As soon as the room was empty, apart from Kakushin and the sleeping Neko on his stomach, the Angel was moving. He twisted so that he could place his feet on the ground, without moving too much to disturb Neko. Then, with a sly manoeuvre that felt as if it snapped something in Kaku's stomach, the Angel got out of the bed without moving Neko enough to wake the cat. Kaku winced as he stood up straight, almost falling from the dizzy pain. It hurt so much to move, and Kakushin felt awkward when placed on his only just healed legs, but it was a world more bearable than what it had been before. First things first, Kaku needed to locate his stuff. His clothes had been washed, pearl white like usual instead of being blotched in crimson blood. It was a slow process changing into his usual attire, but Kaku managed to get through the process without throwing up with pain, although there were some close calls. He leaned against the wall, staring upwards as he breathed heavily, feeling overwhelming pain in his head as he struggled to catch his breath. This would be as hard as everyone had assumed it would be, but Kakushin still didn't care. He knew it had to be done, he had to go down and help, in some way. He didn't want to be powerless yet again, and his refusal powered him through the pain.
Groaning quietly, Kakushin grabbed the rest of his things, and walked out of the room as best he could, trying his hardest not to stubble around or give into the pain. Walking did get easier, his stomach settled down enough for Kakushin to seem normal to everyone his passed by. The problem now was deciding on how to get down from Shiro to Sohul without being seen, or encouraging more pain from his chest. He could always take the ship they'd arrived in, but would need Neko's help to fly it. The only real way was to fly himself, but Kakushin didn't know if he could strain himself like that without his wings collapsing. Kakushin made his way along the corridors, making sure to keep out of sight of the court yard. He had to pause at one point, leaning against a wall as he almost keeled over. A woman came passed at one point, heading towards the kitchens. She stopped to hover over Kakushin with a concerned expression. Kakushin glanced up, trying to smile. "I-I... I'm fine... Just a little tired...Could? Do you think you c-could get me some w-water?" The kind maid did in fact get him a drink. A simple enough request, but the dampening liquid down Kaku's throat felt like heaven after his experience. Kakushin sighed, thanking the woman for her help before continuing down the corridor. He'd aim to get to somewhere outside where other floating islands were close by, just in case flying really was as hard as Kakushin was anticipating it to be. His eyes were almost always glued to behind his shoulder, almost certain that he'd find one of the others chasing him down.

Hane was fresh from his talk with Tenshi, and almost had a skip to his step. But his inclination towards being in a good mood were soon dampened when he entered a semi-empty room. It was silent, and Kaku's bed was flat, empty apart from the snoozing Neko. In fact, the cat was only just aroused from his sleep when Hane walked in. It took Neko a few moments to realized who'd slipped from their grasp, and muttered a curse to himself. Hane huffed, before offering a slight smile to the cat. "Don't worry, this escape is on all of us, for leaving him alone whilst you were sleeping." Neko looked to Hane for a moment, before sighing in frustration. Hane's face turned serious. "Stay here and rest, I'll be back soon." Hane replied simply, before rushing out of the door to go hunt down their escapee. Hane was agile around the corridors, checking each and every room as he roamed around the paths he'd followed for a very long time. Kakushin sure was a slippery bug, and Hane was impressed he'd managed to get this far in his condition.
But he left a trail oh so easy to follow, Hane could see it in the concerned looks on people's faces as he passed them in the corridors. There was one woman that looked more troubled than the rest, and Hane soon saw why. Kakushin was stumbling along like a drunk man, and Hane was almost certain the Angel wouldn't make it out of Aura. Sighing, Hane looked sympathetically after the Angel, until he had to act as Kaku looked back towards him. Hane sent the student a scowl, folding his arms across his chest. "We weren't kidding about stopping you, Kakushin. It would be a waste of her majesty's magic, and our night of worry if you go now and end up in worse condition... or never return."

Kakushin winced, for once not from pain, when he saw Hane down the corridor coming towards him. Of all people, he really didn't want to see that discriminating man follow him. Kakushin didn't even feel like he could look at Hane, how the teacher had treated Kaku's relationship, how he'd considered the man that had probably condemned himself to a painful death just for Kaku's sake was nothing more than any other evil Demon. Glaring forwards, Kakushin was ready to run if he had to, but then Hane spoke over to him. Kaku gritted his teeth, "I don't care... what happens to me. But there are people I care about down in Sohul, probably being tortured right now. I can't just sit around while they slowly die. It would kill me to see them lost, knowing I did nothing to stop it." Kakushin replied, finding his moistened throat after the drink a lot less painful to talk with. He sent a warning glare towards Hane, trying to ignore the idea that Nanari had explained to him. Hane was probably more to Kakushin then just some average teacher, and Kaku did care for the old geezer, but right now all he wanted was for Hane to leave him alone. Kaku's decision to go down to Sohul to look for Rurushu and Chester was his own, and should he die down there, then that would be a result of his choice and his choice alone.
Kaku turned to walked away. "I won't stop trying to escape, old timer, no matter what you have to do to stop me. I just... need to find them, need to know if they're safe or..." Kakushin swallowed, he felt his heart shudder at the idea of finding Rurushu dead already, without a word of an apology for him. "You can tie me down, break one of my legs to stop me running. Treat me like a criminal, I don't care. So long as I can move, I will try and find them."

Hane watched the injured Angel turn around. Even watching the slow turn of Kaku's head made Hane feel for what pain he must be putting up with. And it almost made Hane more desperate to get the boy resting and healing up, rather than running around like this. He could almost feel the burning glare Kakushin gave him, and knew his previous point had hit the Angel harder than Hane had thought at the time. But, despite how little time had passed, Hane was willing to change his judgement, and hoped Kakushin would at least forgive him for what was once said. "You won't be sitting around, Kakushin. You'll be worrying about them, fearing the worst with every breath you take in. Your every thought will be focused on wondering if they are alright, dreading that it might never be again that you meet. How can anyone see that as you doing nothing? You're borderline incapacitated right now, anyone who thinks you're not trying to help is foolish." Hane took a few soft steps forwards as he spoke, trying to get Kaku to stop and look back at him. Hane didn't know how he could get Kakushin to stop. At the worst, he could knock the wounded Angel down, but Hane wouldn't forgive himself if Kaku's fragile bones broke again because of him. The smaller Angel even tried smiling, such a rare sight was something Kaku surely didn't want to miss out on seeing. "I... have learnt something new today, Kakushin. It's allowed me to... admire, your feelings towards this person you care about so much. But if you claim that he is only in the danger he's in because helping you was his last sacrifice, then how do you think he would feel, should you go down to find him and get killed? That sacrifice would have been for nothing... Kakushin, I know, you've experienced something like this before, and that when you eventually found the one who'd sacrificed themselves for you, it wasn't a good sight." Hane trailed off, feeling as though he'd nothing to say on a sore topic like that to Kakushin. But the Angel spoke again, and Hane's eyes darted up to Kaku's, now shuffled close enough to get a good looking into the boy's green ones. "And then what Kakushin? Are you going to kill whoever's hurt them? I assume the same person that has this love of your captured is also the one to harm you, so how do you think fighting them again will change anything. At the least, you'll die, and at the worst, your love will be forced to watch it. Do you want that?"

Kakushin took a few more steps before stopping, almost with a grimace of frustration on his face as he was tempted to listen to Hane's words. The Angel glanced back, "In my opinion, if you can move, you can still do something. And if I don't use what energy I have to try and find them, then I'll be wasting the opportunity." Kaku replied, holding his arms together across his chest. He then turned suddenly, sending a glare to Hane that just dared the immortal Angel to continue talking about Kakushin's past. He could have killed Hane for thinking of trying to understand how it felt to lose someone close to you, letting them die in your place. It was disgraceful, not only did it dig into the heart of the one left alive, but their spirit too. Kaku took a deep breath, looking away from his teacher. "And you'd know what sacrifice is? Someone so heartless and strong like you has probably never experiences that kind of pain." Kaku muttered. Hane rose a valid point, one that Kakushin refused to let eat into his mind. But he couldn't help the fear that eroded inside of him every time he thought of how powerful Exitium had been, and that probably wasn't even a glimpse of the Demon's true power. Kaku could close his eye, and shiver at the memory of the contact with just one explosion. Going down there, and finding Exitium as company, or any Demon with a heart so cold and brutal like his, and the Angel would be history. Kakushin swallowed, kicking himself for being so scared and selfish right now. He didn't want to give into caution, leave Rurushu to die whilst he hid up in Aura. But, Kakushin couldn't stop the tremor in his hands as he stood. "N-no... But, maybe I could..."

Hane's eyes returned to a scowl. Kakushin was as stubborn as they came, and it both annoyed and impressed the old Angel. "You can use that energy to rest, and prepare yourself for the opportunity to really save them, and not just die trying to get there." Hane replied short after the idiot's statement. Hane knew anything he said wouldn't work, not whilst Kaku was so worried about now instead of a few days from now. He was fearing the worst every moment, rather than considering that presently things were fine. He also knew that what he said had been rather harsh, but Kaku returned with one equally sour. Hane glared at the young Angel, going to say something, but knowing right now it would only lead to more arguments, and that ran the risk of Kakushin trying to run off. So the older Angel sighed, holding his displeasure inside as he focused on the job at hand, he'd speak his choice of words later, when this had all blown over. Almost smiling as Kakushin began to realize, and being surprised at seeing someone like the headstrong Kakushin actually shake with fear, Hane knew he'd one himself a point in this battle. He'd gotten through to Kakushin, now it was time to try and reassure the wounded Angel, and not just lead him to believe that there was no longer any hope. Sighing, Hane tried smiling again. "Maybe you could die painfully, and leave all of us who care about you blaming ourselves for not protecting you whilst we had the chance." Hane interrupting, finding the tough love necessary. "I see where we stand, and believe me, I know what it's like to worry about someone elsewhere when your stuck in one location... call it my autobiography. But I also know that I... a-and her majesty of course, do not want to see you gone. If looking for your lover and friend is more important to you right now than your health... then let me offer my assistance." Hane glanced out of a window, finding the courage to say his next statement. "You will remain here and rest, and I will travel down to Sohul and scout for you. Should I find the people you care for, I will do all in my power to save them, if not send word to you of their condition... It.. it is a risky offer on my part, but nothing is more important to me then the stability of my students."

Kakushin shuddered with every breath, hating himself for hesitating on his last comment. His teeth were clenched together, and he just wanted to go now, run away and help, instead of hating himself as he felt fear glue him to the spot. He was only freed when Hane spoke, looking up to the older Angel with a pained, but also stunned look. This kind of offer, it wasn't something Kakushin, or anyone who knew Hane could take anything but seriously. Kaku swallowed, looking into Hane's eyes for any sign that he was bluffing. But all Kaku could see was sincerity, and care. Kakushin listened to the rest of what Hane said, before looking down, fighting the urge to cry from frustration. Yes, Hane's offer put every worry Kaku had to rest, all but one. Accepting this would mean putting yet another cherished person on the line, and if Hane was to die doing Kakushin's choice instead of him, the Guardian would refuse to live with himself. And Hane of all people, this was an incredibly risky offer. Hane was offering to suffocate himself for long enough to fly down to Sohul, search for Rurushu or Chester, and then make the climb back up before he choked to death. Willingly doing so as well... Kakushin really did almost break down. He hated himself now for his accusations to Hane, saying the old man was heartless, and didn't know what love was enough to care if others got hurt. Kaku eventually hid his tears behind a slight chuckle. "'Stability of your students?' H-how long is it going to take for you to admit you consider us family, old man?" Kakushin replied, trying to smile back. Kaku then thought to the matter at hand, and felt nervous and guilty to reply. "I know I can't refuse, because you'll do it anyway... b-but promise me you won't go too far, OK gramps?"

Kakushin's almost tearful moment could be taken as an apology for accusing of Hane not caring. The older Angel was a little awkward around upset people, because he honestly had no clue how to handle them, other than handing over a tissue and standing at a safe distance. But Hane knew what kind of state Kakushin's mind must be in right now, and so respected his right to be exhausted mentally as well as physically. The Angel almost went red to his face when Kaku spoke again, ending with a huff instead. "I'll consider you family when you've earned the respect for it. For starters, 'old man' or 'old geezer' are notices to my actual age, but contain no respect to them. Respect your elders first, then I might consider you family, boy." Hane replied, pushing his caring side deep down again. Perhaps he did consider Kakushin family, out of all of his students, but Hane was far too vain to admit to something ridiculous like that. Hane frowned when Kaku expressed some concern, chuckling to himself, which was something he'd not done in a long time. "I've lived almost two hundred years, boy. I think I know how to stay alive... besides, worry about yourself, stop trying to hold everyone safe in your heart, or it might explode. I have no intention to die doing this silly little errand for you, so stop looking so guilty. It only adds to that weak look you have." Hane said, confidently walking up to Kakushin, and gently encouraging the Angel back towards the bed area with a shove to his back. "Now go back and sleep, you'll have the fury of that cat of yours to deal with first... but after that, I don't want to hear another word of you running off like a fool, got it kid?"
