Name: Hada Faeri
Age: 29
Gender: Girl
Race: Human
Job: Assassin
Rank: 5 Stars
Appearance:
With her bright, cherry pink hair and young face. Hada is one to use her feint of innocent looks to her advantage. She looks the young and quiet type, a sweet smile and soft golden eyes. But underneath is cold and hopeless. She is small and fragile-looking. Her hair is long, covering down to her waist, with a plait to one side which Hada tends to meddle with when talking. Her fringe also covers the ring of scars around Hada's forehead. She wears upper class clothing, rich fabrics and styles. A small grey waist coat over the top of a pure white shirt, along with a dark skirt. Hada rarely smiles, and when she does, it is faked and meaningless. However, her voice is surprisingly confident, just as is her demeanour when fighting.
Personality: Once, Hada was a young girl, ever caring for others, and dreaming of having friends and going on adventures. She would see inspiration in the hearts of everyone. She had a 'way' of seeing through others, knowing when they were upset, and try to cheer them up. But now, those skills fall flat and meaningless as she is given one purpose in life. Killing others is her only goal, and she cannot know who is her target until she is informed of their death request, and so sees no one as a person she can talk to. What once would be a crowd full of fun, interesting people, now to her is as plain as grey stone on a road. Nothing has colour to her, but the blood removed from her victims. She vows never to get close to anyone, or be they hunted down killed, as is everyone Hada has ever got close to. She is a fairy no longer spirited enough to fly. However, there is one thing Hada continues to hold onto. Hope. The hope that her current situation can change, that she can one day be free to return to the life she once aspired to live towards. The hope that one day she can have good friends, that won't abandon her or die, and that will go with her on great and fun adventures.
Likes: Hope, Sunlight, Being alone, Not hurting people, Cute creatures, Fights(more of an wild instinct/desire), sweet foods, making people happy.
Dislikes: Hurting others, being lonely, getting dirty, pain.
Weapons: A simple yet expensive Rapier. It is said that Hada in fact keeps hundreds of copies of her swords, and only uses a sword against one victim, keeping the bloodied use ones as trophies.
Magic: Custom Magic: Holy Armour Magic:
A golden suit of armour passed down the generations of Hada's original family. Once placed on, the user is granted a completely new set of abilities only accessible in the armour:
-Joyeuse. A legendary sword only able to be summoned when wearing Holy Armour. It is a sword of legend worthy of it's rarity and value. Said to be able to cut through the gap of Dranar and Aura to finally bring the two together, the Holy sword was made personally by the Sun Goddess, but lost before it's true use could ever be for-filled. It fell into Hada's family generations ago, and has been passed along via Holy Armour ever since. (Fun fact! The sword, Joyeuse, actually exists: Go to number 5)
-Regeneration. Wearing the armour allows gradual healing of previous wounds, or wounds inflicted when wearing the amour.
-Invisibility. When in sunlight, the armour can absorb and reflect pure sunlight to turn the wearer invisible, so long as they remain in direct sunlight.
-Flight. Sunlight can be absorbed, and then transformed into wings of golden light, shaped like an insects of fairy's, that flap with incredible speed to allow the wearer to have fast and very evasive flight, if only for short periods of time.
-Holy Rays. Beams of sunlight are absorbed and focused into powerful rays, able to burn through almost any target.
Because the Holy Armour requires a source of sunlight for any of its powers to work, if Hada was to run out of the absorbed power, or leave a direct ray of sun, (for example at night), then the powers would run out. Once the powers have run out, none of the Holy Armours powers are accessible, and the armour merely becomes a typical suit of armour, slightly more resilient than the average iron suit. So it is to note, that when in sunlight, the armour is almost indestructible.
Also, the armour magic has a strong connection to the user, to their soul. The magic is emotionally attached, and so can only be harnessed when the user is in the correct mindset for the armour. And once the users will is strong enough, the armour becomes more and more effective, the stronger the will. (Although, Sunlight factors above the users will, so one can still not use the Holy Armour's power without a light source.)
Because of her current state in life, Hada hasn't been able to harness her natural magic ability, and so has never worn the Holy Armour before nor knows how to harness it.
History: House of Faeri, up until a century ago, were a family well known as bounty hunters and assassins. But more than that, they were a group of Humans that spoke for the heart of humanity and posed great possibilities for Sohul-wide peace. Their targets ranged from the cut-throat and ghastly villains of the back-streets to the power hungry, corrupt Humans of rule. Their legend went back to the earliest generations of Human civilisation. When it was said that they were Humans born with the blood of the Sun, and could wield the Sun Goddess' power with ease, using it to rid Humans of weakness and terror. And for generations and generations, the Faeri's kept up to their legend, helping others with this great magic power so uniquely bound to their family bloodline. Even to the last century, they served their purpose by cutting down the darkness, until finally the darkness bit back hard enough to leave a mark. The Faeri family, vast in numbers now, was betrayed by one carrying their very own blood. One Faeri, killing off others and taking their power unto their own, and using it to kill more and more. The inner family carnage was only stopped when this tyrant of a member finally got what they sought out for, complete power, and control at the top of the family line. They remained the final and only of the Faeri bloodline, and restarted the line themselves. Hada was born as the great grandchild of this once feared tyrant of a Human, but even though her blood was strongly connected to them, Hada and her siblings didn't share the same desire to rein at the top of the family.
No, by now, the Faeri family was barely recognisable, mere civilians walking the streets of Sohul with average jobs, trying to forget what kind of cruelty and thirst for power ran through their veins. Hada's parents were simple blacksmiths, forging weapons for guards of Baransu. Although Hada was young, she was adventurous and clever. Her parents trusted the girl's natural skills enough to even make small, child-sized swords for the girl to practise with. Hada's family even went out of the normal way to aspire to Hada having a more overt job in the guards or as a hunter, since the girl seemed so able in the ways of a sword. It was a rare opportunity indeed, in this day and age for a member of the Faeri family to be so skilled with swords, after the years of trying to forget their assassin's blood. So perhaps it was because someone of the Faeri line was finally known to be exponential at fighting, that word got out to the more unruly of men.
Hada came back, 7 years old and chirping with childish imaginations and ideas, to find a sight to scar any child. Her parents were dead, shrivelled up, blackened piles of meat left cooking over the coals they used in their blacksmiths. The rest of her family that had lived with them had been taken away to be killed without Hada's knowledge of their murder, as such the girl was left to assume her parents died of a terrible accident. Tripping together into their deaths amongst the fiery coals of creation that Nada had once been in awe to see them wield. It was soon after that, when the girl wandered the streets in heart-ache that a man came to find her. Although his face and body was covered in all manners of cloth and sinister looking garments, he spoke with a soft voice, and claimed he meant well. He told Hada about her bloodline, what the Faeri family was truly meant for. He told her that it should be her duty, to respect the deaths of her parents, to carry on their true family tradition.
And so, through harsh training and tough love, Hada was taught to an assassin by the man. He told her he was her new 'family' along with friends of his. And that she should treat all of them like elders, and do whatever tasks they ask of her. Many of which left the girl injured, or were dangerous beyond a child's abilities. But Hada soon forgot what fear was, and sadly, what happiness was too. Although she felt a bond between her new family, she didn't feel happy around them, because she was treated as a tool, nothing more. And as a tool, she felt nothing but the desire to do her job. The idea of making her family name proud disappeared year by year, and instead Hada just thought of doing her job. Killing who she was told to kill, no matter who they were, just so that she could go home and eat and sleep without being abused further by her new 'family'.
One day, she can only wish for the end of her new family, to somehow get away from them with them finding her or burning down an entire city just to punish her. But until she can find a means to that impossible dream, Nada remains the indifferent and merciless killer she was forced to become.
Free Item: Dark Magic: Bane Magic: Taught by Hada's new 'family'. It is a magic perfect for an assassin, and the family Hada works for is known for punishing their victims as well as just killing them. Bane magic allows the user to enter the mind of their target, so long as they have a long enough eye contact, and either read their thoughts or manipulate them. The magic focuses on the worst part of the mind, the part most filled with suffering or fear, and tells the user of Bane magic about it. From there, the user is free to manipulate their victim with further magic use, such as hallucinations, or by taunt.
