Notes: We're back here againA reckless flight indeed, that was what could describe how Kakushin was currently flying like. He was basically falling, since the little energy he had left didn't support his wings all too well. The only things on Kaku's body that wasn't malnourished or scarred were his wings, and if it wasn't for them, Kakushin wouldn't have been able to do half of the things he'd done during this downfall of Angels and Humans. But today, Kakushin couldn't give a care in the wind for how he was flying, he just knew he needed to make it as soon as possible to the sanctuary. The idea of Rurushu possibly being there had been whispering around Kaku's mind for a while now, but he'd never got the chance to really think it through. Now that he had the chance to think, with Ikiru to help push him along, Kakushin felt like finding Rurushu there was likely, if the Demon was still even alive right now. Kakushin knew he wouldn't be himself, not for very long, but the determination he had contained enough life source to keep the Guardian going. Kakushin tried to ignore the dying world beneath him, ignore the few remaining sick people he saw as he flew overhead. Today he couldn't be held down by such things... today he was being what Ikiru told him to be. Swallowing hard, Kakushin levelled out his flying so that he didn't crash a few miles short of the mountain range. Funny, it had only really popped into Kakushin's head to wonder how Neko was doing right now. Shamefully, Kaku hadn't even thought of the cat during this week. He knew roughly where Neko was, probably running around under Kakushin's feet right now, offering support for the sick Humans that weren't taken to Aura. Kakushin felt bad not to say goodbye to Neko, as he knew the cat was probably worried sick about him. But the Angel tossed that feeling aside, making sure for once in his life he was being selfish enough to only care about his goal. He just needed to see Rurushu again, even if it was for a split second before collapsing and dying. Kakushin just wanted to die remembering that face, and not with the regretful memories of never apologising, or passing out whilst Ru sacrificed himself for Kaku's sake. Holding onto his breaths, Kakushin finally reached the jagged mountain range. He smashed a few rocks passing through the dangerous zig-zag of a path towards the sanctuary, before trying to slow himself down as he reached it. Forcing his wings to pull back had been Kaku's mistake. For the pressure on his wings, even though it was gentle, was enough for them to cave in. Kakushin fell like a rock, fortunately over water that was deep enough to soften the landing if only slightly. Kaku pulled himself to the shore, collapsing against the rocks to rest a moment. He mused over what a sad ending it would be if one of the local giant fish found him right now. Being dragged off as fish food wasn't Kakushin's preferred way to go. Kaku took a few good breaths, so glad that out of all of his symptoms, his barely healed lungs hadn't been affected. The Angel pulled himself to his feet, which in his sickly thin conditions was a challenge in itself, especially when weighed down by water logged clothing. Huffing, Kaku's eyes felt too heavy to lift, whilst his body dragged him up along the shore and onto the path. He groaned softly a little, suddenly feeling parched, his mouth drying up rapidly. Hearing the rush of soothing water from the waterfalls nearby, Kaku remember how he'd once believed they had healing qualities, as he and Itamu seemed to comment upon. Kaku dragged himself in the direction of the bridge that lead to the temple with Itamu's monument. The Angel decided, if he didn't find Rurushu here, then he'd at least go die next to Itamu, anything for a last burst of comfort.

Rurushu was exhausted, having help in deciding on how to make it up to Kakushin, and that he received in escaping from Ignis, compared with the nonstop work he has put into fixing up the whole of the sanctuary, from every last cobweb to dead wood... Ru didn't think he could stand, let alone do anything else. He had been her for a few days doing nonstop cleaning and fixing, while preparing himself for something he planned to do, all in a hope that Kakushin would actually turn up here, it being the most likely place Ru thought of for Kaku wanting to end, if it was at that point. Though each moment was in fear Ignis or Exitium would find him, or that Ru was too late, but other fears kicked in too, like Itami and whether or not Kaku would actually forgive Ru for everything. But so far, he didn't think it would be possible, knowing that everything he has done for the outlaws up until this point was unforgivable, even if another said they did. Rurushu was currently mending the resting place for Itamu's memorial, cutting the long grass and making sure everything looked tidy, knowing this meant a lot to Kakushin in itself, It was also the last thing Ru needed to do as to make sure everything was clean, though he was tired, and slagging a little at things, memories of the few days they spent together here clouding is mind until nothing else was seen. So caught up in said memories, Rurushu missed the commotion from outside the temple near the water, instead looking down to Itamu's memorial, "Im sorry Itamu, I promised I wouldn't hurt Kaku and I failed at that... Part of me believes that your trying to strangle me right now for that... But I am sorry, I never meant to hurt him.." Ru felt a couple of tears run down his face, knowing that he was the reason for Kaku getting hurt, and feeling guilty for that fact. |

Kakushin was bent over on the bridge, feeling a raging sensation his chest. It hurt more than anything Kakushin had faced so far, and that was a lot. But he'd have to grin and bare it until he either found Rurushu here, or reached Itamu's memorial, whichever first. Huffing, Kakushin felt his hand across the wooden bridge. It felt... smoother since the last time he'd been here, like the splintered wood had been pressed down and plucked to a perfect smoothness. There weren't any dust particles or cobwebs either. Now that he'd realised something was different about this special place, Kaku was noticing other changes. The structures he'd passed in his deathly state, they also seemed cleaner. The trees had been professionally cut back, and the paths had been cleared. It took Kaku's slowed mind to understand that must mean someone had, or still was here. Kaku was suddenly given a lift in energy, there was only one other person that knew of this place. Swallowing down every other urge in his body, and only focusing on moving forwards, Kakushin made a beeline for the small temple where Itamu's monument rested.
What Kakushin saw was something his dying didn't believe they'd get the chance to see again, and they immediately drowned themselves in tears when they did. Rurushu, he was here. Kakushin's small vein of hope he'd carried down to Sohul with him was right, and it froze the illness inside of him, if only for a moment so that he could continue to look and remember the one he loved so dearly. "R-Rurushu..." Kakushin rasped, barely audible. He dragged his feet forwards, not able to remove his eyes from Rurushu, but also noting their surroundings. Everything had been cleaned and perfected, so much so that Kakushin for a moment believed that perhaps he'd died already, and this was his precious afterlife. He dissolved such thought for now, only focusing on making sure his legs didn't cave in as he walked. Lips trembling, Kakushin's eyes still couldn't comprehend what he was looking at, and at what a truly lucky Angel he was. Even if he died here and now, he'd go knowing the one he loved was still blessed with living, for once. "We... really do... have a talent for finding each other." The Angel said suddenly, smiling with all of his strength.

Ru was still looking down, shoulders heavy with guilt, and mind being plagued with his own dark thoughts, he felt as if his own magic was sucking the light out of his body. But he tried to keep hope smile through the tears, knowing that if he allowed himself to have a weak mind right now, then finding Itami and killing her would be a task of burden, rather then anything else, hell, Ru would even do it as a task of revenge, rather then redemption. But he had to admit, the sudden voice behind him startled Rurushu, even if he recognised the voice like non other. Slowly turning, in case it was his mind playing tricks on him, Ru couldn't stop the tears from falling down his face at Kaku, but those tears of happiness was soon drowned out by sadness once he saw the state the other was in. In a quick moment, Ru was by Kaku's side, Cloak in hand and draped over Kaku's shoulders in an attempt to warm the dripping body up. It was no lie that he was in terrible condition, and didn't have long to carry on living, which just added to Ru's guilt, but right now he had bigger things to worry about. "That we do.. Though, it would be nice to meet without one injured or trying to kill the other..." Ru trailed off, knowing that killing one another was a sour topic on both ends right now, well it was for Rurushu anyways... "Here, come and sit, its not good to stay on your feet like this." Ru grabbed his shoulders, leading the other further in the temple to seating, hoping that all these little things would help. "You need out of these wet clothes, its not good for your condition... Can I get you anything, water, food?" Rurushu was panicking, Kaku didn't look like he was in good condition, and several factors just made it worse for him, and the Dracomancer didn't want to take any chances of loosing Kaku sooner then need be. |

Kakushin tried to feint his condition to little effect. Considering he could no longer even move, as his legs cramped up, Kakushin knew one little push and he'd on the floor for good. But the Angel could hardly care for any of that. There was no need to care about his own condition, just that Rurushu was well, and very much alive. All those days of fearing the worst, thinking Rurushu had condemned himself to death like everyone in Kaku's life, thinking of what kind of torture Exitium had put him through. For him to be here now, it completed Kaku's probably short life. Kakushin was soon wrapping himself around Rurushu the moment the Demon walked up to him. He wanted to remember the warmth of his other, the feeling of closeness before he was taken away. In fact, there were so many things Kakushin wanted to remember about Rurushu before dying, all flooding into him now of all times. It truly had felt too long since seeing his face again, and Kakushin was determined to never lose sight of it again. Kakushin laughed weakly, "Well... no one's perfect." Kakushin replied, smiling as he buried his face into Ru's shoulder. He could happily remain standing like that, without any feeling left in his legs anyway. But Rurushu was still trying to help, even if Kakushin had already given up on himself. Forcing his dead legs to move, Kakushin practically collapsed down on the seat. He looked around a little, "This place looks so... alive again." Kakushin muttered, closing his eyes to take a few deep breaths. "Thank you, Ruru... you've done more for me than I deserve." Looking to the ground, Kakushin knew he'd have to get things off of his chest soon, before his heart exploded. The Angel shook his head slowly. "There's... no point in eating, it doesn't do anything." One of the worst symptoms, the severe reduction of nutrients Kakushin's body could take in. He'd literally starved himself all week because nothing that he consumed did any good, every day waking up felt like Kaku's stomach was eating itself out. Now the hunger pains were nothing compared to pain everywhere else, even though it was still excruciating.
Kakushin lifted a hand to folded it around one of Rurushu's. "I just want you to stay close by... so that I can't lose you again." Kakushin squeezed down on the hand, a tight grip for someone with little strength left. His chest erupted in pain again, and Kakushin knew he'd only get a few more attacks before it tore his insides apart for good. Taking a deep breath, Kakushin looked right at Rurushu. "I have to apologise. For... everything I said before. At the docks, about you not being the one I thought I knew... I'm sorry for all of it... for being too weak to stop Exitium. It's all been my fault since then, losing you again. I'm so glad... we can meet again. Everything I said about you was wrong... you are every bit the kind, brave and loving Demon you deserve to be, nothing in your past can change that."

Rurushu's sight turned blurry at the amount of tears welling up, he knew from the way Kaku was acting that the Angel had given up, that he knew he wouldn't make it. But what felt just as bad as knowing Ru was losing Kaku, was that he was the one apologising, when really it should have been Ru. "Silly Guardian. You deserve so much more then this... It's I who doesn't deserve anything, not after all I did." Ru had more to say, so much more, but his throat closed up, not able to say more. It wasn't until Kaku mentioned that nothing helped, that Ru realised the extent on how bad this disease was, and he most certainly hoped that someone would find a way to stop it. But Ru sat beside Kaku, squeezing his hand a little and hugging Kaku close to him, "You never lost me in the first place." Smiling down to Kaku, Ru kissed his head, "Anything else I can do, anything at all?" Giving a small smile, one that faded at the intense look from Kaku, Ru took a gulp before listening. He wasn't sure how to feel at what the other said, if he should be warmed on the inside for the apology, or angry that Kaku felt as if it was needed, though Ru knew everything Kaku said that night was true, after what he did. "I wont get angry, but know you have no need to apologise... You were right that day. Cause I could have stopped all this, warned you or someone else, I could have left sooner... There was so many things I could have done, and yet here we are. I once told you I had something dark within me... But now I see that it was probably my true self, one too scared to change things." Ru looked up briefly, away from Kaku before sighing. "And Exitium was stronger then anyone gave him credit for, that was not your fault... I was too weak to stop him myself..." Ru thought back to the pain he was put through in turning into a half breed... He could have done something then, but he didn't, and that would come back to haunt him for the rest of his life. "So im sorry, for it all. I should have done something... And I caused you pain, I lost Chester, and im going to lose you, all because I was too weak to do anything... Im sorry... Im so, so sorry..." Rurushu buried his face into his hands, covering his tears of agony... This was not how he wanted to spend his last moments with Kaku, but he just couldn't help it. "Please, forgive me for it all... Every last little thing I did... Im still in love with you, every fibre of my being, and I would do anything if it meant letting you live now, even if for one last painless day, to earn your forgiveness for my foolishness..."

It was true. True that this pair of opposites always attracted, always found one another. It made Kakushin wonder why he'd ever worried about Rurushu, worried about meeting him again. They would always meet again, it was a mental promise the pair held onto. Kaku knew why he worried, because that was all the Angel ever did, but he also felt like an idiot, as usual. Kakushin didn't expect, nor want, Rurushu to feel like he needed to have his say in apologising. The Angel wanted to carry all the blame with him to the grave, and not have Rurushu feel like he needed to share the load as well. Kakushin dropped himself onto Ru's side, listening to every word, but wishing his love didn't need to say them. "Not everything in the world... is as peaceful as we want it to be. Accepting that, means we don't have to blame ourselves for it. Perhaps it was inevitable... that I'd die, or Chester, or anyone else currently suffering. But it's not your fault. And I know I'm the only one around who'll probably believe that, but please take that for something... I don't want... I don't want you to feel guilty when I die." It was a tough thing to ask. Of course Rurushu would feel guilty, but it wasn't his fault. Thinking about it during the time Kakushin had after the docks, even if Rurushu had made a change during the Outlaw's plans, the outcome would be inevitable at some point. Kakushin did ask a lot in life. He was always desperately clinging to others lives, in the hope that they wouldn't die, whilst treating his own with severe negligence. To ask for those he loved to live happily, even when he died, was perhaps too much, but it was what Kakushin desired the most. Hearing Rurushu break down, probably feeling the weight of losing Kaku, the Angel knew how it felt, and didn't want Rurushu to ever feel that way. And if staying alive was the only way to stop those feelings, then even if it was in vein, perhaps Kakushin would try and hold on for as long as he could. Kakushin exhaled sharply, leaning up to push Rurushu's hands away, kissing his cheek softly. "Of course I forgive you, even when there's nothing to forgive. And never see yourself as weak... You came out here, probably had to escape Exitium to do so, all to work hard on making this place perfect. There hasn't been a moment I've known you when you haven't tried your hardest..." Kakushin dropped his eyes, and his head, onto Rurushu's shoulder. "And I suppose, if you're still trying your hardest, then I will too..." Holding off death was exhausting enough, and wouldn't be painless. But if it was the price for one more day, or even one more hour with Rurushu, then Kakushin would see it as well spent.
Sighing, Kakushin thought of something, that might ease the spirits slightly, depending on how it was taken. "You know... I've just thought of something," Kakushin slurred, "If you wouldn't mind... I'd like to finally hear that voice you've been so desperate to hide, that song you promised to sing to me the last time we were here." Although it was partly a tease, Kaku really did hope Rurushu wouldn't shy out. He'd accept it if the Demon did, but before he left, Kakushin wanted something else to remember Rurushu by.

Rurushu wouldn't not be able to feel guilty, to feel as if it wasn't his fault. And as much as wants to sit there and tell Kaku that he wont feel guilty, Ru cant bring himself to lie anymore, not to Kaku. "I want to believe that, but at the same time, if I had done something, anything... Things may be different now, and we wont know because I didn't take that chance..." Taking a deep breath, Ru held tight onto Kaku's hand. "I cant promise not to feel guilty, but I promise to not let it affect the things I do in the future... All that happens her after, is a new slate on my behalf, my fight for redemption and freedom." Ru looked up though, moving Kaku's face towards him, giving the other a smile, Ru leaned forward and connected their lips, perhaps the last time he would get to do so. "Thank you, for forgiving me. You don't know how much it means. And I am weak, but im going to get strong, so this time round, I can protect those I care for, for those who need protecting..." That was a promise Ru made to himself, to help protect again, to make up for everything he did, and help, just like how many have done for him... Chester, Kaku, Rex, Thyrea... Hell even Akvan and Neko found some way to help, even if they don't know it. Kissing the top of Kaku's head as it was rested upon his shoulder, Ru sighed at the request. He knew Kaku would ask, Ru even prepared a song for when he did. But that didn't stop the nerves of doing so, didn't stop him from panicking. But he would do this, another way to apologise, just as it was something nice for Kaku before he was lost to Ru. "I may be, quiet, and what not... As you know, I don't like singing in front of another... The songs hold my deepest secrets and my most protected of thoughts... Its a personal thing... But I admit, I have prepared a song, in case you asked... So here I go..." Gripping hold of Kaku's hand tightly, and taking a deep breath, Ru began...

Ru took a deep breath once he finished, surprised with himself for making it through the entire song without Panicking, he hoped his emotions were sent through the lyrics, but he didn't dare to look up at Kaku, both in embarrassment and in fear on Kaku's reaction... |

Kakushin let the fear of Rurushu falling into a life of guilt fall off his chest, now that Rurushu had promised to try and avoid those very feelings. But he also felt something tug at his throat. The idea of leaving Rurushu alone to find his freedom, when Kaku had promised to help him find it, it all made Kakushin hold belief in his failure. His failure to live for others, like they did for him. Kakushin would still die happily, whenever that would come to be, but he would always hold the loss of others with him. Perhaps, when he died, he'd find Itamu up there somewhere. Share a story, and watch from above as everyone grew stronger. It was a wish worth keeping, especially nearing the end of the line. Kakushin fell deep into the kiss, realising how much he'd missed those feelings of all, and how he'd make damn sure not to forget them either.
It was exciting for the dying Angel, ignorant of his conditions and probable future, to finally get to hear Rurushu sing. Kaku didn't feel as bad for asking Ru for it as he would have been before, since this time had a lot more reason behind it. And it was almost amusing to know Rurushu had a song prepared, just for Kakushin. Kakushin closed his eyes, though made sure not to fall into sleep as he listened. He just wanted to hear, and nothing more. Kakushin rejected all other sensations other than that of this voice. He cherished every word, picking out the meanings and holding onto each note. Kaku was as tone-deaf as they came, so most songs moved him. But this one through him into a new world of understanding, and Kakushin knew no other voice would hold up against this one. Kakushin's dried eyes slowly opened afterwards, looking to the embarrassed Rurushu. Kakushin chuckled weakly, noting finding words to even begin to explain how he felt. Happy, enlightened, at peace... all conflicting with a new desire to remain like this forever, to hear it one more time, to be able to spend more time with Rurushu. All such battling, selfish thoughts. And the song, muddled them up to a degree where Kaku no longer wanted to go, not even to escape the pain. It would be far worse to go and leave someone who had the courage and the motive to place how they felt into such a beautiful song, then to hold onto life and bare the sickness. "Only you..." Kakushin muttered, "Only you can make me want to live, to never leave your side... To remain here to love you forever, and hear you sing so perfectly like that." Kakushin swallowed nothing, feeling dry of everything but emotion now. He was visibly shaking without a possible cause. He could only hold tightly onto Rurushu's hand as he struggled through it. But the shaking didn't stop, instead it lead right up to an unforgiving finale.
Kakushin took a sharp intake of breath, "N-no..." He managed to mutter, clutching his shirt with his free hand, hoping to hold down the erupting pain. Another heart attack, so much more intensified thanks to the emotional state Kakushin had placed himself in. Kaku didn't reveal his intense pain, other than going silent, each hand holding tightly on for dear life, and a few escaping moans of pain. "No... I don't want... to leave." He muttered, before the shivering stopped, and Kaku went very quiet.

Ru looked up despite his embarrassment as Kaku spoke, a few silent, but happy tears falling down his face before he wrapped his arms around him and hugged the other close. "I never thought I would ever willingly sing in front of another, and yet here we are, and it will only ever be you." But the sweet moment was interrupted as the hand held painfully onto Ru's, and despite Kaku's best efforts to hide how much pain he was in, Rurushu knew. "Come on love, hang in there..." But he knew there wasn't anything he could do, instead he held tightly on Kaku's hand, offering words of comfort. Praying to whoever he could, asking for Kaku to be alright... But as he went quiet, Ru began to panic, it couldn't be over yet, Ru had so much more he wanted to do with Kaku. Checking to see if he was still breathing, and heart still beating, Ru shivered as he realised how weak the others heart was, and knew they only help he could receive would be in Aura. Carefully picking up Kaku, making sure the other was secure and safe within his arms, Ru took off, away from the sanctuary and up towards Aura, in a last hoped effort in saving Kakushin.

Whilst Kakushin's body could no longer keep up, the Angel still refused to give in. He couldn't move, and his eyes were barely open, and his mind was being flooded with pain, but Kaku didn't count himself as out. After all Rurushu had done, Kakushin couldn't die knowing he'd brought nothing in return, not anymore after hearing those words. Once thinking that perhaps he could die happily after seeing his love one last time, it didn't seem worthy of Kaku's precious time. There was always more he wanted to do. He wanted to hear Ru sing again, see him smile again, celebrate the taste of freedom with him. Dying wouldn't get Kakushin any of those things. But his mind was conflicted. The pain was so tempting, pulling and tugging on his delicate golden string of life that hung so thin now, one spike at it and the string would snap. And painlessly, Kakushin would be dead, and the pain that had been eating away at him for these few weeks of hell would end. There was stubbornness, against temptation. And Kakushin was known for being a stubborn soul. He'd be damned if he died being a coward and giving into pain, not now after all things. Rurushu was still willing to try, as Kakushin could feel himself lifted carefully, and so Kakushin clamped his teeth together, keeping his eyes as open as he could to make sure he didn't fall asleep yet.

Rushing was something Ru needed to do in this moment, but rushing would possibly make things worse for Kaku as well, the jolting during flight. So Ru knew to keep it steady and make sure the trip up was comfortable for Kakushin. Having made a fair distance away from the sanctuary, Ru briefly wondered how he was going to get into Aura long enough to make sure Kakushin was okay, knowing that many Angels probably wouldn't take kindly to his arrival, both as a Outlaw, and as an Outlaw close to Itami. But he knew regardless, Rurushu would make sure Kaku got the attention he needed to help fight this disease long enough for someone to do something. Resting on a mountain briefly, near a river as to hydrate Kaku a bit and get ready for the last trek up to Aura... As his wings ached more then normal, the Dracomancer blamed it on the extra weight and how he had yet to get use to the new strength in his wings. But that wasn't the only reason, Ru felt a foreboding feeling, one he has felt since running from Exitium and Ignis... Itami was livid, not only did Rurushu actually betray her, but he also decided to double cross her beloved when he so kindly helped to give the retched peace guardian another few days to live under the request of Rurushu. Itami was currently hunting them down, her sins happily getting ready to rip apart the traitor, even if she was quite ready to give the final blow. She had been lead to a mountainous region, one in which Rurushu's death would echo but cause no problems for nearby places... It was unfortunate really, how his bloody death would not be witnessed by anyone besides her, as Kakushin's little golden string would be cut before either had the chance to do anything, and it was so much fun having that power in the palm of her hand. Touching down upon the top of a mountain, Itami watched as Rurushu rushed to get Kakushin to safety, having laughed as he decided to rest close by before continuing in false hope. Overhearing his little promise, Itami's mood darkened for the worst... Before she let off a loud cackle and showed herself. "Why Rurushu, you couldn't keep a promise even if the moments worked in your favour, besides... You happily broke ours for this little fucker, didn't you?" Sending a smirk towards her ex-ally, Itami held up the little golden string... "I have the power to kill Kaku right here and now... With no reason to stop myself... But then again, why don't we let him hear and watch as you die first, hmm? Because he's as good as dead anyways..." With one last cackle, Itami summoned each sin to stand around Rurushu, all ready to harm and kill. "Take him down, but leave the last breath of life for me to take..." And with that, Itami watched as they began to attack. |

Kakushin could always feel the unbalance of peace. This past week had given him head ache after head ache as everywhere fell into chaos, and to Kakushin it felt as though he was present when each and every person who died suffered. It had really made the week all the more sickening. But since his senses began to fade, Kaku hadn't felt the uneasiness of chaos, because he didn't have the strength to feel it. But as they made a stop on the mountain side, one such feeling hit the Angel like a wave. Whatever it was, to have Kakushin sense this kind of danger in his state, must mean that it was a powerful danger indeed. He didn't have the strength to do anything about it, so he could only pray that they could avoid it. Kakushin wanted to smile, or do anything to reply to Rurushu's promise, other than just stare at him with pained eyes. But he could only shake his head, lips quivering as they tried to rearrange themselves into a smile without much success.
Holding out for so long, trying to remain awake, Kakushin was starting to feel the regret of it when he heard that voice approach. He'd never really met her before, it Kakushin could easily tell who that snake-like, daggering voice belonged to. Seeing Itami approach, and not really listening to her other than feeling the murderous intent around her, made Kaku panic. Which wasn't good in his current state, as his heart spiked stronger, almost forcing the Angel in a fit if he didn't hold it down by groaning in pain. Taking deep breaths, Kakushin continuously shook his head, a message to Rurushu to not do this. If he was going to fight someone strong like Itami, just for the sake of someone who was already doomed and die from it himself, Kakushin wouldn't be able to take it. And this time, once more, Kakushin was left helpless as he watched his love's reply to Itami's threats and attacks.

That sinking feeling hit Ru like nothing else had once Itami appeared, all he could think of was how he was fighting her sooner than he thought, believing she would be in hiding while she got use to her stolen powers. But Rurushu should have known better, should have known Itami would come looking for her revenge on his betrayal, all Ru could do now was hope that Itami would actually leave Kakushin alone, knowing the other couldn't do anything. "I promised to help get revenge on those who hurt us... And as I grew up, I knew this was not the sort of revenge I was after, Kaku and Chester helped me to realise that..." Sending his own death glare towards Itami, Ru completely ignored Kaku in his attempt to get him to stop. Rurushu was planning on fighting and ending her anyways, nothing anyone said would change that. "Im no longer going to die easily... Thank the bastard Exitium for that..." Drawing his sword, Rurushu knew only he and Kakushin or Itami would leave this fight alive, and Rurushu was hell bent on it being him and Kaku.
Taking a deep breath Rurushu focused on a plan on how to win this fight. Attacking the sins would be pointless, Itami having the power to regenerate them and too many to fight. So his only option would be to attack Itami straight off the bat, ignoring the attacks from the sins and keeping Itami distracted enough to weaken her magic within them. Having no time to think of anything better, Rurushu took the first swing in cutting down what seemed to be wrath, before moving on straight at Itami. Blocking the pain that came with the other sins attacks... Body feeling as if it was on fire as it healed itself slowly from the wounds inflicted. Ru guessed if he was failing to fight as a Demon, then he would have to fight as his Dragon form, even if he wanted that kept as a secret from Kakushin for now. |
