Note: A few days post second fight. Things are calming down at last.
It felt like forever since Akvan had even tried to wake up. His body just refused to let go of sleep, exhaustion was pulling him down and had done so for almost a week now. He could hear everyone around him, feel the aches of his body's slow recovery, and yet the man himself didn't or couldn't open his eyes yet. But it wasn't all bad. After all, Akvan was still alive to even feel anything at all, and Nanari's spare room's bed was as comfy as ever. And the time granted to Akvan in his state of coma was enough to let him think, on everything that had transpired in under a month. All the strain and knots in Akvan's heart were loosened, still present, but finally given the time to work on. And he knew he couldn't just wake up to this world and find everything miraculously fixed. His friends still wouldn't trust him, not fully. Akvan still had a lot to make up for. Saving the people of Baransu, and insuring that the death count of that evening was little to nothing, even when thousands were in danger, wouldn't solve everything. What the Sun Child had sacrificed, the details of which a disorientated Akvan wasn't even sure of himself, wouldn't be enough. No, to fix things, Akvan would need to spend a long time working on it. Perhaps even spend a further seventeen years just fixing everything. Akvan would sigh if he could, instead all he could do was drop off to sleep again.
Eventually coming back into consciousness, however long he'd been asleep for having no concept of time, Akvan heard something. Steps coming close to his room, people talking. Akvan decided he needed to stop this, before not waking up caused more worry. Akvan's eyelids slowly separated, beholding the bright light of vision again after almost a week of nothing. Everything was blurry at first, as Akvan's eyes remembered how to focus, but soon the Sun Child was looking around quite easily. He didn't dare move much, fearing the condition of his body, no matter how much rest he'd had. Trying to move his hands was enough proof. Whilst with Nanari's help, and his own regeneration, Akvan's hands were put back together again, even twitching felt like a thousand knives were stabbing into his hands. It was because the hands were completely reconstructed from mush, everything internally was new and stiff, very stiff. It would be long time of gradual practise before Akvan could hope to hold something again. Making sure not to move anything painful, Akvan looked towards the door, trying to make out a voice other than Nanari's. Another small movement made Akvan go pale as he'd forgotten about another injury. From the knee down, Akvan felt nothing, because there was nothing there. A Sun Child's powers could replace an organ, heal broken bones and close wounds easy. But recreating limbs would take a massive toll of magic, magic Akvan wouldn't be able to spare for a long while. Not until his energy was fully restored, and even then forming legs would be complicated work, easy to make a mistake at. So in a way, that injury was a permanent one, and wouldn't be easy to live with like other injuries. Though as Akvan thought on that, it just so happened that the current guest was here to help for that very reason.

Ningen knocked on the door gently, assuming he might wake up a sleeping patient if he was too loud. Waiting patiently, the boy looked back at his inorganic companion, Isha. He was the large cube that Ningen had been working for so long on. His completion wasn't done for the second fight, which greatly annoyed Ningen, knowing this creation of his would be best served in something like that. But now that a certain older brother was in charge of the entire Angel race, completing Isha had been accelerated. And now the helping machine was finally ready for use. And what a grand time to demonstrate Isha's skills than to complete a request made from Kakushin himself. Ningen almost jumped when the door opened. He bowed his head to the lady inside, "Greetings from Aura." Ningen said rather professionally. "I am Ningen, and come at the request of his highness, Kakushin... Who... ugh, by the way, wanted to say Hi." Ningen smiled a bit, before clearing his throat. "His majesty has request for me to deliver a gift of gratitude to the one that stopped Baransu Tower's collapse, in hope it might make a healthy recovery more possible." Ningen glanced to Isha, pressing a few buttons on the keypad on the floating cubes surface. A light appeared on Isha's front, which turned into a small hologram in front of Ningen. It was a picture of what looked like metal boots, only far more complicated than that. "These were designed by myself as perfect replacements. They are prosthetic legs, made to act as close to the real thing as possible, even when they can't be moved manually." Ningen announced, not knowing if even someone as experience in medicine and anatomy like Nanari would follow. So the Angel smiled as well, "We would like to help master Akvan walk again."

Nanari couldn't be more worried for Akvan, she knew most of his physical wounds would heal, his legs not included within that. But his mind was another matter entirely, and just the thought terrified her, so much had transpired in such a short amount of time, and most were having trouble keeping up with that, Nanari however, just was taking it all in stride and worrying for her patient... Well patients, as she was caring for most of the clan and the residents of Baransu, but Akvan was her top priority... Though it was difficult keeping, Hada and Labari away from their brother so that he could sleep, and dealing with Chester who was showing worry for Akvan in her own way, alongside her own injuries and blanked out memory of certain events. A knock at the door brought Nanari out of her musings before she asked Tulus and Burea to keep an eye on Akvan and Muchi who has taken residence at the end of her patients bed. Nanari chuckled at what awaited her, and shook her head at the formalities, really, she would have thought someone would mention her, enthusiastic behaviour when she visited Aura, enough to spread like wildfire. But she guessed not. Smiling up to Ningen, Nanari was glad she was finally able to see him again, alive and well. "Silly old Kakushin, he's not scaring you is he, not abusing his power as king? Because if he is or ever does, I'll kick his ass for you. And I know who you are, we were friends back in your human days... Im Nanari." She chuckled slightly at the hologram, ever so pleased to see that Ningen was still working with technology, before inviting him in. "Im sure you can just call him Akvan, or Flood. And they look amazing, even as just a hologram... Akvan was still sleeping the last time I checked, but im sure we can always wake him up for you to talk about these prosthetics. I know it will probably mean a lot to him, being able to walk again."

Ningen was soon to relax after finishing his formalities. He himself had gone through changes recently. Kakushin didn't really give Ningen much choice when marching over him soon after being crowned, requesting for Ningen to bring his inventive mind close to the table. Now Ningen was an official Angel mechanic, with a title hanging over his head. "Oh I know you're Nanari, Kakushin wouldn't leave out your name when instructing me." Ningen wasn't all for keeping up with news, if Nanari was as well known amongst Angels as Ningen expected, then the lonely Angel didn't hear much of it when hiding away. He smiled, "I apologise for not being able to remember you, but it is good to know I had friends. And where to start about his highness..." Ningen began. The boy leaned against Isha, "If there was ever a key to unlock that guys ego, this might have just done it. Don't get me wrong, Kakushin is still as kind and helpful as before... but he's going through this stage of renaming everything in Shiro after himself. The King's room, the King's kitchen, the King's bed, the King's doorway, the King's floor, the King's questionably large wardrobe." Ningen sighed, though smiled still. "And no need to worry about kicking his behind, Ikiru and I have a bet to see how long Hane can last before doing so himself." Almost laughing over it all, Ningen brought himself back together, relaxing his smile a bit as he nodded. "The real things are packed in Isha, though I like to think of them as only prototypes, an appetiser before I can make the real gift." Ningen stated. "Depending on how he is, we can proceed today, or whenever. The King told me I wasn't to 'side track' myself onto any other jobs until this one was complete or at least progressing... And how is he, Akvan, by the way?" Ningen, as usual, didn't know much about what was going on. Nor did he know anyone who'd visited the hospitalised hero of a week ago, so Ningen was really in the dark when assigned this job.

Ningen really was a sweet as she remembered, so she didn't mind him forgetting, everyone did so... Hell, when she dies, even she will have to go through making these friends again, so she couldn't blame him. "Its fine, we all forget when we are reborn... It just means we get another chance at meeting them again..." Nanari chuckled at the image of Kaku doing such a thing, and it really didn't surprise her one bit, she knew he would remain as helpful as ever, but she knew he would enjoy it a little too much. "That really doesn't surprise me... And add me to that bet... I say Hane lasts two more days at most before something happens..." If Nanari had learned anything over her time meeting everyone, it was that Hane and Kakushin had a close relationship, even if they didn't show it, and because of that, Hane wouldn't hesitate to show his annoyance over the fact his son figure is now a higher role then him, even if its only because he knew Kaku would do nothing about it. But it did bring her to think of how Ruru was doing, fixing Dranar and organising everything... It must be more work then Kaku at the moment, and she kept in mind that she needed to get a hold of someone who knew how he was doing. But back to the topic at hand, Nanari smiled to Ningen, "im sure the prototypes will be splendid for now, and it will all be up to Akvan, he can be a little stubborn, and as much as I believes he respects my opinion, nothing I will say will stop him from walking again... Not while he thinks he can help people." Chuckling slightly, Nanari began to lead Ningen to Akvan's room. "Oh, and ignore Kakushin with that, if you feel the need to side track do so, just don't forget this guy needs help... And if Kaku complains about that, tell him I told you this... That should shut him up, if not, then tell him Nanari will get the other on the case and that defiantly will..." Stopping in front of Akvan's room, Nanari gave a light knock in case he was finally awake. "He's in here... Akvan, sweetie, are you awake?"

Of all times to wake up, it was on the most peaceful of days. No one was sitting around hoping for Akvan to wake up, he just opened his eyes to an empty room. All apart from three furry friends. Akvan could hear purring even from where he was lying, and smiled weakly. Muchi might just take the trophy for longest sleeper, since Akvan couldn't remember not hearing the gentle cat not snoring at some point during the last few days, so as far as he was concerned, Muchi hadn't moved. And it was after knowing Muchi was there, that Akvan noticed two other sets of eyes. Tulus and Burea, all three cats Akvan was long accustomed to. And was more than glad to have their company at least when waking up. It would have been nice to see Gensho around, or Nanari, so he could confirm some things. Like how long exactly had Akvan been sleeping, it was hard to tell without a concept of time or the position of the Sun. And, he just wanted to talk to someone, confide in them. Seek comfort for not being really back together again, and to ask when and how he could begin making up to those he'd caused suffering to. As he sighed, Akvan turned his attention towards the door, hearing whoever it was visiting. It wasn't a voice Akvan recognised, but looking through at their soul, Akvan could sense they were Angel. And they had a very peculiar friend, some floating mush of magic energy. He didn't need to guess on who they were, not when he heard Nanari knock. Clearing his unused voice, Akvan was pleased to find out that at least he could still talk, if little else. "Yes... I am." He answered softly, if unheard then Burea or Tulus would surely add to it.

"I gave the guy a week. Though if Hane lasts that long, I'd be impressed. I think the royal guard seems to have a stubborn view on it all. He hasn't quite accepted it yet, hell, I don't think Kakushin even has yet." Hane's refusal to believe it was expressed almost daily. Before, when Ningen heard about how Hane seemed to never address Tenshi by her name, only by royal address, now it was opposite. Hane never called Kakushin a king or anything like it, only by his name. Ningen supposed only time would change that, and Kakushin really wanted Hane to call him 'his majesty' or the like, to perhaps boost confidence in the new King. Ningen's brow rose a bit, smiling some more. "Well, I'm used to stubborn people... as I'm sure you're aware. And I promise to do all that I can to help. As much as I enjoy my side projects, when people actually give me jobs to do, rather than me assigning myself to something, I feel much more inclined to get them done." Ningen knew who the other was, and it took a lot to not laugh at Nanari's point. Holding himself back, and trying to look professional, Ningen was excited to see if the patient was awake. It would be nice, if not because it meant Ningen could talk to Akvan himself, but because the guy had a lot of people holding on for him to wake up. They heard some muffled voice, and then two of Nanari's friends speaking louder. Apparently, Akvan had just woken up, with impeccable timing. Smiling to Nanari, Ningen followed slowly after her inside. He looked to the bedridden Akvan, before watching Isha follow him inside, making sure the floating machine didn't knock anything over. The boy waited next to his mechanical companion for Nanari to say or welcome Akvan back, whatever she needed to do. Finally glancing to Nanari, Ningen returned to how he'd started, this time fully bowing as he introduced himself. "It is a great joy to see you finally awake, Akvan. I am Ningen, Angel mechanic and close friend to his highness, Kakushin. He asked me to express his gratitude for everything you did the night at Baransu Tower, and what sacrifices you made to do so." Ningen slowly got up, ordering Isha to slowly land on the ground. "He also wanted me to deliver you a gift from all the Angelic race, in the hopes it might make repair some of what you lost." Ningen pressed a button on Isha, one that would open up his storage compartment. He carefully took out the boots, placing them on the ground in front of him so the others could actually see.

Nanari chuckled slightly, she doubted Hane would last that long, even if he hasn't accepted it. Hell, it wouldn't surprise her if he was still addressing Tenshi as 'your majesty' even with this sudden change. Nanari would have to visit both Aura and Dranar soon to see how her brothers were doing. But she turned her attention to Ningen before smiling softly, he had a kind heart, that much wasn't hard to tell. "Don't let Kakushin abuse that, because knowing him he will ask you to make the weirdest and wackiest things that have no use... Well maybe not that bad, but seeing how he's new in power im sure he will abuse that a little..." Nanari knew it wouldn't ever be anything bad, but it would have no use to anything besides his own enjoyment, and after the past seventeen years of Exitium taking things from people, she was sure both Kaku and Ruru especially would be working to give back for a change. Listening outside of Akvan's room, Nanari was pleased to hear he was awake as Tulus and Burea were making sure he was okay before walking in, smiling over to her brother as she sat next to him. "Hey Akvan, glad to see your finally awake, you've put everyone in a fright for the past week... How you feeling?" Giving him a slight hug, Nanari grabbed on of his hands and looked to Burea and Tulus slightly, they seemed to get the message, Tulus leaving to get in contact with the others, and Burea for water and such. Looking over to Ningen, Nanari thought it would be better to let Ningen explain things rather then her, even if part of her believed it would be too much for a newly awoken Akvan to take in.

Akvan watched the two enter, smiling to Nanari as she came closer. He felt like he recognised their guest, if only from a long time ago. Still, they came with good intent, as Akvan could read from their soul. So for now, he spent a moment with Nanari, glad she was doing well despite this week. He winced a little to the hug, or general movement. It didn't hurt to have his hand held, only when Akvan tried to move it. Definitely a muscular problem, which was good, since that was something fixable over time. He smiled a little, "I'm sorry for causing worry, i-it was just so hard to wake up." Akvan said, feeling a little guilty thinking how everyone worried over him. "But now I am awake... I don't feel too bad, aches and pains." He wanted to vent over how it felt knowing that even walking was an impossible wish now, but Akvan wasn't given time. The Angel, Ningen as he soon introduced himself, was here for something like that. It felt weird to have someone bow to him, let alone thank Akvan for what he'd done. "It's fine... I did what had to be done, I don't expect to be rewarded for it." Needless to say, Ningen was here to give a gift from all Angels, and Akvan couldn't say he wasn't curious about it. He leaned to the side a bit to frown at what Ningen brought out from his strange box friend. Sitting in silence as Akvan couldn't make out what these boots were for, or had already guessed it, and just didn't want to believe it was even possible. "T-the gift is?" Akvan muttered, feeling his throat close up. Either the idea of what Ningen was giving Akvan was almost too much to emotionally hold together, or Akvan was still exhausted. Either way, listening to Ningen's description, Akvan felt his eyes water.

Ningen decided on taking this work in his stride. He'd never really delivered gifts to people, or worked on projects like this before, but Ningen already loved doing this. Just what it represented, how a life could be basically be saved by Ningen doing a simple piece of work, considering what he usually designed. Letting the reveal of his gift sink in, Ningen sat back on top Isha, smiling towards Akvan. "Is the chance to walk again." Ningen added onto Akvan's unfinished piece. "It might not be perfect, but I plan to continue this request as long as I can. I consider these as just prototypes, constructing you the perfect replacement legs will take time, but it's something I'd gladly enjoy making." Ningen had all sort of plans for this, so long as Akvan was willing to even accept a gift like this. If he was, then perhaps by monitoring the user, Ningen could go and create better prosthetics, ones perfectly suited to Akvan's use of magic and everything. Ningen's head was already buzzing with ideas with this new kind of engineering he'd be asked to try, and he almost forgot that things weren't go until Akvan gave the word. Ningen hopped down, knelling on the floor to begin a better demonstration, one he didn't know if the others would even be able to follow. "I designed even these prototypes to mirror the muscle action of normal limbs. It's made of high class, Gold nine and part of Gold thirteen, which makes it incredibly durable and also lightweight. Around the ankle I made enough resistance to provide balance and support, and also made it so they are detachable, though remain hard to do so, just so they don't fall off randomly." Ningen stated as he pointed to particular parts. Finally standing up, Ningen assessed the two's expressions. "However, I cannot proceed with anything, unless given your complete consent, Akvan. To attach them requires you to be fit enough, even if you claim so now, I'll need to run checks to prove so myself." And that was where Isha came in, though his mechanical friends time to shine would come later.

Nanari suspected that Akvan would be in a little pain, his body wouldn't heal that fast even with her magic influence. But knowing he was awake and able to understand what was going on was enough for now, smiling over to him, Nanari squeezed his hand gently. "Don't be sorry Akvan, you needed the sleep... Im glad you got so much, and I intend for you to get more... Everyone was worried because you were in bad shape, now we can put their minds at ease. Okay?" Looking over to the door as Burea returned, Nanari handed Akvan the glass of water before sitting back a little. "Take small sips while Ningen explains things to you, I will be back in a second, going to grab some herbs for pain relief." Giving a slight nod to Ningen, Nanari rushed into her room to find what she needed, before making a small mixture for Akvan to have. Tasted awful, but did wonders to relief any amounts of pain... The main ingredient something she could only pick up in Aura, so it was no wonder why it worked so well. Heading back into the room just as Ningen finished speaking, Nanari handed him the mixture, something he was familiar with seeing from his visits, before resuming her earlier position. "I would like to do some checks as well, just to make sure your body will be ready as well. And don't try arguing with this, if your not ready, it might make things worse for you..." Looking up as she saw a flash of blue, Nanari smiled over to Tulus. "I have gotten word to the Mun Clan about Akvan's awakening... We may be getting visitors soon... Though I have warned not to turn up within the next hour or so..."

Akvan had slowly brought himself to sit up throughout everything, though it spiked a pain in his stomach, things soon calmed down enough for Akvan to relax against the bed. He smiled to Nanari, feeling blessed to know her, in all honesty. Of all people to go and help someone like Akvan out, it felt more than luck to have Nanari as a loving sister. He glanced to the glass of water, doing his best to take it from Nanari when his hands refused to move properly. Fortunately Burea hung next to him, able to hold up the glass before Akvan almost dropped it. Sniffing to get rid of the surprised and happy tears, Akvan took a small drink before listening to Ningen's description of things. Akvan didn't know what else to think other than of the idea that he might just get to walk again. Akvan's face seemed unhappy and solemn, though inside he was gleaming right now. "Thank you Ningen, I don't like accepting gifts but... b-but this one too, miraculous, to refuse so easily." Both Ningen and Nanari seemed hell bent on making sure they had a healthy patient before granting the gift to Akvan. But Akvan didn't want to wait anymore, and sleep for another week or something. If his legs were still there now, Akvan would already be up and going to see others. He sighed as he swallowed down the herbs, recognising one of Nanari's concoctions easily. Swallowing again at the taste, Akvan looked from one to the other. "I know that even if I say I feel fine, you'll both double check anyway." His head turned with everyone else's when Tulus returned, and for once Akvan openly chuckled at what the feline said. "I think we should all have learnt by now, that the Mun clan never listens to warning." Akvan stated. He wanted time alone to think through all this, but if his friends and family knew, then Akvan also knew there'd be no stopping them. It would take minutes, or seconds before others turned up at the window, or waltz right into the house.

Ningen smiled, what Akvan said was true. The two would do their checks, with or without permission. As Nanari, and one of her feline friends came and spoke, Ningen took the chance to go around the back of Isha. He felt against the metallic black metal, before finding a small, disguised button. Pressing it released a smaller cube section off Isha, like a miniature version that moved to float over everyone. Controlling it from the back of Isha, Ningen sent the cube to float directly above Akvan's bed. Silently, Ningen ordered it to scan below, sending results back towards Ningen to read. He hummed quietly to himself. "Well your vitals are fine, bones are healthy. Blood supply is still low, probably due to the quantity you lost, which means energy wise, there isn't much." Even after a week of nothing but sleep and recovery, Akvan was still pretty weak. To Ningen, it just went to show the extent this guy must have gone to that night. Ningen called the cube back onto Isha, who then quietly hummed as he floated up into the air. Ningen pondered for a moment, before addressing both, though looking to Nanari. "He can handle the implants, but actually moving anywhere isn't a possibility when still so exhausted." If it made Akvan happy to just have them there, then Ningen was happy to hand over prosthetics today, the only issue that came with was that the stubborn man could use his new legs to get up and leave somewhere when still needing rest. It was cruel, but having a legless Akvan would come with less risk of him running off. If Akvan even had a desire to leave, Ningen didn't know what was going on in that guy's head, nor did he want to think about it. Ningen sat back on another chair to think over it all, ordering Isha to sit in a corner out of the way until a conclusion was found. So absorbed in thought, Ningen almost missed the moment when others were heard close by.

Note: Hada is NPC
The last week of the Mun clan had been a very mixed time indeed. During the day, everyone was very busy, tending to sick or wounded, talking about that night, about how it seemed so miraculous and no one died. Well, all except one brave kid, and it was shame Zuura didn't get to know Art before the night of terror. But he had been the only in-clan casualty, everyone else had minor wounds here and there, but it was nothing compared to the first fight held in Dranar. And who did everyone have to thank for that? The very person they'd considered rejecting for lying to them. Zuura had never bought Akvan's little 'lying will be best' thing, and felt bad to see his best friend given a bad welcome when showing the real him. But Zuura hadn't ever been worried. Akvan loved this clan almost as much as the Nephalem, and would have been determined to win his way back in. But of all ways to do so, daring death like that to prove himself was such a typical Akvan, or Flood thing to do. Reckless, selfless, and kind of cool in a dangerous way. So during the day, everyone was in silent respects. Words on the constant condition of their ally was getting old now, Zuura pretended not to be worried when receiving the same news every day. But during the night, to lift the spirits of those still in shock from all that had transpired, Zuura held many a celebration. Drinking in respect for the fallen, in cheers for those still living today. Every night, it seemed like the terrors happening around the clan in under a month were simple and easy to forget.
Zuura yawned, lying in the centre of clan grounds as others walked around him, ignoring their eccentric leader's usual antics. He'd almost fell asleep, until his acute hearing picked up a cute little critter speaking out towards the clan. Zuura pulled himself up, looking towards the crowd that had gathered around their small visitor with big news. After hearing it, most simple smiled, accepting the good news and moving on to their duties with a brightened expression. Though a few stuck around, seemingly glued to the spot in joy. Zuura pulled himself up, walking over to Hada as she shook like a leaf. Zuura gleamed after hearing the news, looking at Akvan's sister before marching forwards, dragging Hada by the wrist. "Well Sleeping beauty's not gonna come to us!" Zuura announced. "Wait Zuura! Tulus told us to wait a bit before going over." Zuura stopped to frown, nose shrivelled up. "Wait? What's that mean?" Before Hada could reply, Zuura nodded to Labari before continuing his march into a run. A run from Baransu to Minato, it's neighbouring town, would usually take perhaps half and hour. Zuura and the merry band of followers that struggled to keep up, made it in just under ten minutes. Poor Hada had probably lost feeling in her arm, relieved when Zuura released it, and happy when the clan leader pointed out the house. Obviously Zuura was the first to march through the door, only to be shoved by Hada as she got into the room first. Skipping her way around everything, Hada cared not for manners, or to even think of Akvan's condition as she hooked an arm around his neck. "Took you long enough!" Hada commented, holding tightly onto her brother for what felt like a good few minutes. Zuura knew he'd missed his chance at first intrusion, and so hung back whilst siblings talked. He instead had his attention pulled towards Nanari, not having visited over the last few days and missing his adorable medic. "Hello hello Nari! How's our buddy been? Many injuries? Was he covered in blood?"

Labari almost broke down in tears of joy at the news of her brother awakening, she had never felt more worried for anyone then she did the past week, hearing the same thing time and time again. And even though she wanted nothing more then to quickly head down and make sure he was okay in person, Labari watched as Zuura and Hada, alongside a few others went to do so... And after nodding to Zuura, Labari stayed behind for a few extra minuets to make sure the Mun Clan would be okay without their leader while they visited, the wounded still needing attention. Once settled that things would be okay, Labari was quick to hop onto Equus and follow far behind the others to Minato, reaching the familiar house just as the others entered. Wasting no more time, Labari stormed past the others and went straight to hugging Akvan alongside Hada, tears pouring down her face... She knew it was probably a bad idea considering his wounds, but right now she was too relieved to care. "Thank goodness your alright, I thought we lost you for a moment there." Looking up to Akvan, Labari lightly smacked him around the head. "Thank you for what you did... But your a bloody idiot for it..."
