Chester tried so hard to hold it together, she really did. But with Ru in his condition, losing her baby, Nanari too busy, Tenshi after Shinda, though she knew why and trusting him somewhat... Akvan... Akvan gone again. Gensho stuck with Yume as he recovered from his initial Kyuban drop, Hada and Labari who knows where in hiding, Zuura... Kaku... Everyone... Chester felt as if she had no where to turn to, no where she could get help. And that sent her spiralling down a path she promised to never go down again. Flying off now peace had been made was easy, none took in the Demons flying around, or the disappearance of many, not after the loses... So sneaking off god knows where in the world, to a random cliff side in the middle of isolation was no hard feat, and knowing no one followed was enough to know she wouldn't be stopped. Sitting down at the edge of her drop, Chester took out the dagger she carried with her, staring down at the cool metal as well as her wedding ring. The latter mocking her with its glow, with the life it seemed to hold [[----- Have to put here, yes its glowing and Chester has seen that, but too far gone in her head means she doesn't understand what it means -----]] it killed her inside, knowing what she has lost, what she keeps losing. She just couldn't take it anymore, she just wanted to be with Akvan, and if death was the only way the spirits were going to allow that was by being together in another life, then so be it, this time, she will follow. Standing once more, Chester held the dagger above her stomach, ready to bring it down so that if the fall didn't kill her, then the bleeding would. "I'm coming for you Akvan." And the dagger fell down.

Sohul stank with far too many smells. Aura and Dranar were so distinct that it was easy to tell one scent from another. But, flying over Sohul and searching for someone was, in Shinda's opinion, impossible. So, he went to his old tactics. Like a Demon bloodhound, Shinda raced across these Human lands with his nose to the ground, running on all fours, which felt comforting after standing up for so long. He and Tenshi were doing as planned, looking for Chester. Now that Shinda had rested up, and had a living body just full of energy that he wanted to use, they began the search. It wasn't a happy expedition, Shinda at least was borderline terrified of where that wife of his friend had got to. What kind of state she was in. He knew time wasn't on their side, so relentlessly ran around after whatever scent he could. Starting from back in the swamplands, Shinda raced across mountains and forests after the faint smell. Tenshi followed in the air, she wouldn't be able to match Shinda's running speed unless in flight, but it at least gave them two different viewing points to find their companion. His sister also had the satchel of scrolls and notes too, and Shinda was heavily relying on Tenshi to know what to say to Chester, because the Demon sure as hell wouldn't know where to begin. Shinda's hardened claws didn't even show any sign of wear as he ran, despite how long they'd been searching already, and he didn't even consider resting right now. Something in the air felt off, so the Demon didn't plan on stopping until Chester was found, no matter how far across Sohul she'd gone. Eventually, the faint hints of her scent began to grow stronger, fresher, and Shinda ran faster. The dense forests he'd been traversing finally broke out into rock, and a huge ravine cut through the land before them. Shinda stopped, perched on his back legs as he inhaled the air before him. His eyes darted right, in time to see the faint figure in the distance. He rushed closer, the figure becoming more defined until Shinda was sure it was Chester. What made his run turn into a feral sprint was the glistening of something silver in her hands. A dagger. The Demon instinctively snarled as he ran, not stopping until he was practically upon Chester. And as Shinda reached her, his tail immediately moved forward to take action. It happened in a flash, but Shinda watched his wicked tail in almost a slow motion, aiming it perfectly to connect with the dagger, twist it and wrench it from Chester's grip, all without so much as grazing her hand or stomach. The dagger was caught between the two spikes of Shinda's tail, and there was silence for a moment, other than his heavy, deep breathing. His breathing turned slowly into a low growl, "Are... are you fucking crazy?" Shinda panted, relaxing his arms and tail a little, and glancing back to Tenshi as she also approached. "We made it." He stated over to her, a clang as the dagger dropped to the floor, along with Shinda's tail, "We made it." He muttered again.

The second they found Chester, Tenshi knew what was about to happen, she had been there before, in the exact same way Chester was, and she too was lucky enough to have someone come and find her. Tenshi headed straight over, bringing Chester into a huge hug, not letting go and petting her hair as she cried, Tears leaking from her own eyes. Dropping the satchel on the floor, Tenshi gave a small look to Shinda to remain quiet for now, before closing her eyes and speaking. "This isn't the answer. I would know, I've been here. This very spot perhaps, so quiet and empty, the perfect place to join them again... I know how you feel, losing those you love, feeling as if you had nothing left, wanting to do all you can to join them again. It doesn't hit until a few days later, when everyone is so busy dealing with the after effects. Its silent, and you feel as if you can turn to no one, dropping to levels you never expected from yourself just to end that silence. Like I said, I know. When the war all those years ago ended, when losing my mother and sister Sayo caught up to me, the things my father did, when Iruka and Sakana were lost, when Rifi and my child were killed. When the fighting was over and you had a few moments of rest, things creep up inside untl you take a way out of it all. And you lost him twice, I can never understand that feeling, but I know what its like to lose." Tenshi took a moment to breath here, let her words sink in to not just Chester but Shinda too, this information she hadn't even shared with Mo before. "I ran from the celebrations, took nothing but a small knife with me, told everyone I needed air, and wasn't seen for days. It was the seventh day when I worked up the courage, said the goodbyes I needed to, wrote letters and everything, before standing upon a cliff and letting the tears fall, a rolled up bed sheet in my arms, cradling the baby I lost even if it was nothing but a ghost, ready to puncture a hold in my throat and fall. One of the first to lay their weapons down found me, took me in her arms and muttered soothing words, telling me how I could do more good in the world, help to fix the pieces lost. And even now, when I hold a knife in my hands, see a mother hold her new born, I cant help but think back to that... Your not alone in this Chester. War does things to people, loss does things to people we cannot ever undo, but we can forgive, we can move on and try again, become something from this. Watch as we help others forgive their mistakes, work to gain back trust and hope." Here Tenshi moved back a bit and dried Chester's tears and her own before showing Chester her ring, hand shoved in her face so she could see. "This is your beacon of hope, Akvan wouldn't want this of you, there's so much more, so much you don't know. Look at the glow, he's out there somewhere, not truly dead because you wont let him die, because he doesn't want to leave you behind, we just have to find him."

Purgatory had been a harsh place for many reasons. More than the loneliness, and the drawn out feeling of self-loathing and regret. Shinda also had to stand there, and watch those he cared about grow. Some of them died off, age taking them away. Tenshi lived though, and through the first half of his time in that eternal hell, Shinda had spent it watching her. As she spoke now, comforting Chester immediately, with words and a story even the Demon hadn't yet heard, it brought back memories. Things he'd forgotten, for once willingly, about his sister here. Shinda sat down, watching on quietly, his heavy breathing getting lighter and lighter. When Tenshi had finally finished, Shinda sighed, "I took all of those things from her." He admitted to Chester, an obvious truth, for the Demon was known for stealing things from others. He looked to the ground, "I killed Tenshi's loved ones... our loved ones, out of hatred and rage. Just.. just like I took your loved one too. All I know how to do is take away, make others suffer, until it hurts beyond repair... even when I know that pain." Shinda added, shuffling to his feet. "Sayo was my everything, a beauty and a light beyond compare. I'd give up the world for her. Losing her... turned me into that thieving monster." He said, words hissing as he spoke bitterly towards himself. "My punishment was two thousand years alone. I... I watched Tenshi try to do this, take her own life. It was the worst I'd felt since losing Sayo, seeing before me the 'fruits of my labour'. If it wasn't for the evil taking over my soul, watching my sister and screaming for her to stop would have been the point of my own journey to earn forgiveness, to change things." Shinda didn't look at Tenshi until he'd finished, only glancing to her to offer a small and weak smile. "Your husband, that brave friend of mine, freed me from that evil on my soul. He refused to give in and helped to cure me until it meant his own doom. He's given me the chance to fix things, give back some of what I stole." Shinda stated, tail flicking a little. "I'd like to begin by bringing your loved one back."

Tenshi gave a small smile over to Shinda, it was the first step, admitting his mistake, how he felt about it, and standing to say how he was going to fix it. She knew then that one day she would fully forgive him, possibly sooner rather then later, and that she could at least for now trust him once more. "I trust in him now Chester. I want you to trust me in that. The past war was a mess caused by my father when he killed my mother and Sayo simply because my mother knew and Sayo was that of a Demon. Shinda spiralled in a different way you and I did when we lost our loved ones, and was condemned for that, killing those he loved as he killed others. Sakana, Iruka, Rifi and my unborn, all killed by that tail of his, if not for healers getting to me in time, would have been me as well." Tenshi knew at some point she would have to explain it all, and she would to Chester, and for once, she would understand the other side of the war from Shinda, it may finally settle old ghosts that seemed to keep coming back. But this information would do for now, they had a long journey ahead of them, and plenty of time to talk, if Chester did join them, which Tenshi knew she would. "Now then Chester, how do you feel about hunting for this Husband of yours, we need you, that ring there being the only reason he is alive... There, a lot to explain about how this is going to work, if at all, and there's no guarantee it will either. But we have a chance, and I want to take it..." Tenshi had no worries now, Chester was nothing but stubborn and determined, and if there was even a chance, she knew the other would take it.

Chester broken down once she was stopped from being with Akvan again, but as she listened to Tenshi and Shinda, she knew what she was doing was nothing but a grief filled move from losing her beloved again, and Chester finally allowed herself to cry over it all, into a shoulder of a friend who knew her pain. Chester could feel for her, losing so many in such a short time, and Chester hoped that one day her ghosts would be healed over... And if not by herself or from Shinda's help, then Chester had a long talk with Hane in order. She felt a small smile light up her face as she looked to the ring, finally actually seeing it glow, it meant his soul was still out there, and with that, Akvan himself. She knew it wasn't going to be easy, such a small hope, but she held hope when he really did die, that he would return... This time, with him actually out there, Chester had no worries, not anymore, and if Tenshi was helping, she knew he would be found, at least long enough to say an actual goodbye if nothing else. Stretching her back, Chester wiped the tears from her eyes as she addressed Tenshi and looked to Shinda, still a bit wary, but a small smile upon her face none the less. She would trust Tenshi, after everything, she had no reason not to. "Thank you, and I'm sorry for what you have lost as well, both of you. Of course I'm in to do this, any hope is enough for me." It was short and sweet, but she hoped it was enough, she didn't want to address her previous actions, not really understanding them herself. Turning to Shinda slightly, she did have one thing she had to say. "Shinda... Understand that I'm trusting Tenshi right now, you having done nothing but give me reason to dislike you. But if what you say is true, and Akvan made a friend in you, and with Tenshi here, I am willing to give you a chance. Don't think this is me forgiving or trusting you yet though, that's something you have to earn. But to start, you can explain exactly what we need to do to save my Husband." One day she would, and she was sure it would be the same day as Tenshi, if not longer, but a chance is something she always believed in people, so she would give him one.

Shinda smiled back to Tenshi. A true smile, at last, feeling the connection to his sister strengthen a little more. The journey was still a long one, but the Demon was getting closer to his family again. And when he looked to Chester, she was already showing improvement. Her loved one was out there, and the hope could be seen on her face. It made Shinda relieved, and he shuffled over to the others a little more, stopping comfortably next to Tenshi. Shinda watched Chester turn to him, head shrinking a little into his shoulders. But, her words made the Demon chuckle a little. "That seems only fair. And thank you... one chance is all I need." Shinda replied, before sighing heavily, "Hopefully." He muttered, before taking the satchel from Tenshi. He'd get right to explaining, time wasn't going to be on their side for any of this, so Shinda wanted to start the search as soon as possible. "Sun Children don't just fade out of existence, they are the pure essences of the Sun Goddess. In a way, they die when she lets them die, which I assume is after they've accomplished their purpose." Shinda began, before bringing out the scroll, carefully unravelling it to reveal ancient words, and images of suns or figures. "They were documented the moment they appeared two thousand years ago by Angels. But it was Demons, specifically myself and companions, who discovered the first crystal. We had no idea what it was, other than the power from inside of it. Desiring that power, we broke the crystal, unleashing the Sun Child from inside. It attacked, but was easily defeated. But, even after destroying the body, the soul still lived, and still attacked us. I took a piece of the shattered crystal, and then found out that not only does the crystal act as an egg, it also can act as a cage for the Sun Child's soul. Easily, the soul was captured into the crystal, forming the very first, Sun Weapon." Shinda explained. "However, the savage method Demons came up with for capturing these Sun Children was sloppy, and I can promise you, force will get us no where other than dead if we try it on Akvan. The longer a Sun Child has been allowed to live, the harder it is to capture their soul. The Angel's method is therefore, our only option." Shinda added, before taking a breath. "The only link we have to Akvan is that piece of crystal, it glows brighter, the closer to his soul we are. Other than that, we're blind in our search. To make sure it isn't completely impossible to recover the Akvan we all knew, we need to act as soon as possible. I'll explain exactly how the capture works once we have a lead, sound alright to you two?" Shinda kept it short as possible, explaining some points, and would probably be assisted by Tenshi as well. But for now, it would do. Explaining the cons of a Sun Weapon could wait for later.

Chester knew there was more to this then Shinda was telling, but she kept her mouth shut, he didn't look as if he was refusing to tell her, but just waiting for the right time, and she would trust that. Especially if time is of the essence to save Akvan, and it didn't look easy to do, especially from such a small part of the crystal. But Chester knew they would, all three of them working together. Nodding slightly, Chester looked to the ring before muttering a soft sorry Akvan and removing it to tie around a small piece of leather she had around her neck, so that all could see it with ease. "Sounds good to me, but we cant just go hunting without supplies, I would know, especially if we don't know where this search will take us. We need to head back and grab some things first, like warmer clothing for you Shinda, and I'm assuming you would want to quickly check in on Hane before disappearing Tenshi, who knows how long we will be gone." Chester knew of the feelings Tenshi had for Hane, and with how things had gone in the war and Hanes condition, Chester knew deep down Tenshi would be worrying, and as she knew that feeling well, she wouldn't hold her friend back. "If need be, I'll grab some stuff for you with Shinda, and you go check on him and the others. God knows how Shinda wont exactly go down well with them... No offence." Chester didn't mind looking after him for a few hours, but she would be weary, and she knew he would understand.

Chester raised a good point, they couldn't just go in what they had, especially it how far the search may take them, it was a big world after all, and a time limit, so they couldn't exactly travel back often to just restock. They would need all they could get on the first run. And Tenshi was about to suggest heading to Nanari for it before the mention of Hane, where panic set in... Complete justified panic. "No, no, no, no, no. I forgot, damn. We got to go, I have to get back...." She totally forgot about Hane's condition, and she knew Nanari used the totem... And with Kaku on the crazy, and Tenshi running after Shinda... Dear lord, he was left alone to slowly die. Oh god, she had to get back. Tenshi left no other explanation as she flew towards Minato and back to Hane hoping she wasn't too late and that Nanari was doing all she could. How could she be so stupid as to do that? Chasing the past when it was clear he was doing something, and not focusing on keeping her friend alive. "Don't worry Hane, I'm coming." Tenshi knew that she would have an explanation to explain, not just to Hane when he awoke, but Shinda as well... If Chester didn't give away all her secrets before she got back.

Nothing about this would be easy. It was basically committing a sin against the Goddess by stealing her child from her permanently. And this was her final one, so Shinda knew that stubborn Sun bitch wasn't going to make it easy, just like Akvan probably wasn't going to make it easy either. Chester was on board, and although Shinda was obviously keeping it quick, she still seemed satisfied. The Demon nodded to her idea, he certainly needed something to wear. He'd grabbed some cloak from up in Aura, some sort of librarian's coat that was old and rotten in places. It wasn't something Shinda would keep on for long. Warm clothes were definitely needed, since cold was Shinda's only real weakness, in terms of his natural ability and strengths. "We can all fly, so it would be just clothing. I don't think maps will help much, but anything like that would also do something at least. Food, I can hunt, not as well as I used to, but we won't need to worry about that either." Shinda added. Chester suggested something to Tenshi, making Shinda scoff a little. "None taken." Shinda replied, sighing a little. He'd need to disguise himself really. Not because he was just a Demon, but because Shinda was a monstrous looking one. He went to add something, ask Tenshi a question, but all he got was a gust of wind, feathered wings almost hitting him as Tenshi rushed away somewhere. It left the Demon in shock for a moment. ".... So," Shinda began, awkwardly looking to Chester, "Who's this Hane?"

Chester would pack a bit more then just clothing, a few extra supplies she knew they would need. And some food, she didn't want Shinda doing all the hunting, and while she knew a thing or two about it herself, she knew they still needed more then meat to survive. But the supplies wouldn't be too much, and most of it easy to carry. Smiling a little as Shinda scoffed, she was kind of glad he took no offence, Chester didn't like being mean for no reason, and with this small faith she put in him, meant she had no reason to be. The smile dropped as Tenshi spoke, and the circumstanced settled in, as Chester knew exactly what she meant. But held no fear, she was sure she saw Hane out and about, and if not, Nanari would have kept him alive, she was sure of it. Looking to Shinda, Chester gave a slight smirk at the question, knowing he would know little of the Tenshi they had now, and her relationships with people. Looking to Shinda and gesturing up to take flight, the two took a gentle fly back, Chester not worrying too much right now about rushing, Tenshi would be going no where for a while, and Chester wasn't about to drag her away. "You have missed so much... Hane is Tenshi's 'friend' and fellow immortal as long as either she or Kaku are near by, the sun goddess bringing him back I believe, I never got the details. But its clear to see that after so many years, she finally has found someone else she can love... Despite not acting upon it, and both being in denial... I know, I can see it. Its painful to watch." Chester wasn't going to act horribly around Shinda, it would help no one, but he would be able to tell when she really opened herself to trusting him, and considering him a friend. "Its nice really, from what I have heard today... This is the first person she has ever shown interest in since this Rifi... I can tell she's probably scared to lose someone else if she acts upon her feelings, and knowing Tenshi, probably feels as if she's betraying Rifi in a way, even after two thousand years."

Shinda couldn't remember this Hane. He couldn't hear in Purgatory, and up until Akvan had been forced in, Shinda had been sleeping. He could vaguely recall people that Tenshi kept close, when sharing a body with the Sun child, but it wasn't enough for Shinda to picture a face. The Demon's wings pushed him up along with Chester, giving her an innocent frown as she explained things. Another immortal, just like Tenshi was. That was enough for Shinda to go on, as to why Tenshi seemed to connect to this one. The only being just like her, unable to die, and able to spend his time with Tenshi, time she longed for. Shinda's eyes looked down a little, he wondered if Tenshi thought about how Rifi would feel every time she went to this Hane. Did she feel guilt, Shinda imagined she would, putting himself in her shoes. It was hard, the tragic loss of one love was hard to replace. But, Shinda smiled a little. If Tenshi had truly found someone to love again, then it made the Demon feel a little better, like his sister hadn't lost everything yet. "Tenshi's relationships are always painful. She's just so... Tenshi about these things. Watching her and Rifi be all awkward had been a very painful process, even when I was too young to even know what love was." Shinda commented back, smiling a little. He hummed a little, "I can see where the guilt might lie. But, she can't betray her heart as well as Rifi, it would never bring happiness. Besides, if I can remember my friend, Rifi would want her to be happy. Love can only grow, it doesn't die or disappear... all three of us should know that." Shinda added, gaze moving away, that was something Akvan had reminded the Demon of. And Shinda thought back to the wise words as he followed next to Chester.
