When Chrysos had landed in Paludem, in the ravine of explosions Exitium had caused there, it had taken some time for Exitium to come to. Using her light breath, Chrysos had burnt the wound closed, and Exitium's Demon blood handled the rest. He'd woken up in a cry of pain, that only stopped an hour later. Breathing heavily, Exitium eventually found a way to stand up, refusing help from his Dragon daughter. He'd fallen over a few times, resisting to let the pain make him faint or throw up. But eventually, he'd crawled over to Itami's limp body. Chrysos had brought her for no reason, she'd already moved on, this was just a corpse posing to Exitium as a cruel reminder why he should never let his heart be anything but destructive. Exitium tucked his hand into Itami's, feeling how cold it had gone, more than before. Though the Demon refused to cry, or mourn. Although, he did make a silent promise, a promise to his Queen that he'd make sure their hard work didn't go to waste. Even if Exitium had no arms, he'd never stop fighting for the power he and Itami had craved for. Feeling himself recover mentally, and forcing his weak body to comply with his demands, Exitium had buried Itami's body. He remained in Paludem for a long time, forcing his strength to come back. Chrysos took care of him, but he didn't give her the same care as before.. She didn't look like the same kind of tool to Exitium now. He still planned on using her, but her value had all but dissolved. After all, Chrysos had proven herself weak in many things. For not protecting Itami, who so lovingly looked after her, for being weaker than the likes of Rurushu, and for her very existence. For now that Exitium knew he could make the same of her kind, but from Demons rather than Dragons, Chrysos was no longer viewed as a true Dracomancer to him. She didn't deserve the respect a Demon with such regal powers did, and in time she herself would realise the boundaries of her feeble existence. One day, Exitium summoned Chrysos to talk. Chrysos looked carefully at her father, concerned for his health, and scared for what he might do to punish her for what happened before. Exitium swallowed with his dried throat. "We leave now, for Kurrayami... I must put things right in this disgusting world." Chrysos shook her head, leaning her snout down quickly to catch Exitium as he almost fell over. "N-no papa! You're too weak, that purple creature is too strong." Exitium growled, slamming his fist down on Chrysos' snout, causing the girl to squeal, before pushing off of her to stumble back onto his own feet. "Shut your mouth! I am the strongest Demon alive! It is my destiny to rule over our race, and create the ultimate Demon race to survive. The Demon King, and all of the current weak blooded Demons shall perish in my path."
And then, just like that, the air around Exitium grew heavier and heavier, until it was like breathing in mud. Exitium wheezed, looking around dazed as he heard a powerful chuckle ripple through the air. "Sweet fucking statement, oh might and powerful Exitium. But face it, you're just a piece of shit in reality, losing to the likes of a... monster, of your own creation." The voice broke off to laugh again, as Exitium's head moved around in search for an owner to it. He gritted his teeth, "Where are you? Show yourself!" Exitium barked, voice breaking in his weak state. "Oh fuck, you gonna faint again little guy? I'm all around you dumb-ass, the very air of Dranar is where I grow, feasting off the evil and chaos of our race." Exitium frowned, our race? This voice therefore must belong to a Demon, if so, it was a powerful one. Which annoyed Exitium, he was the strongest Demon alive, how dare this... spirit Demon propose otherwise. The voice cackled, "Get off that fucking pedestal you put yourself on, and face reality. You're nothing, and right now, that shitty King Mo could chew you up and spit you out in a minute..." Exitium held back his urge to yell at the voice, feeling as if it had more to say. "But, I can't help but like your little plan, as fucking stupid as it is, it might just work out for the both of us... so here's the deal shit-head, I've been gathering up a whole bunch of energy to use for myself, but instead, I'm going to force it into you. If you live, I'll make sure you're strong enough to obliterate that fucking purple Demon." Exitium was all for this deal as soon as the idea of new power came into play. But he was a little cautious, since there wasn't a catch, or thing he'd need to do in return. Exitium looked around, "And what would you ask of me in return?"
"Nothing, that's the fucking joy of it... now shut up, and don't cry too much." And then, Exitium felt something very hard punch into his stomach, almost to the point when it stabbed right through him. It went right into his crystal implant, recently upgraded with all of Itami's powers as well. But the new kind of power this strange Demon spirit was placing in there was beyond all Exitium had experienced before. The power burnt through his veins, almost bursting his entire blood system as energy grew and grew in every corner of Exitium's body. But he didn't make a sound, instead remained frozen, Chrysos watching a few metres away fearfully. Then finally, there was a rupture of blood, a red explosion coming from Exitium's skull, as two crimson horns rose from his head. Instantly, Exitium's body went through changes, hand becoming more like a claw, tail going thicker, and wings larger and stronger. And scales littering his body. Exitium took a deep breath afterwards, and felt the air become thinner again as whatever strange Demon gifted him with this power disappeared. Exitium opened his red eyes, looking down at the changes with a light chuckle.
He had then quietly made tracks towards Kurrayami, wasting no time, and not even bothering to test his new power. Exitium, Mo, and the whole world would have to watch the discovery together. Exitium landed in the barren streets of the Demonic city, sights set on the Manor up the hill ahead. Exitium didn't go to enter, however. Instead, he did was he did best. Lifting a hand, Exitium went to destroy the pathetic Manor where it stood. But as soon as Exitium released his magic, he'd been made very clear just what kind of power he now contained. In an instant, the Manor was destroyed... and it took half of Kurrayami with it. Exitium managed to escape the blast, flying fast on his new wings, and turned to bath in the glory of his new power. No doubt this one sample of his new power had killed all those living in the quiet yet populated streets of Kurrayami, but Exitium didn't care. All weak Demons would perish soon anyway, so those dead by his single explosion didn't deserve their lives anyway. Chuckling, Exitium eyed the Manor, expecting to see a purple figure appear, having confidence that even magic as strong as that explosion wouldn't finish Mo off.
