Note: Go crazy with post order, and enjoy the food and song and 1300 word post The only remaining part of the Mun clan that was underground was the Hall. Used by everyone, it was full of tables and people talking. Children ran around, pretending to be Dragons or Knights, and Clan members talked about their jobs whilst enjoying a good meal with family to relax and unwind. These days, more and more of the conversations anchored towards the world's issues, mourning over deaths, or plotting together ideas to present when the clan was to strike back. All the things were common of the Mun clan, and once used to it, one could no cherish the friendly atmosphere. Being Friday night, Flood was in charge of handing out the night time meal, as well as entertaining the worried souls of his friends and clan mates. Flood himself was in a mixed mood. He'd met Chester that day, without her finding out who he was under the Eteru mist, and their conversation had sinking results. Flood didn't want to think about it, and instead only tried to focus on the fact that tonight she agreed to possibly come by the clan for the night. Along with others, whilst food might be an issue, Flood and everyone in the clan would welcome the new company. Flood's mood had been dampened by his sisters. Going to Hada as she cooked in the clan-wide kitchen and telling her to prepare extra for guests, only to have Hada hit him full force on the head with the hilt of her sword when he told her who the guests were. She called Flood crazy, already seeing his plan to keep secret from Chester and Gensho as cruel and unnecessary. Then Labari approached him as well, obviously being told by Hada who was coming, and gave him another piece of advice to what an idiot he was. Flood knew all of that, he'd felt his own stupidity when even talking to Chester in the first place. But Flood didn't know what made him give into the risk and the idiocy, perhaps it was his non-existent heart. Flood made his way across the room. Scattered around were copies of himself, serving people drinks silently and handing out food plates. Flood himself was going to prepare the small stage for tonight's performance. It was a very small stage, a ten foot square platform people stood on to entertain, but everyone still adored what it added to the Hall's atmosphere either way. Just before Flood reached the stage, he saw and smiled to a little Demon girl, standing and staring up at the platform. "Care to do a bit of singing yourself?" Flood asked softly. The little girl almost jumped, before seeing the white shadow of a man and giggling a little. "Nah, I think it's a little scary standin' up there in front of everyone." Chuckling, Flood knelt down to her level. "It's very scary, and very brave. Once you get used to it, you won't even know the difference between the ground and the platform." The little Demon smiled, as most young Mun clan members did when they saw the 'super cool' shadow man that Flood was known as. It was similar to being famous, if more appreciated in the clan than out in Sohul. "Would you like to join me?" Flood asked, and the little girl lit up with a smile. Smiling in return, Flood offered a hand to help her up onto the stage, before the little Demon girl settled down a bit, staring wide eyed at everyone before sitting down on the edge of the platform. Flood surveyed the room, stopping to give a second glance to certain known faces. It wasn't hard for everyone to notice their white-mist host standing there, and soon the room hushed until Flood could hear nothing but soft, polite whispers. He cleared his voice, too used to this now to be timid and shy like he'd once been. And, with his face covered like this, Flood felt plenty more confident being host to so many people. "I hope this Friday has memorable for you all. And we pay our thanks to Hada for the food, as well as our respect to those still working for our survival here, and those who have lost their lives trying to do so." The room went even more silent as people nodded in agreement. "Also," Flood added to change subjects, "We welcome our guests tonight, wherever they may be in the room, and hope that the Mun clan has painted a good impression on them." Going for another pause, Flood opened out his hand, summoning his light shadow magic to make certain objects. Just in front of the stage, Flood created half a dozen violins, floating as if being played by someone, when actually playing themselves perfectly to the tune in Flood's head. As usual, and to great effect, Flood also made his magic flow around the room until it covered the floor in a misty, white meadow. He summoned small creatures from his magic, small birds and animals known and loved by the clan. Many assumed the Mun clan was all about darkness, when in fact, the clan represented a love of night, nature and life just as much. There was a soft glow in peoples eyes as they watched the magic around them, painting a living picture of life in it's simplest, yet fondest form. Flood did this almost every night he entertained, and yet the happiness it gave those in the room remained the same. Those who had lost someone, were comforted by forms made of white shadows, in their minds picturing it as their beloved, giving them regards and comfort. Those alone were surrounded by gentle creatures, keeping them company through the moment. The little girl before Flood was gasping quietly to herself as she watched light shadow wolves approach her feet, allowing her to pat their heads. And finally, smiling to himself, Flood could settle everyone down further with a song. He didn't mind singing, it gave the Sun child a chance to embrace emotions that he refused to show elsewhere, and had a natural talent for it from his origins. Picking one of his songs from his head, Flood began, amplifying his own voice with magic so that every corner of the room could hear it: "May it be an evening starShines down upon youMay it be when darkness fallsYour heart will be trueYou walk a lonely roadOh! How far you are from homeMornie utulieBelieve and you will find your wayMornie alantieA promise lives within you nowMay it be the shadow's callWill fly awayMay it be you journey onTo light the dayWhen the night is overcomeYou may rise to find the sunMornie utulieBelieve and you will find your wayMornie alantieA promise lives within you nowA promise lives within you now"Mini Note: Song is 'May it be' by Enya sang in male voice (obviously) Language used is Elvish, and is Mun Clan's native tongue Once finished, Flood ended in his usual manner. He bowed, removing his hat as he did, and smiled politely to the crowd as everyone clapped slowly. Applauding in gratitude more than in awe, as their faces were warm and happy and calm. Bowing his head once more, Flood allowed his light shadows to continue around the room for a little bit longer, as he smiled down to the little Demon girl. She'd almost fallen into a peaceful sleep at the end of the song, a light shadow wolf's head resting on her lap. Making sure she knew he was there, Flood quietly carried her to a table he'd memorized that belonged to her guardians. After that, it was simply a matter of talking around the room, hearing stories and receiving thanks.

Chester walked into the base terrified. Gensho alongside her, luckily. She didn't speak, over whelmed by just how many people filled the room, and she instantly regretted coming... But Gensho seemed happy to be here, so she would endure it for him. Pulling Gensho to a empty corner of the room, well the emptiest corner, Chester took a breath. "I wont make you stay here and hang with me... But know I will be here or have left if it gets too much..." Sending a small smile to Gensho, Chester leaned against the wall and made herself as small as possible. She wanted as few a people she could to see her, or at least make it known she didn't want to talk. "I know the kids, from what the Host has mentioned, love the stars and night sky... You should go and show them a few things and socialise..." In reality, Chester wanted Gensho to stay here and chat, but she knew he wouldn't be able to do that, not or the whole night... It would go against why they were here. Looking to the stage as someone, Flood she noticed spoke, she realised this must have been what he meant by entertainment. Taking a breath, Chester couldn't deny the beauty of the scene he created with the mist and the instruments... And when he sang, even Chester in her worst of states couldn't deny how good he actually was. Joining the clapping, Chester gave off a small smile, the words touching her heart in ways she didn't think possible anymore. Chester watched as Flood took the child that joined him to her guardians, and kept an eye on him to see if he noticed her... Hopefully he didn't, Chester not really wanting to talk to anyone just yet. But she did keep an eye on others, noticing Gensho around and Nanari in the corner talking to a couple of people... Everyone else was busy talking amongst themselves, and luckily for Chester, didn't seem to notice she was there.

Post by Gensho Night on Mar 6, 2015 19:26:54 GMT
Gensho contained his excitement for going to the clan. He'd learnt by now to hide his excitement well, and make sure he didn't expect too much. After all, he'd played the ultimate host himself once, and it didn't end the best. He didn't know what to expect about entering a hall again and 'partying' around with others. Gensho had done plenty of it over the seventeen years, but most of the time it had been to drink away his worries. He followed Chester to their corner, smiling to a few people who nodded his way as they walked. It seemed friendly enough, a gathering of the common person, rather than an extravagant and posh night club. Gensho thought it would be better the way it was, a little crowded, but for a place that offered shelter for the poor and troubled, that was a good thing. The God of Night tried his hardest to make it seem like he didn't want to go and talk to some of the Mun clan members. They did, after all, basically worship the night. For the God of such a thing, it was very hard not to want to ask them their opinions and converse about it. But Chester gave Gensho the signal to go off and be merry, and Gensho smiled slightly in sympathy. She was only here for him, and was willing to struggle through the time in a crowd for it. Nodding slowly, Gensho pulled Chester into a hug. "I won't be gone long. Thank you, Chester. If you do leave, please don't go far, I will want to know that I can still find you."
Walking off into the crowd of people, Gensho was soon welcomed to numerous tables, people knew his name, gave the night compliments, all making Gensho well up a bit. But he stopped his little tears when approached by a table-full of children. Aged from toddlers to young teens, they all gathered around Gensho's feet, giggling and pulling him down to their level. All were asking questions fast, or laughing and arguing amongst themselves, Gensho had to hold his hands up to get some word in. "Now, now, you can't all ask at once... How can I help you tiny people?" All the kids giggled, perhaps out of nervousness that the God of Night just spoke to them. A little girl raised her hand. "Ummm... Mr. God of Night, sir... Is it true that you make everything appear in the night sky? Even the stars?" She asked. Gensho smiled politely, "That I do, and please call me Gensho... but yes, I make the night sky every night. I pick the colour of the sky, and arrange all of the stars perfectly for people to look at and follow." There were some subtle noises from the children, before an older girl spoke. "But you don't always keep them the same! My pa told me that when he watched the sky a long time ago, there were two added constellations." Before Gensho replied, an equally older boy spoke neck to her, perhaps a brother. "That's right, he said the entire clan started adding the new stars to their charts and drawings. What exactly are they, Mr. Gensho?" The boy asked. Gensho looked around the group, playfully gesturing them closer until they formed a tight circle. Holding his hand out in the middle, Gensho summoned a smaller version of the star constellations around them in a circle above the children's heads. Some of the kids gasped, and others tried to grab the little sparkling lights. "They are constellations I made a long time ago for my brothers. They've gone to a special place, you see, where I can't see them anymore." Gensho pointed up, "They are in the sky now, and so I decided to make something in the stars where I could look up and remember them, as could the world." Gensho then pointed out the two small constellations, following their pattern with his finger. "That's Onrah, the skull constellation, for my older brother who used to give out small stone skulls as gifts to his close friends. Then this smaller one is Akvan, the sunrise constellation, for my twin brother, who simply loved watching the sun rise everyday. I look at them at night, and remind myself of who they represent." Before the children could ask anymore, they were called off by various parents and guardians, all to eat their dinners. Gensho was handed his, going to one of the walls to eat it, whilst talking to the full table of lost Demons. When everyone had just finished, their attention was drawn to the front, where the host planned to entertain. This man was Flood, Gensho recognised the face from descriptions he heard often in the street. A person fighting for a cure to the world, and who Gensho could respect for trying. His song was soul-touching, and Gensho almost felt like crying. He'd always enjoyed a good song, not being able to sing himself, and never getting the shy Akvan to sing for him. There was something in the music and the words that made the world feel a little less horrid when expressed. Gensho composed himself, clapping along with the others and watching Flood's magic go around the room. He saw a flash of blue by his side, watching his blue skull wake up and float through the misty white grass. Some of the children from earlier came back, ready to hear more as Gensho showed them the skull familiar.

Post by Zuura on Mar 6, 2015 20:28:54 GMT
Zuura was fashionably late as usual. Though for once, he actually had an excuse for not being around to eat. He'd been feeding his birds outside of the clan on the carcass of a dead Demon, one of the Demon King's servants looking to spy on his clan. Zuura had made sure his beloved crows got the safe bits of Demon meat that wouldn't upset their stomachs, before returning to the clan grounds, covered in splotches and bloody hand-prints. Humming to himself, Zuura picked up the pace when he heard the violins that began Flood's song. Zuura was so glad he'd forced Flood into singing so many years ago, the boy had a good voice on him, and the way he made the room feel the music, not just hear it, really boosted spirits of the clan. It was as if Flood was the clan's mascot, as he was the one Zuura trusted the most, and that gave the clan hope a Dark Clan never would have felt without him. Entering the room, his crows flying in after him to scavenge off people's food plates, no one gave a second glance to the bloodied clan leader. Zuura was covered in black feathers, dirt and blood from the fight/one-sided murder of the Demon spy, and yet it was so second nature for others to see Zuura like this now. He remained silent through Flood's song, before clapping loudly and faster than everyone else. He gave Flood a wave, before letting the second in charge go around and carry on hosting. Humming the song back in his head, Zuura looked around, eyes focusing on someone out of the ordinary atmosphere of the room.
The clan leader approached like a sneaky shadow, before leaning against the wall next to the woman, and huddled his head down to his neck like she was. He was silently copying her for a few moments, before shaking his head. "Hmmm... nope, don't get it... this isn't fun at all" He stated finally, before turning to face her. "Whatcha doing here all lonely lonesome? Stomach ache? Someone being mean? Scared of tables?" Zuura paused, leaning down to look at the woman's face. "Come to think of it, who are you anyway? You don't smellie of Mun clan, are you one of our guests?" Zuura's mind finally popped into the right gear, and he remembered where he'd seen her face before. "I know! I know! I know! You're Chester!" Zuura exclaimed, leaning a little closer. "Floodie talks about you aaaaall the time." He whispered, before giggling. "Well Missy, welcome to my clan! I'm Zuura, in charge of looking after everyone, and making sure our enemies go squish!" He picked some feather fluff off his bloodied hands, looking around the room. "Don't like being around other huh? Might make them all sickie?" Zuura asked, before nodding his head as if already hearing the answer. "Well don't worry, we're too weird for that... I mean, I'm walking around here looking like this..." Zuura gestured to himself. "I'm completely covered in clothes that are far too casual for Flood's fancy night." Zuura added, picking his fingers again.

Chester closed her eyes and took a deep breath when someone came and stood next to her. She hoped people would see that she didn't want to talk, and would leave her alone, it seemed many knew who she was, or were heeding the words Flood told her earlier in the day exclaiming how she would want to be left alone... But it seemed this man didn't get the message. Balling her fists, and counting in her head in a hope to calm herself down from the onslaught of questions and close proximity, she could only hope Gensho or Nanari would notice and come and save her. But her anger was quickly replaced with a small sense or curiosity... Flood talked about her? She knew he had been following her for years, but they had only spoken today... So it was surprising to hear, and Chester kept it in mind to ask later. Zuura? She had heard of him a little from Nanari, the crazy, almost psycho maniac leader, but a good guy according to Nanari, and so he must be... But not from what she saw in front of her... "Yeah, too casual... And I don't want to talk to people in general... Im only here for my brother, I believe he also has something to ask of you, he's..." Chester took a quick look around before finding him near a group of Demons, "Right over there..." Pointing in the direction that Gensho was, Chester hoped Zuura would get the message and leave her be. Taking a small step away from him, Chester went back to her previous pose, complaining in her head that she couldn't get out fast enough.

From here on, the night should slowly die itself down. The families with children would slowly fade off to go and sleep, and Flood's misty magic would slowly evaporate. Now it just a matter of making sure everyone was happy, they had a drink, and no one was left alone. Flood tried to take a moment to look around for Chester, already seeing Gensho, and so knowing she'd be around somewhere. But before he could look around, a group of the more rowdy members grasped Flood's shoulders. "Oi Flood! Great song mate, almost made the miss' cry! So anyway, us boys were wonderin' when you was next gonna go attack those Demon King followers." Flood felt a little tense around the bulky men, even if he could defeat them easily, and knew how much they respected him inside. Akvan was always nervous with close contact, and Flood had learnt to be no better at it. Politely removing the man's hand, Flood looked around the friendly thugs. "Soon... I can't decide on a date yet, and until I'm sure we can handle it, I shall treat it as if we are never going to attack, so that he doesn't get word. But we have more allies now, and I promise the clan will be updated as soon as I know exactly what we are doing." The men huffed, probably not completely pleased by the answer, but accepting it anyway. Flood took a moment to look around, finally spotting Chester properly. She was still against the wall, but had someone 'keeping her company'. Excusing himself from the guys, Flood moved swiftly to the other side of the room, his misty form moving easily around and through people. He came up behind Zuura, rolling his eyes mentally at the clan leader's appearance. He pulled at Zuura's scruff to get the man's attention. "Zuura, so glad I've found you... you still owe me those reports from last month, and since we're here, why don't you-" Flood didn't need to continue. From the word reports, Zuura was off like a timid little pup. He always avoided Flood when it came to the written part of their job, because Zuura never did it, and Flood always hounded him for the lack of reports or finished letters. It was annoying, but useful, that using the very word meant that Flood could get Zuura to leave if the clan leader forced himself into conversations he didn't need to be in. Watching the clan leader go, running across the room for a short while before spotting Gensho and tackling the poor God to the ground in a hug. Flood winced as his brother was 'attacked' though he knew Zuura wasn't out to harm, he was probably fanboying over meeting such a Mun clan famous Demon God. Flood sighed, turning to nod to Chester. He didn't speak yet, knowing he'd promised her a quiet evening without any hassle like having to talk to others. And, when the Sun child did decide to try and say something, his attention was pulled away again.

Post by Ari Shirudo on Mar 6, 2015 21:54:04 GMT
Ari always had a blast within the Clan, especially on Fridays when everyone seemed happier, and the entertainment was always amazing. But tonight Ari couldn't enjoy it as much, her child kicking a lot more often in her late stage of pregnancy, and she was a little concerned that something was the matter... Nanari explained it may be because she was bigger for a single child carrier, and because she was an Angel... Ari still couldn't get over that fact, and she was ever so grateful when everyone in the Clan excepted it, though the 'congratulations' given when she walking into the Clan after the announcement was a little more then expected, and she was especially happy when her father cried and didn't kill Mizetto, well physically anyway, she's sure to this day he's still killing him in his mind. Anyways, Ari was looking for Flood, knowing he would be able to tell if something was wrong. Noticing him in the corner with another, Chester as Ari could recall from many years ago when the Jiko-Jiko festival was still running, she felt bad for planning to interrupt, but Ari was a frantic mother, and needed to know if her baby was okay. Hobbling off her seat next to Mizetto, Clue and Nanari, after leaving a quick kiss to Mizetto, Ari headed over slowly, gently grabbing Flood by the arm. "Flood, sorry to interrupt, but I need to ask you something.... My child is kicking a lot more then normal, and Nanari mentioned im larger then what's considered normal... Im worried, mind doing your soul thingamajig and checking on them. Please?"

Mizetto tried not to yawn, but he felt exhausted. Something the father should never really say out loud, but he really was. Because he didn't sleep much, staying away just to make sure Ari was sleeping comfortably, or lying awake in worry over how soon the due date was coming along. The Demon both hated and loved how this little child growing inside of Ari was turning him into a worried mess. The egotistical and always confident Mizetto was getting worried, and he didn't think any point in the future would get rid of that concern. He had more people in his life he wanted to protect and keep safe, whilst that was forever wonderful, it meant the carefree Mizetto was becoming a thing of the past. Not that he'd admit that through his ego, keeping his fears internal as he remained a confident if tired supportive figure for Ari. Flood's song almost sent Zetto to sleep, if Nanari hadn't spoken some more. Mizetto felt bad for it, but the idea of their kicking so much made Mizetto almost proud. Like the little guy or girl in there was already acting like it's violent and rowdy parents. Clue was looking around at the magic effects, wagging his tail as each passed him. The Wolvine was as concerned as Mizetto, but was much more verbal about it, especially since his grasp on what exactly was going on was still pretty loose. Mizetto was jumped into complete concentration when Ari moved and gave him a kiss, but gave the poor mother a head start in moving. Once she was up, Mizetto and Clue jumped from their chairs, Clue nodded to Nanari, before the guys moved to follow by Ari's sides. She seemed to be heading for Flood, and Mizetto had already gathered as to why. Holding onto her shoulder gently, Mizetto smiled to Flood. "I'm sure the little guy is fine, but best to be sure right?" Mizetto added in his pseudo-calm voice.

Flood turned and smiled to the three members. Here was something that genuinely warmed Flood's ice cold soul, this young couple and their impossible, and yet wonderful situation. When Flood had first found out, it had taken a lot of questioning, to the young parents and to his mother, as to how something like this could even happen. But this world, as Flood had explained before, fluctuated a lot, you could never know for certain what was a law of nature, or what was right and wrong. And so, eventually, Flood had stopped being so confused about it all, and offered his services to Ari and Mizetto if they ever needed help. The impossible creation they'd made would gather a lot of attention, and Flood made sure it was good attention, not the opposite. Flood had been keeping an eye on Ari's progress from afar. Whilst he could possibly handle being the medical assistance in the pregnancy, he preferred to let the far more experienced Nanari handle it. She'd taken care of a madness-drunk Flood once, so a pregnant Angel should be easy. So if Nanari thought something might be up, then something was up. Flood glanced to Chester, before nodding to the parents. "Of course, just stand still, and I'll see what's going on..." Flood answered. He closed and reopened his eyes, seeing the world in black and white in his soul vision. Everyone's souls were bright colours, and Ari's soul herself partially covered the babies. But Flood managed to focus in the vision to just her, staring in silence before blinking out of his vision. "Both souls are fine, they have more energy now that it's close to their due date, probably play fighting each other in there." Flood stated, smiling to Ari and Mizetto as the news was still good, as far he was aware.

Ari smiled over to Mizetto and Clue as they came over, giving Mizetto, another kiss. She knew he was a worry wart and tired, but made sure not to complain for her sake, it meant a lot, but she didn't want him sacrificing his health over her. She was fine, hell, Ari was still able to fight in the coming attack, despite everyone's protests against it. Taking a hold of Mizetto's hand, and ruffling up Clue's hair, Ari gave an amused smile to Mizetto. "Come on Mizeeto... We went over this, its going to be a girl..." Ari and Mizetto had been play arguing over gender of the child, he believing it to be a boy, and Ari a girl... Winner gets to kick the other out of bed when the child cries at night, only for the first couple of months though, then they will be taking turns. Smiling to Flood, Ari let him do his thing, hoping that the child was fine. But her smile dropped when Flood spoke... In a good, but shocked way... He said both, soul's and they right? "Erm, are you telling me there is more then, then one?" Ari was in shock when she found out she was pregnant in the first place, always under the fear that it wasn't true, and it was rare in itself.... But twins? That, that really was impossible, right? "Twins?" Ari held both hands over her huge stomach, feeling the child's... The kids kick where her hands were... Three kicks, two on one side, one on the other... It almost felt like eight, nine months again..

Mizetto smirked back to Ari, squeezing her shoulder slightly. Their bet was the only way to keep both of them from worrying too much about the kid, taking a guess at what they wanted it to be. Mizetto was almost certain it would be a boy, and his reason was because Zuura was the only Naphalem they could take examples from, and on the picture of the page Zuura had given them on Naphalems, the diagram looked male too. Mizetto would love his child no matter how they turned out, girl or boy. But he could picture a son, and that feeling in his gut made the Demon feel certain he'd win the bet. "Keep dreamin' tiny, it'll definitely be a boy." Mizetto replied. He'd agreed to the bet because he knew he'd win, and if by some chance he didn't, he always had Clue to help out. The Wolvine would be going through a whole new area of training, how to properly baby sit without smothering the child when he sensed danger. Amongst other things Mizetto was partly looking forward to. Keeping quiet as Flood did his weird sensory thing, and then the Demon froze. "Uh... did you say, 'Both'?" Mizetto asked, his voice almost squeaking as this news shocked his throat into clamping up. Ari seemed just as confused, and they both looked down. Mizetto was wide eyed and couldn't even fathom words for a good while. He was overjoyed, obviously, by being blessed with two children, but this went beyond the already impossible. Finally, Mizetto chuckled a bit, head still shaking in denial. "Well... What, what happens if we both win?"

Ari knew that no matter what her children would be loved and spoilt beyond belief, no matter the genders, but call it motherly instincts but she could feel that she was having twin girls, which would mean double the work for Mizetto... Honestly, she probably wouldn't go through with the bet, knowing she would worry to hear them cry... But that didn't mean she wouldn't take her win... If she won, with pride. Smiling to her stomach, still feeling the babies kick, Ari grabbed both of Mizetto's hands onto her stomach, chuckling as they kicked almost immediately when sensing their father. "Then we just take it in turns... But Mizetto... Twins... It was gift enough one, but two... Were having twins..." Ari could feel tears running down her face, happy ones of course, these babies would be loved so much... She just hoped that Mizetto didn't exhaust himself looking after them all. Looking over to Clue slightly, Ari took one of his hands to feel the babies kick, he was as much as the family as anyone else was, and she knew he would want to like he has before. "No wonder I felt them kicking a lot... They're probably play fighting..."

Chester was ever so grateful when Flood turned up and removed the strange man who thought it was a good idea to talk to her. But before he said anything, and Chester managed to swallow her pride and speak first, they were interrupted. Looking over, Chester felt a small ghost of a smile make her way onto her face for a split second. Ari, as she remembered, a teammate in the Jiko-Jiko festival seventeen years ago... One who happily stood up to Exitium. But the smile was quickly over vanished with shock... Ari was pregnant? Chester didn't know how it was even possible... She was an Angel, they couldn't have kids... And yet, here she was... And twins no less.... But that shock didn't stay for long, instead her eyes glazed over with tears, Ari looked so happy... Not being able to stand in the happy atmosphere, feeling the tears threaten to fall, Chester made her way out of the building. She wasn't trying to be rude, and she was ever so happy for her old, dare Chester say it, friend. But she couldn't help but feel a little envious, go figure, Ari was happy with her other, was having a child with him, and a demon no less. Chester just wished she could of had that, to be with Akvan... To have things go differently in her childhood that let her get the chance to lead her future to a better one they were living... To give herself the chance to have a child of her own... But she could not, instead, Chester was just a living burden, a figment for people to use and vent anger out on... She guessed she wouldn't change it for the world, it was easier that way. Wiping away her tears, Chester just sat on some of the old ruins of the old Clan base, and looked up to her brothers work... More importantly, a certain two constellations.

Flood was so casual about it all now that he didn't expect the young parents to be surprised. He'd thought they'd been assured to everything thanks to Nanari, so even Flood was turned silent at their surprise. To think more on this, it was even more rare than before. To have a Naphalem should already be impossible, and to have conceived two at once, was beyond the imagination even for the son of the omniscient Sun Goddess. Flood remained confused and a little awkward as Ari and Mizetto seemed stunned by the news rather than relieved, before smiling as both seemed to light up from it. Flood managed to chuckle a little. "Taking after their parents no doubt, a-and I'm sorry if the news was a little sudden... I thought you knew." Flood replied, smiling as the happy family celebrated, before glancing to Chester as she took leave. Flood gave her back a sympathetic smile, tempted to follow her now. He wanted to talk to her, on a more casual level than earlier today. But he needed to make sure the Hall was quieting down enough first. "Well congrats again you two... I'd let Nanari know of the news as well, and probably the clan... If you think you can handle another one of Zuura's 'congratulations'." Zuura had literally put on a clan wide party for the occasion when Ari was first pregnant, Flood mused to think of what he'd plan to do next. Glancing around, Flood smiled. "I'll need to get back to hosting, call again if you need me." Flood said, nodding his head to take his leave. He spent a little longer making sure everyone was fine, talking to some more people and discussing tomorrows work for those working for Clan money. Finally, as the Hall died down on it's own, Flood went outside to breath. He sighed as he walked into the old, abandoned part of the clan, yawning a little. It was really hard to find periods of time to sleep. Flood didn't want to miss watching the stars, and he didn't like missing out on the sun either. So the Sun child hardly slept, not that with his body he really needed to. He went to walk to his usual spot to gaze from, where he'd stay until sunrise usually, overall happy with how the night had gone.

To be honest, the Wolvine still wasn't sure on what was going on. He knew what babies were, but he never knew that making one meant growing bigger or any of the symptoms Ari was experiencing. Clue was glad Mizetto had reassured him it was all natural, or the Wolvine might start panicking about a re-run of the sickness so long ago. And Clue felt like panicking a lot. He could sense disturbance in Mizetto, and whatever his master felt, Clue usually felt as well. But despite his innocent confusion, Clue was more happy than he was scared. He'd gotten over a lot of his past fears, and his only concerns were for the safety of his family, which the Wolvine was much more determined to keep safe. Ari and Mizetto were really happy, and hadn't fought properly in a while, and any fights were pretty one-sided and ended quickly. Clue was also happy to be in this funny clan, a lot of the children loved the big wolf. And compared to the Iwa clan that Clue was once owned by, this place was a dream. Licking his plate after another good Friday dinner, Clue's ears moved as Ari got up. Following his master, Clue smiled to Nanari, another really nice person, before following. He didn't know what to make of Flood. As a person, he seemed nice. But Wolvine's liked being able to see facial expressions to know what to expect from someone, with Flood's pure misty face, it was impossible to tell what he was feeling. Clue shuffled a little behind Ari as Flood did whatever he did, and turned his ears down as Ari and Mizetto sounded shocked for a moment. It took a while for Clue to realize they were both happy, and tried to fit together why they kept talking about two things. His tail began wagging before Ari even let him feel the kicking. It felt so weird, but with his masters so happy, Clue couldn't feel any otherwise. "They are kicking a lot, Ari. Are they trying to get out?" Clue asked, smiling a little. After the mysterious man left, Clue heeded his advice, walking the short distance to the table where Nanari was. "Master Mizetto and Ari are very happy miss. Nanari, they keep talking about two things... er, twins?"
