Note: Takes place just after the end of the Nightmares.
Uneasiness was everywhere, and Akvan just didn't know what he could rely on to think of to calm himself down. There was overwhelming senses of bad and good going around for everyone, and even though the Nightmares were over, for some they still existed to keep them restless at night. Whilst the sun child had spent a long while thinking over what Mitasu said, about Shinda and his relation to others, and how that he was ready to strike again at any moment. It meant the one Akvan promised to protect this world from could be out there, waiting for a chance to finish what he'd started, or rather what Akvan had started when trying to kill both him, and his previous split-personality. He could remember that image his mother had once shown him, of a future left in blood red ruin and pain. That Shinda was apparently at the centre of it all. So Akvan's whole purpose was to stop that future, and stop Shinda. Soon, soon he'd go searching for his evil twin, try and see if he could bring things to an end before Shinda got his hands on the world like he'd probably planned. But for now, there was something and someone Akvan needed to be here for, before he went off to search. Not long since Chester had finally woken up, though remained resting, had Akvan planned an evening for his wife, where he'd be able to share with her the news that would probably bring light to both through the dark clouds of the Nightmares that remained. It was hard to convince some, but Akvan made everyone else promise not to mention anything to Chester about what they'd learnt. A secret, but not like the ones Akvan had kept from her before. No, this lie was only in place for the factor of joyous surprise Akvan hoped it would cause, hopefully enough for Chester to forgive the Sun child from going against his promise made over a year ago. He felt like he was repeating himself, making the large home he'd built look it's best, something Akvan had done before as a surprise for Chester... which coincidentally had led to the reason for this evening as well. Flowers had been picked and placed around to make the place look alive, Akvan had summoned lights to hover around the place, and his sisters had been kicked out for the evening with a threat left in place should they try to sneak back in. With that all set, Akvan simply waited sat on the stairwell, staring into place as he thought. He felt excitement and dread, feeling glad to see Chester again, and dreading just how big a mess he'd probably make when giving her the news.

Chester was use to being admitted out of care after such moments. So she was up and about again quite quickly, ready to head back home and try to forget all about these nightmares. It was far too quiet when she awoke, and Chester had to admit it scared her a little, wondering what happened while she was unconscious, she could tell many were keeping a secret from her, too many years of being lied to has allowed her to see the signs. But she trusted that Akvan would tell her when she got home, if he didn't forget the promise he made, and she doubted he did. The walk home was always pleasant, seeing what was rebuilt by the Mun Clan, and how they managed to create their own home and life here, and it always made her tear up when looking to her and Akvan's home. Luckily after so long she managed to stop the tears before entering. But, this isn't what she expected to walk into, and the first thought to enter her mind was that Akvan had something planned. But she had to admit, it was very beautiful, and quiet, which meant all the others were out, so there was definitely something going on. But from experience, she knew to let Akvan control when she found out. So for now, she smiled to her husband and walked over to him to bring him into a hug. "It looks beautiful in here, and very quiet for a change, its peaceful."

The nightmares had given Akvan one thing positive. Confidence, and more dominance over his temperamental magic. Akvan felt like it was a lot easier to do things. But Eteru, that was a power Akvan could only used rarely. He felt fine when shrouded in mist, but as soon as he'd deactivated it, all the strain and pain came flooding back into the Sun Child. It shook Akvan's new faith a little, though he was assured at least in the worst situations, he could use Eteru, just not like always as it had been before. He could sense Chester coming closer to the house, feeling something pull in his stomach. He was suddenly more nervous than he should be at this point in their relationship. But it wasn't normal news that Akvan needed to tell her, and he wasn't confident on how to deliver it either. The Sun child chuckled quietly, this felt very reminiscent of when he'd proposed, perhaps not as horrifying though. He blinked himself out of thought, and up onto his feet when Chester made it inside. Akvan smiled, restraining himself from latching too tightly around Chester when she hugged him, just desperate to keep her close and safe. "It wasn't too hard, just n-needed to remove the f-free-loaders." Akvan jested, before sighing with relief. He moved his head back, pressing it softly onto Chester's. "I-I'm so glad you're alright." He muttered, hiding the hurt in his voice. Swallowing, Akvan moved away to take a breath. "I... um, l-like to make the place look p-perfect, for all s-special occasions... Chester, I've g-got some news."

Chester gave a chuckle at the thought of Akvan getting rid of the free loaders, wondering what he said to get them out the house, and remained away from the house. Labari and Hada weren't ones to listen normally, and Gensho even less so whenever he decided to take over the guest room, or as he would say, comes home to his own room. "I don't think I want to know how you get them out." Looking to her husband, Chester gave a smile, body relaxing a bit, and hands moving to cup his cheeks. "Of course I'm alright, I had you watching over me. Its nothing I couldn't handle either." It was always a tough time when things like this happened, memories of those darker days resurfacing, and despite this meaning she was more likely to live from strenuous physical wounds, it didn't help the mental ones, for anyone. Letting Akvan move away, Chester waited patiently, giving him a smile, letting him take his time to get what he needed out, though she was curious to know this news, with everyone else seemingly holding it back from her as well, Chester had no idea what it could be. "Ah, would this be the news everyone else seems to know? Because I could tell there was something on their minds when I left earlier..." She wasn't angry at him, or the others for not saying anything, she could only assume it was something that happened while she was healing.

The methods of keeping the others away were kept a secret, though Akvan relied a lot on their understanding, and on Labari to keep Hada back, who would never listen to her brother no matter the request. Akvan chuckled, "Let's just say, I-I have my ways of persuasion." He replied, kissing Chester's forehead. His gaze did drop afterwards, thinking on what a horrible time it had been. He tried not to think about the promises he'd broken, failing to keep Chester safe from going through anything like that again. She shouldn't have to learn to handle such things, but a part of Akvan was proud that she did. And when Chester had tried so hard to recover, Akvan would do the same, and not bring it up again. Three times was a limit though, that Akvan had to witness his love hurt. A fourth time, and perhaps the rage might just cause Akvan to really destroy the world, the real world. Akvan went a little pale for a moment, learning that Chester had caught on that others were keeping a secret from her. It wasn't bad, and Chester wasn't mad, but by experience it made Akvan nervous. He chuckled awkwardly, "C-can't trust those guys with anything..." He muttered, hands twitching nervously. Best not to keep the wife in anticipation then, though now that Akvan had to admit the news, he felt his throat caught. He couldn't give in and tear up just yet, wait until Chester could share the happy tears first. The Sun child blinked, taking a deep breath. "Ok.. ok, I c-can do this... Ummm..." Akvan took a hold of Chester's hand. "Chester, t-there's been a-a... a-a development... I-I umm... s-something h-happened. Mitasu t-told us.. um... I-I didn't b-believe h-her at f-first but th-then Yume.... um.. s-something impossible t-that we f-found, um.. w-we... y-you..." Akvan trailed off, lost for breath after his jumble of words. He was panicking, and no doubt making the news seem horrible to Chester. Akvan needed to fix it. "T-the news is g-good! G-g-good news! I-it's just, h-how to... h-hard t-to say... um, p-put it.. wh-why do I-I a-always m-mess up a-at this?"

The most Chester could assume from keeping the others away was Labari understanding and keeping Hada back, if she discovered anything from living with them all, is that Hada doesn't listen and Labari was the reasonable one... And the reason they had no food in the house. Smiling as Akvan kissed her forehead, Chester did notice him look a little upset over memories they both wished to forget, and in a hope to get those thoughts out of his head, Chester nudged him with her nose and gave him a small kiss. "Forget about it, okay? I'm fine, you cant get rid of me that easily, trust me, others have tried." Though those times weren't the best to remember, Chester did manage to find a way to lighten the memories with jokes, and going through it just let her knew she was stronger then she thought. Chuckling slight at Akvan's mumble, Chester debated on tell him the truth or not. About how after seventeen years of people treating her like a china doll, she learnt to determine if someone was lying to her, or keeping a secret or not. Deciding against it as it would put more of a damper on the atmosphere then the previous words did. Waiting patiently, Chester should have expected the stuttering, and knew he was rambling in nervousness, she could tell it wasn't exactly bad news, even if Mitasu being the one to mention it was a little disturbing as to what it could be. Because she knew Akvan would have told her earlier if that was the case. Chuckling slightly, Chester squeezed Akvan's hands a little, smiling softly to him. "Its fine Akvan. Though I'm dying to know what this news is, take your time."

Akvan had heard that from a lot of people. Chester would always be fine, as she was tough enough to handle it all. What brought Akvan down was that the reason for her being so tough couldn't be less justified. He sighed, taking what he could from the small kiss, and trying to draw his mind away from it. "I just w-wish, they'd stop trying to take you a-away." He muttered, though made sure not to think any more on the subject. A bigger one was before Akvan right now, and he needed to get it over with and announced. He chuckled a little, when Chester understood, so glad he had such a perfect wife, one who understood that he couldn't just announce things without first panicking and making a meal of them. That was simply Akvan's way. "Th-thank you.. I-I..." Akvan mumbled, brushing his thumbs lovingly over Chester's hands, staring off at nothing. He sucked on his tongue, planning what to say in his head, and the moment Akvan spoke, it all crumbled into a mess. "Y-you know w-we.. w-w-we wanted t-to... a-a li-little while a-ago you s-s-said... there w-was s-something y-y-you a-always wanted a-and well... i-it w-was im-impossible. B-b-but well, I-I... th-there's a-a ch-chance.. y-you, um..." Akvan took a breath, finally moving a hand free, and pointed it towards Chester's stomach. "Th-there's.. s-something i-in th-there."

Chester didn't remember what she said she always wanted, things like that slip her mind now a days, preferring to live in the now, with what she can have, rather that in which is impossible. She knew first hand how life is too short to be wishing for things that she cannot have. But she did try to rack her mind about what this could be about, something inside her? What did that even mean... Did Mitasu do something while she was stuck with her, nothing harmful otherwise the others would have told her sooner. Did they have to do something to keep her alive? A million questions run around her head in just a few short seconds. Before all the points came together to make sense, leaving Chester wide eyed, and unbelieving on what her Husband was saying. So much so, she couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous it sounded. "Haha... Ha... That really impossible, there's no way, I have baby in here... How we both... Its surly more impossible then the last, race parents." Chester couldn't think straight to give proper sentences, she barely made sense of what she was saying herself, the sheer thought of being pregnant sending Chester into shock panic, and still very much so unbelieving. "Your joking, you have to be."

Akvan had already kicked himself a dozen times in his head for that delivery. Panic his poor wife by making her think something was alive inside her, not knowing the real context at Akvan's stupid way with words didn't get that far. But, as he stood silent, eyes showing the pain of how much he loathed himself, as he waited for Chester to look confused or something. Chester did look confused, but also her eyes widened to an unbelieving degree. Then, almost amusingly, Akvan's other half became just as hard to understand as he was on a regular basis, and Akvan could have chuckled if this situation would let him. "I-it... n-no joking." Akvan mumbled, placing a hand on Chester's shoulder. "I-it is im-impossible, b-b-but y-y-yet... I-I c-can still s-see it." Akvan replied, trying to be somewhat calm himself here, or else really break down the situation. "M-my... m-m-my vision is the o-only thing w-we have a-as proof, a-as I d-don't w-want to a-ask her a-about this. But... I-I can s-see a-a-another s-soul in-in y-you." The Sun child blinked a little, shaking, but lifting his expression into a smile. "I-it's r-real Chester... I k-know it is."

Chester was still in so much shock. But, she trusted Akvan, and knew this isn't something he would lie about, or joke about, it just wasn't in his nature. Plus, if he could see another soul inside of her, then it must be true, because she knew it wasn't possible to gain another, and if it is, she had no idea how. Letting the news sink in though was different, Chester knew she went rigid, wide eyed and unmoving, probably freaking out her husband in the worst of ways. Akvan probably believing she didn't want it and such. It was far from the case, just so much to take in all at once. But after a few painful, panic filled minutes, Chester gave the largest smile she had ever had and flung herself at Akvan bringing him into a hug, happy tears falling down her face... because there was no way in any life time she couldn't find this moment most upsetting in the worst of ways. "I'm so happy..." Chester felt herself give out a happy laugh, before moving to kiss Akvan. "Were going to be parents. Your going to become a father, I'm going to be... I never thought..." Chester never thought this could ever be, and yet, here they were.

Akvan was worried that his own reaction would be dulled, from already shedding tears over this once, having discovered it for himself during the nightmares. But, he was proven wrong. As Chester went silent, stuck in a phase of shock whilst her mind contemplated everything, the Sun child was building up his own happiness. Chester panicked for a moment, and Akvan promised not to also overreact. He'd made his own mess tonight, making a meal of the news, so he simply watched in wait for Chester to soften to the truth here. And it made Akvan chuckle audibly when she finally did, a smile that Akvan had been longing to help her create, for many years, on her face and a soul painted in the brightest of colours. His wife's happiness alone was what made Akvan cry, relieved that this was really happening. He almost fell back when Chester moved to embrace him, the Sun child gaining his balance enough to hug her back, spinning them both around a little. "Never t-thought it was p-possible? M-me too... but, Chester... y-you g-get to be a m-mother. A-after the p-pasts w-we've b-both faced, m-maybe f-fate is finally giving us the chance t-to be happy." Akvan replied, moving close to kiss his wife softly. "I love you, Chester... e-every moment spent h-here by you m-makes me happy. Knowing w-what w-we'll have t-t-together, makes me e-even more so."

Chester laughed as Akvan spun them around, smiling all the while. Maybe Akvan was right, fate was giving them a chance to be happy, this being a miracle that they never thought possible. Chester would finally get the family she always wanted, to be able to raise a child alongside Akvan, her husband. Chester deepened the kiss, relishing every moment of it. "As I love you, have done since the day we met when you saved me from the spider webs." Despite everything bad that happened back then, and the conflicting feelings. Chester still laughed over their meeting, and how big of a coincidence it all was. "This child is going to be so loved and happy.... And I'm going to get so fat and hormonal..." Chester wasn't happy for that moment, but she knew it would be worth it in the end, plus she had Akvan, Nanari, Gensho, Labari, Hada, Tenshi and Kaku and Ru.... Oh gods. "Ru is going to kill you..." She knew her brother would be happy, and approves of the relationship. oh course he does, he gave them his blessing, but she knew what they had to do to conceive this child, isn't something he will be too pleased about.

It was all because of two drunken brothers pulling a prank on Akvan that all this could happen. Akvan was sure that Gensho, and Onrah up wherever he was would boast over that fact. Akvan simply found it humorous, to think of all that came from that one meeting in Rycora. Forget the bad, and remember all of the good that came from Akvan and Chester meeting, that was what the Sun child did. Akvan chuckled a little, "You'll still be beautiful n-no matter what happens... And talk about being loved, I can't imagine how m-much it's aunts and uncles are going to spoil it, let alone us." Akvan knew Hada was already preparing herself for winning position as the best Aunt in the world. She'd been close to revealing the news early with all of her blabbering and excitement. Labari too, just the way Akvan's sisters were. Fortune did favour Akvan with his fake feet, it meant they couldn't get weak and cause him to collapse. Because they would be getting weak now, after Chester muttered about Ru. Akvan swallowed hard, "I-I was hoping, that w-we could just... not tell him." Akvan mumbled, shivering a little with the reminding thought of exactly what his brother in law might just think of this.

Chester knew this baby would be spoilt rotten, but she would make sure they grew up right, helping others, and happy above it all. She wanted to make sure her or his views wasn't based on possessions one owns, despite their spoilt upbringing. But they would get to that when it comes to it. And Chester knew with how her family was, they would be looking out for her just as much leading up to it all, especially Nanari and Ru, which would both be sweet, and incredibly annoying if they went too far... Akvan, she knew would do so for definite, but she was already preparing herself for that... Leaning up to kiss Akvan sweetly, Chester gave him a reassuring smile, the complete opposite to the harsh glare she switched to at just the thought of not telling Ru. "And how do you think he will react when he finds out later on? Were telling him, he's my brother. He has to know, and I will be there to help... I wont let him kill you, but I cant promise ill be able to stop him from getting in something..." Rurushu wouldn't try anything too bad, knowing how she would react, but that didn't mean he wouldn't have fun with this information...

There was the curiosity of what a second generation Sun child would even be like. Akvan just hoped they would be more like Chester, even if she was a magically created Demon, and what that might just do to the genetic side of things. The Sun child tried not to worry too much. He just wanted a happy, and healthy child to share with Chester, and to cherish and love like family should. It wasn't a big ask, though perhaps for one born like Akvan was, asking for a peaceful family life might just be wishing too far. Such morbid thoughts were kept deep down, they were something Akvan had refused to unlock again ever since taking Chester's hand in marriage. He had proof his life could be more than just sorrow, when she'd agreed to stay by his side forever. Akvan made a weak smile when Chester obvious didn't like his idea, finding it hard to hide the sweat and worry on his face at the thought of telling Ru of what had happened. Akvan let out a harsh laugh, "Th-that's reassuring." He muttered, in a rare moment of sarcasm. Though Akvan smiled afterwards, hoping Chester knew he'd never actually plan on not telling Rurushu about this, or any of the others. He'd promised long ago never to lie, and he planned on keeping it in terms of everyone. Akvan took a hold of Chester's hand. "F... fine I guess w-we should tell him. S-sooner rather than later, r-right?"
