Note: Probably not long since the whole Havok business, a long enough gap for Exitium to start making his way around though.
Kakushin flew fast, skimming past the red floating rocks of Dranar, healing wings tapping them as he flew so quick and weaved passed them. The flight had been slow at first. Dropping from Aura, aiming to update Rurushu on how the resident Kyuban was doing, any new ideas, and talking about how to help Sky and Art cope most of all with it. Kakushin's life seemed focused around helping the boy now, which the King didn't complain about, it just showed his determination to make his kids happy... and safe, around their friend. But, during the descent, Kakushin stopped to observe just below, across the mountains of Sohul. There was movement there.
The mountains seemed to move, across the rocky surface it moved like a wave. At first Kakushin thought it was a landslide, flying closer to inspect it's trajectory. But, the closer he got, the more detail Kakushin saw, and it was a sight beyond simple nature. Corpses. Living corpses, were all moving, pushing into each other, dragging along the floor, all merging together in one clump as they moved down the mountain. They walked slow, but it was the fact that Necromancy like this had never been obtained before that made Kakushin shiver. That shiver made Kakushin freeze entirely as he heard a voice. A loud voice, clear as if spoke right by his ear, "How do you like my army, old friend?" It asked, Kakushin flying up and away a bit in panic. For a moment, he sworn he saw the owner of the voice, an unmistakable voice that the King would never forget. But it vanished quickly, and not a moment later did Kakushin fly fast, up to Dranar to see Rurushu.
He turned into Kurrayami, skidding to a halt the moment he found his other half. Kakushin was breathing heavy, less tired and more just internally stressed from who he saw. Before Ru could ask Kaku what was wrong, the reason the Angel flew out of nowhere, Kakushin found his voice. "I saw him Ru... him." Kakushin stated, subconsciously moving his hand to his other, rubbing over the place his finger had been once.

Ru was in his element when there was little to do around Dranar, and people needing help with things. He felt as if it gave him a day to give back what the Demons give him by still following him as their ruler after everything. It was a day he could just relax and do something here and something there to help out, even if it meant dusting down a book shelf or cooking with some of the younger Demons that found refuge in his home. And while it was a day he missed his own Children and Husband, especially now with everything happening with Havok, it was nice to just be himself without the worry for others a bit. But that quiet day was short lived as his Husband came storming in, and before even letting Ru get a word in edge wise to what was going on. Those dreaded words were spoken, and the colour drained from his face as he excused himself and Kaku from the others gathered round, as Ru took both to his private quarters, ignoring everything else for the moment. Locking the door behind them, for entirely different reasons to normal, Ru gave Kaku a look of fear before swallowing to speak. "As in HIM, Him?" Exitium, Ru guessed, no one else would make Kaku so scared, especially as he rubbed his missing finger. Ru knew it was only a matter of time before he returned... But for it to be so soon after the last war? Their old enemy must have something planned. "Its going to be alright... I hope. We can prepare for his arrival, what exactly is it you saw?"

Kakushin couldn't mistake the voice, or the face he'd seen. It wasn't a ghost, oh how Kakushin wished it was. But he'd never joke about seeing Exitium again, that man didn't get the luxury being joked about, only feared and hated. Rurushu didn't reply yet, Kakushin lost for breath, or thought, as he just tried not to focus on what the bastard had once done to them both... what he could do now. They moved silently all the way to the mansion, to Ru's room, Kakushin walking and just brewing the dark thoughts of what could happen now Exitium was back. His eyes were a little cloudy around the edges when Ru finally spoke, the Angel King slowly composing himself enough to answer. He nodded, "He's not a face I'd forget, as much as I've wanted to." Kaku replied, swallowing hard. He laughed bitterly for a moment, "He picked a perfect time to return, the bastard." The King muttered, sighing and trying again to calm down.
But he had to recall what he'd seen, "I thought it was a landslide at first, but... across the mountains that lie a little further away than our sanctuary, I saw a... army, of dead. Corpses moving across the mountain, seemingly going towards civilisation. And.. then he spoke to me. Asked me if I liked his army, that's when I saw him down amongst them. So close to death I almost thought he was a ghost, Ru... though I wish he was." Kakushin stopped to shake his head. "He's after us, no mistake." Kaku added, before widening his eyes at a realisation, "Ru, what if he knows about Sky and Art?"

Ru knew his return would spread panic around the three realms, especially with those who know of the old King. And there was no doubt that he will be after revenge, coming after Kaku and himself, Ru doubted he knew of Sky and Art, but it all depended if he was alone with his return, or working with another, though unlikely after last time. But it sounded as if he had learnt some new tricks while away, but so had they, and from that he and his Husband were stronger as a team then ever. Dragging Kaku into a tight hug, and kissing the top of his head, Ru gave a small smile. "We don't know what he knows right now, so I cant offer false hope with anything. But we'll protect our children, and I'm sure there are others we can call to help. We can have Hane be put on watch, alongside Tenshi, and I'll get right to work finding where he is and what he's planning so we can get him first. Don't worry so much, not right now. I wish he was a ghost too, but you and I both know death isn't always the end of the line. We'll get him." Ru knew they could, after everything else they had faced together, and he had faith that the kids will be well looked after and protected, so if Exitium did happen to know of them, then they couldn't be used. "Just take deep breaths and try to calm yourself babe."

They'd been through enough, Kakushin thought. For the children to be brought into another war, their lives on the line, wasn't right. Kakushin just hoped this could be solved before Exitium found out about them. He'd been reassured by the fact that they had Havok, who was like a loyal companion to them for now, and very strong. But, it depended on how long the boy kept his sanity, what little of it was left. Then there was also Hane, who longed to do some work since missing four years of it. Kakushin melted into the hug, putting his head over Ru's chest, just hearing the Demon's heart beat quickly, but controlled. Kakushin sighed, "He's the last thing... the last bit of evil left in our lives." Kakushin muttered, "For their sakes, Ru, for our kids, I want him nowhere near them, dead and gone before he can even get close." Kakushin took a few breaths. "It's just... why did he come back now?" Kakushin asked, longing to his voice, for the time of peace they almost had, to recollect lost memories with their children, to act like just family. "The timing, so close since the end of the war. I know Exitium likes his timing, but if that were the case, he would have attacked right after, when we were weak. I'm not sure, but... something feels strange, Ru." Kakushin admitted. He'd had this ominous feeling of something dangerous coming for a while now, and even though he'd seen Exitium and his army before his very eyes, Kaku wasn't sure the danger ended here, as if what he'd seen was only the beginning.

Rurushu knew how Kaku felt, he really did, their kids had been through enough, and now knowing that Exitium was around did terrify him in case he knew. But Ru also knew that no matter what, Havok would be there to protect them, even now, and Hane, Ru couldn't even begin to explain how he knew Hane would do all in his power to keep them safe, he's proven it time and time again, suffering for it, but still willing. And they had himself and Kaku, so there was no way Exitium was getting through alone. But Ru also felt something on the horizon, something evil and planning, like this had all been planned well in advance to the reckoning. Even Sky had felt it on the end of war 'peace' and while Ru cannot find the reason why he felt like this, it has gotten more prominent in recent days. "There's definitely something else going on here. Another party involved... Exitium wouldn't have come out alone, not without some help. And I don't believe he would have attacked right after the war... This seems like the right timing for him, where we have just gained power back, but still recovering... Easy target, but strong enough that he doesn't look like he's squashing bugs under his boots. But I know, something feels strange, like all this has been planned for longer then we could ever believe." It was an awful feeling, and Ru didn't want to worry Kaku too much, not after everything, but they were the Kings of two realms, and that meant having to speak about it, no matter what Ru wished. "We'll handle him, and whatever else comes our way, were not alone in this either, we just have to keep hope."

Hane was a proven guardian of the children. But, one thing that scared Kakushin was the valid proof of just how far Hane would go in protecting others. He'd taken a shot to the head for Sky and Art once, god forbid he was stuck once more in a situation where he needed to sacrifice himself for the children's sake. For obvious reasons, that kind of situation needed to never happen again. So much to protect. Kakushin thought on the list, of his family, his people, his friends, Exitium could easily target them all. And his army of dead, slow as they were, they headed over Sohul, over populations of people who didn't deserve it. Yes they were Humans, but Kakushin saw them as something to protect now as well, forgiven of the past. It made him think, Blye could be a very good ally in this. One of the only people Exitium hasn't face, and doesn't know anything about, or how to combat the user of Time's powers. It brought Kaku a little relief when thinking about that, but his suspicion of this only getting worse kept him down and serious, Ru seeming to agree. "One thing we know about Exitium is that for all his evil, he doesn't attack without stimulus. Either it's someone hiring him to help, or having a goal in mind. He... he doesn't do acts of revenge so simply. If that were the case, we'd be targeted back when he was ruling as King." Kakushin explained his mind. He sighed, relaxing in Ru's grip, until he slid out of it. "One thing I know, is that whatever this means, Exitium's return, we need to end it quickly. Before it can become something worse, ours worlds don't need another war on their hands... it could truly be the end, if that were to happen." Kaku contemplated what to do. "My resources are so low, but I'm sure we could ask Blye for help, he has many willing, and strong allies amongst Humans who could help. We need someone to watch that army of dead, make sure they don't do anything. And then there's a matter of catching Exitium out, finding him before he finds us."

Ru fully agreed with his Husband, this was no mere act of revenge, not on its lonesome otherwise they would have been targeted by him in the war, or all those years ago. No, this was something more, something deadly, and it was coming in quick. They needed to end it before it began, but it where to start that was the problem, if Exitium really had an army of the undead, then they had to tread carefully, as who knows what else he can do... If it was anything like what he did to Ru all those years ago... But worse, then they were in for a lot of trouble. But Kaku was right, they now had Blye, and he knew he would be more then willing to help out... And Nick was still friends with many of those in the war, it wouldn't be difficult to gather their own army... "I'll get some of my Demons on the watch for now while we ask Blye.. Or you ask Blye, and I'll go find Nick, I know he has connections to those who fought, and would be willing again, and then I'll find the remaining Saints, I'm sure they would love a chance to help out once more. We also have the Clans, the Angels... Whatever is about to go down, we have people willing to help out, we'll stop this before it becomes something. And maybe it would be better if he finds us, we know he's out there waiting, and we will always be ready..." Ru was confident in their abilities, but they still didn't know what the other could do, and that was his only set back... A feeling in him was screaming at him to not believe how simple this will be.
