Nanari smiled and looked up towards the queen, at first she wasn't entirely happy that Ruru decided that life, but hearing what the queen said, made those thoughts disappear, she knew for a fact that how one is treated leads to how they lead their life, and that how one acts on the outside is not always their true self. She lived it all her life. So she knew she wouldn't hate Ruru for what he's done, and she was glad Kaku wouldn't either. "I wont hate him. In a way I admire him for it, wanting to leave something so terrible... Probably knowing the risks if he did." Casting her eyes down for a second, Nanari took a breath. "If its true and Ruru hasn't changed all that much from when he was human, then he will forgive you, from what I saw, he said things he regretted too. And thank you, your majesty, those words meant a lot to me, but in a way I also agree with Kaku, Angel or Demon doesn't matter, its how one lives their lives... As I know not all Demon desire to create chaos, just as I know not all Angels wish to create peace... Several paths have been decided for us, it all depends on our choices in which one we follow. Ruru made bad choices when helping me, but for the right reasons... And despite becoming a Demon and an Outlaw, he was repaid for his kindness when meeting Kaku..." Nanari looked up, hoping the things she said were okay, and perhaps helped a little with showing who Ruru was, she could tell that Hane wasn't particularly pleased. But regardless on what she heard from now on, she knew she would forgive Ruru for what he did, and perhaps get her brother back... But even if not, knowing Ruru was happy would be enough for her. She only hoped Hane wouldn't do anything to harm him when they meet.

Hane had heard enough, gathered enough information about this, 'Ruru' to know exactly who he was. And the small Angel was not pleased. A hardly noticeable scowl on his face, Hane dropped from his chair and onto his knee. "If I am permitted to speak out of place, your highness. I think the matter of seeing the relationship 'cute' or 'adorable' has clouded your realization to what a dangerous idea it is. Not only is the idea of a Demon and Angel liking each other preposterous, but the fact that they are oppositely Guardian and Outlaw makes the situation even worse. Is it not in your best interest that Angel children remain safe? Then how does allowing such a trap engulf Kakushin like this relationship follow that ideal? Trusting and... feeling deeply for that Demon has brought him to near death, and who is to thank luck for that? For all we know and fear, Kakushin could later fall to a worse fate." Hane stopped, ignoring the glare of Tenshi he could almost feel burning into his head. He would follow her majesty to the end, but sometimes, Hane just couldn't follow all of her ideals. Hane looked to his side, looking Kakushin up and down. "I feel that I am inclined to warn you against these feelings you hold for that Demon. Our past decisions do matter, Demons originated from the pits of hate, and today's Demons are no different. No matter how kind one of them may seem to be, a Demon is a Demon, and they were born to cause hate and suffering everywhere they tread. You cannot trust them, and do not be fooled by their acts of love or friendship. A naive path like that will only lead to death." Hane got up, eyes down. He didn't want to look into the other's eyes. Although he was standing by his points of view, Hane was adamant to know what the others felt about them. So, with no more words, Hane shuffled passed the bed, walking out and into the court-yard area in the centre of Shiro to be alone.

Although Tenshi did not mind Hane speaking freely, she was wising for him to finally do so after all, she couldn't keep the distain over what he said on her face. She understood very well what Hane was saying, and in some respects she agreed with him. But despite that, part of her believed that he was letting a grudge over the Demons cloud what happiness she knew Kaku had with Rurushu. Sending an apologetic look towards her guest and Kakushin, Tenshi excused herself from the room as to follow her friend. They had things they must discuss, and it would be better away from listening ears. Not surprised at finding Hane to be in the court yard, Tenshi went and stood next to him, before giving off a small smile, one of both bitter sweet happiness and grief. "I understand you do not approve of the relationship, but I must remind you that I see and know more then I should. I have watched the relationship blossom into something loving, and Kaku cares for Rurushu as much as Rurushu cares for him. The fact that Kaku is even alive right now is because this outlaw was willing to give his life for our beloved Guardian." Tenshi let the words seep in before continuing, not allowing Hane to get a word in before hand. "I do agree with you though, a Demon is a Demon, and they were born to create chaos, but not all thrive for it, some like Onrah who we lost last night, was respected and did the job we assigned to them. And a naïve path? I have lived thousands of years, born from the stars, took part in the war... And yet, myself and my dear loved friend Mo joined together In that battle, out of friendship, despite knowing the consequences of our actions if the Sun Goddess never got involved... So are you telling me I should not trust Mo, who I have been with since the very beginning?" Tenshi gave a look to Hane, one screaming for his honesty in this as it was such a huge topic. She did not wish to cause a fight, nor make it seem as if Hane didn't trust her judgement, but sometimes Tenshi had to be serious over matters that were important to her, and this was definitely one of them.

Hane stared off at nothing in general, debating on whether to fly off somewhere even more secluded, just to get away. But he knew, no matter how much frustration he was currently holding in, he could just leave at a time like this. For once, the Guard didn't flinch as Tenshi appeared next to him, instead keeping his eyes away from hers, as he feared what kind of judgemental glare she must be giving him. He shifted slightly as she spoke, but listened politely. Hane knew his tantrum was due to his grudge, but he was all to used to passing down his opinions onto his students. He wanted them to be just as aware of the world as he'd grown to be, including the caution towards Demons. Kakushin had been a late student, joining after accepting his Guardian role, and so Hane was still in his 'parenting' stage. Hane pursed his lips before speaking. "I am not against your judgements, your majesty. My words only reflect my own confusion, and I regret to say I also acted out of my own fears. I know my immortal years do not lay a scratch against the thousands you have lived through, but I have seen enough suffering to come to my own conclusions, although even those conclusions I am yet to understand. We lose so many friendships, friends and loved ones. There cannot be love in this world, not without suffering, and that confuses me. Why would one try to fall for another person, only to feel the impact of that fall when they died? If something happened to one, then the other would break too. That Kakushin and this Rurushu being together to protect one another is irrelevant, as in the end, one will give their life for the other, and break that bond. Love is just a fragile string, one that inevitably ends. And if the pain of breaking that string is so great, then why work towards creating the bond in the first place? But with all of that said, I myself am found caring for others. As Kakushin was found dying, I could not understand the overflowing feelings in my chest, like a part of me had burst open." Hane clutched his shirt, sighing to the ground. "I fear what would become of one with such duties on their shoulders if they were exposed to such emotions, on a greater scale then what I experienced. I suppose it is righteous to say that I don't just not express my trust to Demons, but to everyone in this world. Because trust is what leads to heartbreak, something more unbearable then death. I would never ask you against your choices, your majesty, but I would present you with a question. If you care as much for the Demon King Mo as you claimed to me, how are you not overwhelmed with the idea of losing that friend forever? Is friendship and love worth the risk?"

Tenshi gave a small smile. So he was just afraid that loving one would cause too much heartbreak if they were to lose them. Tenshi understood, just how she knew why he thought such things, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to not try and have him see the other side of things. Taking a hold of one of Hanes hands, Tenshi turned him until he was facing her. "As you know the world relies on a balance: Day and night, sound and silence, winter and summer... Love and hate. We rely on this balance to guide us through our lives, to help us not become mindless zombies going through the same actions and same thoughts throughout our lives. We cannot love without there being suffering at some point... Its just like how we cannot suffer without love, as their would be no need for us to suffer. It is inevitable not to care for someone, even if you do not know it yourself at the time, perhaps this is the same when you saw Kakushin lying there on the brink of death. And with Kaku, he loves this Outlaw, no this misguided Demon, enough to let himself suffer if it means protecting him... Just how its the same the other way around... But do you really believe that they wont suffer if they never tried the relationship, always wondering if it would have worked or not? Or if you try to break the two of them apart, do you really believe they wont suffer without the other. Hane, everyone has love in their hearts, and everyone suffers from the broken bonds, but this is just the balance, and when something goes bad, they learn from it and change their fate, they turn that suffering into love to continue that balance." Tenshi took a breath, it was difficult trying to word all that she has learnt in her lifetime, but if it made Hane see what she saw, then her work here would be done. "We all have suffering, living for thousands of years has caused me to watch countless deaths of my children, and it breaks me a little inside each time. But watching them grow, watching them become themselves in the life they live... It makes me proud they live in that balance, regardless on the loss I know I will face. That heartbreak is just a part of life, but its not always a bad thing, it makes one learn and adapt, they know the risks, they know what could happen, and yet they risk it, because at the end of everything the climb is the best thing of all, despite the losses." Taking another breath Tenshi mulled over the question, of course she would be heartbroken to lose him, and she fears that moment everyday of her life, but she also knows that she wouldn't trade him for anything. "Let me ask you something first... And I don't mean to upset you by this at all... Would you trade the memories of your friends, the ones you lost, if it meant they live another decade? Or would you rather keep those memories, the love and care you hold of them, to overcome that heartbreak you felt losing them, and live on, keeping their memories alive?"

Hane was an incredibly indifferent soul. His attitude towards others had once been passed down to his students, before they went on to realize different things about the world that required more emotional responses. At one point, perhaps Hane would have been like them, discovering new things and feelings. But he'd lives close to two long life times, and the things that had once surprised him no longer had that effect. In a way, Hane's life for a while had felt monotone, the first century passed and Hane felt like he'd given the world as much emotion as he could part with. He'd felt friendship again, just like he had done when mortal, and had once again felt heartbreak when his friends grew older and died whilst he remained small and young. Hane had felt the same feelings over and over again. And he just didn't understand how someone like Queen Tenshi, how had experienced the same loses many times over Hane, still managed to find the power to love so freely. "I suppose I decided years ago, when I chose to pick up the role of mentor to new Guardians and Angels with fighting spirit, that I would mould them into a similar mindset to my own. And I watch them grow up from young to older, feeling proud as they step level with my skills. I didn't want all of that potential to go to waste. Kakushin, he is the first student I have entrusted with teaching my Light-Speed magic to, and yet I fear what kind of waste it would be should he disappear. And so I overcome these fears by trying to ensure my chi... my students act with caution, just like I have adapted to do." Hane admitted. He finally looked up to Tenshi when she mentioned his friends, a still sour topic, even almost two centuries ahead of time. Hane was about to reply, before looking to the floor. No, he supposed bringing them back would do nothing anymore, they would only live so long, build even more emotion into Hane before dying once more, and forcing that emotion to explode. But the memories of Hane's time with his friends, their adventures and spirit, even to this day, Hane relied upon them to keep himself sane. Hane closed his eyes, picturing their faces, all happy and encouraging, before smiling to himself. "I would save their memories, because for those who live the eternal life that we do, memories serve as a tremendous force of life." Hane eventually replied. He looked up to the Queen, smile rather sheepish now that he'd basically given in to her opinion. "I apologise, your highness, if my opinion express towards you and the others was by any means inappropriate and profound. I would like to believe that my behaviour is completely based on wanting to make sure no one must suffer heartbreak. But it was also my own selfish need to vent out the frustration of losing so many chances of companionship when living immortally... The more I lose, the more desperate I feel to join them in death. But I see that it not the case, although I would gracefully accept a release from this world, my job is not yet complete. I must continue to serve by your side, and protect your children, until the day comes that I no longer need to fear for your, or any other Angel's safety. And if protecting them means allowing them to feel both sides of love and suffering, then I will not pry too deeply into their lives, as I have done before."

Tenshi smiled when her beloved friend almost slipped up, she supposed they were like children to him, and it was not something she was going to let him forget anytime soon. But for now she would store that information in the back of her mind, possibly to tell Kakushin when she got the chance. For now, Tenshi just smiled and listened to Hane's reasoning, and she could find no fault in what he was saying, she could understand where he was coming from, and Tenshi respected him for that. Chuckling slightly when Hane finally found a way to agree with her, Tenshi knew the other would be alright and make the right choice from now on, as he will chose what he thinks is right, rather then let his own belief cloud his vision. The queen wrapped her arms around Hane's shoulders and kissed the top of his head in a motherly fashion, her work here was done, and she believed it was time almost for Hane to fix things with Kakushin. "Im proud of you my child. And I know whatever you chose to do now will be the right choice, the one you believe to be. And there is no need to apologise, I fully understand your reasoning behind such things, just as I am proud you spoke up for those beliefs... Your friends would be... Are, proud of you too. I think the others know you only do this to protect them, but remember were not all glass dolls, we can look after ourselves once in a while, just as we can protect others, including yourself." Releasing Hane from the hug, Tenshi smiled towards him once more. "I believe we are about to be checked on, you did leave in a huff after all. So go fix things with Kaku, I suspect he's heading out of Shiro by now, and remember what ever you do now is the right choice... Just listen to what he has to say first, he might just surprise you... Go, go catch up with our little escapee, I will tend to our guest... I have matters I would like to discuss with her."

Kakushin felt stunned at how Hane viewed the situation. He'd expected the Angel to be a little annoyed, perhaps protective, but to so discriminant about Demons was something Kaku didn't want to hear. Whilst he could understand some of what Hane said, the fact that Kakushin was in his condition was due to wanting to protect Rurushu, but even after experiencing all of the pain of the explosion, Kakushin wouldn't go back and make a different decision, even if the chance presented itself to him. And the idea of falling to a worse fate made the Angel think of his dreams. The idea of dying as those he loved were hurt around him, that trying too hard to protect them brought his own death, Kaku could understand Hane's concern. And if Hane had stopped there, then perhaps Kakushin could have understood and forgiven Hane for being rude. But the next statement from his 'teacher' threw Kaku off the edge. If he could move, he'd be demanding Hane stopped talking. He made it sound like all Demons wanted to do was kill and cause suffering. Hane didn't even consider what kind of life Demons had to be dragged through to reach that conclusion. Nor did he know any Demon beyond the ones that had attack him, over a century ago. So his statement was completely prejudice. Kakushin took a deep breath, clenching a hand into a fist as Hane left the room. "S-stubborn old fool... he d-doesn't even know a-any Demons to h-help his claim. I-if it is only Demons... who c-create hate, then w-why does he l-loath them... all so much?" Kakushin muttered, almost forgetting Nanari was there too. He turned his head towards her direction, smiling slightly, despite his livid feelings to what just conspired. "I-I r-refuse to believe him... and I w-would listen to H-hane either... t-the old man is... just heartless.. to t-these kind of things." Kakushin claimed to Nanari.

Nanari was shocked at the outcome from Hane, but not as much as the others, considering she could see in his face distain over the revelation... In a way she guessed it was partially her fault, considering she was the only one to mention a name. But it was shocking none the less. Watching as the queen went after him, Nanari hoped that she would be able to talk some sense into the other. But Nanari couldn't hate him, there was something in his eyes that showed he was saying those things for a reason. Whipping her head towards Kaku as he spoke, Nanari felt the need to at least defend Hane on this side. "I don't think he's heartless... Hane never left your side all night, watching over to make sure you were okay. Worried sick he was, just like a father would be..." Nanari gave Kaku a small amused smile, it wasn't hard to tell that's how Hane acted towards Kaku, she's seen that look before with her own father, as well as Mavie's. "I think he said those things to try and protect you, he just doesn't want you to get hurt in the end.. I mean, I don't know what happened to him in the past, but one can see whatever it was scarred him, I believe that he's just concerned and doesn't want you to feel the pain he felt..."

Kakushin pursed his lips when Nanari made a point. Kakushin was just speaking out of his own frustrations. Of Hane being rudely against Kaku's relationship, to the fact that Kaku had yet to get the chance to escape and get on with what was most important right now. But the idea of Hane being more than the arrogant, overprotective fool that Kaku viewed him as got Kakushin thinking. He still felt like he hated the man's guts right now, but he also knew he couldn't hate Hane forever. They hadn't been on terms with one another for long, only since Kaku was made a Guardian. But still, of all the Angels to actually make a mark on the depressed Angel of the past, Hane had made a dent at the least on Kakushin. Kaku knew spots of Hane's past. Something about becoming immortal after losing friends to aggressive and sadistic Demons. The old man had been through one hell of a life, and it didn't look like it was going to end any time soon either. "I g-guess... he isn't a-always bad. B-but I swear... he j-just tries t-to treat me l-like a kid, typical old timer." Kakushin replied, sighing as he found a soft spot on Neko's still, fluffy chest. "H-he thinks... I'm s-still w-weak. B-but I didn't go... through his s-stupid years of t-training... for nothing. I c-can fight my own b-battles, and I will." If I can ever get away from this place, Kakushin added in his mind. The Angel could feel a thousand times more breath enter his system now that he'd been healed. Speaking was still hard, because his throat was so raw and dry, but other than that, lying in this bed, Kakushin felt fit enough to leave. Of course, his definition of fit was a huge contrast to everyone else's. Kaku glanced towards the door. "W-wonder what... Tenshi is t-telling Hane."

Nanari said no more on the matter, she didn't feel as if it was her place, considering she knew nothing about Hane or the past he held, and she wasn't going to go prying into business that was not her own. Besides, it wasn't hard to tell Kakushin did seem like a child when around Hane, but she wouldn't mention that out loud, she cared for her life and health too much. But regardless she found it sweet, and could see that bond between them. "It doesn't make you weak just because you have someone helping in a battle... If anything it makes you stronger..." Sending a smile Kakushin's way, Nanari turned her gaze towards the door, "I could go check on them if ya like." Nanari was curious herself, considering how quickly her majesty went after him, so obviously the conversation could go either way, Nanari hoped it was for the better, rather then worst...
