Emeri stood at the top of the castle, looking into the world below, finally after years of planning, things had been going better then expected, already many were wiped out, and now all she had to do was wait for the big finally with Blye, news obviously having reached him by now. She was all prepared to anger him in all the ways, make him feel pain even she didn't experience, first was the betrayal, the second was the lies, the third so much death, and finally, as she looked down to the man Blye considered a best friend, beaten to the point of pain, but still allowed fighting spirit. A specially made collar around his neck, one of her Yellow Dwarf suns in place, any sudden movement and it would burn through his throat, almost instantly killing him... Smirking down to Nick, Emeri turned back to the window, ignoring the muffles as the foot steps approached.
"Years I had these plans, ever since witnessing the death of our family and our friends. Watched as they ripped apart in agony from the world, as they no longer ever existed... So much pain... And the worst part, is I never joined them, of no. I lived through that, but not without a cost... That pain they felt being ripped apart as if they never existed, I live it every day, my body not wishing to be here, but being forced to..." Emeri turned to Blye, no remorse in her eyes, only anger. "You did this, made me live in agonising pain since that day, not even in sleep do I escape it." Even the memories of watching the place rot and burn never left, her home, her family. "I swore that day I would get revenge, years of travelling, of planning and manipulating those I needed, and finally I did what I wanted, get you here broken before I make you feel pain a thousand times worse then myself ever has. It wasn't difficult once becoming Queen, killing the Nobles, manipulating the clans, finding a second hand man in Exitium and a young girl hell bent on destroying the world like I am... They do all the work for me, and I get the pleasure of killing the man who caused all this." Emeri looked to Nick, and then back to Blye. "It wasn't hard finding your weaknesses either." His love for her, his friends, the world in general as he tried to make right his wrongs, it was all far too easy.

Actions came at a price, not even the User of Time magic could escape that. The world demanded a price must be paid for any sin, any miracle, any action at all. Blye thought he'd already paid for his mistakes, but, it all hit him now, how wrong he was. In just a few moments, everything crumbled. The world outside was alive with dancing pillars of smoke and screams of terror, as the dead rose and took the lives of anything that breathed. Blye could hear it all, and could do nothing. Doors had been locked in the castle, as he'd set out to try and help, and no one was around to talk to. He'd tried to run the moment more news got to him, that the two other Kings, they'd already fallen as well. Blye searched desperately for any means of getting out, helping, doing something to save those poor people, all of them, from the one sides massacre. He'd not connected this as being his fault, until he'd rushed into the last room he'd chosen to check, the upper level of the castle where he and Emeri shared most of their time. He walked closer, seeing Emeri standing there, gazing out over the world like it was a canvas of incredible art. Blye saw Nick next, injured and in danger, and couldn't grasp any words before Emeri spoke first. The story, the real reason why all of this was happening. Because of Blye himself.
He didn't have any words to give, no apology. The look in Emeri's eyes told the King that nothing he could say would mean anything. He glanced to Nick, hurt but not dead, knowing even going into the past by his friend's help wouldn't work right now, there was no guarantee it would change this day. "You're... you're in pain?" Blye mustered finally, voice pathetically quiet. "Em I'm so..." He dropped it, it would mean nothing now, only cause him more heartbreak. He'd thought the last year had meant something, Emeri's love for him, and his for her as well. But, she spoke to him like he was a fly that had been pestering her for much too long, there was no love to her voice when she claimed her desire to kill him. "I didn't want it to happen Em... but why... why go so far?" His voice was still so dry and quiet, "You could kill me without hurting them... They've done nothing wrong." Blye explained, although he shook at the thought of being killed, honestly afraid of death. His eyes widened with a new thought, that sunk down to the bottom of his stomach, making Blye feel ill as he dared to even ask. "Where's Percival? Where's our... our son?"

Emeri gave a scoff at Blye as he tried to apologise and his pathetic wonder why to do all this just to get to him... Wasn't it simple enough? "So pathetic." Emeri began walking circles around Blye, making sure he didn't move towards Nick as she sneered at him. "Pain, that's all I ever feel anymore, when you destroyed our lives, the time magic in me kept me from dying, but not without the cost of the pain. Being ripped into shreds like I never existed, but not actually leaving this world, you took the right to die from me that day." She hoped he understood exactly what was coming for him, but first, she had to set things in motion once more. "Pablo, see that Nick here gets his, proper leave." And by that she got to watch in glee as one of her most trusted soldiers, uncuffed Nick and flung him out the window and into the waters below before vacating the area himself, Nick wouldn't die, but he would have to work to live. Walking back so she was looking out the window, trusting in her powers enough to see any attack coming, she smirking into the glass, reflection looking to Blye. "Why? Its simple, your a boy who wants to do good to the world, make up for his mistakes... Why wouldn't I take power and destroy the world on the inside? Hindering your chance to help out... To make you suffer. Why should they get to live when my family couldn't... This was the best way to get you... Long laid out plans do come together don't they." Emeri gave out a booming laugh when their son was mentioned. Originally she only intended to fake the pregnancy to get to him, but when she really was, she knew this child would become powerful one day, and she made plans for his 'protection'. "Our son is in good hands. Protected from the fight, he must grow strong after all, with a loving mother to look after him, make sure that he keeps the world as it should when he grows." Emeri knew this would be what hurt Blye the most, knowing he could not find his own son, she had back up plans as well, Meinu, on standby for if anything went wrong.

Blye was circled like a lost and weak prey, and all this time that was exactly what he'd been, in Emeri's eyes. There was no emotion in them other than hate as she spoke, that love that Blye had all but adored in her gold eyes was gone, as if it never existed. It hit Blye even more then, understanding, that it never truly did. Emeri never loved him, not one moment had she felt that way, through any of their time together. Blye felt guilt wreck him, but fear also make his body feel weak, his head grow heavy. He was terrified right now, pathetically so. Someone came for Nick, Blye watching his friend get thrown from the window, down to the soft landing of water, but it still made Blye make a few steps forwards, before stopping, afraid to take another step. He was foolish, in his fearful state, to not use Pablo as a means to reverse things, but by the time Blye even had the right mindset to think of such an idea, the soldier was already gone.
He was left alone with Emeri, staring at the back of her head, as she didn't even turn to look his way, but gaze out the window instead. One hand, shaking uncontrollably, reached to hover over Blye's sword, an unused weapon, one that certainly wouldn't help now, but perhaps comfort Blye. He blinked out the tears as Emeri spoke again. What was he thinking? Fighting Emeri? Blye could never bring himself to do that, striking down Emeri would really kill Blye. But, by the looks of things, in this dark and empty room, the lonely King was going to die today anyway. "E....E-Emeri, please don't d-do this." Blye mumbled, hard at finding his words now, and the ones he found were just empty pleas to be spared. For once, Blye was too broken from despair and fear to think of his usually noble words. He thought of his son though, the fragile little newborn. None of this was his fault, and yet what kind of future would Percival suffer just for being of their blood? Emeri would forge him into something dark, Blye just knew it. He also doubted Emeri really loved their son, no doubt she just saw him as a tool, that resembled the one she hated. Blye couldn't find anymore words, despite how he wanted to yell. Tell Emeri she couldn't just use people, innocents that weren't connected to the mistake Blye made. Instead he stood there shaking, crying, glancing behind towards the entrance, or the windows, any escape point.

Even if Blye's pathetic begs and whines for her to change her mind got to her it was already too late, everything was set in motion and she felt no remorse or guilt for any of this. "Its too late Blye, I've been wanting this for years, and nothing you can say will stop me." The truth for once, no matter how sinister, and she knew it did its part in breaking Blye, now all there was left to do was kill him, and it would be sorted. She also knew their son was the most prominent part in this, she wouldn't lie, right now she had no care for the little one, but perhaps that would change once the need to kill Blye was sated, and she had no more goal. Looking back to Blye, Emeri let a Yellow Dwarf sun appear in her hand, letting it spin around her fingers. "Now then lets see if I have the better fighting skill around..." Emeri smirked before sending it flying towards Blye, hoping he wasn't broken enough as to not fight. "Oh and there's no way out of here, I made sure of it." Well, Pablo blocked off the exits during their chat, under the way she prepared years ago.

Too late indeed. Blye wanted to kick himself. He was the user of Time, the one person in the world that the phrase 'Too late' shouldn't apply to. But Emeri saw through that, she knew how to make him seem so weak, because she was the only person he couldn't use his powers against. He couldn't stop this now, other than freezing time, Blye couldn't change these events. His tongue was dry, breathing heavier and heavier, feeling no change to the pounding in his head, Blye couldn't talk back yet, only shiver and shake like the coward he was. He couldn't fight, Blye wasn't made for fighting, and despite her words, that killer look in her eyes, Blye couldn't think of hurting Emeri. Blye focused on what was really happening as he saw the yellow sun come at him, cowering back, and activating his magic, freezing time around him. The sun stopped, and everything froze. In the silent, Blye tried to catch his breath, looking for a long time at Emeri's frozen expression. Her eyes were alive, a beautiful bright gold, but it was painful. She'd never looked this truly happy before, and it only occurred because she was trying to kill him. Blye turned around, running towards the door and pulling, proving that it really was locked. He felt a pain in his head, like Emeri's strength was fighting his Time magic right now, trying to force time back into motion. Blye tried every possible exit, but Emeri was really telling the harsh truth. There was no way out. For a second, Blye lost concentration, just as he was behind Emeri, he heard the Yellow sun impact the wall where he'd been standing before. Though before Emeri could move again, Blye froze time once more, forcing himself to take out his sword, aiming it towards the back of her neck. But the sword didn't move, it remained still, only shaking sightly due to Blye's wavering conviction. No, no matter what might happen, he couldn't kill Em. She may not feel the same for him, but Blye had never stopped loving her. He'd taken everything from her, taking her life as well would cast away all Humanity Blye had left. With a sigh, he dropped his sword, and his magic, allowing time to flow once more. Tears fell, giving away his position as Blye almost sobbed, "I.. I can't do it. I can't kill you."

Emeri felt time stop, her mind working but nothing else. She tried to force her way out of it, watching as Blye moved to escape, inwardly laughing as he realised the harsh truth of her words. She moved the second the magic stopped, aiming back towards Blye but being frozen once more. Until she felt the sword tickle the hairs on the back of her neck, she knew he couldn't do it, otherwise things would be dark now, she laughed as he dropped, hearing the sobs as Emeri turned and kneeled next to Blye, grabbing his neck and smirking towards him, while her other hand worked on creating a small sun in her hand, nothing bigger then a pea. "I know, its what I bet on, though a fight would have been nice..." Emeri let Blye drop to the floor before holding the sun out in front of his face. "You know what this does? It burns you from the inside out, immense pain, and perfected at this size to be slow, and painful. Perfected for you, so that you can feel the pain of your body shutting down from the inside out without killing you instantly." Emeri spun it in her hand for another moment, before holding it up to his eye, before letting it travel into his body, burning the eye first. "Happy burning Blye." Emeri sat back and watched, relishing in the screams. It wouldn't kill him, but when his body begins to shut down, she was going to remove it, let him slowly die out a she does her last act.

In terms of power, yes, Blye could finish a fight between Emeri and himself before it even began. She probably knew it, but she also knew, that because Blye's heart had been so conditioned to love her, he could never hurt Emeri like that. She was so clever, Blye thought as he couldn't control his tears, so smart and perfect. His neck was grabbed, stopping the cries as he struggled to breath, looking with a fear in his blue eyes now. She choked him only for a moment, creating another sun in her hand now. The difference in their powers was right here. Blye's was passive, made to change things, for better or worse. Emeri's was to destroy what was already there, and he'd never seen it happen before, but the pain was already there in Blye's head, before the sun was even close to him. He shook still, on the ground, and unable to move, Emeri's description was enough for bile to build up in Blye's throat, letting fear freeze him like he froze time. Emeri had perfected this torturous magic so that, no doubt, Blye would experience what she felt, when time tried to rip her apart and kill her. As she moved closer, Blye began shaking his head, finally finding his words. "E-Em, no... p-please don't do this." He stuttered, trying to push himself back, but he was already against a wall. "No... n-no, no, no, no." Blye said constantly, until there was a horrible hissing sound, and the smell of burnt flesh hit his nose, making Blye feel sick, just before the pain kicked in. Burning, more than just a flame, it tore through skin like a saw, making Blye's eye all but evaporate as it hit. Bubbles formed on his burnt skin, blotches also appearing around his face and neck as it travelled down. The sun didn't burn his brain, Emeri wouldn't hit the death-switch so early. Instead it continued down the throat, drying up muscle, then reaching the lungs, causing all the air to practically explode inside, bursting and burning his lungs in multiple places. It then reached the stomach, which reacted by sending out all it's contents, along with blood out of Blye's system. Skin continued to burn, at one point Blye expected his guts to just burst open like a cracked egg. But they didn't, and the sun continued to burn along every single organ, some destroyed, others majorly damaged. Before it could end, the sun went back up, sending out waves of pain, before finally dissipating, after burning the outside of Blye's heart, which caused his body's shut down. And the screams, Emeri enjoyed them, Blye could see through his one eye. The cries and pleas, followed by blood spouting from his nose and mouth, then more screams, only ending because his lungs gave up, the screams becoming wheezes instead. His rib cage forced itself in and out, keeping Blye alive, even though inside, and probably on the outside of his blotched and burnt body, he looked dead. And he feared death still, but right now feared living even more.

Note: Short reply so that we can do the whole do-lally of things, finish off fights before hand and then have the proper fight on our hands. Last reply from Em too, so ya'll can close up the thread. Xxx
Emeri ignored his begs and let the sun enter, knowing that she had perfected this exactly how she wanted if the tests were anything to go by, and hearing the screams, watching Blye wither in pain, she knew it worked and revelled in the torture she was setting upon him, heart already feeling lighter after so long. The physical look she could see from her torture was something she would never forget, the burnt skin, the missing eye, melted around his face, it was beautiful, and she could think of nothing more pleasing right now. And when she finally let the sun leave, Emeri set her hand out to the window, letting boiling hot water pockets be formed in random succession, before looking to Blye and smirking. "Its been no pleasure the time together before today... But this is most certainly something I wont ever forget." Grabbing Blye by the throat, and using a little of her gravity magic, Emeri brought Blye to the window where Nick was pushed out and let Blye follow behind. Watching as he feel towards the lake below, body moving through the water accordingly on the way down.

When the screams stopped, there were just short bursts of breathing, each causing more pain, just adding to the bubble inside, causing the burnt flesh to coil in more pain. Blye couldn't move anymore, he could hear his heartbeat in his head, it's slow, desperate pulsing, getting slower and slower as his breathing became harder as well. One eye was gone, but the other looked up to Emeri, shattered and lost of all colour. She smiled down as him, enjoying this moment, as if nothing in her life, or nothing Blye tried to do to make her happy ever came close to this moment. He couldn't talk, probably assuming the Sun had burnt through his voice box, as well as everything else inside of Blye that made him living. He'd closed his eye, wincing as tears dripped across the burnt skin on his face, causing it to flare, listening to Emeri's muffled words. Then his air was cut off completely, Blye choking only for a moment before he was too exhausted to even do that. The pressure was there only for a moment, before it dropped, and as did Blye himself. He felt the wind around him, knew he was falling. The fall seemed to last forever, as Blye knew it would be his last, which meant he thought on everything. Things lost, things he could have saved. It all came down to his very first mistake, the one that cost Emeri so much, and now the world. If he could go back and stop himself, he would, not just so that his clan could live, but so everyone now would still be living in the peace they deserved. And that made Blye truly break, knowing, there was only one past he could save, and it wasn't Emeri's. Truth was, as painful as it felt, beyond all other pains right now, Blye could never save Emeri from her fate.
This was all inevitable, because of Blye. And he felt angry too, his death would mean all of this could end, but he could go back and kill himself as many times as he liked and it would change nothing, his magic would keep his present self alive. Like it had done once for Emeri. So... there was only one way to change all of this, save the lives of others. Kakushin and Rurushu, the kind Kings that is not for Blye, would still be here. Along with all the others lost to this act of revenge from Emeri. It all began with her, and to stop it from happening, Blye would have to remove the source. He'd have to make a sacrifice, that would destroy his heart more than today had done. Blye couldn't technically kill himself, but he knew doing this would certainly make him dead inside. But, there was no other choice, no other path that would lead down to anything but ruin. Blye had never pushed his magic this far, to travel back into the past, by his own past, and not another's. But he closed his eye, concentrated as much as he could in this free fall. And by some amount of miracle, Blye felt the splash and heat of the boiling water hit him just for a split second before it was gone.
And Blye gasped suddenly, in his pain-free body, finding himself looking down over a peaceful and standing Baransu, in the body of himself, nine months ago.
