While Ari had managed to get back home a little more often, Yume having seemed to soften up a little after her own mission that allowed the last break, it wasn't nearly as much as Ari had hoped. She honestly did try her hardest to get back, knowing that she needed to be with her family, with those she loved and cared for... The extent of being away for so long due to mediocre reasons having finally got caught in her brain, but it was difficult, she wanted to help, and with the Saints more active then ever, Ari couldn't exactly abandon her post now, though she didn't hold back from blaming Yume for this, whatever her personal mission was, made things worse for everyone. Looking over the information some of the others have gathered, Ari gave a groan of annoyance, whatever the Saints were planning, they were being far too secretive with it, members throwing them off the scent of their attack, popping up at the most random of places at the most random of times. None could keep up, not even Yume, and that was saying something. Shaking her head clear, Ari headed outside the Temple, hoping fresh air would help... The second they worked out what the Saints were up to, Ari would be out of here and back home for a week, needing her family more then ever right now. And she knew her day wasn't going to improve when she heard the foot steps behind her. "Gash, not in the mood to be told about my human life again right now. Okay?"

It got harder and harder for Gash to ignore Ari as she spent time here, even if he knew she was with someone else. That human life he so suddenly lost but remembered always playing on his mind in mantra, reminding him of her. Of course he still flirted with everyone, doing such a thing second nature, but just like all those years ago, he had yet to do so with her, knowing that she wouldn't let it continue as it once did, and yet, here he was, watching as she left the temple in annoyance, face twisted in that way so familiar did his resolve break. As he followed his old, and only love, because he did, flirting was great but it never added up to being with Ari, outside, in a hope to jog her memories of what they once shared. Smiling, Gash stood next to her, body twisted to face Ari, tucking a stand of hair from her face. "Dear one, I would never in times like this, not while you can see the annoyance bunch up your features so wrongly. Besides, I have little more I can say that you don't already know my beautiful ice flower." Gash could no longer hold back his thoughts, he must make her realise, must help shoulder the burden she has from helping these efforts. Gash had done little for the war, besides provide shelter for those that remained, but even he knew when such things become too much, and his assistance was required. "So tell me, how may I be able to help?"

This was the one thing she hated about Gash, his need to remind her of the past, once upon a time she would have loved to know, having asked many and getting the basics. But Gash knew it all from memory, even things she didn't, like what they apparently once shared. She could understand that this was something he remembered vividly, and how he wished to remind her personally of that, but, she cared not any more, she had a new life, a new family, to the point where she stopped looking for even her brother. Gash was a great friend, but she knew he wished for those days back, and she could not give them to him. Especially now he seemed to take that past in stride, and go back to who he is with the others with a clear purpose this time. Taking a small step back, Ari gave Gash a small smile. "Gash, don't. I understand we had history in our past lives, but it wont be like that with this one. I love Mizetto, and my girls, I wont give them up for anything, you must understand that." Ari didn't want to have this conversation with him, she didn't want to hurt him believe it or not, but she knew she would, if only to get him to stop, to move on. Dropping her shoulders, Ari gave a huff. "The only way you can help, is if you manage to convince Yume to let me go home to my family for a little, its draining being away from them." And it really was, she didn't know how long it had been, but she could count the days on the fingers and toes on her body, and that really wasn't many.

Gash really disliked this Mizetto, for getting into her heart before he could see her again, if only they never met, then maybe he would have had a chance, it was even worse knowing that their children were biological, something unheard of for the races. But he wouldn't give up, even if his efforts were forever shot down by the one in question, Gash would try. "Of course my dear icicle, I would never force such a thing. I merely would like you to understand what things once were, and how they could be again." Dropping his gaze as she stated how he could help, even Gash knew that was something he could not give, he wouldn't mess with Yume on a good day, especially now after this mission that went sour. Taking a breath, Gash brought Ari into a hug, chin resting on her head, holding tight, knowing she would be trying to push him away, hell he could feel her doing so. "I can help you deal with that drain, you wouldn't even feel it after a while, promise." Gash could help her forget, if only for a while, nothing terrible, knowing it wouldn't be something she allowed, but he's helped the others when they felt the strain, taking them out to see the gardens, showing them the history of the Taiyo Clan, it was always soothing, and cleared their minds due to the serenity of the area.

Mizetto began to trust Ari again every time she left, but not a day later he was worrying again. He'd count the days, and he knew the girls counted too. Each night he heard them mutter to one another about how they worried, or how many days mummy had been gone. It was painful to hear, as was the pain of sleeping alone, staring off into nothing as he thought about Ari. What she was doing, if it was safe enough, and if she'd return soon. She'd never promised an exact day to come back, only saying it would be 'soon'. And after a while, 'soon' was getting close to a month. He wasn't going to take it. Honestly, Mizetto wanted to know she was alright, and for the kids sake, he wanted to go and find her. Drag her back to them, or at least tell the girls some story of how well their mummy was doing, kicking ass and all. So Mizetto planned a trip to leave and find her. To the Taiyo clan, where Angels were kept safe and provided them with a base of operation. Clue and the old men were with the twins, keeping back Terra especially who wanted to come along, and was determined to escape to do so. Unlike some, Mizetto planned to get back to them as soon as possible, so they didn't last too long without at least one parent to support them right now. But Mizetto kept his anger under wraps. He and Ari had made up the last times, and Mizetto didn't want to be irritated every time he saw his one and only. Baransu was a town familiar to Mizetto, only thanks to the Mun clan. So finding the Taiyo clan was a little tough, especially getting through the Human streets without being discovered, as a lot of the thug-life here knew of the blonde Demon boy who used to beat them up each visit to the city. Keeping quiet and on the outskirts of town, Mizetto eventually made it into the peaceful and safe district of the clan. The place was so quiet, and it honestly looked like a piece of Aura cut out and placed in Sohul. No wonder Angels liked it. Looking around only a little, Mizetto headed to the Temple, hoping Ari was inside and ready to be whisked off, since Mizetto didn't care for the consequences he'd face for taking her. He felt like he was being a good partner, giving Ari a physical reason to leave, and he walked with a slight smile on. The smile smashed into pieces at the sight Mizetto met, the guy wrapping himself around Ari. She looked to be fighting it, and after hearing what the man said, Mizetto fists clenched. They'd soon feel the ground shake around them, cracks in the earth forming around Mizetto in a circle of overflowing anger. "Get the fuck off her, now." The Demon growled, summoning some of the earth to his side, floating around Mizetto in the old Iwa magic fashion. Once he had their attention, Mizetto couldn't help but glance to Ari, a bit of hurt mixed into his burning golden eyes. "Ari what... what is this?" He had to ask, distracting himself for a moment from the sick creep standing next to her, whom Mizetto was ready to turn into Angel pulp.

The second Ari was brought into the hug, she began fighting it, but exhaustion was taking over, and she didn't have the strength to push him away. She should have known he would try something like this, having done so in a similar context with others the past few months, but she stupidly didn't think, even if she's ignoring everything he was saying, in favour to hopefully dislodge him, now she really would be talking with Yume to get away for a bit, and she wouldn't take no for an answer. But, the ground shaking wasn't a good sign, she knew that type of magic anywhere, and the voice that surrounded them, luckily, the shock was enough for Ari to push Gash away and get some space between the two. As she let herself calm and looked to Mizetto. She knew he was pissed, and probably thought the worse right now, even if it wasn't, fixing things in a way he believed her would be tough after everything, but she would for him. Smiling to the man she loved, Ari began moving closer, arms wrapped around herself. "Not what you think, I was trying to push him away..." It was hard to find the right words to say, and she gave a sinister glare to Gash in warning for him to say nothing right now, knowing he would just make things worse, before turning back to Mizetto. "What are you doing here though? Are the girls okay? You didn't get attacked on your way here right? Oh god, please tell me you didn't, this is Human territory right now..." If he came here, it was obvious how he came down, and that was a terrible plan right now, Ari only ever travelled in the dark, or hitched lifts with human members when she could for safety, she hoped he remained safe, he looked it, but with him you never know.
[I'm thinking we have a couple of replied just between Arizetto before having Mizetto bring Gash into the convo?]

There was nothing good Mizetto could gather from this situation. Ari was letting the creep hug her, but he didn't look like a complete stranger to her either. The ground slowly began to stop shaking, but Mizetto still kept the pieces of rock floating around him nice and sharp and ready. Mizetto was growling quietly to himself, his mind beginning to build up to the belief of betrayal. Ari had been gone for months at a time, and here she was being hugged by someone Mizetto didn't know. Who was there to say that this wasn't the reason Ari stayed away so long. Mizetto's throat clamped up a bit, finding it hard, and horrible to believe that Ari would do that to him, to the girls. He calmed his breathing down, though his knuckles remained white as his hands were clenched. "Well you weren't trying very hard." Mizetto muttered bitterly, glaring from Ari to the creep. Ari tried to changes things up, act worried for Mizetto and the kids. The Demon couldn't keep his eyes off the stranger, glancing to Ari with accusation in his gaze. Finally Mizetto answered, stepping a little closer himself. "The girls are fine, they're with the old guys and Clue. And I'm fine... I was fine." Mizetto answered. He thought getting here would be the most threatening thing, but seeing this was even more so. Mizetto lifted a hand silently, sending one of the sharp rocks towards Ari's companion, letting it stop just inches from him. "Now explain things, who the hell is this creep?"

Gash watched with a blank expression, not sure what to think right now. On one hand, he felt bad for causing this, he knew how much Ari loved Mizetto, she near spoke about him and the girls everyday, whereas on the other hand, perhaps this is what he needed to win her back. Not that he was purposefully would be out to cause her misery, not in the slightest, but this may be of help, if he played his cards right. So keeping his mouth shut while they spoke was the best plan, that was, until Mizetto sent the rock flying towards him. Gash never flinched, knowing the other would yet to try anything, but again, he wouldn't put it past the hot headed Demon. Reaching up, Gash moved the rock from his face, flicking it to the side as it covered in ice, before taking a few steps towards Mizetto. "This is no way to treat or talk to a beautiful iced flower, no matter how sharp and deadly they may be. And I will have you know I am no creep, I am a respected Gentleman around here. The name is Gash, an old 'friend' of Ari's here, back when we were human." Gash didn't like this guy at all, so he wasn't exactly going to treat him with respect, though he would hold back, just to say that he never started anything, because the way things are going, he knew something would. "Are we going to have a problem here? Or can we continue like civilised people?"

Mizetto hoped he could keep the creep quiet for a little bit whilst he sorted things out with Ari. But the Angel man had other ideas, trying to warm the tepid waters even more as he walked closer to Mizetto. The Demon growled, such a contrast to how this annoying creep announced himself, but Mizetto couldn't help the rising rage. "I didn't ask for the name, creep. I don't give a damn how respected you are, shut the fuck up." Mizetto replied, feeling an itch of hate with every feature of this other man. From his speech to his use of words or his old relation to Ari. The ground shook a little again, Mizetto taking a few of his own steps towards Gash. He didn't have anything on how tall the other one was, but Mizetto wasn't a child, he didn't let differences make him back down anymore. Mizetto huffed, "Yeah we're gonna have a problem, it's called you. Now back off or be crushed." He growled, glancing to Ari. She damn well better no interfere this time, he was close to getting a lot more angry at her as well for all of this. some of the rocks around Mizetto floated in sharper patterns, getting agitated just like the magic user was. "Don't try to play the gentleman, you creep. I can tell exactly what you want with Ari, so stay the hell away from her."

Mizetto's temper far exceeded whatever he thought it to be, but that made things all the more fun, and while any impending attack that was due to come, Gash wouldn't defend or retaliate, if only to keep his name clear from the fight. Ignoring the ground shaking, Gash sent a smirk over to Mizetto. "I have done nothing to warrant anger from you, so why will there be such a problem?" Gash let his gaze follow Mizetto's, as he gave a small smile to Ari, knowing exactly what was going through everyone's heads. He wouldn't stop though, Gash had every right to say what he thinks. "What I want? There's many things I want from Ari here... Her friendship back, the old human relationship we shared, for her to smile, to love. Nothing but pure happiness for my dear ice flower. And if this is the way you treat her, then I will not rest until I know she has something better then some anger ridden Demon who has no trust in the one he supposedly loves..." It was a shame really, as he smirked over to Mizetto, he wasn't lying either, he really did want Ari happy, and he knew she wouldn't have that Mizetto, not as long as he didn't trust her. "I'm offering to give her that love and happiness, well, give it back, as its been a few years away."

He might be an angry mess, but Mizetto knew a guy's intentions well enough, him being one. But in no world would he be like this creep. Trying to get with someone who didn't want to be with him, or how Mizetto hoped it was. Ari would get Mizetto's grief later, unless she explained her intentions well enough. This wasn't the first time she'd not told Mizetto about someone in her life, and Mizetto was beginning to wonder if it would be the last. How Mizetto wanted to slice a rock throw Gash's throat, cut off that whiny noise now before it made Mizetto drop another realm down. But he needed to prove that he wasn't all violence, perhaps parenthood taught Mizetto that breaking the things that made him angry wasn't the best way. It was the easiest, but nothing was ever easy anymore. "What about the way you treat her? Trying to force someone to love you isn't somethin' a friend does, you creep. You want to make Ari happy? Then stay the fuck away from her, stop tryin' to make her be with you. Askin' her to leave me, and her kids like that? Like you really fuckin' care." Mizetto growled, keeping his eyes solely on Gash. "You want yourself happy, not Ari, like some selfish brat. Why don't you grow up and remember what you are. You ain't Human anymore, this is a new life, you can't just steal back the old one."

Gash smirked, he seemed to have hit a nerve with Mizetto, and he wanted nothing more then to laugh at the drabble that he sprouted. "I'm not trying to force anything, I'm merely trying to have her see what she could have. And I never asked her to leave you or especially her children, I would never ask such a thing, nor imply it. And I care enough to want something more, I mean, look at you two. You have no faith in Ari, no trust, how long have you been together now? Years? Have two children together... A family. And yet you have made her wait for something you never give her, making things official... If I was in her place, I would see you as someone not wanting to commit, an easy get away if something better comes along, no stings attached right?" Gash gave a laugh, head tipping back, head shaking in disbelief. "I haven't been truly happy in a long time, I really don't care for it anymore. And I know exactly what I am, who I am, and I never stopped loving her, think me selfish fine, but I just want Ari to be happy, its obvious you cant give her that, I see in her eyes the want for something more, something permanent... New life or not, its nothing more then time, and we have plenty don't we?"

He didn't like that fact that Gash had an argument to combat everything Mizetto said, it was just this creep's voice, how he talked about things as if his opinion was the only one that matters, that he kept back-tracking to cover himself, done so perfectly that it was hard to notice. He was a villain playing the nice-guy, and it made Mizetto want to crush the bratty man like a bug. Mizetto snorted, "Says the guy that was embracin' her against her will before I got here. Makes me sick to think what you'd try to do if I didn't turn up." Mizetto grumbled. He tried to amuse himself about how quickly Glacie and Terra would break Gash if he tried to force his way into Ari's, and then their lives. Unless Gash's goal really was just Mizetto's partner, then he was even more sick. Keeping his thoughts on that question he'd yet to ask Ari to himself, Mizetto simply growled. "Like I need to give her some stupid ring to prove that I love her. I trust Ari with everythin', that's why I don't need to give her that to make her mine, it's... it's her choice to be with me or not." Mizetto stated, looking to the ground as he spoke. His words were truthful, but he still felt like they were a little forced. Mizetto shook his head, feeling a loss of what to say. "Then you're insane as well as creepy. Stop lettin' that past life mess up this one, and stop tryin' to destroy somethin' that you have no right to destroy."

Gash would never have tried anything more, not without permission from Ari. He may still love her, but not in the way that he would force her to do anything against her will, not ever for any reason. Cocking his head to the side, Gash smirked over to Mizetto once more. "I was only offering her comfort in time of need, I wouldn't have done anything more, and wasn't your words 'weren't trying very hard'?" Gash wasn't going to let anything slip though the cracks, he would break Mizetto slowly, and without the others realising it, as he said, he wont physically fight, but words were always another matter. Staring down at the other as his gaze dropped, Gash let his voice take on a harsh whisper, so that Ari did not hear his next words. "And yet, here you are accusing her of cheating on you, of abandoning everything you built, everything is crumbling right around you, you don't see her pain. Poor little Mizetto, scared of commitment that he wont even ask his girlfriend of years for something she obviously wants. No wonder you guys are falling apart." Taking a step back, Gash folded his arms, eyes taking on a glint. "Creepy? From what I've heard, Ari always has wanted to know and get back her human life... And I'm not destroying anything, you've done that well enough yourself."

Mizetto wouldn't truly admit the reasons he didn't ask Ari. Even after Takeo told him to, Mizetto hadn't let the thoughts make him panic again. That he didn't feel worthy of that, some tiny little Demon like him. Or that he didn't want to force love onto Ari. Whether she wanted it or not, making someone wear something that basically granted you ownership of them, in Mizetto's opinion, didn't seem right to him. He and Ari had something special, they had a family and a connection between one another. Or at least that was what Mizetto thought. Gash seemed to push at the subject, and in turn, it pushed at Mizetto's buttons. Swallowing his denial, Mizetto lashed out finally. He took one swing at Gash whilst he was still close enough, before growling again. "Fuck yeah I'm scared. So scared that I don't even know what to fuckin' do anymore." Mizetto admitted. His gaze lowered, "If Ari's so hurt that bein' with me isn't workin', then so be it. But I sure as hell don't want someone as amazin' as her endin' up with a creep like you." Mizetto took a sigh, lowering his clenched fists. Back from his truthful words, to thinking in denial, Mizetto glared up to Gash. "I don't know what the hell you're talkin' about." Mizetto commented, knowing he'd tried his hardest to keep things together, not destroy. If Gash was still talking about relationships.
