Kakushin felt genuinely lighter now that the ceremony was over. It was the only thing Kaku was worried about, apart from the speeches to come, which Kaku tried not to think about. But once the guests were up and applauding, following the newly weds out of the Temple and towards the very well decorated Golden ship. Makeru had rushed off to start it up, eating some of his fruity payment for the service. The first trip was solely for the Bride and Groom to ride in, others who could fly to Shiro themselves did so. And once Kaku and Ru were there, they got first looks at how it looked inside. Kaku couldn't wipe the smile off of his face, nor could he let go of Rurushu's hand as they went inside. They'd welcomed everyone inside already, the place was already set up and waiting, not like they could expect anything less from the ones organising this crazy day. It felt like it took half the night to simply welcome everyone inside and talk to them, but eventually everyone was getting seated. And it was all perfectly going to plan for a different kind of celebration going on tonight. Chester was helping Zuura lead everyone to their seats, taking extra care that the Clan leader didn't do anything too far-fetched. The other one Kaku knew he and Ru need to find was lurking around the edge of the room, pretending to admire the castle structure as he was clearly just trying not to panic right now. Kakushin grinned, pointing out Akvan to Ru. "Shall we?" Kaku asked, remembering what Ru told him that their little Sun child friend was planning on doing today, and knowing it couldn't wait until later. Not whilst everyone was just seated, and the only to standing around were Chester and Akvan right now. The Angel and Demon pair crept up to Akvan, making sure it looked the least suspicious.

Ru had never felt happier as he stood with his husband and greeted their guests properly, thanking each and everyone for being here on their big day. Rurushu knew not to fully relax now he was married, the upcoming speeches making that impossible to do... He remembers Chester's first meeting with Kaku and how bad that was... Let alone a speech today, alongside the others. But right now, looking over to Akvan as Kaku pointed him out, Ru knew that there was something just as important to do, "We shall". Smiling to Kaku, and taking his hand, the two headed over to Akvan, before Ru placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Most guests we have thanked for coming... But I think all three of us know why we are here talking to you right now..." Rurushu took a look to his sister helping the last of the guests to their seats, doing not just a good job with the guests themselves, but also keeping Zuura out of any more trouble. "Now's the best time if any... You'll do fine, and I'm positive she will say yes... Kay, Good luck..." Giving Akvan a last nod, Ru lead Kaku over to their table, knowing it would be suspicious if they hung round for too long... Giving a last thumbs up to Akvan, Ru sat at the table, keeping an eye on the other two, glancing over to Kaku quickly. "I love you, thanks for letting him do this during our day..."

It was hard to enjoy this joyous occasion when Akvan had yet to say a word to anyone else. A few smiles to people here and there, but other than that, all day he'd been mute. Hada and Labari had begun to catch on, fortunately the ceremony happened just after. It was a really good ceremony, and Chester looked amazing. But because of that as well, Akvan felt even worse. Sitting down right now wouldn't happen, even for a guy without legs, and so Akvan just paced around the outside of the tables, staring at random pillars or statues and going over what he wanted to say in his head. Of course, it didn't matter how much practise Akvan put into what he wanted to say, as soon as he knelt down, Akvan knew all manner of actual language would disappear. Akvan smiled weakly to Ru and Kaku as they came over, knowing beyond his smile what them coming over meant. The Sun child placed a hand over the pocket in his jacket. There rested the ring, and it felt ten times heavier every time Akvan remember why it was there. He swallowed hard, the smile almost turning into a grimace. "Y-y-you think... s-so?" Akvan mumbled, taking a deep breath. Looking over towards Chester, Akvan did smile properly, nodding to Ru as the newly weds moved off. Akvan sighed, rubbing his neck. "O-ok Akvan... d-d-don't make a m-m-meal of it. I-It's fine... i-it's just a-asking t-the most perfect p-part of your m-messed up l-l-little life to b-be with you forever." He shook his head, knowing he wasn't helping himself in the slightest. There was no point hanging around back here any longer, it would only make Akvan more tense. So he started moving, heading around the area to loop towards Chester. Hiding his fearful look, Akvan smiled, "H-hey Chester...umm... come over h-here a second... t-there's... something to t-tell, uh, I-I need to say, a-ask you... o-over here."
Kicking himself for already making a mess, Akvan just hoped his voice would calm down at least a little. He gently held one of Chester's hands, pulling her a little way away from the entrance and Zuura taking the time facing away from her to put a better, calmer look on. Stopping suddenly and turning around, Akvan grabbed Chester's other hand as well, holding both together. "S-so.... alright... h-here's the thing... No, t-that's no good." Akvan took another breath, squeezing Chester's hands slightly as he started again. "Y-you look b-b-beautiful today C-chester. F-first... The f-f-first moment I m-met, saw y-you... I-I r-r-really knew, l-liked... uhh... I s-see you t-then... and I t-t-thought that s-same thing then... I.." He swallowed, and tried again. "F-from the first moment I-I met y-you... I t-thought how b-b-beautiful you were... and also! A-also I s-s-saw and, and t-thought how w-wonderful and k-kind y-you were too." Akvan looked down at Chester's hands, feeling as though his face was melting off. "E-every d-day since... I thought the s-same... through e-everything. I-I never s-s-stopped thinking about y-you... and t-then us.. a-and then h-h-how much I loved you." Akvan felt like he was at least getting somewhere now, fighting the urges to just burst out loads of words, collapse or cry. "I-I l-live a very.... s-strange life, b-but it's h-has been s-s-so easy to bare t-thanks to you... C-chester, you c-completed me... f-fixed me t-to t-t-the point where I-I won't e-e-ever leave again. A-a-and now... t-thanks, y-yes... I wanted t-to thank you f-for it... a-and give you something i-in return." It should be impossible for Akvan's legs to shake, seeing as they weren't even real, but shiver they did, and he almost fell down completely. "O-ok... j-j-just need to a-ask you... pr-promise something e-else." Akvan was now realising how much he wished there weren't so many people around. Maybe they hadn't caught on yet, but Akvan's next action would certainly draw everyone's gaze to burn into his back. Better to get it over with than stand in front of Chester like this, shaking like a leaf. So Akvan slowly pushed one foot back so that he dropped onto one knee. As his shaky hand focused on digging into his jacket pocket, Akvan decided to say a little more. "I-I know... I know i-it hasn't b-b-been long, b-but I don't... I w-want to help... give you my heart and I... I-I wanted to s-stay w-with you.. s-so..." Akvan eventually pulled out the ring, holding it carefully in his hand. "Chester... w-would it.." Akvan stopped himself, trying with a lot of might not to mess up anymore. "Will you marry me?"

The easy part about helping out was leading people to their seats, the hard part was keeping Zuura from making trouble. But she managed, and those she had to intervene with, well, the guests were thankful for it. The task was quickly over, as she sent Zuura to his own seat, thanking him for a 'good' job. And just as she was to head to hers, Chester turned to see Akvan. Smiling over to him, Chester let him drag her to wherever, knowing that she could afford a few moments with him. "What do you need Akvan?" Chester was a little worried, Akvan had been acting strange all day from what she noticed, she hoped she would finally be able to work out why, though she admits, she had been busy the last few days with wedding planning, so she hadn't had time to hang out with Akvan. Looking down as Akvan squeezed her hands, Chester's curiosity grew, even as she squeezed them back, and listened to Akvan. Honestly, this wasn't what she was expecting, but it did warm her heart, even through all the stuttering... But it was something she's grown to love about him, even if it could be a little over baring at times. "Awwh, Akvan..." Smiling to Akvan, Chester could tell how much he was freaking out over whatever he had on his mind. But Akvan dropping to one knee... Really wasn't something she was expecting. Chester's hands flew to cover her mouth, tears welling up in her eyes. She could feel herself begin to shake, but waited patiently for Akvan to finish... Tears falling as he managed to ask the big question without stuttering. Falling to the ground, Chester wrapped her arms around Akvan, smiling to him. "... Yes." Giving Akvan a kiss to prove it, Chester buried her head into his shoulder. "I love you."

Akvan thought he might just collapse after all the building up in his head, and after putting all of his willpower to make some sense for once with the actual question, now Akvan just felt exhausted, emotionally. It felt better now that he'd said his piece, although even with the question said, Akvan didn't know what to make of how Chester would feel. All he could do was hold his breath down, wait for a sign that he been stupid to ask or had done it wrong. It made him fret a little to look up and see Chester crying, and as was an almost natural reaction now, also made Akvan's eyes tear up as well. Before he spoke again, perhaps playing down the big question by making sure Chester knew it would be alright if she didn't, Chester dropped to his level. But Akvan had all of his worries over the last few weeks demolished finally with that simple confirmation from Chester. "Y-y-yes?" He repeated, unable to believe it even after being reassured before that Chester would respond with it. Akvan's lips quivered, feeling so relieved and grateful as he went into the kiss. "A-and... I'll always love you too, Chester." Akvan replied, swallowing down his urge to cry, and any other fear as he carefully lifted Chester's head up to place a kiss on her lips himself. Going back to embracing Chester for a short while, Akvan tried not to look up at anyone else quite yet, just imagining what state those like Nanari and Gensho might be in right now. For now, Akvan took hold of Chester's hand, placing the ring over her finger before kissing it. "T-t-the ring has a piece of the S-sun Tear on it." Akvan had to add, smiling to Chester, "It's a part of my h-heart, w-which now belongs to you."

Smiling into the kiss, and giving a light chuckle through the tears, Chester moved back a little. "Your so Adorkable... Of course I say yes..." Making sure the second kiss lasted a while, Chester could feel the eyes on the two of them, she just couldn't bring herself to care, not while she was in Akvan embrace. Glancing up the tiniest bit, Chester had to look straight back down at the state of the others. Nanari and Gensho especially, she could tell by the look on the newly weds faces that they were expecting this. Watching as Akvan placed the ring on her finger, she knew it would be the most protected thing she had ever owned, it was so very beautiful. But she felt her tears overflow once more at the explanation, and Chester brought Akvan into a tight hug. "You are way too sweet. I will treasure it always, both literally and fugitively. And though I cant give anything as amazing as this. Know you also own my heart, have done since the day we met..." Smiling to Akvan, Chester brought him into another kiss, savouring the taste, before making her way up, helping Akvan up as well... "I think, we have some people wishing to give congratulations..."

Post by Gensho Night on May 10, 2015 21:11:15 GMT
It was indeed a glorious day, Gensho had already caught something in his eyes during the ceremony. It was beautiful after all. And getting to go to Shiro, Gensho had only ever dreamed of what the centre piece of Aura looked like, and at last he could see inside it's marvellous walls. Shiro really did meet all expectations once up there, and to think the reception only took place in a small fraction of the castle made Gensho desperate for some exploring later on. For now, he'd continue on his bridesmaid duties, look after the two kings as no doubt they were destroyed by the speeches later on. Gensho sat, though remained on the edge of his seat, scanning across the room to find some others to wave at them. It looked as though Akvan was being all doom and gloom today, something the God of Night refused to let his brother carry on with. He'd go up, if the newly weds didn't go first. Gensho spun a piece of cutlery on the table, pondering on his brother as Akvan seemed more and more agitated by something.
But the God of Night let it be for a moment, seeing as Akvan went towards the entrance to probably talk to Chester, and Gensho didn't want to interrupt on the adorable pair he'd waited far too long to see happy. Gensho smiled for a moment, listening in to their conversation. Though the smile faded with curiosity replacing it, whatever had Akvan on such an edge wasn't disappearing. And then the bumbling idiot got down on one knee, and it wasn't just Gensho who reacted to it in the room. He was on his feet now, staring over to Akvan and Chester with eyes wide. This was real, and actually happening. That shy little guy Gensho had grown up with was finally getting over almost all of his social issues to ask the girl he loved to marry him, and Gensho was making quiet squealing noises as Chester agreed to it. Tears now officially in his eyes, Gensho glanced to the ceiling. "Granted it might have taken a while... but see? Didn't I tell you our little brother would ask one day?" He muttered up to the heavens. Watching them both rise, Gensho knew he couldn't keep back, no matter what manners he contained. Rushing up to be the first to hug Akvan, Gensho practically dove on the poor soul, knocking both to the ground. "I knew you could do it, you timid little fool!" The Demon sung, squeezing all happiness he could out on Akvan before helping his brother up back onto his feet, going to gently hug Chester as well.

Nanari was glad everything had gone to plan, and that Kaku was now her official brother in law. She admittedly let out a few tears over the happiness of it all, and she would still be at it if not for the distraction of what's to come, including trying to remember the speech she prepared. Probably the only nice one of the lot, well nice one being little embarrassment. She was worried for Akvan though, seeing him as all upset... She had no clue as to why, she just assumed it was due to Chester being busy with planning and such. And that was almost proven as he headed over to Chester, until Nanari got a glimpse as to what was happening when Ru nudged her to watch. Standing as Gensho did, Nanari covered her mouth and let more happy tears fall. She couldn't believe it, this was not even close to what she though for Akvan being so upset like... But it was happening, Akvan had asked, and Chester had said yes. Rushing over to the pair a little behind Gensho, Nanari brought Chester into a hug before switching with Gensho and giving a large hug to Akvan. Leaning back to wipe away her tears. "You guys..." Giving a little squeal, Nanari brought both back into another hug. "I'm so happy for you... Congratulations. Awh, man. I cant believe it..." Smiling to the happy couple, Nanari moved back a little to let anyone else congratulate as well.

Post by Zuura on May 10, 2015 21:53:13 GMT
Zuura was certainly enjoying today. He was probably the one causing the most trouble, but naturally Zuura felt like that was his thing. Though his plans on taking more shoes from people as they came into the reception vanished when Chester was asked to help him. The Clan leader tried not to act too annoyed that he could continue to have fun when Chester was around to play the adult. So, reluctantly, Zuura welcomed the rest of the guests like any normal person would, failing on his attempts to add to his collection. It was only after all the guests were in and Zuura was pointed towards his own seat that Akvan came along to remove the fun-destroyer and talk to her. Zuura was about halfway to his seat when he stopped to watch his best buddy. Everyone who cared for Akvan knew he'd been in an off mood today. Zuura had guessed it was due to the lack of improvement in the training Akvan asked Zuura for. It felt like seventeen years ago, when Akvan was constantly failing at his magic without a clue on what was going wrong. Perhaps today he just felt down for not having any changes made to his current problems. But perhaps it was something else. The Nephalem's good ears easily picked up what Akvan was saying. And it stunned Zuura, a person not easily surprised, to see his best friend make a step like that. Down on one knee, and Zuura was already planning a celebration night Mun clan-style in his head as he knew Chester would respond positively. Whilst a lot of people noticed the proposal, not everyone reacted, Zuura noticed. Obviously he'd change that. "Yay! Well done best buddy!" Zuura shouted from his end of the room, before beginning the charge towards them. Just after Nanari had said her congratulations, once again Akvan was knocked down by Zuura, who planned for his hug/assault to do so. After pouncing on his friend, Zuura began patting Akvan's head with a grin on his face. "Who's a good little Akvan? See? You're not a lonely little lonely loner after all!" Zuura jumped off his friend, knowing that for the ones after Zuura, Akvan may as well remain on the floor for now. So Zuura drew his attention to Chester, also giving her a tight hug. "Same goes for you missy! No more standing around all grumpy anymore! You look after Akky for me, yeah?"

Labari wasn't one to get too sentimental over these sort of things, but even she shed a tear at the wedding. But watching as everyone seated for the reception, and glancing around for her brother during that time.... Labari really did shed tears over seeing what her shy brother was doing, it wasn't something she ever expected to see, especially so soon into the newly established relationship. Standing at the table, Labari left a few moments for the others to give their congratulations, before wiping away her tears and rushing over herself, pouncing straight onto Akvan. "I'm so happy for you.... Finally my widdle shy brother has broken from the shell..." Squishing Akvan's face slightly, Labari made her way from her brother, giving him a quick hug before moving onto Chester. "I know you will, but I'm telling you anyway. Keep him safe and happy, or you will have hell to pay... But I am happy for you." Hugging Chester Labari smiled to her. "I know he loves you, and will care for you back..." She couldn't help but add, even if she knew Chester knew that.

Post by Hada on May 12, 2015 21:20:30 GMT
Hada resented what she was wearing. On only one occasion had her brother got her to wear a dress to one of Zuura's more than annual birthdays, and Akvan had almost ended up with a missing eye for even saying one little comment on how she looked. Now it was a wedding, and Hada had to wear a dress again after assuming she could avoid the un-practical pieces of clothing for the rest of her life. But she tried to put on a happy face, and make it as thought she enjoyed all of the wedding, including the yucky and lovie dovie stuff going on. What had Akvan so freaked out, Hada didn't know, perhaps he was just uncomfortable without his hat to cover his face. Something stupid, and Hada made sure to remember to bully her big brother out of his foul mood later on during the reception. The sibling trio went up to the Angel castle, before Akvan split from the girls for a bit, making excuses like going to look around at the structure. Huffing, Hada ignored the grump for now. And luck she had, since it seemed Akvan did actually have something on his mind today. And Hada made her first not even slightly forced smile today. It was so adorable, just watching how happy Akvan was, after knowing him since she was nine and he was the shy if kind loner. Once Labari was up, Hada followed. Not able to remove her smile, Hada almost shed a tear when she knelt next to her brother. "It was about time he grew up." Hada said, roughly rubbing Akvan's head. She nodded to Labari's statement, but Hada's expression wavered a little. She then gave Akvan the typical Hada, choking hug, "Man... I don't wanna give my big brother up, he's just so cute and little." Hada jested, latching onto Akvan's neck. It did kind of feel like she was losing him in a way. If not forever, Akvan certainly wasn't going to be around all the time like the past. But Hada knew it couldn't be helped, and as much as she'd miss him, the girl also knew she felt so happy as well. She glanced up to Chester, giving Akvan's neck one last squeeze before letting him go and walking over towards Chester. "Promise to look after him? That legless idiot can get himself into all sorts of trouble."

Chester felt so overwhelmed as others turned up for their congratulations. She herself not use to the attention and everyone blurring into the one person. Hugging those who turned up, for now only giving light hums to what everyone was saying and nodding in a mindless manner throughout, until finally everyone stopped talking and Chester was able to distinguish who she was talking to. Turning to them all, having helped Akvan up and gripping his hand tight, Chester smiled to them. "Thank you guys, it means a lot." Resting her head on Akvan's shoulder, Chester played with the ring on her finger. Turning her gaze to Zuura, Labari and Hada, Chester gave a light nod. "I promise to do my best at keeping him safe, though I'm not even close to being as strong as Akvan... But I do promise to keep him happy, a promise I made seventeen years ago." Chuckling slightly, Chester moved her gaze to Akvan. "And I know he can get into trouble, its going to be difficult keeping him out of it..." Smiling up to Akvan, Chester shoved his shoulder lightly. "But I guess that trouble can be a little fun sometimes..."

Akvan considered the ring as the best he could give. It was his literal heart, and there wasn't one other guy other there who could give someone their heart in quite the same way as the Sun Child. Not that Akvan bragged about that, the Sun Tear being his life line was inconvenient. But at least this way, Akvan knew he could never lose all heart. For he trusted Chester with everything, and knew she'd do as she said, treasure the ring. "That's all I need, forever." Akvan replied, leaning into the kiss. Akvan almost forgot anyone else was even there, getting up to smile as he looked around. But he only got a second to glimpse around, before someone jumped on Akvan the moment Chester had warned him of the others. Akvan blinked, looking down to see Gensho wrapped around him, laughing finally at his brother's antics. Allowing Gensho to bring them back up, Akvan was ready for Nanari now that he knew what kind of congratulations to expect. Smiling through Nanari's hug, Akvan took a deep breath. "Thanks both of you, I-" Akvan never finished, finding himself once again resting hard on the floor as someone else pushed him down.
Still stunned, Akvan felt his head being rubbed back and forth, trying to slap Zuura's hand away even if he felt happy about the Clan leader giving his own little congratulating way. "Zuura I-" Nope. Still not a chance to say anything, as one crazy Mun member jumped off, another one pounced onto of the Sun Child. Akvan chuckled to Labari, about to answer her too before she began squeezing his face. He didn't even reply, knowing full well there was no point think about who was left. Akvan had spent many years being strangled by Hada when she attempted to hug him. So he was ready for her, but still not quick enough to stop her gripping his neck with her arm. Holding tight onto Hada's arm to stop her actually choking him, he finally got a break as the others seemed to focus on Chester. Akvan caught the last thing Hada said, shaking his head. No doubt Labari and Zuura had also played all protective, though he didn't blame them. Nor did he need confirmation that Akvan was as protected by Chester as she was by him. A two way kind of deal that Akvan was only just beginning to understand. Akvan grinned to Chester, trying to not stumble as she helped him up. He hummed in agreement. "Yeah. A-all of you, thanks." Akvan added, leaning slightly onto Chester's head. It warmed Akvan to hear Chester promise to keep him happy. In a way, that was protecting him, for any physical danger wasn't nearly as bad as the one in his head, and that only reached an unhappy Akvan. He knew now that Chester was by his side, with a ring to prove it, that the darkness Akvan feared in his heart would probably never need to worry him again. Akvan chuckled, "I d-don't get into trouble." He replied with pretend hurt, before hearing Hada scoff. "Anymore." "I p-promised to keep myself from doing anything t-too dangerous, didn't I?" Akvan stated to Chester, looking down and kissing her forehead.

Ru watched as Akvan moved over to Chester, and made sure he listened in carefully. It was sweet really, and he was glad he suggested doing so here. Nudging Nanari slightly so she could watch, knowing she, alongside many others were concerned for Akvan and his mood. Rurushu admittedly let out a small tear when seeing Chester say yes, even if he mentally prepared himself for it. Smiling over to Kaku, Ru leant on his shoulder. "I feel so old... Getting married myself and watching as my baby sister gets engaged... Its something I both love and hate." Chuckling as he watched the onslaught of people rush over to give their congratulations to the happy couple, Ru hung back until it was calmer, before nudging Kaku once more. "I guess we should go congratulate them too." Standing from his seat, Rurushu pulled Kaku along to the others, giving his sister the biggest hug he could manage, and turning to Akvan to give him a hug as well, alongside ruffling his hair. "See! Told you she would say yes... Now you really will be my brother... Cant tell if that's a good or bad thing yet." Chuckling slightly, Ru leant his head onto Kaku's shoulder. "I'm happy for you both, and I know you will both do your best to keep the other happy... And safe."

Kakushin thought Akvan's nervousness was just adorable. It reminded the Angel of his own feelings when proposing. Whilst Kakushin mastered being able to hide his really well, it seemed Akvan just leaked with fear. Kakushin smiled, holding back to let Rurushu do all the reassuring, although he did give Akvan a nod and thumbs up when the newly weds left him to it. Sitting down, Kakushin looked to Ru, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Oh don't worry about that. As soon as you told me, I thought the same as you did, it's perfect, and Chester deserves perfect." Kaku replied, eager to watch the performance. Kakushin felt like he was judging how Akvan did it compared to how the Angel had done so before. But the stuttering aside, he couldn't help but mark Akvan on his deliver of it all. It was easy to see how it came from the heart, and almost brought the slightly more manly newly wed to tears as well. Kakushin folded his hand around Ru's. "I know... and damn does it make us seem slow for waiting so long to get married, seventeen years compared to a couple of months." Kakushin added, smirking to Ru, lifting his hand to kiss the new ring on it. "But what we have was worth the wait, and I'm sure those two have waited just as long, be it together or when apart." Kakushin shuffled out of his chair, keeping up with Ru to stand next to him as they smiled to the newly engaged couple. As Ru hugged Chester, Kaku patted Akvan's shoulder. "Top marks on that speech, and congrats." Getting his chance to congratulate Chester, the Angel brought his new sister into a hug. "I'm so happy for you sis... glad to see you smile like this again." Kaku muttered, releasing her to have Ru lean on his shoulder. "Looks like we're all going to become one huge family now."
