Art still hurt everywhere. Exitium and Mujihi's fun may have been more exaggerated than it should have been, because Art had encouraged them. So the pain he felt should be his own blame. And because of the extent of his injuries, Exitium had to add a little magic into Art's red rope. The best kind of treatment a Demon could give a Human, Art's fragile body was kept together by the King's strange Oblivia magic. Art looked possessed, his body being covered in a faint red aura. But Art didn't care, he knew the pain was his own fault, and he accepted it. Because it felt good to annoy the Demon King, after years of silently accepting his fate. Art would have laid down his life right there and then in the throne room, if he'd not been sent on the job soon after, being given the safety of his family as a threat to the Iwa. Taking soft, long breaths, Art crept along the border to the Mun clan. The date of his attack was made perfectly no doubt, since Art had gotten the closest any ordinary spy had gotten, without being killed by the clan leader or his close followers. Art's eyes were moving around everywhere, listening to the quiet clan. Perhaps everyone were elsewhere, because the housing area of the open clan was almost deserted. All but one, who happened to be the very man Art was sent to look for. To be honest, the target's appearance startled Art a bit- He looked just like Dad. Art shook his head, of course, this Mizetto was once a member of the Iwa clan, so he'd obviously share their looks to some degree. But he wasn't Iwa anymore, his blood was tainted with Demons, and Art would should him no more mercy than he'd show any with a tail and fangs.
Glaring, Art watched Mizetto walk a little further from the housing area, summoning a few floating stone from the ground quietly, picking only the sharp pieces of earth. He also drew his knife, but knew he'd be dead if he cut Mizetto with it, as well as the poor Demon. Hiding behind a tree, Art took one last breath, looking from the reddened skies, to his rope accessory, and then to Mizetto. Lifting a hand, Art sent his stones flying at the Demon. With this kind of surprise, Mizetto should already be defeated, though Art didn't check yet. "The Demon King requires your presence, Mizetto, and he is not taking no for an answer any longer." Art said from behind his tree, finally jumping around from the cover to expect to see a knocked out Demon.

The clan seemed to be going through a mellow period. Sure, many plans were being made to attack the mad King in the sky, but apart from that, things were quiet. The calm atmosphere didn't seem to rub off on Mizetto though. He was as nervous as ever, especially imaging the birth of his kids being right around the corner now. Any day, according to Nanari. Mizetto swallowed hard, leaving the empty hut in the housing area. Ari was with Takeo right now, probably catching up with him and his 'friend' and perhaps meeting Nanari. Obviously, the soon-to-be father wanted to be around, but he'd been hovering over Ari's shoulder like a spirit for so long now, it was almost forced upon Mizetto to take a day for himself. Sighing, Mizetto couldn't think of anything else other than what might happen soon. And he couldn't tell if his upset stomach was due to being excited, or incredibly fearful right now. He planned on perhaps heading out into Rycora to train or something, let his mind focus on magic training rather than other matters. But as he walked, Mizetto felt something in the air. A similar presence, or at least similar in magic. He didn't think much of it, too sleep deprived and worried about other things to give it much thought. But he was certainly woken up when he barely missed an onslaught of magic-infused rocks. Whilst he dodged the first and blocked most of the others, one did catch him on the leg as it fell. Wincing, Mizetto soon glared at the one in charge of this petty attack. When hearing the Demon King's name, Mizetto had assumed another underling, but this boy was Human, and certainly didn't look the type to be serving a Demon royalty. "Really? Well I'm not listenin' to a damn thing that Demon bastard says anymore... not like I ever have." Mizetto wasn't in the mood for a fight, especially one so repetitive like the ones against Exitium's goons. So, with a quick movement, Mizetto forced the ground under the boy to rise up fast, hopefully shaking the kid off and giving him a good enough message of where their difference in magic stood. The Demon tried moving back as well, flinching as his leg resisted. Bloody kid must have cut deeper than Mizetto thought.

Art didn't expect his attack to repelled so easily. But this ex-Iwa Demon was wanted by the Demon King for his great skill at earth magic. So even under a surprise attack, Mizetto reacted well. Though, he didn't block all the dangerous rocks, and that simple slice in his leg would be the Demon's downfall. There were others in the air right now, circling around to make sure no golden haired Demon flew off and escaped. And so with the sky and ground no longer escape options, so long as Art could be Mizetto at this game, he'd be captured for sure. So Art was still confident about this mission. He was more than prepared for Mizetto's attack, forcing his hand over the ground to steady it so that the rise Mizetto tried to make didn't occur. Art then jumped forwards, lifting the rocks into the air again, from all around Mizetto, to strike the Demon. "You have no choice. Exitium shall get his way, you will go to Dranar, whether it is your decision or not." Art replied. He knew their strengths varied greatly, Mizetto could defeat Art easily, given a few minutes. But being of the same type of magic, Art could drag the battle on for a while. Perhaps tired Mizetto out, making sure that the Demon couldn't get away as other servants of Exitium came down to try and please their King by helping to apprehend the target. "There is no way you can win, Mizetto. If I do not complete my mission, another will soon come."

Clue hadn't felt right all day. Things had been too quiet. Usually, all the Wolvine ever wanted was a nice lazy day to hang around with his masters and sleep, or talk. But today everyone was not only quiet, but missing. There weren't many scents in the air, and that troubled Clue. He liked people being around for him to follow or watch, but today the wolf was left alone. He'd taken up his time moving through the forest that lined the clan, roaming in his natural, four legged form. The Wolvine panted at his day was passing by so slowly, and wondered if Mizetto had woken up yet. Since Ari was away with Takeo today, Mizetto had taken the chance to sleep off his worries, which Clue got bored of watching over. But if he'd finally woken up, then perhaps Clue could find some way for his master to relax, and have fun to pass the time as well. Deciding on that, Clue turned around, tail bouncing as he trotted back towards the clan. He was stopped, by a wall of new and unfamiliar scents. At first instinct, Clue's head was on the ground, rummaging through the earthly smells. But then he heard a faint noise in the sky, and looked up, fur standing on end. It was like a small cloud of bats swarming in the sky. Demons, many of them, waiting for something. What really made Clue nervous was that they were hovering above the camp. Clue broke into a run, getting far on his wolf legs.
He slowed down as he heard voices and commotion, keeping hidden in the forestation as he observed. He didn't need to watch for long. As soon as he saw Mizetto being attacked, and the smell of his blood, Clue was off. The younger blonde boy was charged at from the side, and Clue didn't stop as he attacked. He dragged the intruder right onto the ground, biting down on his forearm that he used to defend himself. After the aggressive bite, Clue pulled back to Mizetto, sniffing at his injury. "Master, we must go. Demons are in the skies getting ready." Clue barked, turning to let Mizetto get on his back. Mizetto couldn't get away in the air, and he couldn't run. So Clue would have to act as the legs, if these scary people really were after Clue's Demon master for something. Once he was one, Clue dashed passed the grounded Human boy towards the forest, hoping to use the trees as cover.

Mizetto didn't like this kid. But he wasn't as ballsy about his disliking of someone as before. A younger Mizetto might have flipped by now, going full out to let out his anger. But today's Mizetto was still as hot headed as before, though he didn't always think without acting. Perhaps this kid had a reason for this. He didn't look well kept, and Mizetto guessed anyone who kept company like Exitium didn't always end up very well. So maybe the Demon could the kid some slack, if only he'd left Mizetto alone after the Demon refused to go with him. Mizetto felt the earth around him move as Art combated with his earth magic. The Demon was prepared this time, easily repelling the rocks before they even got close. "I told you, I ain't movin'. So just leave now before I have to hurt you, kid." Exitium's desire for Mizetto would probably never leave, the Demon got that. But it didn't mean he didn't want to try and find a way to be left alone by the very determined Demon King. Mizetto blocked a few more attacks, trying to ignore the flapping of wings that sounded closer and closer. It seemed a whole party was coming down to get some glory for this job. It was a pain, especially now of all times. But soon enough, a big fluffy hero emerged from the forest. Forcing the kid on the ground, Clue showed some of his rarely used violent side, before rushing to Mizetto. The Demon smiled to his friend, wanting to reward the strong Wolvine for the save, but knew they needed to move now. Mizetto was careful to climb on Clue's back, watching his leg, before putting his trust in the Wolvine to get them out of the situation. Even with the boy stunned on the floor, the Demons in the sky would know something had changed. Mizetto could already hear others approaching, and clung tight onto Clue's fur, hoping his brave buddy wasn't going to get swarmed or hurt. "I owe you Clue, but listen. Things get too hairy, and I want you to run and get help, got it fluff ball?" Mizetto commanded down to his loyal companion.

It seemed the others weren't just going to wait in the skies anymore. Art could hear them coming lower down, and it frustrated Art a bit as he fought against Mizetto. They clearly didn't see this job a simple enough deal for the from birth assassin to deal with, and wanted some of the credit for their Demon and selfish selves. And as well as that, they were doing nothing but making it easier to notice the situation. A flock of Demons hovering just over a clan, not many could miss that when close enough, and if the clan leader caught sight of it, well the entire mission would be done for. Gritting his teeth, Art just needed to distract Mizetto for long enough to get close and incapacitate him for good. The red rope Mujihi had given to Art should do the trick, the one he kept looped around his belt. And Mizetto was keeping up well so far, and Art knew he'd have to use the devil rope, since this fight wouldn't be won by defeating the powerful Demon. But as Art was ready to jump into his plans, something pounded in down onto the ground. Art's shoulders burned as they slammed onto the ground, the boy looked terrified up to the wall of teeth. Some sort of monster, appearing out of the forest and crushing Art in a few seconds. The slave tired protecting himself, but the wolf used that to its advantage, biting down hard on Art's arm. Holding down the urge to cry in pain, Art was left on the ground trying to recuperate what had just happened. He could hear the thumping foot steps of the wolf creature as it carried away their target, and as they got further away, Art felt his neck tickle in pain. He couldn't let them leave the area, or Art's red rope would make him suffocate. So he struggled to his feet, going around the forest area to try and cut them off at the next opening. In the skies, the hoard of Demons were splitting around like fire. Some went down after the two, one came towards Art, and all the rest swarmed the forest to set up traps in case their running target got close. Art glanced to the Demon flying near him. "I don't need your help, this mission was given to me by the King, and only me." Art spat as he ran, holding his arm as the bite continued to pulse in pain. It wasn't deep, only cutting into muscle, and not crushing bone. So it would heal, but it put Art at a disadvantage for now. The Demon near him huffed, "We don't care. This mission won't be complete by a grounded insect like you kid, not alone. We'll cut them off, you get rid of that wolf, and then complete the mission, got it? And make sure to mention our valiant efforts in capturing the target when taking him to King Exitium." Art jumped over a small stream, pretending to ignore the Demon, watching him fly off to join his own kind. So many reasons to hate Demons, and Art didn't have the time right now to count how much he hated them. Instead he made a beeline towards the area where many of the Demons were gathering, knowing they must had netted the target by now. Art summoned a small rock to follow him, keeping up with his running speed before the Human sent it hurtling forwards, right from the shadowy forest at the Wolvine's head, hopefully pulling him out of the fight.

The wolf didn't know where to run to, but for once Clue didn't have a goal in mind, other than get away from the Human boy and Demons flying down from the sky. IT would be tough, but keeping to the thicker parts of the forest, Clue mostly evaded them. Some managed to cut through the tree lines, but fell short as Mizetto hit them back with his magic, or Clue dodged around a tree. Being stuck on the ground was sometimes the best situation, it meant breaking things such as wings weren't an issue. Panting, Clue made a sharp left away from the group of Demons he could smell ahead of them, trying to ignore Mizetto's request. A hard thing to do for a Wolvine slave who was bound by invisible ties to always follow the command of his master. But for once in their relationship, Clue didn't know if he could do as Mizetto asked. Not leave him in a situation like this. For the obvious reason of wanting to protect his master, and fearing what might happen to Mizetto if Clue's other master caught wind that her Demon was being reckless. Especially at a time like this. So Clue was very inclined to ignore what Mizetto asked, instead focused on dodging the attacks. He felt as though they were clear, not hearing anymore Demons with his good ears. But Clue was forced into a stop as he got to an opening. There were a circle of Demons, holding steady and blocking any magic attacks. Clue bared his teeth, though he didn't dare attack whilst each Demon was armed and ready. And Clue didn't get the chance to look for openings, as he didn't see the boy approach. All he saw was the blur of a rock, and after that, Clue crashed onto the ground, blacking out.

Things didn't get better as they ran. These Demons were more relentless than ever. Obviously this was Exitium's last thread of patience, either Mizetto was captured by these Demons now, or Exitium would slaughter them all and come down himself. And if that was true, then sooner or later Mizetto would be at the Demon King's mercy. And right now, that wasn't what Mizetto wanted. Not for a good few more years, Mizetto would avoid capture for as long as he could, act like the wanted criminal he had felt like for seventeen years, all if it meant keeping away from that creep in the sky. He didn't concentrate on that now, Clue was putting himself in a lot of danger for the wanted Demon, the least Mizetto could do was keep the Demons off his tail. Mizetto moved the earth around them, making sure those flying Demons that got too close hit tree or rock, and slowly it began to look like they were out of range. But Clue stopped abruptly, as a circle of Demons had formed in front of them. Mizetto attempted to push the group away with rocks, until the Wolvine beneath him collapsed to the side. Mizetto jumped off not to be crushed by the big brown wolf, allow he dropped to Clue's head as the Wolvine collapsed. He'd been hit hard, hard enough to knock the thick skull of a Wolvine out. "Clue! Buddy, dammit, please be ok." Mizetto shouted down to the sleeping Wolvine, feeling against his fluffy head. Growling, Mizetto felt a small trickle of blood dribble off Clue's furry head, and the ground around them shook. The violent shakes would be felt miles away, but Mizetto found no other way to express his anger right now. And all was aimed at the bastard kid that had knocked Clue out. Mizetto forgot all pity for this boy, not after hurting the innocent Clue like that. Mizetto couldn't focus on Art, not before catching a glimpse of the other Demons attacking. Some threw fire or knives, and Mizetto had to turn to summon rock pillars to block each, only ignore Art for a split second. But in that heart beat, the slave boy found the opportunity to do something. And just like that, feeling something tighten around his neck, Mizetto all of a sudden couldn't breath.
