Eira gave a small smile to her father as she thought over his words, thinking about her own family and how lost she would be without them, but also things that are similar to fathers view... But different. "Its not always a case of having to repay them father... Sometimes its enough to just be there. I know with Draiko, before meeting you and mother... He would often just sit there with me when the others held me back from exploring, from seeing the world. I know the situation is different, but sometimes something like that is enough." It was difficult to explain, as she didn't know others outside her blood family, but she liked to think the situations were similar in some respect, enough to convince father of her point, or so she hoped. Eira gave a chuckle, she was patient, just not when her siblings were missing or hurt, then she just panicked. Hugging closer to her father, Eira smiled. "Thank you father, I cannot wait to get started. And I hope so, I haven't actually learnt anything before, not from another, not properly anyways, most was on my own... Like the signing, and my cooking." Eira did have a few sword lessons from Draiko, but she failed miserably at it, no coordination, but learnt quickly the other bits on her own, even if it wasn't very well done, hence why she never cooked, they didn't want another shelter burned down.

Of course Akvan saw a lot of things in his life as things he needed to repay others for. For their forgiveness or kindness, just general things that he'd never believed he'd deserve. He'd always look to give back something other than just love and attention, but never had Akvan known exactly what that was. Eira had some idea on what she saw as family, and it made him smile. Company, sometimes that was all a family wanted. For a moment it made Akvan think to Chester, which made the smile drop, not that Eira could see so from the angle. He sighed, annoyed how despite his attempts to avoid thinking about Chester right now, she kept pestering his thoughts, making the Sun weapon feel guilty when he was justified for being upset. It was a frustrating little war going on in his head. Akvan hoped this time with his daughter, and now getting to teach her to play violin, would help him forget that. He gave Eira one last squeeze. "Cooking? R-remind me t-to try it s-sometime then, I'm t-terrible at it m-myself." Akvan replied, slowly getting to his feet. "S-shall we head b-back? Void w-will probably worry about y-you, and I need t-to rest." Akvan suggested, offering Eira a hand off the wall.

Eira looked down bashfully as Akvan mentioned her cooking, before looking back up with an embarrassed but amused smile. "I must have gotten my cooking skill from you then father... Because the only way you'll get to try my cooking is if you don't mind blackened bird and ash from a burnt down hut..." She wouldn't mind doing so, but she didn't really want being told off again for almost burning everyone alive from a little fire and her ability to cook. Giving a nod to her father, accepting the hand, Eira gave him one last really quick hug before sighing. "Yeah, and Void always worries about me the second I'm out of his and everyone's sight, especially after my little escape. We should meet here same time tomorrow, and I can begin lessons... I'll organise it with Void while you rest so that he doesn't worry, and then maybe we can go get Aunt Nanari and her army of fluffy cats to give Void something to take his mind off things... Yasmin would lie it too, meeting another healer..." So many plans now, and Eira couldn't wait to begin, but she respected fathers need to rest, and she could only hope that things between him and mother would improve in time.
[Finished you think Jazzy?]
