Note: About a month of so of searching? They travel very very far north to a place of endless winter, looking like thisEvery gust of wind here, no matter how gentle, carried with it a small blizzard, pieces of ice carried through the air to spit at their faces. Shinda had never seen such lands before, and he was a very old Demon. Winter was a cold season, but right now, it was supposed to be Spring. To this place, seasons didn't seem to matter, and the cold was endless. Thick snow covered everything, even the mountains that burst from the hard earth in the centre of these lands. Shinda was just glad Chester mentioned wearing something warm, and he'd mentally thanked her for the idea as he shivered from the cold, though not as much as he would have with no protection. He was in disbelief that they'd gone so far without a sign of Akvan, other than the piece of crystal that glowed constantly now. Shinda was near cursing the Sun child for choosing somewhere so freaking cold to hide away, but he'd done well to put up with this chill for now. The only thing Shinda didn't have a defence for, the cold. He was a Demon that originally thrived in a hot desert after all, so this was the opposite of what he was built for. The wet snow didn't offer him much cover either, but Shinda still dug into it every night to build them all a den to rest in. It had been about three days since reaching this eternal winter place, and it was bigger than they'd thought. Not just the span of land the ice world seemed to cover, but also the many ravines and mountain caves they also needed to explore. The issue was they were close to Akvan now. Close enough that the Sun crystal never showed much change as they travelled, it gave them little clues as to where in this frozen abyss the Sun child was hiding. Shinda huffed, the cloud of air he released almost immediately turning into little specks of ice in front of his mouth. "G-got to hand it t-to Akvan, the fact that h-he's left us n-n-no clues yet is incredible, not e-even one sign of d-d-destruction." Shinda commented, unless the heavy snowfall had already covered any sign of destruction. Sighing again, Shinda looked to the others for advice, three days into their searching, and they'd checked all but close to the mountains, where it was even colder, and harder to traverse.

Chester was going to find Akvan, bring him back, hug him, kiss him and then kill him again for hiding all the way out here. God she was so cold, and she hated it, the cold always meaning something bad to her, and she could feel her mind slipping into bad times each and everyday they spent out in this wasteland. It was like second nature now to feel this cold, and she envied Tenshi for being able to sleep in it, use to such weather after two thousand years. "I-I'm, Go-Go-Going to Ki-Ki-Kill him. I'm going to Br-Br-Bring him back and K-K-Kill him." Shuffling more over to Shinda, Chester hoped to share some of the little body heat they had even through the multitude of clothing... She swore she had every article she owned on, and still needed the same amount to feel some sort of heat. Chester grabbed hold of the ring around her neck and studied it, she never noticed a difference in changes now, and they basically walking blind out here, and she really wasn't sure how much longer she could last. There was only one good thing to come of being out here so far... "Hey Shinda. Thanks. I... Forgive you." She was slow to say this, not wanting the moment to be cut off from chattering teeth or such, and Chester knew very soon, Tenshi would be doing the same thing, having forgiven him days ago. "Brother." He basically was, and it was time he finally had that back from more then just his past.

All there was to Shinda was a little head of white hair, and two annoyed looking purple eyes. The rest had been tucked into the fur of his jacket, his susceptible to cold skin grasping on whatever cover it could from this weather. He couldn't sleep, the holes Shinda dug did nothing but make snow fall down his coat and make him even more cold, so he just sat looking out with an unamused look, shivering every now and then as snow came to rest on his head. Shinda heard Chester move, chuckling at her response. They'd started the search so cheery, looking forward to finding their friend, bringing him back, fixing Shinda's mistake. Now no one spoke, other than to complain about the cold. The three had at least gotten past their personal-space phase quite quickly. Shinda knew that rather than keep the untrusted Demon at bay, Chester and Tenshi much preferred the warmth Shinda gave, and vice versa. So he only shuffled a little to huddle closer as Chester moved to him, taking whatever warmth he could, and hoping they could get some sleep at least, unlike the unconscious Tenshi. Shinda's eyes seemed close to dropping, before they widened suddenly, his ears moving a little to hear exactly what Chester said. "B-but... I haven't f-f-fixed things yet." Shinda muttered back, his purple eyes getting watery, not daring to cry though, in this frozen weather. His shoulders laxed a little, being called a Brother by Chester, and the Demon made a noise. His ears moved together, clicking happily, whilst Shinda's throat let out a low cooing noise, such silly and adorable noises Shinda hadn't used in a very long time.

Chester gave a small chuckle as she buried herself more into her bundle of clothing, at this rate ready to sleep from exhaustion regardless. It was kind of cute those noises, and Chester hoped that he would make them again when Tenshi was awake, to hear that he was happy again, because there was no other word for them. "You didn't need to... You've tried, that's all I needed." And that was true, he was here, he was sitting freezing all to help find Akvan... If that didn't show how sorry he was for it all, then nobody had any chance. Besides, while he earnt it, Chester knew she would have forgiven him anyways... If Onrah can forgive her, then she can forgive Shinda. "Besides, without you... We may not have even made it this far." Giving him a small smile, Chester dropped her head onto his shoulder as she has done with Gensho so many times, another indication to herself that she really had forgiven him, the lighter mood seemed to warm her up a little, if only by ghost feelings, but it was enough. "How close do you think we are?"

Note: With this coldness, I feel like Shinda is becoming Akvan, and it makes me chuckle.
Being forgiven wasn't something Shinda assumed was just going to happen. He'd done so much wrong, and very little right. Of course he was determined to change, but he was in disbelief at thinking Chester had already gotten to that stage of forgiving him. Such kindness that the Demon didn't know existed, not for him. It made him chuckle a little, and warm his shivering body up a little more. If anything, it was taking a weight off Shinda's back. He wasn't just getting Akvan back now so that he'd be forgiven, he was doing it because it was what he really wanted to do. "H-how... how long th-then d-d-do you think it w-w-will take until they f-f-forgive me too? S-sayo and the others?" Shinda asked, a personal question he felt happy to ask now. Settling in a little, almost ready to sleep now, with these content thoughts on his mind, Shinda kept his eyes open just for Chester's benefit, she still had questions. "Very close. We just n-need a sign. Once w-we have that, it will b-be very easy to track him." Shinda replied, pausing for a moment. "There's.. also s-something I need to talk to you about, now that we're so close. I-it's very important." Shinda began, sighing a little. "I left out one d-detail about Sun Weapons, f-for the sake of keeping our minds f-focused. Sun Weapons that were created two thousand years ago still exist today, as do the Sun children inside of th-them. The only reason we d-don't see them is because they're dormant. Sun Weapons... th-they don't ever die. N-nothing can destroy one, once it's created, and the Sun child inside becomes immortal. They are forever trapped and connected to the piece of crystal, and can only appear when they h-have a master. It's... n-not a perfect method, but it's the only option for r-reviving him."

Note: Imagine all words are stuttering from the cold, I just cant be bothered to go through and try to type it all like that. xxxxx Chester smiled over to Shinda, reaching over to take his hand, squeezing slightly. "I never met the others, but over the last month, I have heard the stories on what they are like, who they were. My guess is, they have already forgiven you, knowing why you did what you did, and now your trying to correct it. And I know, that once its all over, and you finally get to join them again. Sayo and your child will be right there at the gates waiting for you, whispers of love said, the words papa or dada or something being said, your brother and sister not far behind waiting to welcome you home, because that's who they all are. Home. Rifi and his and Tenshi's child behind them, he'll place a hand on your shoulder and tell you thank you, for looking after her, before your brought into a warm loving hug. That's what will happen, no indication of the mistakes you made, just the things that you did to be forgiven for it all, just a reminder of what home is." Chester had no worries about it all, she could feel that's what would happen, and she would be damned if it went much differently to that. Hearing about the Sun Weapons, and what's entailed for them made Chester want to cry. Part of her couldn't do that to Akvan, making him immortal just to have him back now, knowing he wouldn't want to live forever, not alone, not watching friends die over and over. But she couldn't live without him, and knew he would do nothing but good in the world by returning. But oh, how the choice was difficult. "I don't know. I know my husband, and this would be a choice that even he would mull over... Living forever... Sounds like a long time... I don't know if he would want that. But yet, I cannot live without him. I do not know what to do..." Chester would have a long think over all this, find the right option, but she knew already her heart was telling her to do it, bring him back. "Sleep Shinda, I can see your tired, and I have some things to now think about... I'll wake Tenshi up in a little to take watch... She may wake you up to chat as well..."

Shinda imagined the image as described to him, at last beginning to picture his friends almost perfectly. They weren't just figures now, they had faces, their signature smiles. It made Shinda smile as well, as he sat, eyes closed, just picturing all of them. Sayo, and what his kid might have looked like. Rather than cry, Shinda instead chuckled, before opening his eyes, looking up to the clouded sky, with a few sparks of stars appearing through them. "You paint a p-pretty p-p-picture, Chester, thank you." Shinda replied, sighing deeply. "I will go home, one day. N-not just to be with them, but to put the sacrifice your husband made t-to good use. But... When I g-go, I go with Tenshi, I w-want to promise to never leave her again." Shinda added. It was a tough decision to make. Tenshi knew this detail as well, and as someone who'd been immortal for the last to thousand years, along with Shinda, he knew why his sister was cautious about this plan as much as he was. Shinda hummed quietly, "It is a tough decision. B-but... If I may give my opinion, I think he-he'd want you to do this. The last thing Akvan ever wanted t-to do was hurt you. The selfless fool would g-give up everything for you." Shinda replied, blinking a little. "You keep thinking on it, and make sure you get some sleep too." He added.
