to say her thanks, and she mourned for her lost with the thousands, making sure her grave would be well kept for years to come. But she knew that Nanari would be reborn Angel, there was no doubt within her mind of such a fact, and was not afraid to tell Ru that, knowing she was right. But while she mourned just like Ru and Chester she did not cry, knowing the woman had a long life that she was happy for. Tenshi did cry however at seeing her reborn and bundled, all but forcing the girl from Ru to cuddle and coo at, tears intensifying as she was asked to adopt Nanari. "Are you being serious? I would have thought that you would take her in yourself..." It was no doubt she was happy about the offer, the smile on her face taking over all else, but the disbelief was there, as she assumed Ru would jump at the chance to become the father as he basically was before. Her head twisted to Hanes though as he agreed, giving a small chuckle at his words, that would chance, just as it did with Kaku all those years ago. "But I would be honoured to take her in as my own." Tenshi never thought she would be raising a child of her own, being queen didn't leave much room when alone in raising the child.

Nanari was going to be an Angel. Kakushin knew it, as King, as as her brother-in-law, who'd known her for so long of his Angel life. He still remembered meeting her the first time, bittersweet memories of how even from the start, she'd been so caring and kind to everyone. And she loved Angels, so it was only fair that she became one herself. Kakushin left Ru to most of the caring of reborn Nanari, calling him when she'd been reborn, so that he himself could pick her up. He'd supported his love through the tears, and through the idea of passing her care onto some others. Tenshi and Hane, were the only real options there, no exception. Kakushin prepared the room for the others, then found a nice seat to sit quietly as Ru explained the situation. Tenshi cried, as Kakushin bet she would, but it made him smile warmly, get up and wrap a hand around Ru to support him through this too. "There's no one better to look after her, Tenshi. Besides, we already have two of our own." Kakushin explained. He smiled, "And besides, this isn't just for Nanari... it's for you too Tenshi. Something told me and Ru that you might like a child of your own." Kakushin added. He then glanced to Hane, "You too Hane. Keep up this 'guardian' business all you want, but your over two hundred years old now, I think it's time to consider settling down and having a family." Kaku explained, smirking to Hane, then giving Tenshi a look, the kind she used to once give him and Ru. Oh how times changed.

Ru leant his head on Kaku's shoulder and gave a chuckle, knowing his husband was giving them a look. Ru wanted no one else for this, and knew Tenshi would agree, and cry, he willed himself not to cry with her, failed, but tried. He hadn't heard about what happened in Tenshi's past, but knew a child was something that haunted her forever, and as Kaku said, this was as much for as for Nanari... Hane too, because despite what the old man said, Ru knew he would see Nanari as his own, and be as protective as he was over Kaku if not more, heaven forbid the boy who tried going after Nanari when she was older, having Hane, himself, Kaku, Akvan, Gensho and all the others go after him, and that was just the men. "Thank you, you don't know how much this mean to me, both of you. I didn't want anyone else, and I knew you would raise her well." All true, and Ru was betting one day she would be taught in combat, unlike her human self. He only hoped that she could keep up her healing though, to carry on how she once was, and knew Tenshi too would help for that to become reality. "We gathered everything you may need, blankets, furniture and such, just something to help with at first, but I'm assuming you don't really need to be told what to do, seeing how we came to you for advice half the time."

This arrangement must be more for Tenshi's benefit than Hane's. She deserved to have a child, not just in a way where her motherly instincts would make anyone young and lost her children, but an actual daughter to raise. Hane had seen that longing for family in her eyes. He didn't have it, but he did value the offer given to help raise Nanari. And because it was so directly asked of him, Hane would make a vow to do his best to raise her well, train her better then any student before, and teach her all he could. That was Hane could give, he helped the children of Aura grow, without calling them his, but caring about their growth all the same.
He didn't smile, looking to Nanari, but held a neutral expression, somewhat determined towards his new goal for the next, many years. Hane resisted the urge to glare at Kakushin. Others, even the King himself, had been trying to convince Hane that Kakushin was like his son. He'd always refuse to believe it, and the same would be the case with Nanari. No matter how much Hane might dedicate himself to the girl, she wouldn't be family. So Hane huffed, "I don't need a family, I just need others to dedicate my time to. And because you have both asked it of me, my time for the foreseeable future will be dedicated towards helping Nanari grow into a respectable woman." Hane explained, taking his gaze from the sleeping child over to the others, standing firm by Tenshi's side. "Any help is appreciated. You are right that it isn't necessary, by default Tenshi and I have the most experience in raising children of anyone alive simply from how long we've lived, but I'm sure the help is still appreciated." Hane said, stopping himself from assuming and saying things on Tenshi's behalf, he had no idea when including her in his pronouns had become a consistent.
