No, Blye wasn't following Emeri because he thought she was acting shifty. She seemed honest about things, and especially about her dislike for Blye. He just wanted to fix it, inspired a little by Kakushin's relationship with the Demon King. Their connection made their races so much stronger, Angels and Demons treated one another like family because of the bond their leader's shared. Blye... whilst his romantic feelings for Emeri were half-buried right now, still wanted to improve things with her. It wouldn't work well for their people if the King and Queen couldn't stand one another. Blye planned to catch Emeri up in Sora, which was being rebuilt into something impressive right now. But the woman had escaped Blye's gaze. He caught sight of her emerald green hair leaving the city and moving across Sohul. Blye's only option had been to follow her, he couldn't keep putting off these talks from almost fearing his old friend and how she despised him. Floating himself in the air, Blye kept an appropriate distance as he followed. It was a hard mission, since he couldn't go back in time to take a different route in following Emeri, in case she spotted him. He could only go back in time via some else's past, so long as he looked at them. And it was already proven that none of his Time magic seemed to work on Emeri, so Blye had one shot at all this. Emeri was the King's hardest challenge, simply because he only ever had one chance with her to do right, which was hard seeing as all he'd done to Emeri was wrong so far.
Emeri travelled far. Very far. It was clear she had a certain place in mind, or else she wouldn't be going so far out of the known lands of Sohul. Blye saw some sights he'd never seen before, making it hard to focus on following the Queen. All this uncharted land around Blye reminded him that he needed to set up some exploration soon. He was witnessing right now what he'd predicted, that the known lands of Sohul weren't all that there was to offer. There was so much more to their world, that only needed to be explored, mapped and appreciated. Blye wondered, since it seemed Emeri knew where she was going, if the Queen knew about all these uncharted lands. Had she mapped them? If so, it would help Blye a lot to ask her. All in good time though, the King thought, for right now he just needed to talk to Emeri. Not as King to Queen, but as Blye to Emeri.

Emeri didn't mind the bustle of the places she was now ruling, it showed her what one day she will be in full control over. But that didn't mean she didn't miss her home, the land she turned into her own safe haven, and at the first chance she got, Emeri set off towards it. A long distance well away from everything and anyone, hidden in the mountains, and entirely her own. None knew of this place, and she intended to keep it that way. She had travelled around the surrounding land, so knew exactly what was around, and later was going to use it to help with gaining the trust of others, the raw materials, the vast areas of places to build. But she made sure these areas were away from her own, and wouldn't interfere with what she has done. Dropping to the ground, among the endless rows of personalised gravestones and flowers, Emeri took the familiar past all those lost in her past, her family, those she cared for. Each and everyone categorised here in her land. At the very top, a small cottage, built from scratch and as homely as she could make it, a small farm land behind that, everything she needed to survive was right here... All her own. It wasn't until she got half way towards her cottage did she notice the other presence, and knew exactly who it was. Forcing herself to cry, Emeri knew here and now would be the best moment to begin plans, as she turned around, arm out, small sun floating around it, pointed at Blye, and 'tears' in her eyes. "You followed me... Why? So you can see what you had us loose? Huh?"

Blye hadn't focused on where they were heading until Emeri took a turn, and just coming into view was a cottage. But, the sudden building didn't make Blye's eyes widen, it was what was around the hill. It looked at first just like scattered stones, but, nothing natural could cause such organisation in stone. Blye drew closer, after Emeri had landed and moved towards the farm, and took a closer look. There was no mistaking the sight before Blye. Gravestones, and he harboured a guess as to who they were for. Already, as he landed behind Emeri, Blye's eyes were in disbelief, widened by the sight around him. Each had a name, and many of the names, Blye could recognise. This was a cemetery for the Clan, all ten thousand members of it. Swallowing hard, Blye couldn't bare to look around. Because it was the idea that, across this hill, these littered gravestones marked the exact amount of people he'd foolishly killed. Blye had stopped following Emeri, he felt like he couldn't even feel his legs right now to move. When Emeri spoke, it made Blye jump a little, looking up to see her face glistened in tears, as well as the burning orb aimed towards him threateningly. Blye sniffed, "I... I didn't mean for any of this, Emeri. I just wanted... " Blye couldn't think of what to say, glancing down at the inscriptions on a few of the graves. They all had written on them how they died, and all of them said the same. That they were killed by Blye. The first tear fell, "Please Emeri, believe me when I say I never wanted this to happen. I'm... I'm not a murderer."

Emeri smirked on the inside at his pain, nothing but a fraction to how she feels every second of the day. And soon, he will find that out. For now, she let more tears fall, using all her skills to act this way, though once they may have been fully real, before she let the orb disappear, and she fell to the ground 'broken' and in 'anguish.' "How do I know that? You didn't listen back then, and just went on the loopy side to cause this... I watched as they all died, just disappeared as if they never existed, they went out in pain and suffering and no idea as to why. Its like they never existed and because of you they technically don't. Whether you meant it or not, you still murdered them... Your still the cause of all of this, each grave without a body... My parents, yours, everyone..." Emeri put on a good act, almost made her believe herself that she was upset. But that had died out long ago, vengeance was all she cared for now, and the way she was getting that was right in front of her, falling for the trick that is Emeri, going into a trap of lies and fake friendship and trust before she could shatter it all. "I miss them so much, and I cant even visit an actual grave to say goodbye..." Just lay it all on thick, gently apply the band aid before ripping it off painfully, it was a natural game, one she was determined to win.

Blye's faces scrunched together, brows meeting, eyes clamped shut, draining tears from his eyes like a sponge, with lips quivering. On the verge of sobbing, but forcing himself to remain somewhat in focus. For the first time, looking around at all the graves, all the lives lost because of him, Blye didn't feel like he had the right to cry for them. His tears were hatred towards himself, misery at what he'd caused, and for Emeri. Who, frankly, Blye hadn't truly understood until now. It hurt more, tugged at his heart when Emeri said herself, that she wasn't convinced that all of this wasn't on purpose. Blye sniffed, rubbing his eyes a little, seeing Emeri now kneeling on the ground. "Because I loved them, Em! I... They were all family, every single one... I just... wanted the world to appreciate them.. like I did." Blye replied, slowly dropping one of his knees to be at Emeri's level. He sniffed again, feeling the pain Emeri must feel, what she must have felt making all of these. "I.. I miss them all too, and I'm so sorry Em, you've been through all this because of me, there's... there's nothing I can do to change it."

Just where she wanted him. Emeri looked up, eyes hopefully red from all the 'crying' before she stood and held out a hand of Blye. It was now or never, and she was going to do this, no matter how much she hated to do so. "We could have done that together in time, and yet you didn't listen and run to do something stupid alone." Swallowing down the bile for what she was about to say next, Emeri gave him a small smile, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Your right, there isn't, but we have now. Would you like to come in for some tea? I think me and you need to have a long chat, get something's off both our chests." And by that, she needed to know all she could about Blye to use against him later on, and if playing happy house guest was the way to do that, then she would endure it. Turning and walking towards her cottage, a little reluctant to let him inside still, Emeri made sure to pass certain grave stones. If only to fuel his guilt and pain. "Are you coming then?"

Blye looked to the hand offered to him, blue eyes glistened now. Blinking a little, Blye slowly took the hand, getting up with Emeri. He laughed, bitterly, a hatred towards himself, but a slight smile towards Emeri. "I never learnt to listen. It's only something I discovered... since then." Blye replied, his voice going dry. Taking a deep breath, and a social cue from Emeri's change, her eyes dried and a small smile on her face, Blye also tried to compose himself. He wasn't quite expecting her to invite him inside. The King was silent for a moment, before nodding slowly. "I would be honoured. And we do... though. I want to know more, Emeri. About your past... clearly," Blye gestured around him, "The one you told me isn't true. I'd like to know the real one." That suggestion made, Blye began to follow Emeri, slowly composing himself as he followed. It was all but shattered, a few steps behind Emeri, as his sight caught a few particular graves. Two stood out the most, and they made Blye's legs get weak once more. The two names, 'Tessa Setai' and 'Nillian Nushi'. Blye's parents. Blye sucked in a breath, remembering the two bright faces of his mother and father, caring people that treated everyone like their children, loving all, including Emeri. They wanted the best, not just for the whole clan's future, but for Blye's. They wanted their son happy, despite the limitations of his choice in life. And just like smothering the flame on a candle, Blye had snuffed them out of existence like everyone else. His parents were the height of the Clan's kindness, and it hit Blye now just was kind of lives he'd destroyed. As Emeri turned to ask, she'd find Blye crouched by the two graves, muttering their names, apologising over and over. "I don't know what kind of suffering you were put through, Em. That you didn't tell me about for the sake of sparing me from pain and self-hatred. But please don't hide it from me, I deserve to feel that pain, that guilt... I'm... I mean, I don't deserve your pity, I'm just the monster.. who killed everyone, even his own mum and dad for being impatient and rash."

Emeri gave a look to Blye, technically the things she told him about her past were true, she just didn't add in all the details. Like her home, or what she did here. But the travelling and training was true. But she would amuse his small little brain, if she really needed, but not before finding out more herself. "Only if you tell me what you got up to first, and I never lied, I did travel and train. But I needed somewhere to go back to, and just missed out this little detail." Little was probably an understatement, considering the amount of gravestones to make, alongside her home. But to her, this was the minor things in her life. Turing back around as she felt Blye stop, she knew exactly what he saw, and it took all in her to hide the satisfied smirk at his words. And she refused to tell him the exact truth about how she still is in pain, every second, but she would explain what it felt like, being ripped apart from the world. "You know, I kept those most important near the front of my home, my parents, yours... I even have gravestones for both our pasts lost, it helped with the pain a little, knowing part of us died along with them all. That day was horrible... It felt as if my body was being ripped apart, but thanks to the small time magic in me, I didn't die out, I just felt the pain the others must have. You don't have my pity, it still hurts what you did. But I can see your sorry, and I'm willing to begin forgiving you and starting afresh. What do you say?" The words left such a horrible and bitter taste in her mouth, and she knew when he was gone, she would be washing it out however she could.

Little. Blye laughed bitterly. This was hardly a small task, Blye could only imagine how long it must have taken. Years, Emeri must have really tried here. Blye's eyes watered, head shaking a little. "You're so much more worthy than I." Blye stated suddenly, "Doing all of this just to respect their memory... What did I do? Hide out in the destroyed Clan lands, just hoping it would all come back to life, I'd wake up and realise it was all just a dream." Blye added dryly. He got to his feet, still staring down at his parent's graves. He brushed a hand across his eyes, sniffing loudly. "Becoming King was the only thing I thought I could do... to make sure everything they did, wasn't in vain. I want to be a good ruler for them... and for you, Em." Blye added, glancing to the emerald-haired woman, before looking away again. He winced at Emeri's description, knowing what kind of power he had, what Blye could easily use against anyone, and yet had done so against the people who meant the most to him. Emeri then suggested something: working towards forgiving Blye. Just above the frame of his glasses, Blye looked back to her, surprise on his face. The surprise then changed, into a small smile, tears falling in gratitude. Blye then looked away, across the hill of graves. "I'd say, that I love you, Emeri Ohere. For being the only one I know who'd be so willing to forgive a mass murderer like me." Blye replied, the love stressed more towards a familial bond, but even Blye felt as if it could mean otherwise, if he'd dare to let it. Blye turned at last, sighing deeply. "I'd... I'd love that tea, if you still want to talk."

There was little Emeri could think of to say without sounding bitter to the first words he said, but at the notion of forgiving him, and what he said to that... Oh, how it was all so perfect... The icing on the cake, the toppings on her master plan that would make her revenge all the more sweeter... It was just too perfect, as if the fates were wanting her to succeed. Inwardly smiling, outwardly, Emeri let her eyes widen as a small 'shy' smile came to her face, as she knew exactly what to say now. "You know why it hurt so much when you did all this back then? I loved you too... And I hated seeing what you every time I looked your way, that's why I've been so cruel, because I still feel it, and I hated that I couldn't decide how I should feel about that." Lies, all of them, but so sincere that even the most watching of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. She would say no more on that, letting Blye take the wheels on this, adding to her 'innocent' little act, she 'never' had a 'love' before, so it would work out... And even if each moment she had to pretend would be her wanting to throw up and kill him... It wasn't the first time she had to pretend like this to get what she wanted, and she could hold out until it was all perfectly aligned. Holding out her hand again, fighting the urge to pull away soon after, Emeri motioned to her cottage. "I have several different types I can make, all home grown, so hopefully it will be okay. And after you can help yourself to some of the flower in the garden for your parents graves, might give you some closure." It would be a tough road to take this one, acting friendly and god forbid loving towards the only one she truly hates, but the end result and heartbreak would be more then worth it.

Saying those words reminded Blye of when Emeri and him were kids. How he felt back then, towards the slightly older Em, who was an angel to Blye's eyes. His parents would tease him constantly about it, and put the idea in Blye's head that because of their joint roles in the future, he and Emeri were destined to be together. Blye... didn't really know if he had the right to still believe it, the feelings had never gone away, but he'd locked them deep down, considering it a hopeless thought after all he'd done to hurt Emeri since. Blye felt a rush to his face, for Emeri's words were out of the blue, and shocking. It made Blye feel guilt, and hope at the same time. Because, Emeri said that she'd loved him once.. and still felt it. He swallowed, drying the last of his tears to smile awkwardly back. "I... understand." Blye muttered sympathetically, "And.. whatever your feelings are, it's your choice, to.. either love me or hate me, for once, I'll leave it up to you." Blye replied, chuckling dryly. He pushed his glasses a little, "Maybe I should continue to leave the decision-making to you... this just proves that I'm not so good at it." Blye added, before his blue eyes saw Emeri offer her hand. He took the hand gingerly, following the Queen up to the cottage, paying the graves a few last, regretful glances. He smiled a little better this time, "I'm sure they'll be delicious, thank you. And the flowers... I will do that, not just for their graves. I feel like I need to give everyone the respect I failed to give them before."

Note: Understand Emeri hates all she is doing and is constantly trying not to be sick at the very thought of the lovey dovey stuff she's doing, but instead of me constantly repeating it, I'm going to go ahead and write as her 'innocence' disguise.
Emeri could use that, and would use that, but she wouldn't over do it, not yet, it will make the final outcome more satisfying. God how he was so gullible still even after all these years. "We'll take things slow if you wish... There's still many feelings here that are conflicting, but I want to try, I want to forgive you one day... And I normally go by instinct when making decisions on myself, so I cant promise Ill be any good at things. Its not like I've experienced it before." Yet she had, many times, much like this, using them for her own gain, it was fun, and sometimes satisfying if the right person came along. A girl had needs after all, and knew just how to get under their skin. Emeri have a laugh, fake as can be before gesturing to the garden. "I only set that up so that I could give at least one flower to every grave each year. Perhaps you can join me later? Its a long haul, so many graves, but enough flowers to last, I make sure of it." Now that wasn't a lie, the garden itself looked small, but the amount grown within was amazing, and not time at all once the buds are in, her magic being help in that respect. And while she hated to share this tradition she has with Blye, it would mean a shorter job when it comes to placing them, and will help strengthen her plans. So she would relent, for now.

Note: This reply can wrap this one up?
Blye nodded his head quick, pushing back on his glasses with unease at how foolish he probably looked, getting over-excited about Emeri's reply. He smiled softly, bowing his head a little to his friend. "Of course, I wish for whatever makes you happy, Em. And I'll... I'll try my best to help you see better of me in the future." Blye replied. "It's a good thing there are two of us... we never really did pay attention to the lessons the elders gave us though, did we?" Blye added, a little chuckle at the end. Nor he or Emeri had real experience ruling, it would just have to come over time. Kakushin had spent some time giving Blye whatever advice he could, but even he never had training for his role. "We'll learn fast, there's a lot of pressure on us now, but also a lot of allies, willing to help us decide anything." Blye stated, smiling again before slowly following Emeri inside. Blye felt stung with an honour, at Emeri's suggestion, smiling brighter. "I'd... I'd love to help! And, I know it would make it quicker, but I won't use any magic either, it... would be in poor taste to use it. But yes, I'd be honoured to help, with whatever you need around here, as well as the flowers." Blye replied, finding comfort in keeping the smile on his face now, feeling like, although tears were spent here, they were spent well to get just a little bit through to Emeri. It gave Blye the hope he needed to continue to win her back, he thought, before following the Queen into her old home.
