Chester had been confined to house arrest at Nanari's, her sister banning her from searching for her husband due to the baby and exhausting herself to near pass out if not for the others dragging her back in time. The kind loving healer sensing each time Chester tried to sneak out the house. It was lonely without Akvan around, and she grew more worried each and everyday, war making things much worse fro her worries, and more then once did she have panic attacks that caused more harm then good. She was glad Nanari was such a great healer, even with her current issues, or Chester might be very ill right now. Currently she was curled up on the sofa at Nanari's, eyes glossed over with tears. Said host was tending to Hane, and Chester hoped the old man would wake up soon, he had so many in worry for him, Kaku, Ru, hell, Tenshi was in a right state over his coma, and others who cared for him were just as worried... How he would complain about having too many worry about him when he woke up. The slight call of her name from outside made her jump, really not expecting it, most were walking on eggshells around her at the moment, in fear she would snap over losing Akvan again, she didn't recognise the voice, but for the last month she barely recognised anything. Sighing, Chester bundled up a few blankets and covered them around herself before heading to the door to see who it was... The last person she expected... Eyes widening, Chester dropped the blankets and went to hug her husband, tears pouring down her face, she briefly remembered shouting to Nanari, Akvan's condition being noticed first off all. But right now all she could see was Akvan alive in her arms, and back. "I love you... Oh gods I love you so much!"

Note: It's likely Akvan is pretty beat up, bite marks and scratches and all that. But he long forgotten to care about such things xD
It felt so weird, just waiting for someone to arrive and see him, being around this street. The world was at war, but those with simpler lives still went about their business. Minato was quiet, but there was still noise. Akvan didn't know he could crave something so simple as noise, any living sound. Purgatory had none of it, you could only see the living world, not hear it or feel it. Right now, this all felt like a dream, a precious dream Akvan made sure to remember every second of when he needed to go back. Akvan was already crying, so the beautiful sounds causing his relief didn't add to the falling tears, only giving them more purpose. There would be no stop to them when someone finally came through the door. Akvan quickly took his hat off, feeling it drop to the ground when Chester ran to him. He wished there would never be a reason to let go again, as he held onto Chester with careful grip, but loving determination to keep her near right now. "I'm sorry!" He mumbled, face hidden as he wrapped around Chester. "I'm s-so sorry for leaving! I-I tried so hard to leave.. but he wouldn't... oh Chester I m-missed you so much." Akvan began claiming, before moving back a little to look properly at Chester's face. "I'll al-always love you." He muttered, kissing her softly before turning to look inside. There was so much to say, and whilst Akvan's heart was overwhelmed with the emotions he'd longed for all month, it was also painfully aware just how little time he had with the others.

[Nanari I've decided will be NPC for two, maybe three replies before leaving the two to chat.]
Chester dried into Akvan's shoulder shaking her head at his words, it wasn't his fault, and he was back now... he came back, that's all that mattered right now. "No, no, no, no, no. Not your fault. Just shut up about it and let us get you some help before anything more." Chester wanted more then anything to know what happened, but his health came first, for now she dragged him into Nanari's sitting him on the sofa and cuddling up to him, looking over the wounds he received, though they didn't look that bad, Chester knew better then to believe that. Nanari had come rushing down the stairs in hearing Chester's shout, her own eyes welling up with tears when she saw Akvan sitting on the sofa, rushing over, Nanari gave her friend a hug before joining Chester in looking over his injuries, she would get that done and out the way before anything else, and let Chester get time alone with him before anything more was asked, it was only right. "Its going to sting a lot Akvan, but I'm going to heal these wounds, none look too bad considering, your recover fully within a few days." Hovering her hand over his heart, Nanari poured the magic needed into him, focusing on nothing but in the time being. Chester let Nanari do her thing as she pushed Akvan's hair from his eyes and left small kisses on his face and neck, just glad to him here, whispering words of how she missed him, Tears still pouring at the overwhelming heat that she could feel from his body. "I missed you. Never stopped looking, and only did because the others forced me to, everyone will be so happy to hear your okay and alive." It was all so much, but worth every second of having him in her arms.

It would be Akvan's fault that he didn't come back sooner. Because he could have asked sooner from Shinda. Though, he doubted it would have made as much of a difference. The Devil might have been less inclined to let Akvan leave if it was earlier on. Which made Akvan dread the thought of how long the next fight would be before he was allowed to return. He'd not think of that, not until it was moments before he had to return. Akvan smiled a little, nodding his head. Though, Akvan wasn't sure what help he needed. Sure, to others who didn't know what the month had been like, Akvan was just covered in wounds, but to him, it was nothing. He'd stopped caring about healing the smaller wounds long into the fights, only ever focusing on healing the worst ones, like the poisoned cuts. But, it wouldn't hurt going into the next round all patched up. He refused to let go of Chester, even as they sat down. Only freeing himself up when Nanari came in, realising how much he missed her as well. She looked a little weaker than usual, and Akvan wasn't aware of why that was. He took a deep breath after listening to Nanari, trying to make sure he didn't tear up when she mentioned 'a few days', like Akvan had that kind of precious time. "Thank you... and I've g-gotten used to these kind of w-wounds, they are n-nothing compared to, others." He mentioned, before trying to relax. The pain hardly tickled, Akvan pretty numbed to it all now, and he only opened his eyes to lean more towards Chester, kissing her cheek. His expression was forced to harden then, as in his mind Akvan knew he couldn't wait until the last second to tell them he had to go back. It was better to explain everything now, with time to spare for them all to contemplate it. He didn't want to bring bad news just after returning, but there was no avoiding it. "I-I've missed you, a-and everyone so much. But... I n-need to e-explain wh-what happened, and wh-what is going on." Akvan began. He sighed, "When Shinda u-used his magic, it t-took me to a pl-place called Purgatory. A pl-place between life and d-death. Shinda w-was there, the real him, and he d-did nothing but force me t-to fight him for a month without r-rest. He w-wants to, e-escape boredom, and al-also wants r-revenge on me. He also s-said that he was r-responsible for s-starting the war." Akvan paused, letting the information sink in before he explained the real shattering point. "He'll m-make the war, and e-everything, so much worse if I-I don't continue to f-fight him. I only g-got out because I pr-promised to return and f-fight him again. And... and h-he only let me leave for a c-certain a-amount of t-time... I'm s-so sorry... I-" He stopped, looking apologetically between Nanari and Chester. "I... I h-have two hours b-before I have to go back."

Nanari finished up healing what she could as she listened to Akvan, a frown filling her face, both for his, and Chester's sake. But this wasn't something she would comment on, instead, she finished up and kissed Akvan on the forehead, giving him a sad smile. "Just stay alive, and when you get out, come back here and I will patch you up right away." Giving him one last glace, and a sad smile to her sister, Nanari headed back upstairs to Hane, leaving the couple to talk amongst themselves, if he was really only here for a couple of hours, then Nanari would give them all the time alone together as she could. Chester felt more tears pour down her face at the revelation of him only being back for a few hours, and what he would have to go through for who knows how long at a time. She wanted to kick and scream, make sure he didn't have to go back... The war had already begun, how Shinda could make things worse she didn't know... But she assumed that's why Akvan was willing to go back, so they don't find out. Tightening her grip around her husband, Chester buried her face into his neck so he couldn't see her face. "Don't die, I cant lose you again. If you don't come back... I'm following." It was the maddening truth, one many knew already, cause Chester couldn't do that again, not ever. "And we'll have to make these few hours count, rest you up so its not as difficult to fight next time." Chester gave him a shaky smile, it was easier like this, pretending it was more like a game and trying to calm Akvan before having to fight once more.

Who knew if two hours was a generous time limit, only time would tell as the fights carried on. If the time got less, then Akvan didn't really know how his willpower would hold. Because it was obvious that he was hurting those he loved, even if it wasn't Akvan's fault exactly. And the crushed looks on their faces made Akvan feel horrible, and his determination would lack because of it. Nanari spoke to him first, and Akvan reflected her sad smile. "I w-will, and th-thank you Nanari... I've, a-always relied on you, h-haven't I?" He muttered, watching her go. Akvan moved a little when Chester buried herself against him, taking deep breaths as he tried relax as best he could. Hard to do when he couldn't stop crying, but Akvan still tried. He stroked a hand down her hair, listening to what Chester muttered with a pained expression. "I p-promise you, I-I won't die. Sh-shinda and I a-are so evenly matched that it shouldn't b-be hard to stay alive." Akvan replied, not really believing his own words. Yes, he could handle Shinda's attacks, even at close range now due to experience. But, Shinda wasn't meant for fair fighting, and Akvan knew more than to expect the fights to continue down their stalemate path. He sniffed, wiping away his own tears, and then Chester's, when she came up with the simple plan. "I don't d-dare fall asleep... h-haven't slept in a month, and I-I fear how long I'll be n-napping if I do." Akvan commented, on a hopeful, positive note. He returned Chester's smile, lifting her closer to him for a better embrace. He wanted to remain quiet for a bit, simply enjoying the warmth of his wife next to him, and making sure to remember it for the tough times ahead. "Y-you'll stay safe too, right? H-here is the best place f-for you right now... I-in Purgatory, I-I can s-see this world, but only s-see it. So, I'll know i-if you g-go wandering off, o-ok?" Akvan asked.

Chester trusted Akvan to stay alive through all this, he had a surprising amount of luck, and he was good at what he does... She knew he wouldn't leave her, he made a promise, and so far, he hadn't broken any. But she didn't trust Shinda to play in a fair fight, and that's what had her the most worried, if she could join him, she would. She leaned up to give her husband a kiss, trying to stop herself from crying, he would be back, and she didn't want to be crying in the time they had together. "I promise I wont go wandering off, I'll stay right here where you can see me, and if you need it, remember even if I cant see you, I'm silently cheering on." It was the least Chester could do... And Minato was the safest place during this war right now, Nanari's especially, she's made a lot of friends over the years, Chester doubted anyone could get close to the house if they weren't known. Looking up to Akvan, Chester made herself comfortable leaning on his chest. "Go to sleep for an hour. I know you probably want to stay awake, but ide rather you have a little sleep before having to go back, I'll wake you up..." She wanted him to be fresh for the next fight to allow little problems, or less problems then if he hadn't slept at all, she was content with listening to his beating heart for now.

Shinda did attack with the intent to kill, hence why he didn't hesitate to attack with that poisonous tail of his. But, even that Akvan could defend himself from now. And, there was enough proof for the Sun child to believe his blood was also built to be hardy, and Sun children were by nature tough. Akvan had already survived, what could only be the worst injuries of his life. What Shinda dished out, Akvan knew he could recover from. And he'd keep recovering and keep fighting until some sort of end was made. And Akvan was determined to survive beyond the end of the fighting, knowing there could be only one way to solve this chain of battles Akvan was stuck in. He'd have to defeat Shinda, kill the Devil, and hope that allowed him to leave Purgatory. Akvan nodded his head, "Good... a-and, I'm sorry about this whole th-thing. It's all b-because of me th-that Shinda i-is having his way, and i-it's my f-fault that you're alone. A-as soon as I can, I'll leave the fight again." Akvan replied. He didn't want to fall asleep, but also couldn't help but collapse down further into the sofa. If it was only for an hour, then it might be alright. Besides, these few hours weren't about helping others exactly, but letting Akvan calm himself down, to relax in the comfort of his wife. Then, refreshed, Akvan could return to the fight with a better chance of success. He kept a hold on Chester, all while Akvan's breathing slowed, and his eyes just dropped shut on their own. "I-I love you.." He muttered, before falling asleep almost instantly. ~~~~~ It wasn't exactly a peaceful sleep. Short as it was, it had a clear nightmare envisioned into it. The nightmare was a memory of what Akvan had already experienced, seemingly endless fighting, around a world slowly becoming red with destruction and death. His eyes jumped open to a sudden voice, as Chester must have woken him up. Akvan quickly calmed himself down from the dream, moving to sit up. The nightmare forgotten, Akvan did feel a little better, even with such a small nap. He smiled a little, "S-short but sweet, thank you." He commented, before looking around the room. Akvan's smile weakened, "I-I don't have long left. A-and I wanted to h-help somehow, with, anything." Akvan added, before looking upstairs. "W-who is upstairs? Nanari m-must be looking after s-someone up there?"

Chester would Akvan more then anything in his time away, fighting for his life. She would be worried constantly for him, but would not show it, if only to make sure he knew she had the utmost faith in him to win and come home. "I know you will, you always come through when its needed. Just stay safe okay? Now get some sleep." Chester kissed the top oh Akvan's head as he fell asleep, stroking his hair and humming back 'I love you' to him closing her eyes and just basking in his warmth and life while he got some shut eye. Keeping back the tears. It wasn't until exactly an hour later did Chester wake him up, calling his name softly and kissing his forehead, she could see the pain in his face from whatever he was dreaming about, and wanted him peaceful as can be at this moment as soon as possible, away from his demons for a little longer. Giving him back a small sad smile, Chester followed his gaze to the stairs before getting up herself and helping Akvan up, giving his hands a squeeze. "Hane... He got attacked when trying to help my niece and nephew... He's holding on, but barely... Better then most though, there's only a handful of Angels left..." It was a lot to take in, but she felt it was needed to be said before it was all explained around Hane's harmed body. "I can feel diseases trying to settle in, its more terrifying then the amount I can feel from those who have been wounded badly in this war already."

Akvan just wished of all the times he could have been around, it was as Aura was attacked. The Sun child could have done so much to stop it, prevent the attacks, heal the wounded. But Akvan was away, he wasn't even in Purgatory, but stuck in his own world of panic to prevent him from doing anything. When he should have done something, and before he got the chance to redeem himself, Shinda took him away. Now it was far too late to help Aura, or the Angels lost there, all Akvan could do was pray for the safety of the ones who'd survived. Akvan looked up to the stairs when Chester explained it. Hane was the one injured, and he knew diseases as well as Chester, knowing it must be bad right now. Akvan's free hand clenched, feeling guilty for all these injuries to his close friends and family, and knowing he didn't have time to solve them all. There was only so much Akvan could do in the short hour he had left. "I-I must be able to help, somehow." Akvan muttered, mostly to himself. He glanced down to his hat on the side, before silently removing the Sun pin around it. He glanced to Chester, knowing she might just protest to what he had planned, before going for it. Akvan held tight onto the pin, letting magic glow around his hand. "Maximum Amicus." Akvan muttered, knowing only by instinct what Amicus' strongest form could do. He didn't hesitate to part with the precious magic, knowing it would only keep him weakened for a little while, in which Akvan was sure he could just keep Shinda distracted with close combat or something until it came back. Taking a few breaths, and making sure he wasn't made dizzy by the use of magic, Akvan looked to the small pin, now glowing slightly. "Done..." Akvan gasped, taking a few deep breaths. "I've put all the healing magic... I-I can into this p-pin." Akvan explained. "Chester, y-you and Nanari should k-keep this s-safe. It only works once, s-so use it under only the m-most extreme emergency. I c-can't send my healing magic over, s-so this pin is the n-next best thing. It should, i-if I did it r-right, heal a-all wounds on s-someone. I-it's up to you and Nanari who i-it's used on, Hane m-might need it, but I c-can't predict what the f-future will bring... also, i-if Hane d-doesn't have h-his totem anymore, th-this might help him r-remain immortal if kept c-close." Akvan paused, letting the information settle in, before passing the pin to Chester. He smiled sadly, "This i-is all I can d-do... to h-help."

Chester went to stop Akvan, already knowing what he was planning to do to help, but resorted to watching in tears instead, knowing her efforts were futile. It would be hard knowing that Akvan couldn't heal himself in Purgatory anymore, or as well as before. Each second made Chester cry harder, just the thoughts on what this means making her upset, and she swears if Akvan dies from this... She would never forgive herself for letting him do this. Chester listened with closed ears, a ringing taking place instead, but slowly and reluctantly took the pin from his hands, before flinging herself around Akvan's neck and burying her face in his shoulder. "Your an idiot you know that... You need this magic more then the rest of us. Nanari and Tenshi are keeping Hane alive, and we have a couple of other healers, however limited knowledge working as well. You don't need to do this... Just keep yourself alive will be enough." Chester knew anything she said wouldn't waver his decision. But she hoped he understood that he was helping already. "Your fighting Shinda for months on end to make sure the war doesn't get any worse... That's enough for anyone." Chester moved back from the hug, wiping away what tears she could with a sad smile, looking to the pin and trying to work out where to hide it. She would probably find a way for Muchi the cat to keep a hold of it... The little thing terrified of everything, and often finding the best places to hide in emergencies... Plus, he's friendly with all the other cats Nanari looked after, so if they fail to help, they most certainly will. "You do realise we will probably end up using it on you when you get back anyway right?"

Akvan could survive with out healing, his body was tough enough to survive without magic all together, letting the Tower be an example of that. It was a risk, Akvan had no idea what kind of wounds Shinda would try and give him, but it was too late to just go back. Akvan glanced slightly to Chester, pained by her new tears, knowing how she must feel about this. But, Akvan gave himself no choice, he wanted to help those here, give them one thing that would help them and keep the Sun child's heart at ease. He braced himself for Chester, soon adjusting as she hid into his shoulder, placing a hand over her head. Akvan chuckled dryly, "I know I-I am, you've r-reminded me plenty of t-times... B-but, this is something I have to g-give you all. Tenshi and Nanari can heal, b-but at what c-cost to themselves?" Akvan paused, taking a deep breath and resting his head over Chester's for a moment. "I-I promised to stay alive, and I-I promise to keep everyone else a-alive as well." Akvan stated, a hard and almost impossible promise to keep. The pin only worked once, and the factor of the war meant death could appear anywhere, without Akvan to prevent it. He smiled a little when Chester suggested using it on him, knowing already that she'd think of such a thing. "I-it's better served f-for someone else... b-besides, the pin won't work on the one wh-who created it." Akvan replied, giving a little sad smile before kissing Chester's head. "I don't want t-to have to watch anyone g-get hurt, or come b-back to a t-tragedy. Chester, pl-please understand I'm only r-reckless because I c-can't stand the i-idea of b-being useless t-to everyone here."

Chester gave a hard look to Akvan, making sure he saw how determined she was for him to get what she was to say stuck in his brain. Just daring him to look away. "Tenshi and Nanari are doing all they can, even without this, they will be putting strain on their bodies helping everyone else, while Nanari has everyone to think about, Tenshi can only help those on our side, the Humans for that getting less and less everyday... If not for Nanari and the Mun Clan working their behinds off to keep people believing in the other races, then we would have gotten nowhere. You cannot keep putting the weight of the worlds on your shoulders. Its okay to sit back a little and focus on one thing at a time, right now, being your fights with Shinda, because I met him once, saw what he can do, you can only get stronger with time." Chester took a breath. "You are far from useless to everyone here, you have proven that more times then I can count, more times then I can even remember right now. We were all worried sick about your whereabouts, and now knowing its going to be worse, we want you safe and alive Akvan. Not sitting there worrying about you worrying about us, we have each other, you only get us when you get out... That's the hateful and painful truth, but it is the truth. Being reckless, only makes things worse for us, because we worry about you as well. Okay?"

Akvan knew better than to resist when Chester gave him that face. He knew he was going to get a lecture, and by now knew he needed to listen. It made sense for Akvan to focus on only his fights, but such a thing was impossible, no matter how he planned on trying. It had always been the same, when Akvan first learnt what he was, he considered the worlds under his single protection from an awful end. And it felt the same now, but in a different situation. Akvan felt like it was his responsibility to protect the world, from whatever Shinda planned for it. But the Devil had set up attacks on all sides, and Akvan felt hopeless to defending his precious world from all of them. Whilst he held back Shinda, the evil festering in the world was beginning to burn holes through it behind Akvan's back. Finally, when all was said, Akvan sighed, bringing Chester closer. "I don't want t-to be alone." Akvan mumbled, unable to say more. It was one way of putting it, what Akvan really meant, was that at the end of his fighting, when he could finally come back for good, he didn't want to come back to an empty world. He would try to not worry, and have faith in everyone else, but Akvan still had a heart, he couldn't help but worry. "I-I won't take it back, the pin is a g-gift... but it w-will be the only one. All of m-my power will go into d-defeating Shinda, is that w-what you want?" Akvan suggested.
